*Day of the Festival*
*Jackson Private Academy*
The festival was still lively and filled with energy as the afternoon was officially here as Anya and her friends were walking around the academy.
"Maaan, Lunch is so swell! My mother and everyone else are such good cooks!" Anya had spoken to herself as she did stretches in the process while walking alongside with her friends.
"You're right, The dressing, mac and cheese, and everything else was truly good! It's been ages since I've gotten a home cooked meal" Helen had spoken out in full agreement of Anya's words as she looked over and noticed that Charlotte and Mary were nowhere to be seen which prompted her to speak once more.
"Where's Charlotte and Mary? I don't see them anywhere. Did they split up or something?" Helen had asked Anya as her question was met with Anya nodding her head in confirmation.
"They did, The two went off somewhere but I'm assuming it was to check out the other games and whatnot" Anya had answered back as this brought a sense of relief to Helen as she knew that everyone was safe while Emma started to speak.
"Hey, I just saw this fortune teller machine that's not too far from here and I was wondering if we can check it out" Emma had requested to her friend and big sister as she saw the pair turn around while they began to speak.
"Sure, I remember seeing those when I was a kid so I think this would be a great way to know our futures; even if the machines are unreliable but It's still a great way to know things about yourself so I think we should check it out!" Anya had answered back in full support while Helen nodded her head in agreement.
"Hey, whatever floats everyone's boat! I'm just here to spend time with my wonderful little sis so let's get truckin ' Helen had spoken out as the two responses brought a smile to Emma's face as everyone was eager to know their fortunes.
"Wonderful, I'll take the lead from this point so everywhere please follow me.." Emma had spoken back to the pair in a joyful tone of voice as the three girls proceeded to walk towards where the fortune teller machine was currently sitting as the trio eventually made it in front of the mystical machine.
"Wow, It looks quite out of this world but I wonder what kind of fortune I'll get.." Anya had spoken out in awestruck as she stared at the brown wooden machine with a mechanical old lady that was inside of it.
"So, The rules are simple. You simply put a penny inside of the coin slot and the machine will give you a fortune! I personally believe the fortune that you'll get is based on the current state of your life whether it's good, bad or somewhere in the middle but who wants to go first?" Emma had explained to Anya and Helen as she saw Anya raising her hand which prompted Emma to choose Anya.
"The concept sounds quite easy and swell so I'd figured I'd go first to see if my fortune is good or not.." Anya had spoken out as she slowly walked over towards the fortune machine with a single penny in hand as she looked over to see Emma and Helen giving her support which made her feel more confident.
"Don't worry too much, kiddo! Just have a little faith within yourself that your fortune is gonna turn out good, okay?" Helen had advised Anya as her words were met with a thumbs up and a smile from Anya.
"Don't worry, I won't allow this machine or whatever to bring me down!" Anya had spoken back in a confident tone of voice as she turned around to face the fortune teller machine as this was watched by Emma.
"I hope Anya gets a good fortune…" Emma had thought to herself as she saw Anya putting the penny in the coin slot in which was followed by the machine making strange noises as she continued to watch the events that was unfolding as the noise eventually stopped.
"Alright, here goes nothing…" Anya had whispered to herself as she grabbed the small card from the machine and proceeded to read her card.
"You'll meet the person that you'll love, however it's not gonna be the one that you'd expect…" Anya had read out as this quickly caused her to blush madly as this was seen by Emma and Helen.
"That's quite a response from you, What did the card say…" Helen had asked Anya in a tone of curiosity as she and Emma walked over towards where Anya was currently at as they saw Anya handing them the card while still blushing. "
"You'll meet the person that you'll love, however it's not gonna be the one you'd expect…" Helen had read out as she had a rather surprised yet shocked expression on her face while Emma began to speak.
"Anya, D-Do you think it was referring to Calvin?! I know he's a good friend but…" Emma had asked her friend as her question was met with a rather blushing Anya shaking her head in denial.
"U-Um, No! I just think It's someone else like there's no way it's Calvin…" Anya had answered back in embarrassment as she eventually got herself together much to the relief of Emma and Helen.
"I was warned that the fortunes are probably inaccurate so you just probably got a bad card but either way, I hope you meet the person that you'll love one day or maybe…" Emma had spoken to her friend while Anya shook her head before speaking once more.
"It's okay, I was just caught off guard by that card but I think I'll just play this game of life by ear from this point on which is all fine by me" Anya had spoken back while she chuckled in the process as Emma and Helen nodded their heads in agreement.
"That's the spirit! Life is unexpected so It's always good to simply accept the rollercoaster that we're currently in but let's find something else to do! We still have the whole day awaiting us!" Helen had spoken to Anya in a joyful tone of voice as her words were met with Emma and Anya nodding their heads in agreement.
"Sounds wonderful to me! Let's try to think about other things…" Anya had spoken back as she, Emma, and Helen officially made their way towards their next destination while Anya had stopped for a moment as she was thinking about the events that had transpired.
"Could it actually be Calvin? I do have a small crush on him but It's nothing too serious or anything but I shouldn't think about it too much.." Anya had thought to herself as she simply laughed off the whole fortune ordeal as proceeded to run in order to catch up to Emma and Helen with plans to continue having a blessful time at the festival.
