Chapter 2:

(So, to kick things off this time. I'm sorry I didn't post the summary, I thought I did, in the grand scheme of adding all the tags, editing and stuff. My b! Anyways, so I hope you guys like this story so far. This chapter will start leading to the events of the game, so look forward to those chapters. I'm excited to write stuff between Sammy and Sunny! Enjoy the chapter!)

Sammy grabbed a piece of his birthday cake as his first breakfast of the New Year, wondering when Papa was going to wake up. "Ice Cream Monday!" Sammy shouted, later getting some ice cream for breakfast. The boy heard the synthetic morning groans of his papa. "Hi, Papa!" Sammy said, giggling, "Happy New Year!"

"Oh, morning, rascal!" Bonnie said, chipper. "Happy New Year. Already went for the cake, huh?" Bonnie asked. Sammy then realized he didn't wash his face, "Whoops." the boy said. Bonnie sighed, but chuckled, "Well, you're not getting any for dessert if that's the case, kiddo." he said to him.

"Awww…" Sammy said, sad. "Okay, so Papa, since I'm older, I was wondering if-f-f-f-f…pllbhhh!" Sammy blew a raspberry as he finished his sentence. They both laughed, "I'm guessing you're asking about the guitar?" Bonnie asked. Sammy nodded, "I was planning to wait until you were at least 10, kiddo." Bonnie said, "Aww…" Sammy said. "Sorry, son, the guitar's a little too big for you to play right now." Sammy looked sad, "Okay then. But being 10's a long time from now." he whined.

"Trust me, kiddo. The time'll fly by before ya know it. Anyways, since your birthday bash was yesterday during the new year…" Sammy realized what was coming next, "No." Bonnie kept a straight look on his face, "Yup. Today's the cleanup day. Call the janitors, Sammy, cuz it's time to clean up the place." Bonnie said. "No, I hate cleanup day!" Sammy shouted. "Haha, yeah, a lot of people do. Still gotta clean up, rascal." Bonnie said.

Sammy sighed, "Okay…" Bonnie looked at his son, slightly annoyed. "Come on, when's the last time you cleaned that junkyard you call a room?" Bonnie asked, going and getting a vacuum. "Okay, that's fair." Sammy said, heading to get a trash bag. "Yeah, remember, make sure there's no food trash under your bed, kiddo." Bonnie said, plugging in the vacuum. Sammy looked a little annoyed as he checked for trash in his room, looking at his game console. "I could be playing games right now." Sammy thought to himself.

(Later)

Bonnie had finished charging up his battery. Asher managed to set up one of the original charging stations in his house. The robo-rabbit walked out to see his son was watching tv. "Done charging?" Sammy asked, "Should be good for the next few hours, kiddo. Whatcha watching?" Bonnie asked.

"Avatar." Sammy said, before a commercial went up. Bonnie looked at the commercial, soon realizing what it was. It was one of the Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex! Sammy perked up, "Oh, that's where Uncle Asher works, right?" he asked, Bonnie nodded his head. "Yup, he works there as a technician, which means he's one of the guy's who helps with the repairs for the building and me and my friends." Bonnie explained, "Papa, you worked there, too, right?" Sammy turned to his papa.

Bonnie nodded his head, "Another yuppo! I used to perform there, sticking it to the man, rock and roll style!" Bonnie explained, pretending to play his old bass guitar. Sammy's eyes lit up, "That sounds so cool! Which is why I—"

"Still waiting 'til you're ten, kiddo." Bonnie said, shutting his eyes while keeping his calm-chipper tone. "Aww, come on!" Sammy said, acting a little dramatically. "Anyways, yeah, for the band, I'd normally play the bass. Well, before your Uncle Monty took that over." Bonnie explained. Sammy nodded, "So then…why'd you leave, Papa?" he asked. Bonnie looked at his son before looking to his side.

(Flashback)

Bonnie went to the catwalks above Gator Golf to check on Monty to see how he was holding up after his first performance. "Yo! Monty, you here?" he called out. The Gator Golf was barely lit, "How is anyone supposed to see in here?" Bonnie had a hard time seeing. Bonnie walked around the catwalks, deciding to go back down to look for Monty. Bonnie's robotic ears twitched upon hearing something, like a scratching noise. "Monty, that you?" Bonnie called out, but heard no response.

"Maybe not. There a malfunctioning Security Bot nearby?" Bonnie asked himself, walking closer. Best thing to do is to notify the main office if there was something weird going on. As he walked away from the railway he could see something.

The casing on this animatronic looked a lot like Freddy's. Something looked off, though. The casing looks old, a little broken down. "F-Freddy?" Bonnie asked the thing, wondering if something had happened to his friend. The animatronic in question nearly slipped, revealing a key feature on the bottom of his foot.

"Prototype?" Bonnie looked confused, before he looked up at the creature. The animatronic before him was not Freddy. The animatronic standing in front of the robo-rabbit was much more broken down, and headless. Bonnie looked nauseated, pretending to throw up, "O-Okay, that's enough to make a grown robot sick." Bonnie joked, before the robot lunged at him. "A-Argh! G-Get off!" Bonnie shouted. "Th-This isn't how best friends act, man !" The animatronic had no conscience to call its own, it was pure animal instinct. Bonnie remembered the struggle he went through. "Seriously glad our Freddy isn't like this!"

(End of flashback)

The prototype Freddy almost destroyed Bonnie. It wasn't until Monty found him and Asher ran repairs on him that he managed to survive. Since Asher was already on call for routine maintenance, he used that opportunity to take Bonnie to avoid whatever it was he was afraid of. "It's a pretty complicated reason, kiddo. Might bore ya to sleep." Bonnie simply said to his son. Sammy nodded, "Then, of course, at least 8 months later, you were found at the front door, rascal." Bonnie explained. Sammy looked a little confused, "I thought babies were made in a mama's tummy…" Sammy said. Bonnie just laughed, before explaining what happened.

(Another Flashback!)

Bonnie just finished his charge, and proceeded to play a guitar that Asher had bought for him. The robo-rabbit expected Asher to be here soon for some routine maintenance. "Wonder how they're doing…" Bonnie had wondered how his friends were doing since he left the Pizzaplex. "No doubt Monty's still breakin' a few things. I just hope Chica's not still upset…" Bonnie even thought if Freddy and Roxy went into the Bonnie Bowl anymore. "Ha-hah…here's hoping I didn't miss a date with Roxy…" Bonnie said, trying to stay light, but was falling short on positivity. Although, he missed his best friend and his girlfriend. Bonnie continued to play until he heard something at the door.

"Huh? What's that?" Bonnie asked, walking to the door. The noise he heard sounded like a cat meow-shouting or something. Bonnie gently opened the door to find that there was…

"A baby?" Bonnie asked. The infant had bright little tufts of orange hair, and was dark-skinned, crying itself out at the setting sun. Bonnie picked up the baby from the small basket he was laid in. "Well, aren't you a little rascal!" Bonnie said, cheerfully. The baby opened his green eyes to see the blue animatronic rabbit. The baby stopped crying because he was being held.

"Here, let's see if ya have a bottle and stuff." Bonnie looked in the basket and grabbed a bottle with some already made milk formula. Bonnie wondered where the baby's parents were. The baby coughed a little, "I'm not sure if you're new to this, but we say "excuse me", little mister." Bonnie said, trying to joke with the infant. The robo-rabbit gave the baby his bottle to drink. "I guess I have someone to wait with until Asher shows up." Bonnie said. "Still, what do I call you until then? Hmmm…how about…Sammy? It's a good name, right?" Bonnie asked.

(End of flashback)

"Then, your Uncle Asher tried to find your parents and when that couldn't happen, well…one thing led to another. Uncle Asher let me take you in, rascal." Bonnie explained, remembering how it all started. If he hadn't left the Pizzaplex, would Sammy have had anyone to take care of him? The robo-rabbit couldn't know, they didn't live in that timeline. "Ohhhh, that explains why I'm not a robot." Sammy said, Bonnie nodded his head. "And that's pretty much how we ended up living here, son. I still gotta worry about neighbors most of the time, but it's fine." Bonnie said, "So, do you wish you could go back to your old home, Papa?" Sammy asked. Bonnie looked at his son, surprised. "Well…I wouldn't be able to take care of you at my old home, rascal, so…I'm not sure." Bonnie said, "Besides, it's not like I'm lonely if I've got you, your Uncle Asher and Cassie." Bonnie said. Sammy then thought of something, "Hmm…I got it! We can head there, right? Uncle Asher has that car in the garage we can use." Sammy said. Bonnie just laughed, "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, kiddo. I'm not so sure Asher would be happy about that." Bonnie said.

"Mmmm…Okay then. I guess not, then?" Sammy then said. "Who knows, maybe I can ask Asher and he could maybe take us there." Bonnie said. The robo-rabbit still needed to know what was going on at the Pizzaplex, so he was unsure. "Well, I guess that's it for story time, yeah?" Bonnie asked his son.

"Mmhm." Sammy smiled, "Love you, Papa." Sammy said, feeling happy that his father appreciates him. Bonnie looked happy, patting the boy's head. "Love you too, rascal." Bonnie said.

"Okay then, let's order you some takeout! What're ya feelin' like?" Bonnie asked, Sammy grabbed his phone. "Mmm…I could go for a cheeseburger from Whataburger." Bonnie perked up, "Okay then. Now if you're good, I might consider getting a milkshake."

Sammy's eyes lit up, "MILKSHAKE!" Bonnie laughed, "Okay, but don't get your hopes up. That's only if you're on your best behavior, rascal." What happened in Bonnie's past may have been hard for him, but he never hated his new life wasn't all bad. How many robots did he know that became parents, he'd say none. Bonnie had a family now, and he was learning about love. That was a great thing in Bonnie's mainframe-set. Still, if he wants to know what's going on, he'd have to ask Asher about it…again.

(Okay, so that's it for the origin story! I hope you guys liked the chapter, next chapter will be them heading into the base game's events. As for Ruin, I'm not sure how that'll go with this huge divergence. Anyways, stay strong & awesome! Remember that God wants us to be kind to one another(and not for selfish reason or benefits, either))
