Carrie (now 17 years old) stood outside the library, waiting for her boyfriend, Russell.
Carrie's hairstyle was now a low ponytail with some twists, and the outfit she was wearing was blue overalls with a green shirt underneath.
"Gosh, he's late. I hope the class isn't holding him up or something." Carrie spoke to herself before sighing while looking over to see Miss Joyce approaching her.
"Why if it isn't Carrie? How are you today and are you waiting for someone?" Miss Joyce curiously asked the girl while Carrie nodded with a smile.
"Good Afternoon, Miss Joyce. I'm waiting for Russell, my boyfriend and he said he was going to be here around this time." Carrie responded politely while making a cute pouty face.
"How wonderful, and why don't you come inside of the library and wait here, okay? It's pretty chilly outside." Miss Joyce advised Carrie before using her keys to unlock the library door which prompted Carrie to enter the library.
"Thanks, and me and Russell were supposed to hang out since we don't have any classes but he might be late or something." Carrie responded to Miss Joyce once more before taking a seat at one of the seats while she looked over to see Miss Joyce sitting at her desk.
"I see, and I hope that boy isn't seeing someone else in secret. I had a girl who was in your shoes a few years ago." Miss Joyce responded to Carrie while the girl shrugged this off since she knew Russell.
"I mean, I don't mind if he's talking to other girls. I'm not the one to get jealous of that nonsense. I trust Russell with all of my heart so if he's busy then I will believe him." Carrie responded with defense in her voice while Miss Joyce nodded understandably.
"I see, and I love the response. You're a good girlfriend, and that shows how much trust and faith you have in Russell." Miss Joyce responded to the statement with a smile while Carrie nodded.
"Exactly, and Russell is the reason why I came out of my shell. I was quite shy and soft-spoken when I first confessed my feelings for him two years ago back in March. He rejected me; however, we became good friends until December when we started to date." Carrie responded as she thought about what she just said which made her smile once more. Miss Joyce smiled back at this before speaking once more to the girl.
"And I'm glad to hear this, also, you look great today. I bet Russell is going to love your outfit." Miss Joyce complimented Carrie and this made the girl smile warmly yet again.
"Thank you, and Russell loves outfits like my one. Such a sweet guy.." Carrie responded before blushing slightly at the mention of him.
After this, the sound of the door opened and it was Russell himself that made Carrie happy.
"Heyy Honey! You've made it! Where have you been?" Carrie joyfully greeted her boyfriend before running over to give him a hug and a kiss on the lips while Miss Joyce watched everything with a warm smile.
"Hey, Babe and I were cleaning up a classroom, I'm sorry for being late, shall we head out now?" Russell responded, kissing her back in the process while Carrie nodded rather quickly.
"Of course, let's get our date started." Carrie responded with a smile before turning her direction to Miss Joyce as she waved goodbye to the librarian.
"Thank you for keeping me company, and I'll be seeing you, have a wonderful day, Miss Joyce." Carrie spoke to Miss Joyce for the final time before she and Russell left the library while Miss Joyce waved back.
"Goodbye, Carrie. Have a wonderful time with your man." Miss Joyce spoke to the girl for the final time before going back to whatever work she was going to do.
*Outside*
Carrie and Russell walked across the beautiful quad area before sitting next to each other by a beautiful green tree that was slowly growing its leaves back.
"I'm glad we don't have any classes at this hour today so that means I can spend more time with my Honey-Bunny." Carrie spoke to Russell before giving him a warm hug which made Russell smile.
"Same here, Babe. Moments like this make my heart warm." Russell responded with a smile while the couple continued to rest on the tree for a few more seconds until Carrie spoke once more.
"So, Honey-Boney, do you like my outfit? I've worn it just for you, and Cynthia inspired me to dress more southern." Carrie asked her boyfriend before gently bopping him on the nose which made Russell blush a little.
"Y-You look beautiful, and I love the outfit, It makes you look great. Cynthia had great taste as well." Russell responded with a blush while Carrie was happy to hear the compliment.
"Awww thanks! I knew you would like it, my cute Honey-Bunny!" Carrie responded joyfully before wrapping her arms around Russell and giving him three kisses, one on his lips, one on his cheek, and a final one on his neck.
This action made Russell's cheeks feel hot red indicating he was blushing while Carrie giggled at this.
"Awww is my cute Honey-Bunny blushing? Is it because of me, hm?" Carrie playfully teased Russell while smirking as Russell quickly answered.
"Y-Yeah, b-but I don't mind at all, Babe." Russell responded to the statement while Carrie laughed back.
"I knew you would say that. You're also so damn cute when you're this flustered. Reminds me of when you were trying to confess to me two years ago." Carrie spoke to Russell once more with a smirk on her face while her boyfriend nodded.
"I-I remember. I can't believe I was this shy when I confessed to you. It was similar to when you first confessed to me two years ago." Russell responded while still feeling the hotness within his cheeks.
"Exactly, my cute Honey-Bunny. That's why I accepted your feelings and took control although it was pretty cute seeing you stutter like the cutie that you are." Carrie responded once more before giving her boyfriend a passionate kiss on the lips as she rested her head on his shoulder right after.
This made Russell smile as he looked over at his girlfriend resting on his shoulder, and the scent of Champagne Toast that was coming from Carrie eased Russell.
"Once we graduate, we're going to find a place to live together, and someday, I'll marry you, but for now, let's focus on building our relationship." Russell thought to himself before closing his eyes to rest with his girlfriend.
During the rest, Carrie snuggled against the chest of her boyfriend, feeling his warmth.
"I love you, my Honey-Bunny." Carrie whispered in a soft voice while she continued to rest on his chest.
"And I love you too, my sweet Carrie." Russell responded with a soothing voice as the couple continued to rest against the tree.
*The two lovebirds continued to rest by the tree until their free period was over*
