"I don't understand," Bella says, her brow furrowing.

"Let me clear it up for you," I start, swallowing. "I realize it may seem unnecessary to present you with another ring, but that ring"—I nod to her left hand—"was for a woman you don't remember, and I want you to know that I love who you are now just as much."

Her lips curve, eyes shimmering.

"So, Bella Swan, will you accept this new ring as a token of our rebuilt love?" I ask.
