Anya and her cousins were getting ready to play a game of tennis as everyone but Linda was excited to play.

"I'm pretty excited to finally play with my cousin so I expect a good performance from you, okay?" Cousin Micheal (17 years old) called out to Anya as he was looking forward to playing with everyone while Alexander smiled.

"Same here but I'm gonna explain the rules since Cousin Anya and my sister aren't familiar with the rules. The rules of tennis are pretty simple. You must score forty points in order win a set before switching to the opposite court but I know Tennis can be hard to understand so me and Micheal is just gonna make things easier by making it on whoever scores the most points, okay?" Alexander had explained to everyone as he was met with nods of understandment.

"I think we should just do whatever we want as well since it's more enjoyable for everyone but is everyone ready to have some fun?!" Anya had spoken out to everyone as she was met with her two cousins giving her a thumbs up indicating that they were ready as she also looked over to see Linda with her usual sour expression as the young girl began to speak.

"Just to let you know, I'm okay before you start to harass me about it and second of all, You better not lose, okay?" Linda had spoken to her cousin as she let out a cocky smile which made Anya smile back.

"You got it! We can't allow the boys to beat us or they'll tease us so let's give it our best!" Anya had spoken back as both girls were ready to play tennis as they waited for further instructions.

"Alright, Let's get this game of tennis started!" Micheal cried out in joy as he tossed the ball into the air as he used his right hand to serve the ball as it came rushing towards Linda's direction.

"You serve too hard brother! You're lucky I can hit those back!" Linda called out as she jumped a little so she could return the serve and much to her luck, she did just that as the ball was coming back to the boy's side of the court.

"Nice hit!" Alexander simply complinted his sister as he saw the ball coming towards his direction as he attempted to hit it back, however he missed thus scoring a point for Anya and Linda.

"That was wonderful! You did an amazing job" Anya had spoken out to Linda in joy as her cousin looked the other way but clearly hiding a smile.

"It was nothing. I'm just good, that's all but let's not get too confident, shall we?" Linda responded back as she let out the same cocky smile as this made Anya happy.

"I'm glad that Linda is having a good time but like she said, We should not rest until we win this set!" Anya thought to herself as she smiled back at Linda before the girls were ready for more action.

"I guess that's fifteen to our zero but don't think we'll go easy on you because you are girls and all! That was just the warmup so get ready to play seriously from this point on" Alexander had called out to the girls with a smile on his face while Micheal nodded his head in agreement.

"Alright, Let's see if you ladies can hit this serve" Micheal had spoken out to Anya and Linda as he served the ball once more but more stronger this time around as the ball was dashing towards the girl's direction.

"I guess that's my cue to return the serve!" Anya had spoken while she ran towards the ball as she successfully returned the serve as this made her smile.

"Whoa, I didn't expect you to actually return the serve but don't let that victory go over your head" Linda advised her cousin as she continued to watch the game unfold as the ball was coming towards the boy's direction.

"Don't think we'll go down that easily!" Alexander simply had spoken out as he quickly ran towards the oncoming ball and successfully returned the serve as it was now coming back to the girl's side.

"Anya! I got this one! So you better stay put, okay?" Linda had advised her cousin while Anya nodded her head in agreement as she saw Linda quickly running towards the ball as she attempted to serve it back; however she missed, thus scoring fifteen points for the boys.

"Niccce hit! I guess that's fifteen to fifteen meaning we're tied so I hope that the ladies are taking this seriously!" Alexander had spoken to his brother as he patted him on the shoulder while the girls watched.

"Damn, How could I miss that? I should have easily hit that one but I shouldn't dwell on it like I always do with things so I'm gonna do my best!" Linda had thought to herself as she was clearly motivated to win the game as this was noticed by Anya.

"Don't worry, we'll win this game and if not, you still did wonderful in my book" Anya had spoken to her cousin as she had a smile on her face.

"I know, I know. I'm not gonna let my brothers win this game and you seem pretty useful as well so what makes you think I'm gonna give up? I'm a pretty persistent person meaning I'm gonna get what I want no matter what! I may be the grouchy person in the family but if there's something that people actually respect me for is that I won't allow anyone to lose if they're on my team!" Linda had spoken back to her cousin in a motivated tone of voice as this made Anya smile.

"I'm glad to know how you feel, I'm like that with my friends back in New York so let's kick these boy's asses, okay?" Anya had spoken back to Linda as both girls shared a smile together before turning their direction back to the boys.

"Oh, This doesn't mean that I'm gonna open up to you more, okay? I don't know what happened over there but I guess I needed to tell you that" Linda had advised her cousin while Anya simply smiled and nodded back.

"Surrre but let's win this game, shall we?" Anya had spoken back as she and Linda were ready for the next phase of the tennis game as she knew that despite Linda's words, She was slowly having a good summer with her loved ones.
