Gwen and Clarence were both visiting her parents for lunch one sunny day in Boston. Margarine goes to get the mail while Gwen, Clarence and Edgar socialized.

"So, how's everything?" Edgar asked.

"Pretty good papa. My business is booming with more art clients. Some rich people even hired me to perform my magic for their kid's birthday parties." Gwen answered.

"That's great dear. How about you Clarence?" Edgar asked.

"Oh, it's been amazing. My songs are a hit and almost all my shows are sold out each time." Clarence answered.

"Wonderful." Edgar complimented.

"Mail call!" Margarine called.

Margarine comes in with some mail.

"Gwen dear, you got something from your high school." Margarine said as she handed Gwen an envelope.

"If you'll excuse me, I have to check through my mail." Edgar said as he got up from his chair and joined Margarine in the living room.

Gwen was confused why her old high school would send her a letter. She opens it and reads it through. Her eyes widened and said,

"Oh no."

"What's wrong Gwen?" Clarence asked.

"My high school's hosting a little get-together for the students of my graduating class this Saturday evening. It's only been a year since I graduated." Gwen answered.

"Sounds like fun. You should go." Clarence encouraged her.

"Clarence, school was a very difficult time for me. I barely had any friends, and I was always bullied." Gwen sadly explained her high school past.

"Really? Oh my." Clarence said in shock.

"So, I'm gonna have to say 'no'. I don't wanna face my past." Gwen said.

"Aw come on Gwen. I've never been in a public school. Me and the other orphans were educated at the orphanage." Clarence explained his past.

"I'm sorry Clarence." Gwen said.

"Would it make you feel better if I went with you?" Clarence asked.

Gwen thought for a moment, then she decided to show Clarence what it was like for her in school.

"Alright. We'll go together." Gwen reluctantly agrees.

"Great. This oughta be interesting." Clarence said.

"Yeah… it will." Gwen hesitantly said.

Saturday evening came, Clarence and Gwen stepped through the door portal ready to attend the get-together. Edgar was kind enough to drive the couple to Brighton High School. Gwen and Clarence were dropped off as Gwen looked up at her old high school, feeling nervous. Clarence notices and held Gwen's hand.

"Hey, it'll be okay. Just be yourself." Clarence assured her.

Gwen sighed and held his arm. They both walked up to the entrance of the school and follow the hallways to the school auditorium. They handed their tickets to the attendant, and both entered the auditorium where tables and the stage was set up for the attending former students in Gwen's class.

"So, you see anybody you know?" Clarence asked.

But Gwen didn't answer as she held Clarence close to her, feeling nervous.

"Hey, it'll be okay." Clarence assured her.

"I dunno honey. Maybe we should go." Gwen said worryingly.

Just then, a jazz band started playing music and couples got on the dance floor to dance.

"Hey, I know what'll cheer you up." Clarence said, getting an idea.

He takes Gwen to the dance floor, holds her in a dance position and started to dance. Gwen was nervous at first, but then she remembered she was with the man she loves and started to dance with him.

After dancing for a while, Gwen and Clarence sit at a table together, eating food provided for them.

"You know, you were right. The only reason this night's been good so far was because of you." Gwen admitted.

"I figured it'd be okay." Clarence said.

Suddenly, Gwen looked over and saw three familiar faces and gasped. Gwen ducked down below her table. Clarence looked confused and looked at three beautiful women socializing in the crowd.

"What's wrong Gwen?" Clarence asked.

"Get down! They'll see us!" Gwen whispered.

Gwen grabbed his shirt and pulled him down with her.

"It's those high school bullies! The Queens of Diamonds!" Gwen whispered.

"Queens of Diamonds?" Clarence asked.

"They're the teen royals of our class and the meanest girls you will ever meet!" Gwen answered.

"Oh boy." Clarence said worryingly.

"See that black haired girl? That's Shirley Miller. She's popular because her mom is a big shot singer at the jazz club. And she's a huge clean freak. She once insulted my clothes just because I got a little paint on them in art class." Gwen explained, wincing at that memory.

"Oh my." Clarence said.

"See that brunette one? That's Evelyn Harris. Her dad is a very rich oil business owner. And she is very nosy on everybody's business. She once found out about my secret about me having a crush on the high school football star Anthony King and told everybody about it." Gwen explained once again wincing.

"Wait, you had a crush on the football star?" Clarence asked confused.

"Yeah, I was only 15 years old then. I didn't know you then." Gwen assured him.

"Oh. Well, even I had some crushes when I was younger too, but they didn't work out either." Clarence admitted.

Gwen gasped at their leader of their clique.

"Oh no!" Gwen exclaimed.

"Who's the blonde one?" Clarence asked.

"That's their self-proclaimed leader. The worst, rottenest, selfish, back-stabbing, nastiest shrew you will ever meet in your life: Judith Jackson. Don't be fooled by her beauty. She's been voted the most beautiful girl in school, and she was elected Prom Queen at the high school prom with Anthony as Prom King and has been dating him for a while. She now works as a model for some fashion company. I'll never forget the time she spilled all my ink bottles in art class and ruined my entry for the cartoon contest and said that that artwork belongs in the garbage can like I do, and people laughed at me." Gwen explained her worst memory.

"Woah. That's awful." Clarence said.

Gwen facepalmed and had a few tears.

"Gwen, I know it's none of my business, but how did you manage to get through high school?" Clarence asked.

"I just focused on getting good grades and followed my passion by winning art competitions and state fairs. Even though, it was never enough for papa since he never approved of what I did." Gwen said.

"Oh. And then the magic inkwell happened?" Clarence asked.

"Yes. You cracked the case Sherlock." Gwen jokingly said.

Clarence and Gwen giggled.

"Well, why don't we dance some more? That'll cheer you up." Clarence offered.

"Okay." Gwen said.

Both get up from their table and prepared to go back to the dance floor until Gwen heard a familiar voice.

"Well, look what the cat dragged in."

Gwen cringed and both turned around to see Judith approaching her with Evelyn and Shirley.

"Yeah, herself!" Gwen scolded.

"Hmm. I see you haven't changed… for an art-loving squat like you." Judith insulted as Evelyn and Shirley giggled.

"You should've stayed disappeared." Evelyn insulted.

"Yeah, everyone was better off without you." Shirley added.

"Hey, knock it off you jerks!" Clarence scolded.

"And who might you be handsome?" Judith asked.

"The names Clarence. And I don't appreciate you twits picking on my girlfriend!" Clarence angrily said.

"Ooh, tough guy. Why are you with a four-eyed loser like her? She's so out of your league." Judith asked.

"You know what? I don't care what you girls think. You don't know Gwen like I do. I love her so why don't you foolish broads go mind your own beeswax? Come on Gwen." Clarence scolded and led Gwen away.

Judith scoffed at Clarence standing up to her.

"Are you gonna let him talk to you like that?" Evelyn asked.

"He's so handsome. I don't get why that loser Gwen is with a gorgeous guy like him?" Shirley asked.

"Yeah, he's probably rich too." Evelyn assumed.

"I'll be right back." Judith said and walked to the dance floor.

Gwen and Clarence were both dancing, trying to get over their encounter with the Queens of Diamonds.

"Wow Gwen, you were right about them." Clarence admitted.

"Yeah, they would take every opportunity to bully me just because I wore glasses and I love art." Gwen said.

Just then, Gwen is pulled away by a tall brunette, muscular man who was her former high school crush Anthony King.

"Hey! What's the big idea?" Clarence asked Anthony.

"I just wanna reacquaint with Gwen. It'll be a moment." Anthony said and took Gwen away.

Clarence stood there puzzled until Judith approached him.

"So, now that you're alone, wanna dance handsome?" Judith asked flirtingly.

"No thanks. I'm waiting for Gwen. Don't know what that big jerk took her for." Clarence answered.

"Aw come on handsome. You deserve someone so much better than that art freak." Judith said as she drew closer to Clarence.

Clarence grew nervous and started to back away.

"Are you trying to hit on me?" Clarence asked suspiciously.

"Come on baby, lets dance." Judith said as she attempted to take Clarence's hands and dance with him until he stopped her.

"I'm gonna stop you right there. I'm not interested in you. I can't believe Gwen was right about you." Clarence said angrily.

"What's going on here?" Gwen asked as she returned.

"Oh, he was hitting on me. I tried to stop him, but he was out of control. We even got to know each other." Judith lied.

"Oh really?" Gwen asked in disbelief.

Clarence looked at Gwen nervously.

"If what you say is true, then can you tell me where he grew up?" Gwen asked.

"Um, his rich parents house. Yeah." Judith answered.

"Do you know what he does for a living?" Gwen asked.

"Oh, um. He's a big shot salesman?" Judith answered.

Clarence smirked, realizing where Gwen was going with this.

"And… where does he live?" Gwen asked.

"Well, um…" Judith struggled to answer.

"Exactly. How dare you try to break up our relationship! You told your stupid excuse of a boyfriend to hit on me while you hit on Clarence!" Gwen angrily revealed.

"Baby! She duped me and caught on to me!" Anthony said as he came running.

"Anthony!" Judith yelled.

Clarence looked at Judith angrily.

"Just as I thought. The Jester of Liars. Just like your dumb boyfriend." Clarence insulted Judith.

"Hey watch it pretty-boy wannabe!" Anthony warned.

"You never change. You think you deserve everything and now you've grown jealous of me for a handsome, loving boyfriend. Your heart is full of filth Judith. You are so mean that you think everybody loves you when the truth is everybody hates you! It's no wonder so many people turned their backs on you! It's your own fault!" Gwen ranted.

Judith gasped in horror as Clarence smiled at Gwen.

"That's my girl." Clarence said proudly.

"Clarence, we're leaving!" Gwen said as she took his hand.

"This is why I love Gwen. She has a beautiful heart and soul. Which you lack." Clarence smirked at Judith.

Both Gwen and Clarence leave the school. Gwen secretly teleported themselves back to Clarence's apartment.

"Gwen, I'm so sorry. You were right, we never should've gone. I should've listened." Clarence apologized.

"No, it's okay. I just wanted you to see it for yourself. What it was like for me every day in high school." Gwen admitted.

"I had no idea you had it hard. I know you and your parents weren't on good terms before, but this was more horrible." Clarence admitted.

"Yeah. This is why after the Devil kidnapped me, the cups found me, and Elder Kettle took me in; I never wanted to go back to that miserable life. I longed to be free and be loved for being myself. I guess got my wish that day when I found the magic inkwell." Gwen said.

"Well, I too wanted a better life somewhere else and a family. I got my wish when I met you. It's like fate sent you to me. And I'll never forget that." Clarence said as he wrapped his arm around Gwen.

Gwen smiled and sunk her head in his chest.

"You're right. Fate brought us together. I'm so grateful having the cups, Elder Kettle, Ms. Chalice and you in my life. My life has never been happier." Gwen said.

"And my life's happier because of you too. I haven't had a single lonely day after I met you. So, let us both put our painful pasts behind us." Clarence suggested.

"I couldn't agree more." Gwen agreed.

They both kissed and held each other.

"Well, I better get home. I'll talk to you later. Love you." Gwen said as she prepared to leave.

"I love you too." Clarence said.

Gwen disappeared back to the cottage and went upstairs to bed.

The next day after breakfast, Gwen was sketching in her sketchbook in the living room. Cuphead and Mugman once again brawl against each other, to her unamusement.

"Will you two stop fighting?!" Elder Kettle yelled.

Both cups stop fighting as Gwen shook her head.

"Yes, Elder Kettle." Both cups said sadly.

Elder Kettle went outside to water his garden as he grumbled.

Both cups turn their attention to Gwen.

"So, Gwen, how'd your high school thing go last night?" Cuphead asked.

"I don't wanna talk about it." Gwen answered.

Both cups join her on the couch.

"What happened Gwen? Did the Devil happen again?" Mugman asked.

"No." Gwen answered.

Both cups give Gwen the puppy dog eye look.

"Guys not the faces! No!" Gwen scolded.

But both cups continued anyway.

"Ugh! Fine! Clarence and I ran into my high school bullies!" Gwen snapped.

Both cups gasped.

"You were bullied?" Mugman asked.

"Why would anyone do that to you?" Cuphead asked.

"Three mean girls bullied me my whole high school life. That's why I didn't wanna go because I knew they'd be there." Gwen admitted.

"I'm sorry Gwen." Mugman said, feeling sympathetic.

"Thanks, Mugsy." Gwen said.

"Why don't you get back at those bullies?" Cuphead asked.

"What? No! That's crazy!" Gwen protested.

"Aw come on Gwen. You pranked the Devil lots of times. So, why don't you prank those meanies? You know? Give them a taste of their own medicine?" Cuphead asked.

Gwen thought for a moment.

"You know, maybe you're right Cuphead. Maybe pranking Judith, Evelyn and Shirley will teach them a lesson." Gwen said, agreeing with Cuphead's suggestion.

"We'll help you anyway we can." Cuphead said.

"No, thanks Cuphead. I know them, so I know what would really ruin them." Gwen said.

"Okay. If you change your mind, let us know." Cuphead said.

"Gwen, are you sure about this?" Mugman asked.

"Yeah, I want them to suffer as I have suffered." Gwen said.

"Oh boy." Mugman said.

Gwen got out her sketchbook and sketched possible ideas and remembered their weaknesses. Shirley is afraid of germs and filth. Evelyn is afraid of her secrets being revealed. And Judith's biggest weakness is losing all her beauty.

Then, Gwen happened upon a clever idea.

"Hmm, there's that abandoned old house not far from the school. If I could lure the Queens of Diamonds there, they'd have the scariest night of their lives!" Gwen snickered.

"Oh Gwen? Would you mind running to town to pick up the fertilizer I ordered?" Elder Kettle called as he poked his head in the doorway.

"Sure, Elder Kettle." Gwen agreed.

She tapped her ink pen and disappeared to the flower shop. Gwen picked up Elder Kettle's order of a huge bag of fertilizer. Before Gwen heads home, she looked over at the cemetery. Gwen winced at the memories of the three ghosts Duke, Emma and Jasper kidnapping her, stealing her soul and scaring her. Gwen debated of asking the ghosts for help, but she wasn't sure.

She nervously approached the gates of the cemetery and hesitated to enter. Gwen quickly turned away to head back home until felt a cold chill blowing around her. Then she felt something tickling her back. Finally, she noticed the bag of fertilizer floating in the air. Suddenly, the bag was hurled at her, making her jump out of the way and fell to the ground.

Gwen breathed heavily and realized she was once again being tormented.

"Real funny you vexatious ghosts!" Gwen yelled.

Duke, Emma and Jasper revealed themselves and look down at Gwen.

"You catch on quick kiddo. Impressive." Duke said.

"You should've seen the look on your face!" Emma said, laughing.

"Hello again little girl." Jasper waved.

Then, Jasper lifted Gwen up on her feet.

"What are you guys doing here?" Gwen asked.

"We should be asking you the same question." Duke answered.

"You looked like you were looking for us, then you walked away." Emma said sternly.

"Yeah. Are you looking for a playdate?" Jasper asked.

Duke slapped Jasper.

"No. How's grandpa doing?" Gwen asked.

"Oh, he's doing great kiddo. He misses you, but he wanted us to tell you 'He's proud of you and he loves you.'" Duke answered.

"And he's a wonderful fourth player for our card games." Emma said.

"Go fish!" Jasper said until Duke slapped him again.

"Thanks guys. Well, I better get going. I got a scary prank to pull." Gwen as she magically levitated the bag of fertilizer and prepared to leave.

Suddenly, she is stopped by the ghosts.

"Wait, did you say you're planning a scary prank?" Duke asked.

"Uh, yes?" Gwen hesitantly answered.

"Ooh, what kind of scary prank?" Emma asked, now interested.

"Well, I'm planning to get back at some high school bullies for bullying me and for hurting me last night. So, I'm gonna use this abandoned old house near my high school to prank them." Gwen explained.

"Ooh! Sounds fun!" Jasper said.

"Did you come here to ask us for help?" Duke asked, figuring it out.

"Well, yeah but I thought you guys wouldn't be interested. I remember what you guys taught me. I'll figure it out." Gwen said as she prepared to leave.

"Wait kiddo. We could offer our services if… there was something in it for us." Duke offered.

"What do you guys want?" Gwen asked.

"We want someone to scare! It's been so boring lately." Emma answered.

"BOO!" Jasper tried to scare Gwen until Duke slapped him.

"So, you guys will help me if I bring someone to the cemetery for you and your ghost friends to scare?" Gwen asked, trying to understand.

"Why, yes kiddo. So, whaddya say? We got a deal?" Duke asked as he reached his hand out for a handshake.

Gwen hesitated, knowing Duke always had tricks up his sleeve.

"Come on kiddo it's okay." Duke assured her.

Gwen nervously reaches her hand and shakes his hand, only for a few spiders to crawl on her hand, making the ghosts snicker.

"Ha ha. Very funny." Gwen sarcastically said as she shook the spiders off her hand.

"So, where is this haunted house of yours?" Emma asked.

"In the human world near the school I attended." Gwen answered.

The trio of ghosts gasped.

"The human world?" Jasper asked.

"Things just got more interesting." Emma said excitedly.

"Can you take us there kiddo?" Duke asked.

"Yes, but first I gotta drop this bag off. Hold on." Gwen said.

She disappeared back to the cottage, dropped off the bag of fertilizer and reappeared back to the ghosts.

"Ooh! Ahh!" All three ghosts said, impressed at Gwen's powers.

"Alright. Let's go." Gwen said.

She tapped her ink pen and the group disappeared to the old, abandoned house she spoke about. The ghosts are awestruck at their surroundings and look around.

"Wow, this place is creepy! I love it!" Duke said, admiring the old house.

"This place will do quite nicely." Emma complimented.

"Who are we gonna scare?" Jasper asked.

"About that, I'm luring three young human girls my age to this place. I sent them invitations to a 'lavish, cool party at this address. Once they enter, the doors will be locked to prevent them from escaping. That's where you guys come in. Have your fun with them." Gwen explained the plan.

"Ooh, sounds scary!" Duke complimented.

"But, if you guys really wanna scare the pants off of them, you need to know their biggest fears." Gwen pointed out.

"Tell us! Please?" Jasper pleaded.

Gwen gestured them to huddle up as Gwen whispered their fears to them.

"That'll be easy as pie!" Duke said.

"We can do it!" Emma agreed.

Just then, Jasper noticed something out the window.

"Ooh! Someone's coming!" Jasper exclaimed.

Gwen looked out the window and realized the Queens of Diamonds were approaching.

"They're here! I better set the trap!" Gwen said.

"This is so exciting!" Emma said happily.

"Just lock the doors and leave the rest to us kiddo!" Duke said.

Gwen nodded as she shapeshifted into her ghost form. The three ghosts fly off to hide as Gwen gets ready by using her ink pen to make loud jazz music playing and made flashing lights appear to make the party convincing.

Outside the house, the Queens of Diamonds were approaching in nice party dresses.

"This is gonna be so much fun!" Evelyn said.

"I hope it's clean and sanitary." Shirley said.

"We'll see how this party goes. I have a photoshoot tomorrow." Judith said.

They approach the house, open the door and think they've arrived at the party. Suddenly, the illusion was pulled away, revealing the old house.

"What the? What's going on here?" Evelyn asked.

"This place is a dump! We should go!" Shirley said.

"Right with you girls." Judith said.

But as they turn to leave, the door slams shut and locked. Judith tried opening the door, but it wouldn't budge.

"Okay, something's not right here." Judith said.

"Oh no, we're trapped! We'll never get out of here!" Shirley said, feeling scared.

"What are we gonna do?" Evelyn asked.

"I swear whoever's behind this is going to suffer bigtime! I will ruin their life!" Judith said angrily.

"Wait, isn't this the old house that's rumored to be haunted?" Evelyn asked.

"Oh no. This place is unsanitary!" Shirley said, freaking out.

Just then, they hear moaning noises, startling them.

"W-w-w-what was that?" Shirley asked.

"Probably some stupid kids pranking us." Judith guessed.

"What are we gonna do?" Evelyn asked again.

"I don't know about you two, but I'm gonna find a way out. You two find your own way out! I need to get home and get my beauty sleep for my photoshoot tomorrow!" Judith snapped and left her two friends alone.

"B-b-but!" Shirley protested but Judith was gone.

Evelyn started to freak out and runs upstairs. Shirley was left all alone, feeling scared.

In the dining room, Judith tries opening the windows, but they were locked. Suddenly she heard a floorboard creak. Then, she felt something messing up her hair.

"Hey! Who's there?! It's not funny!" Judith yelled.

Suddenly, she felt the rug underneath her pulled out, making her fall to the ground. Just then, Jasper revealed himself looking down at Judith.

"Hello little girl." Jasper said as he waved.

Judith stared at Jasper in horror and started screaming.

Upstairs, Evelyn was looking for a way out until she suddenly felt a cold chill blowing around her.

"Ooh, that's freezing! Maybe there's a window open." Evelyn guessed.

She checks every room for an open window, only to find messages written on the wall of various secrets such as 'Evelyn has a love for knitting,' 'Evelyn is secretly terrified of working,' and 'Evelyn feels beneath Judith in popularity.'

Evelyn starts freaking out until Emma reveals herself holding a lipstick.

"Wow, all those secrets are so interesting!" Emma taunted.

Evelyn started screaming and ran off.

Back in the main hall, Shirley is left all alone huddled in a corner. Suddenly a splash of dirt hit her face and dress.

"Hey! I just got cleaned! I don't wanna get dirty! That's not funny!" Shirley complained.

Suddenly a voice snickered then spoke to her,

"I thought it was pretty funny. And you think I care if you just got cleaned?" Duke asked as he revealed himself.

Shirley slowly turned around and saw Duke giving her a sinister look. He pulls off his head cap and bowed to her.

"Top of the evening love." Duke greeted, exposing his brain as spiders crawled all around him.

Shirley started screaming, got up from the corner and ran away. All three girls unknowingly meet up on the first floor.

"We gotta get outta here!" Judith yelled.

"Girls! I saw a…!" Evelyn said until Shirley interrupted,

"G-G-G-GHOSTS!"

Duke, Emma and Jasper appear before the Queens of Diamonds as they all held each other fearfully.

The three ghosts started singing their creepy song about ghosts not being real as the girls try to make a run for it. But everywhere they turn, the ghosts keep scaring them with their tricks. Meanwhile, Gwen magically makes the old furniture come to life and scares the girls. The girls run upstairs to try to find a way out.

"Where's the way out?" Shirley asked.

"I don't know!" Judiith yelled.

Emma approached the girls with a door.

"Here's the way out." Emma said calmly.

Evelyn opens the door, only to find the students at her high school talking about her darkest secrets, making her scream as Emma laughed. Duke approached them with another door.

"Here, try this one." Duke said.

Shirley opened the door, only to find a dump and garbage piles all around, making her scream.

"Over here. Over here." Jasper said, holding another door.

Judith opened the door, only to find a reflection of herself in an ugly-like appearance, making her scream.

The girls once again run away from the ghosts as they tempted them with more doors. Then, they see a light at the end of the tunnel and jump for it. The girls crash through a window and fall down, only for Gwen to levitate them safely on the ground.

Gwen possesses an old tree and gives a frightening roar for the grand finale.

The girls run away screaming for their lives as Gwen exits the tree and the ghosts were laughing uncontrollably.

"That was awesome guys!" Gwen said, laughing.

"It sure was kiddo! Those ninnies were so easy to scare!" Duke said.

"Yeah! I had fun!" Jasper said.

"And that last part earned you another A+" Emma complimented.

"Alright, shall we head back home?" Gwen asked.

"Yes please." The ghosts answered.

Gwen tapped her ink pen and disappeared back to the cemetery in the Inkwell Isles.

"Okay, that was fun, but I gotta get home. It's very late." Gwen said as she prepared to leave.

"Not so fast kiddo. We held up our part of the bargain! The night's still young for us!" Duke reminded her.

"I know, your next victim is approaching right now." Gwen said pointing to the gates.

The ghosts look and saw the local resident Telephone hopping with a suitcase of brushes.

"I sent him a note saying there were customers here that were interested in his brushes." Gwen explained.

"Oh." All three ghosts said.

"Perfect." Emma said.

"Alright then fellas, let's go get ready!" Duke said.

Emma and Jasper snickered and flew off to take their places.

"Thanks again Duke." Gwen thanked.

"No problem kiddo!" Duke said as he tousled Gwen's hair.

"Tell grandpa 'Hi' for me." Gwen said as she tapped her ink pen and disappeared back home.

Gwen happily gets ready for bed and crawled under the covers, satisfied with her revenge against the Queens of Diamonds.

The next day, Gwen gets ready for the day, eats breakfast with Elder Kettle and the cups and meets up with Clarence.

Gwen and Clarence head back to the human world to take a stroll around town.

"So, how are you feeling love?" Clarence asked.

"Much better." Gwen answered.

"That's great. So, what do you wanna…?" Clarence asked until a group of people gossip about the Queens of Diamonds.

Judith's modeling career was ruined after showing up to the photoshoot all messy. Evelyn's secrets were out and is afraid to show her face in public. Shirley spent all night trying to clean herself. All three girls claimed to see ghosts at the abandoned house, only for them to be laughed at, making them the laughingstocks of the high school.

"Wow, their lives are now ruined huh?" Clarence asked.

"Seems like it." Gwen said, pretending to not know anything.

Just then, the Queens of Diamonds approach the couple.

"Hey Gwen? You got a minute?" Shirley asked.

Gwen folded her arms and gave them a stern look.

"What?" Gwen asked angrily.

"We just wanted to say we're sorry for the way we've treated you. For many years we thought you were just a cartoon-loving loser." Evelyn said.

Gwen gave them a stern look.

"We've had a horrifying night last night and now everybody's laughing at us." Judith said.

"So, how does it feel when you get laughed at and judged?" Gwen asked angrily.

"It uh… it really hurts." Evelyn answered.

"Yeah? That's how you three always made me feel when you three laughed at me and hurt my feelings!" Gwen said.

"We know. We're sorry Gwen. Can you ever forgive us?" Judith asked.

Gwen sighed and looked at Clarence. He gives her an unsure look.

"I wish you girls luck but forgive you? I don't know. I hope one day I can." Gwen said as she and Clarence leave.

Both humans leave the Queens of Diamonds alone and head back home to the Inkwell Isles. Clarence and Gwen kiss as he heads back to his apartment. Gwen heads back to the cottage when she hears a familiar voice call her.

"Gwen!"

Gwen turned around and saw her FBI friend Kai-Ming.

"Kai-Ming! What brings you by?" Gwen asked.

"You got a minute?" Kai-Ming asked.

"Yeah, why?" Gwen asked.

"Let's take a stroll, we need to talk." Kai-Ming said.

"Uh, okay." Gwen said, figuring she might be in trouble.

Both women walk into the forest.

"You know, word has it that three young teenage girls from your high school were found screaming and running for their lives and claimed to have seen 'ghosts' at that old house." Kai-Ming explained.

"Oh yeah. There was something going around earlier in Boston today." Gwen said, pretending to be surprised.

"Gwen, did you have something to do with it? I'm well aware you and those three girls attended the same high school and I believe you were not on good terms with them." Kai-Ming said.

"Yes, I did. They were my high school bullies. Judith tried to steal Clarence from me, and Evelyn and Shirley helped her." Gwen sadly explained.

"Gwen, I thought we discussed the matter of bringing any of your toon friends to the human world. Those ghosts could've been seen and then people would've known about the cartoon world!" Kai-Ming scolded.

"I know! I know! But it was just for a prank to get back at them for all those years of bullying me!" Gwen said defensively.

"Gwen, I'm sorry they've hurt you. But pranking them and ruining their lives isn't the answer! You are better than that!" Kai-Ming said.

"I'm sorry. It won't happen again." Gwen said, feeling guilty.

"Good. You know, the Devil made good on his threat to my boss about anybody else knowing about the Inkwell Isles." Kai-Ming said, recalling a painful memory.

"I know. He's even gotten on my case about it before." Gwen said, recalling bringing other humans like Rose, Clarence, Kizzy, Kai-Ming herself and more recently Akilah.

"But at least nobody believed those three girls with the ghosts. We'll let it pass. I'll monitor them to make sure they don't discover this world." Kai-Ming said.

"Okay, I just don't want anything to do with them anymore." Gwen said.

"That's fine. Just promise me no more shenanigans with any of your toon friends." Kai-Ming explained her condition.

"I promise." Gwen reluctantly agreed.

"Alright. We gotta keep this world safe." Kai-Ming reminded her.

Gwen nodded and both headed back to the cottage. Kai-Ming took off to Inkwell City to study the cartoon world some more while Gwen rejoined the cups and Elder Kettle. Gwen learned her lesson about bringing toons to the human world. Gwen goes back to her art studio and finds her assistant Akilah running the shop and selling her fashion.
