Batman was tracking the signal as the two of them made their way across the city. Peter swung as Batman glided around on his cape. They tracked the signal to some old building that used to be a hospital in the old days of Gotham.

"This seems to be it," Batman said.

"Let's see if he's here," Spider-Man said, swinging in and crashing through a window. He looked down and saw two onlookers guarding the door. He shot two webs yanked them un and quickly webbed their mouths shut to keep them from screaming. "Well, they aren't exactly high-tech."

Batman then somehow snuck up on him somehow. "They probably guessed that the snow would keep them out of the way."

"Oh, yeah, that is a good point," Spider-Man agreed. They then kicked open a door and saw there wasn't even anyone there, there was only a bunch of beds and a lot of papers everywhere. They did find the devices that the Flame was using to send the signal out to give them the message. "Oh... well, now I feel like this was a little overkill."

Batman approached a lot of the papers and tried to figure out what was going on. They saw there were a lot of papers about train schedules in Gotham. "Train schedules."

"Does a nuclear reactor mean anything to you?" Spider-Man called, getting Batman to look over and see there were blueprints and circles on a map where the train and the reactor are close to one another.

"He is going to derail the Gotham Express, and hit the reactor," Batman said in terror.

"That could turn Gotham into a crater," Spider-Man said in worry. "There would be no stopping it."

"And that's not the worst of it," Batman warned him. "There are likely going to be people on that train."

"Oh, boy," Peter said in worry. "How do we do this?"

"We have their schedule," Batman said, picking up one of the papers. "They plan to hijack the train before it reaches the second station to set everything up."

"Keep the train parked until they're ready to blow." Peter got the idea.

"We have to stop it!" Batman cried, immediately running out of the hospital.

Peter looked at Batman running and back to the papers. "What the hell..."

Peter then ran off and followed Batman.

The Gotham Express was under the control of The Flame, and at the helm was the formidable leader of the notorious group. He casually roamed through the train's compartments, evoking fear and distress among the families on board.

As panic and dread gripped the passengers, explosives were methodically positioned at the front of the train, while a group of armed individuals kept the innocent travelers subdued by the threat of violence.

"Ladies and gentlemen, sorry for the delay, but we have a slight change in the trail. We are going to take a detour through the Gotham reactor!" The Flame proclaimed.

The men screamed in terror and fear. They were whimpering and crying as Flame screamed and shot a few rounds at the ceiling.

"QUIET!" Flame proclaims, getting everyone to muffle their screams. "You should be thanking me. After all, everything burns!"

As the train departs, it steadily gains speed and builds momentum, hurtling towards a potentially catastrophic derailment. Meanwhile, perched on a nearby rooftop, Batman employs his trusty grapple to ascend to a ledge, while Spider-Man elegantly swings upward and gracefully alights next to Batman, just in time to witness the approaching train.

Both superheroes activate their advanced lenses, enhancing their vision to assess the imminent threat. Upon closer examination, they discern a substantial cache of dynamite perilously positioned at the forefront of the speeding train. Its explosive potential poses a severe risk, capable of triggering a catastrophic chain reaction, putting the entire area in jeopardy.

They also saw there were a dozen or so armed Flame followers inside of the train cars. They then noticed that in one of the cars was the Flame who they had seen on the video.

"There he is," Batman noticed.

"Okay, what's the plan?" Spider-Man asks.

"We've got to get down there, disable that bomb, and slow that train down." Batman recapped. "Rescue the hostages, and catch this Flame."

"Yeah, okay, that's an idea, not a plan," Spider-Man commented.

Batman then saw the train coming and leaped off to land on the top of the train car. Spider-Man looked around and shrugged as he saw they didn't have much of a plan, but just action.

"Oh, what the hell?" Spider-Man shrugged as he just dropped and followed. He landed on the train car behind Batman, watching as he was fighting the men above. "Well, looks like you've got it covered up here."

Spider-Man swiftly fired a web and gracefully swung his way into the train car. With precision, he collided with one of the Flame followers, propelling them against the opposite side of the car. Inside, the passengers let out terrified screams as another antagonist aimed and fired at Spider-Man. Evading the bullets with agile maneuvers, Spider-Man used his webbing to shield several of the commuters from harm.

Taking cover, Spider-Man seized the opportune moment as the Flame follower paused to reload. In a swift motion, he leaped in and deployed two strands of webbing, effectively immobilizing his foe. Without hesitation, Spider-Man webbed his way forward and propelled himself into the next train car.

Back on the top of the train cars, the Dark Knight known as Batman swiftly fired his grapple gun, catching one of the Flame followers by the neck and forcefully yanking him closer. With precision, Batman delivered a powerful punch to the follower's face, incapacitating him. As another assailant attempted to attack Batman from behind, Spider-Man swiftly intervened, using his web-shooters to pull the assailant off the train car, where he landed in a soft pile of snow.

Witnessing the unfolding chaos, Batman's keen senses alerted him to the screams of the terrified passengers inside the train. Without hesitation, he knew that immediate action was necessary. In a seamless display of teamwork, Spider-Man leaped to the top of the car, his agile movements juxtaposed against the ominous backdrop of the speeding train, while Batman descended with purpose, his cape billowing in the wind as he landed with a resounding impact, swiftly confronting the nearest group of Flame followers.

The dynamic duo swiftly moved through the train car, their coordinated movements a dance of precision and determination. Batarangs flew through the air, finding their mark with unerring accuracy, while Spider-Man's webbing ensnared their adversaries, rendering them incapacitated. As they advanced, the interior of the train car became a battleground, a flurry of acrobatic maneuvers and strategic strikes fending off any who dared to impede their progress.

Their relentless pursuit led them to the front of the train cars, where finally, they came face to face with the enigmatic mastermind behind the chaos – the Flame himself.

"The Fool's Prophecy!" The Flame proclaimed as he saw the two of them. "You are here to-"

Batman then punched him in the face, knocking him out cold. "No more speeches." He then approached the controls and started to try and slow the train down. "We've gotta-"

Whatsoever he was going to say was interrupted by the sound of Spider-Man blowing the train whistle. "I've always wanted to do that!" He then got serious. "Also, you guys gotta upgrade your train cars. You're still using coal!"

Batman gave him a look and then looked back over to the controls. "They've messed with the controls. We can't slow it down."

Spider-Man then looked over and saw the ocean off on the turn. "I have an idea. But it's insane and crazy."

"What?" Batman asks.

"We derail the train," Spider-Man said. "Throw me the dynamite, I'll explode the tracks up ahead, and we'll derail the train."

"And the people?" Batman asks.

Spider-Man gave him an odd look under the mask. "You know these cars disconnect, right?"

Spider-Man then proved his point as he walked away and punched the connecting Rod between the cars. Then they watched as the other cars full of passengers were slowing down and getting farther away.

Batman saw this was working and then quickly grabbed The Flame where he then grabbed some dynamite and threw it towards Spider-Man. Spider-Man then leaped up and spun with the dynamite and slammed it into the tracks, shaking the rain a little.

When it didn't work, Batman picked up a bigger stick of dynamite and tossed it upward. Spider-Man then spun around to build up the momentum and slammed it into the ground. The train then began to derail, and Batman took the Flame and leaped out of the car. The train derailed and was sent flying into the ice waters.

That impresses Batman because it starts to show him that Peter views this as more than a job and is willing to risk his life for his innocence. Spider-Man came swinging over as he landed aside of Batman. Batman placed Flame down aside the snow as he approached Spider-Man.

"I'll give you credit, you handled that well," Batman admitted.

"All in a night's work," Spider-Man said.

Batman then heard giggling, and they looked over to see that it was The Flame who's woken up. "This world will be reborn with blood... In the end, there...will be...Carnage."

Batman and Spider-Man anxiously listened to the blaring sirens growing louder and louder as they glanced over and noticed the flashing lights of the approaching police cars. Realizing that they weren't exactly in the good graces of law enforcement that night, they swiftly made their escape. They reluctantly left The Flame at the mercy of the arriving cops and stealthily retreated into the darkness to evade capture.

Observing The Flame being apprehended by the authorities, Spider-Man distanced himself and dialed a number, making an urgent call back to New York.

"Spider-Man ?" Yuri asked. "Spider-Cop out this late on Christmas?"

"Sorry, Yuri. It's... I thought you should get the good news." Spider-Man told him. "The Flame's leader has been taken down."

There was nothing but silence for a few minutes. "You did?"

"Yeah," Spider-Man said with a sigh. "He's done for."

"You found Cletus Cassidy?" Yuri wanted to clarify.

"That's his name?" Spider-Man was surprised to hear this. "Wow. We've just been calling him the Flame."

Batman watched as Spider-Man was chatting with a police officer. He wasn't sure how to feel about the idea of having cops as his allies, especially after everything tonight.

"Congratulations, sir," Alfred said.

"Thanks, Alfred. But the night is still young." Batman said.

"Off to the steel mill, then?" Alfred guessed.

"Exactly," Batman stated.

Finally, the heroes made it to the Steel Mill. However, they had to take care of a few armed guards that surrounded the front entrance before they could head in. After easily dispatching the guards, Alfred called them once more.

"Gentlemen. I have isolated the electromagnetic signal on the Electrocutioner's gloves. You can track him with your scanner now."

"A bit late. Alfred. we're about to get our hands on Black Mask and maybe, the Joker too."

"Right. Well, it's ready to go, should you need it."

"Duly noted, thanks," Spider-Man said before they both hung up.

Upon entering the building, they could hear voices up ahead of them. Spotting a floor grate to their left, the Batman hopped in and moved underneath the goons undetected while listening in to their conversation. Spider-Man leaped onto the ceiling and followed Batman from above as they heard they were still talking.

"The new boss's one hell of an actor. I had no idea it was him under the mask."

"Me neither. He was the spittin' image of Sionis. How long do you think he's been impersonating him?"

"Days, weeks maybe. Who cares. What I care about is what in the hell Rocco and the guys are still doin' down there. It's after midnight."

"They're changing the security codes, and interrogating' the Black Mask. That's what I heard."

"Ah great… Sounds like we'll be here all night."

The two heroes suddenly jumped out from the floor grates and landed on top of two nearby mobsters, shocking everyone.

"Don't worry, you'll all be spending the rest of the holidays in jail very soon," Spider-Man said as the criminals got into fighting stances.

They were all quickly dispatched by the duo in only a few minutes. Spider-Man used his position on the ceiling to web-yank two of the goons, leaving one open for Batman to leap out of the grate and take him down. It seemed that the brawl did not go unnoticed. In a room above them, they could hear more voices.

"You see what happened down there?"

"What are you going on about now?"

"All our guys, gone. It's like they vanished. Vinnie, Paul, Frank… You don't think it was the Bat and Spider do you?"

"The Bat and Spider? Here?"

"They're probably out for revenge after the boss tried to off 'em."

Using Detective Vision, the heroes spotted more criminals in a room above. The heroes first tried to open the door nearest to them, but found it locked via a security panel. Knowing that the codes were most likely in the office above them where the rest of Joker's men were. They spotted another door nearby and opened it, revealing a flight of stairs on the other side. As they ascended, they heard more of the conversation.

"Listen. Anyone, including the Bat and Spider, opens that door, they're full of holes. That thing's fully automated. Never misses."

"How do you know it works?"

"Trust me, It works."

Using the Detective Vision once again, the duo could see a turret positioned towards the door, stopping any plans of using the entrance. Luckily for them, there was another vent cover right above the door that could possibly lead right above the henchmen. Using a web to pull it off, Spider-Man and Batman crawled through the vent till they found themselves on wooden beams above the men.

"This is like that scene in a horror movie where you know the monster is just outside the house, and we're the dumbasses stuck in the house." One of the criminals said.

"No, man, we're the monster."

"Boo." Spider-Man's voice mockingly called out from above as the duo dropped down and began beating the crap out of everyone in sight.

Once they were done, they spotted the computer they needed on a desk in front of them. Analyzing the computer, Batman began uploading data from it to Alfred from the holographic screen coming from his gauntlet.

"Alfred. I'm uploading data from one of Black Mask's servers. I need codes to bypass a security door in the loading dock." While Batman was occupied, Spider-Man distracted himself by observing the pictures of all the assassins after them that were hanging on a nearby wall. Looking down at the desk below the photos, he saw folders of the names of certain individuals with the words, REJECTED, stamped on them. Some names he never heard of while others were familiar.

Geez. Rhino, Vulture, Shocker, All these guys were seriously considered for being hired? I wouldn't hire them to screw in a light bulb. Spider-Man thought to himself. However, there were more folders for more people named Cheshire, and David Cain.

While Spider-Man had been looking at the folders, Batman had found something that piqued his interest. "Interesting. Sionis had a pacemaker implanted. It says here he had Prolonged Q-T syndrome. Anything that raises his heart rate could trigger cardiac arrest." He said while a picture of a heart and an electrocardiogram appeared above his gauntlet. The images change to pictures of the Joker and his goons carrying barrels of chemicals. "Sionis was having the Joker followed. These photos show him obtaining chemicals used in making explosives. If we find Sionis, he'll know what The Joker's planning."

"Sir. I've found those security codes you were looking for. You have access to the building now." Alfred's voice interrupted.

Batman deactivated the holographic screen and turned to Spider-Man. "Let's go." Was he said before grappling up to the giant hole above the office and jumping back down to the lower floor? When Spider-Man landed next to him, Alfred suddenly called and gave Batman an update.

"Sir. Looking through Sionis' files, I found a reference to a chemical similar to the compound you need for your glue grenades. I'm going to try to synthesize it in our lab. If it works. I'll have a prototype for you as soon as the resin cures."

"Good. I'll need it. The more I learn about the Joker the more I realize, there's something very different about him."

After hacking into the security panel, the two opened the door to another room that had another set of steps. After putting one foot into the room, they heard some metal clanking and a shadow on the ground moving before disappearing.

"What was that?" Spider-Man asked.

"Not sure, but keep your guard up," Batman advised.

After opening the door at the top of the steps, the room they entered what looked like the warehouse of the building they saw Joker's crew carrying a box into a secret room disguised as a brick wall via a forklift. A few of them follow the forklift in while the rest stay behind and close the door.

"We'll need to find a way inside that room," Batman noted.

"Let's focus on the clowns first," Spider-Man responded.

"C'mon. Why are you messing with the crane? We're supposed to be locking this place down." One of the criminals said.

"Whatever man." The other nonchalantly responded.

"I'm serious, knock it off."

"Ok. Ok. Let me shut it down."

"Why we gotta lock this place down anyway? Joker expecting the cops?" Another mobster complained.

"I heard It ain't the cops he's worried about. It's the Bat and Spider."

"The Bat and Spider. Those guys for real?"

"Well, the boss seems to think so."

"Yeah, well the boss also thinks green and purple are an acceptable color combo."

"What are you tryin' to say?"

"The new boss is a little crazy, that's all."

"That's where you're wrong, man. Green is the new black."

While the men were talking, they didn't notice two figures hopping over the railing from the platform they were on, walking along the cargo container and jump on top of one of the mobsters, and punching him in the back of the head while he was down.

Even with the bats, guns, and car door shields the goons had at their disposal, they were no match for the duo as they were all taken down one by one. Spider-Man leaped in as he slid underneath one of their legs, allowing Batman the chance to glide down and slam and knock him out. Spider-Man used the opening to leap upward and swirled as he grabbed two of the goons and slammed them into the wall.

Suddenly, the hidden door opened up, revealing more henchmen and an armored enforcer.

"The Spider and Bat are here, people. Get ready." The enforcer said.

"Yes sir." Some of the goons reapplied

"I want him dead, you understand me? Deader than dead. He gets passed us and any of you that survive will wish you were deader than dead too." He threatened as the door closed behind him.

"I'll handle the big one while you take care of the rest," Batman told Spider-Man.

"Got it." He responded.

Batman swiftly used his cape to throw the man off balance and then launched a flurry of strikes, targeting various vulnerable points. Meanwhile, Spider-Man leaped into the air, shooting a web at the ceiling to send Joker's henchmen flying. Releasing the web, he swiftly fired two more webs toward the ground, immobilizing a nearby goon by driving his feet into the goon's chest.

After a series of well-placed blows, Batman managed to dismantle the enforcer's armor, exposing his vulnerability. Infuriated, the enforcer attempted to charge at the Caped Crusader, but Batman easily evaded the attack with a quick and graceful roll.

"You have got to teach me to do that!" Spider-Man cried.

One of Joker's men tried to throw a box at Spider-Man's head but the Wall Crawler saw it coming and quickly threw it back at him instead using a web. Next, he kicked the last criminal so hard he flew towards the ceiling, but before he could come back down he used his webs to stick him to the ceiling. After seeing that all of the goons were either webbed down or knocked out, he turned his attention back to the enforcer.

He noticed nearby barrels on his left and got an idea. After the enforcers turned towards him after receiving a roundhouse kick to the face by Batman, Spider-Man saw his chance and took it. Using a single web with both hands, he hurled a barrel at the enforcer's head. The barrel hit him so hard that he was knocked off his feet before falling hard onto the floor. He did not get back up.

Once they realized that all the thugs were unconscious, Batman moved towards the button near the hidden door that controls the crane. The crane moves fast enough to damage the wall above the door but is not able to break it. Spotting a ring on the back of the steel pipes the crane is carrying, Spider-Man uses a web to pull the pipes back and break through the wall.

"Now that's more like it," Spider-Man commented.

After the two reached the other side of the hole they made, they heard sinister female laughter and another shadow moving across the floor. Before either of them could question what that was they heard screams coming from below the elevator shaft in front of them.

"Get them out of me! Help! No! Oh. God! Please NO! Get out! Get out! Get AH!" A voice cried out in panic from the elevator that was coming up to them. Once the elevator reached them, the goon inside the elevator fell dead against the elevator wall. Leaving both heroes with one question.

"Who did this?" The two stared at the lifeless body, stunned at what had occurred right in front of them. "I'll use my evidence scanner to examine the body for clues and find out what happened," Batman said, finally breaking the silence.

"Right, and I'll just uh...I'll just get the elevator moving," Spider-Man said with a shaky voice, not over what he had just seen. By the time Spider-Man had pressed the button to get the elevator moving, Batman had already finished the scan and read the results out loud.

"No signs of assault… Hmm… His system shut down acute toxicity. He's been poisoned."

"Poisoned with what?"

"Not sure exactly, but it seems to be some sort of powerful neurotoxin. It's unlike anything I've seen before."

Soon the elevator came to a complete stop in front of double doors. On the other side, they could hear more of Joker's men talking. " He just lost it. Started clawin' at his skin and then he ran into the elevator."

"We should call for backup."

"So we can get laughed at cuz we can't handle our jobs? Hell, no."

The conversation seemed to end there before being picked up again after a few seconds. "I swear it was some kind of witchcraft or somethin'."

"We ain't gonna make it out here. None of us are."

"Not on your own two feet at least." Came a voice from behind the criminals. Two of them were too slow to react as Batman kicked one of the goon's legs out from under him and elbowed him in the chest as he was headed towards the ground while Spider-Man launched himself forward with a web and kicked the other goon in the face, sending him crashing into the ground.

Two more mobsters tried to punch them but were quickly countered with punches and kicks to their faces and stomach. Another criminal with body armor rushed towards Spider-Man and tried to get a lucky strike in from behind. However, his Spider senses saw it coming as Spider-Man ducked under the punch and shot a web towards his face. Before the thug could tear it off him, Spider-Man began striking him repeatedly in the gut and face before knocking him out with a single kick to the jaw.

Turning around, Spider-Man saw that Batman was finishing off the last man of the group by grabbing his arm, throwing him over his body, and twisting his arm at an unnatural angle.

Once they were done, they walked up the small set of stairs before them and unlocked the doors using Batman's Cryptographic Sequencer. Once they walked through to the other side, they noticed from the "decorations" of the room that this was Black Mask's former drug lab. Getting on the advantage points above them, the two noted that there were eight armed men while 2 were guarding a double door around the far left area. From the other side of the doors, they could hear Black Mask.

"Let me out of here!"

"Whaddya say, Joe, should we let him out?" Asked one of the guards near the door.

"Let me think. He did give us that raise he promised us. Oh, wait. No, he never did. That's right. How could I have forgotten?" The other one replied.

"When I get out of here, I'm going to kill both of you, slowly. With my own hands." Sionis shouted.

The two noticed that their Detective Vision was being jammed by someone nearby. Batman silently maneuvered around the room till he was right behind the guard and knocked him out silently while also destroying the jammer.

Spider-Man silently crept up behind a guard on the walkway surrounding the storage tank. Once he was close enough, he used a web to pull the thug towards him. The momentum caused the thug to fall to the ground beside Spider-Man, who punched him in the face twice before webbing him to the ground and leaping back into the shadows.

Another guard had unfortunately walked underneath the fox stature that Batman was perched on, and quickly dived down and grabbed him. The man shouted in surprise as Batman held him above the ground by the throat before releasing him. Luckily for the guard, Batman had attached a rope to his leg that connected to the guard. The thug screamed in fear as other guards were alerted to the sound. Arriving at the spot, the goons could only find their stung-up companion and Batman nowhere in sight.

Two guards had decided to buddy up with each other, thinking it would lessen their chances of being taken by surprise if they watched each other's back. Suddenly, Spider-Man silently descended between the two from a web attached to the ceiling and rapped both men in web cocoons. He swiftly ascended back up to the ceiling, bringing both men with him, and attached them to the ceiling.

Batman noticed that a thug was walking near a propane tank and thought of an idea. Using the Remote Claw, He attached the propane tank to the back of the guard. The momentum of the tank caused it to explode on impact, knocking out the guard.

Batman dropped down on top of the nearby guard and quickly knocked him out. Before the last guard could investigate the noise, Spider-Man dropped down in front of him and shot a web over the barrel of the gun. He then started shooting him over and over again with webshots. The force of the webs caused the goon to back up until he felt his back touch the wall behind him. The last shot Spider-Man used stuck the guard to the wall.

Now that the guards were all gone, Spider-Man and Batman walked over to the doors that Black Mask was being held behind. On the other side was what looked to be an office. There were computer monitors on the left and a big fireplace in the center of the room. On the right side, was Black Mask suspended in the air by chains in some sort of stretcher.

"Get me outta this thing," Roman demanded as both heroes walked behind him.

"As you wish," Spider-Man said sarcastically.

Spider-Man unties the leather straps on their legs, causing him to hang there for a few seconds before his hands slip out of the chain cuffs. He falls to the ground with a small grunt before Batman rolls him onto his side.

"Where's the Joker?" Batman demands.

"Go to hell."

"Wrong answer," Batman says before he starts kicking him repeatedly.

Unbeknownst to them, someone was sneaking around the shadows making their way into the room silently.

"By my count, there are still nine more ribs I can break," Batman says before kicking him again. Having seen enough, Spider-Man steps between them. "Ok, that's enough, unless you want this to continue, tell us where he is Roman."

"You think that'll make me talk, after what he's put me through? The torture… Turned my men on me. Stole from me. Murdered my woman. He's my kill. Not yours."

Batman pulls up a holographic heart monitor on his gauntlet. "I can control your pacemaker remotely. Want to see what two hundred and fifty beats per minute feels like?"

He wouldn't. Spider-Man panicked internally. "Wait, let's just-" He stops mid-sentence when he feels a familiar tingling. "Spider-sense..."

Then all of a sudden, Spider-Man pushed Batman out of the way and an arrow came flying and impaled into Spider-Man's side. He fell down and groaned as he felt that the arrow was laced with something, causing him to fall to his knees in pain. Batman raced over to his side and looked around to figure out where the arrow came from. Then he heard what sounded like a spear being dragged to the ground.

Batman then saw who it was and snarled. "Kraven's here."

Kraven the Hunter, clad in his signature animal skins and armed with an array of deadly traps and weapons, steps into the moonlight, a confident grin on his face. "Ah, the Batman! The elusive Dark Knight. What an honor to finally face you. But tonight, you are nothing more than prey."

Batman looked over and saw that he wasn't going to get any help from the Spider hero. "What did you do to him?"

"Just a sample of the venom I procured from the Dubois' Sea Snake," Kraven tells him as they looked to see Copperhead's body laying in the shadows. "Something I procured from the Copperhead."

"You killed her?" Batman asks.

"Just another Hunter unworthy of my time," Kraven stated.

"Kill them and I'll pay you whatever you want. Make them suffer and I'll double it." Roman says as he limps towards the exit.

"Hmph. An empty promise from a fallen long. I know about the Joker." Kraven stated as he eyed Batman.

"Bunch a'freaks. You three deserve each other." Sionis scoffs before leaving.

Batman growled as he slowly tapped his comms. "Alfred, find me an antidote."

"Already on it, sir," Alfred tells him. "But, sir, please hurry. That venom acts quickly."

"This will only take a moment," Batman promises, preparing to fight. "So, you here to talk, or are you here to fight?"

With that, Kraven lunges forward, using his agility to leap over a stack of crates. Batman anticipates the move, sidestepping and delivering a swift kick that sends Kraven crashing into a pile of crates.

Kraven quickly rises, unphased, and draws a dagger from his belt, lunging at Batman. The Dark Knight blocks the strike with his forearm and counters with a quick jab to Kraven's midsection. Kraven stumbles back but quickly recovers, grinning as he searches for his prey while the moans of Spider-Man fill the air.

"Is that all you've got?" Kraven chuckled as he spun his spear.

Batman narrows his eyes and responds with a series of rapid punches, each one expertly dodged or blocked by Kraven, who counters with swift kicks and slashes of his dagger. The two engage in an intense back-and-forth, the sound of fists meeting flesh echoing in the warehouse.

Kraven uses the environment to his advantage, leaping onto a stack of crates and launching himself at Batman with a powerful kick. Batman rolls to the side, narrowly avoiding the blow, and throws a smoke bomb to obscure the area.

The smoke fills the warehouse, and Kraven's keen senses kick in. He sniffs the air, a smirk on his face as he tracks Batman's movements.

"Hiding in the shadows won't save you!" Kraven proclaimed as he looked around. "You're just a man beneath that cowl!"

Batman, now concealed in darkness, uses his stealth to maneuver around Kraven, preparing for a surprise attack. He activates his EMP device, disabling Kraven's hunting gadgets. Batman then emerged from the shadows.

"And you're just a man who thinks he can outsmart the night." Batman mocked.

With precision, Batman strikes, delivering a powerful blow to Kraven's jaw. The hunter staggers, but quickly recovers, using a grappling hook to swing onto a higher platform. Now on the platform, Kraven draws his bow, aiming an arrow tipped with an arrow likely laced with the same venom as the one he shot Spider-Man with at Batman.

Batman, anticipating the attack, throws a Batarang, knocking the arrow off course. Kraven's eyes widen in surprise as Batman leaps onto the platform with him, the two warriors grappling for dominance.

They tumble to the ground, exchanging blows, until Batman gains the upper hand, pinning Kraven to the floor. With a swift motion, he disarms Kraven and secures him in a set of handcuffs from his utility belt.

"You underestimated me," Batman stated. "Gotham doesn't need hunters like you terrorizing people."

Kraven, still defiant, smirks as he looks up at Batman. "Perhaps, but the thrill of the hunt... it's what I live for. This isn't over, Bat."

As sirens wail in the distance, Batman stands, casting one last glance at Kraven before disappearing into the shadows of the warehouse. He ran his way over towards Spider-Man and saw he was only getting worse.

"Alfred, you better have an antidote!" Batman said as he picked up Spider-Man and ran out where the Batwing was waiting to take them back to the Batcave.

But the strangest thing of all...Copperhead was missing?
