Miss Joyce was doing paperwork as she sighed in boredom as the young woman was eager to go home for the day in which she anticipated throughout the day.

"I can't believe my boss made me come to school during my break to do this conference thing but it's not like I have nothing bad to say about my students since they're so well-behaved but I guess someone has to make money for the day" Miss Joyce had spoken to herself as she sighed once more as she waited for the first group of parents to come in as she suddenly heard a knock on the door in which prompted her to sit up.

"Please come in!" Miss Joyce had called out as she turned her direction to the door while she saw the door opening to reveal Anastasia and Casey as this brought a smile to her face.

"Good Afternoon, you must be Miss Joyce. It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Anastasia Romanov Newman but you could simply call me Anastasia" Anastasia had greeted Miss Joyce as the pair gave each other a handshake.

"I'm Casey Newman, It's a pleasure to be at your service" Casey had greeted Miss Joyce as he tipped his hat in sign of respect as he eventually gave her a handshake.

"So you guys must be Anya's parents, It's truly wonderful meeting you both but please take a seat" Miss Joyce had directed the couple in a polite tone of voice as she, and Anya's parents had sat down.

"So, how's our daughter been behaving in school? Me and my husband would love to know and if there are any concerns then please let us know asap" Anastasia had asked Miss Joyce as her words were followed by Casey nodding his head in agreement.

"I'll take your words into consideration but Anya is a very well-behaved student and just a wonderful person in general like she always reaches her hand out for those in need and it just brings a warm smile to my face" Miss Joyce had spoken to Anastasia and Casey as her words brought joy to the couple's faces.

"Oh really? I'm very glad and pleased to hear that my little Anya is doing good in terms of behavior but how about academically wise? How does she fare in that category?" Casey asked Miss Joyce in a rather confident tone of voice as he waited for his answer with great anticipation.

"I'm glad to see that Anya has been doing wonderfully as well and we would like to say that we are proud of her as well" Anastasia had added on to the conversation as their words made Miss Joyce even more eager to spread the good news

. "It makes me happy that you guys are proud of Anya and she's doing good with her school work but she does need a little work when it comes to tests but other than that, She's doing wonderfully at school!" Miss Joyce had answered back in a more upbeat tone of voice as this brought smiles to Anastasia and Casey's faces.

"I'm very pleased to hear about all of this and we'll be sure to talk to her about the tests as well but it's been a pleasure in chatting with you" Anastasia had spoken to Miss Joyce as she let out a smile as both women gave each other a handshake as everyone stood up.

"Thank you for your time and we hope to continue to build this strong relationship" Casey had also spoken to Miss Joyce as he gave her a handshake as he and his wife proceeded to walk towards the exit.

"Both of you are welcome and if you guys have any concerns then please contact me, okay?" Miss Joyce had advised Anya's parents as her words were met with nods of agreement.

"We will! Thank you so much for having us once more and enjoy the rest of your wonderful day, God bless you" Anastasia had spoken back to Miss Joyce as she and Casey waved goodbye as they eventually left the room.

"I wonder what Anya's been up to? She's probably having fun with her friends while I'm stuck in this boring place but at least those conferences are passing up time" Miss Joyce had spoken to herself as she walked over towards the window to stare out of the beautiful view of New York.

"Anya, Charlotte, Russell, and Nancy. I never expected myself to actually enjoy their company since my last teaching experience was rather not so good but as long as kids like them exist then maybe this job is worth it in the end.." Miss Joyce had thought to herself as she smiled warmly that the very thought as she suddenly heard knocking on the door which alerted her.

"Please come in" Miss Joyce had answered back as she saw the door open to reveal Mr Miller as this surprised the young woman.

"Oh it's you, What brings you here on this fine day" Miss Joyce had asked him as she turned her direction to the gentleman while waiting for her answer.

"I wanted to talk to you for a small bit if you don't mind…" Mr Miller had spoken back as he had taken a seat in front of the desk which made Miss Joyce raise an eyebrow.

"Sure, It's been a while since we've spoken to each other and I also wanted to chat with you as well" Miss Joyce had spoken back as she walked over to her desk to take a seat as she was ready to start the conversation.

"So, has Judith been causing trouble for Anya and the others lately? I know she can be a bit off in terms of behavior but It could be that Anya and her little friends are provoking her which makes her snap" Mr Miller had asked Miss Joyce as his words made her annoyed as she slammed her hands on the desk.

"Anya and her friends are very wonderful students of mine and I won't take any slander towards them! Judith and her friends are the mean ones who're always provoking them and not the other way around!" Miss Joyce had spoken back to Mr Miller in a more stern tone of voice as this only made the man chuckle as he got up from his seat.

"Shame, I thought we were gonna have a nice talk but I'm not a fan of back and forths so I'll be taking my leave…" Mr Miller had spoken back in a rather annoyed tone of voice as he got up from his seat and walked towards the door as his presence was gone from the room as this made Miss Joyce sigh with relief.

"What was his problem? One minute he sided with me but the next, he's thinking his daughter is some good person…" Miss Joyce had said to herself as she sighed once more while getting up from her desk as she had looked out of the window once more as thoughts raced through her head.

"Anya, Charlotte, and Nancy. Please watch out for Judith and her friends cause it seems that those girls just don't like you guys but I have faith that they're gonna get through this…" Miss Joyce had thought to herself as she let out a smile as she continued to stare at the beautiful city that was New York.
