During the waking hours at Traverse, Leon, Riku and a duo of Sneasels were up and listening to a report from Sora and Kairi. The Alolan groaned sharply, definitely waking up. "Not another one, why didn't you wake me up?" Riku was agreeing with the youngster. "We might have actually captured that pokemon too!" Kairi had a counter point, about as grouchy as the others. "Do you really want to fight more Crystalmences? If you know what we're doing, would you have gone through with it?"
Riku felt the sting of defeat. "Salamence sounds like one bad tempered pokemon and I wouldn't have bought it unless Oswald gave the idea to your others. One of us needs to check and make sure that was a good idea, I'd trust Roxas and Namine as much as I trust you guys. But it's the thing about the crystals and Denryk that I'm skeptical about."
Leon sighed. "I'll do it, it wouldn't hurt if Jumba had a fast update on the two missing pokemon." He squinted his eyes, having an idea he's about to run into strange new people. "Now, what am I about to deal with?"
The Destiny Trio cringed at a long winded story and Riku thought to make it as short as possible. "Remember when you compared Roxas and Namine to Shedinjas?" Leon nodded. "I remember and they said I was closer to the mark than I thought."
Riku felt that was a start. "So close that it's a bullseye. Over a year ago, something happened to Sora and Kairi that caused this anomaly to be born from them. Something called a Nobody. Normally, they happen when a strong willed person loses their heart and the body doesn't give way." Leon realized. "Ooooh! So those two came at a different circumstance, becoming not quite so hollow like the others?"
Riku nodded. "Yeah, a lot of Nobodies are desperate to get a heart back and are selfish enough to steal one from others. Making them some of the most dangerous people to be around. But not these two, instead they gave and they reunited with their others. Becoming a lot more in the end. Kens... or Kendry's was born from a different circumstance. When an evil old man took his heart when he wasn't looking and we-" He addressed himself, Sora and Kairi. "Had to go rescue him. That will wasn't going to let go and his other did us a really huge favor while we were trying to stop the universe from imploding. That was when we freed Ken's heart, along with more of our friends. Ken got his body back and his other surrendered with no trouble. But, Roxas and Namine were on their own for a year."
Leon connected why the third is a problem. "While Denryk came to be for the shortest amount of time. He never had the chance to grow and learn, so-" He turned to Sora and Kairi. "If you can still feel Roxas and Namine inside you, then they're still sharing that heart and the experiences with you. The same can be said about Kendry and Denryk. The problem is Denryk is learning how to act on his own. All the more reason to see how he's starting. Because if he's going to catch a pokemon, that pokemon needs to be comfortable being around him."
It made sense to the team leader. "While you do that, the rest of us will head to the Kings Town, to give a report and see if we can have that thing you've been wanting to learn, looked at. We'll be heading to the Bastion afterwards, to pass along the details. A pokemon that looks like a mega form sounds way too on the nose to be a coincidence." Leon agreed with that. "There's been some theories on certain pokemon having a hidden gene awakened by the phenomenon. From Aerodactyl becoming like he was before becoming a fossil, to Ampharos having a dragon gene that explains the added type and one majestic mane. What I'm worried about is why is it that Roaring Moon's entry is so vague."
At the mention, Terra arrived, looking like he had to wrestle a bear to get her to wake up. Beside him was Obstagoon and the Cadet. They were wide away, regardless. "You guys are actually up?" Riku nodded as he sent something through the phone. "As soon as Darter was getting up and was causing some mischief. We got some things to do before we head out to the next world, get this update in your dex."
Terra gave it a check and read out loud. "Roaring Moon?!" He noticed something. "Wait a minute." He checked the logs on the other four pokemon and asked the expert. "Leon, is it weird that these pokemon all have the same kind of eyes?" The youngster nodded. "Very, anyone who's good at figuring things out, needs to know about this." The grown up considered that worth while advise. "Is that why you're all staying around here for a few hours?" Leon relayed the mission. "I have to check Twilight Town, while the others are visiting the Kings place. Who are you going to come along with?"
Terra shook his head. "Neither, Ienzo's got to know that this isn't a coincidence." He took a deep breath. "And I need to visit that place with those who don't know." The Destiny were quite surprised and had a smile of pride in the grown up. Leon, who doesn't know the whole story, was impressed for a different reason. "The locals are going to flip when they see all those pokemon." Terra was imagining that place getting more lively, even compared to a race he heard about. "That too. Who ever is finished first, should head over, just in case."
At a dim room in a mansion.
Roxas felt himself waking up to a rising of morning light, realizing he's wasn't actually dreaming of the previous night. Charcadet was already awake and was warming himself up for the day as the Schemy Murkrow was leaving a nest made out of glimmering baubles and swooped down to peck on Dupmic's head. The Replica looked to be at peace for that moment, even as the Murkrow was giving light pecks. Denryk turned in his sleep and looked even more peaceful, spending a night under warmth could be a factor to it. The squad leader looked downward and found Namine resting by him, looking the most angelic out of the bunch, it was tempting to let the rest happen for another hour, even if Charcadet's exercise was an indicator that they need to wake up. Namine was keeping a grip, not wanting the rest to end and caused the squad leader to whisper. "Hey, it's morning."
Namine wiggled her lips and sat up, stretching a yawn as she let herself awaken. The two caught the smell of mildew and the witch asked. "This really isn't a dream, isn't it?" Had a hand covering her mouth as Roxas looked out the door. "The moment we get out there, people will recognize us. What are we to do?" Namine thought into the plan. "Since this place has a little bit of power left, let's use it to start our day. Let's get the rain off and get our stuff dry."
Dupmic was waking up to the right pecking and had a sight of the bird flying over to avoid being detected, he played along and felt that morning breath. He over heard and sat up. "Mmm. I guess Denryk and I can get some supplies that will last us the day." Denryk heard that and rolled to get off of the couch, he slumped upward and headed to where he put his prosthetic. "I'm up, I'm up."
He picked the arm up and reattached it. "We're going to use that as our way to figure out what we gotta do and how much of it?" Namine gave a quick clap to make the Poipole stir. "That too."
The Ultra Beast woke up to the day light and flew off so fast that Scraggy fell awake and jumped in a daze. The hoodlum grumbled in a foul mood that Denryk didn't care much for. Dupmic used the disorganized air to play a team leader and advised. "If we have an issue with some pokemon in the town, we'll handle it. This is mostly a recon."
Denryk nodded and gave a smirk. "We can start with the guys around the mansion and with that, we'll be able to take the fight over to the town!" Dupmic felt a mind in sync and whistled to call upon the Schemy Murkrow. "Well, we are the most presentable." Denryk lifted his head up, knowing there isn't anything to argue about. The boys headed out with Schemy perching onto Dupmic's shoulder and the Scraggy tagging along frantically.
Leading the couple alone and picking each others foul scent. The duo got up as Charcadet marched around to give a search, Roxas called to him. "Hey, wait up it's easy to get-" He realized the mansion likely doesn't have hot water. "Charcadet, hold it!" The boy followed him. "This place is old, but it isn't that old! We can get by if the water doesn't work right. But our clothes is a different story. Once we're out there, we need to know how well we can fight together before we talk about the thing we found."
Charcadet turned his head sideways and guessed. (It's the other set of armor! Your bag doesn't hide it. You know that armor's different compared to the one my brother has, right?) Namine was about to set off and knew what was asked. "We've heard, the cursed armor that let's you evolve into Ceruledge. We'll be cool with that, but there are people around here who won't. There's a temperament we'll need for that." Roxas knew just the solution. "And it can only be done with we have more of us around. Now let's get to exploring!"
At Twilight Town.
Leon was allowed to be in the confines of the rustic town by himself, with Kilokilo keeping by for a personal escort. The two searched high and low in the civilized town, finding a distant Starly flying by and a brown fur Raticate that was happily gnawing on a lamp post. Evidence that who ever was placed in charge of dealing with the invasive problem wasn't quite competent. He had a glimpse of a strange light over at the deeper town and hurried around the school zone and to an intersection going into a neighborhood of the upper class. Where he found the three hired help, Litzia, Elrena and Lauriam, talking things with a duo of young men. One having red spikey hair, green eyes, an orange vest and white pants, the other having wild blue hair, a black jacket, black pants and blue eyes. The blue haired stranger had a small, green, bipedal lizard with blade tusks and red eyes. Elrena kept having Joltik on her head as she was at the end of her patience. "Lea, what do you mean you lost track of that bull?! Big, black and fiery shouldn't be hard to miss!"
The head head rolled his eyes. "Sorry miss," Sarcasm filled the ears. "Hard to keep him clear of any idiots that would set him off." He showed a spike chakram. "Remind me, why we're not allowed to go after them with these?"
Elrena crackled in a pitch as Litzia and a sun shaped meteor got in between them. "Because that would do more to scare them away and make them think we're going to hurt them. They'll fight back, believe me they will."
Lauriam approved of that as a small, thorn headed, humanoid plant creature, with a blue rose for a left hand and a red rose for a right had her hands to her hips. "And having a spray at your face would be preferable."
The blue haired man looked absolutely tired of the nonsense and crossed his arms. "This is idiotic, they're not going to stay with us for that long, so why are we having to invest into this effort?" The lizard lowered his head in disappointment and Leon puffed his cheeks.
He readied to barge into the argument as fiery crowing caught the grown ups attention. "Idiotic?! You have a lot of nerve to say that your partners face, you know that?" The band looked over to find a blonde girl with her hair tied in a bun, brown eyes behind glasses and an awkward blue and white uniform. Lea had a look at the girls partner, a bipedal chicken person with light orange short wings at the back of her head and covering her neck. Most of her body composed of red feathers, save for her chest and feet, which were yellow. Her hands are talons, her sclera was yellow and her eyes were blue. "Check that one out, Isa!"
Isa wasn't going to bother as the Solrock spun in a hymn and Litzia apologized. "Sorry, these guys are new to this and it's been a struggle with these two since yesterday. You got to be with those twins?" The girl nodded and waved to the lady in white. "I'm their cousin, Poppy. I dropped in from a wormhole since Daphne's a little busy helping her parents blast away the dark trial." She shook her head in disappointment. "When she said this town was having issues with the pokemon, I'd thought it was something like this."
"And it's not the worst I've seen, cousin!"
Poppy flinched and saw who was approaching, she sprinted after Leon to share an embrace of family as Kilokilo gave her hello to the chicken. (Good morning Moa!) The chicken waved back. (Hey, did you hear that too.) The trainers let go and Leon looked to the rebels of the group. "I'm going to presume you know my name and I knew there was a lot of bad air that was keeping things from getting done over here. Could either of you please recap what has happened?"
Isa sighed. "If it would get this over with. It started when the majority of us headed to the woods to catch one of these pocket monsters. Dorlu had a plan for this coin cat that proved to be difficult in approaching and kept behind while the rest of us tried our luck." He looked to the lizard that was remembering the silly ordeal. "There's been mixed results."
Elrena recalled. "I got distracted by this cutie that burrowed right out of reach, Lauriam was hypnotized by Roselia's flowers and took his time getting her to come along willingly. Medy managed to make a little tune with that Jigglypuff and Kricketot!"
She pointed a thumb to Isa, feeling that the children had a right to feel disappointed. "And this guy heard something going on with a tree and catch that Axew kid when he was busy sharpening those tusks on a tree. Lea lost track of this pepper lizard or something, so you can guess where the rest of that day went."
Poppy put fingers under her chin. "I see, so you attempted a plan B for the Blaze Breed Tauros and was about as successful?" Litzia waved a hand. "That was when my Bestie and my Bro stopped by to visit, after I finished this leap of faith and snagged Solrock. The other hasn't been coming down since midnight." Leon sighed and asked Elrena. "I'm guessing some of you were more busy telling people what to do and got frustrated enough that you didn't spot anything else?"
The lady of the group was willing to confess. "Yeah, I was screwing up badly after that. But Isa got the idea that we should try to find a training ground for these guys. If they evolve, we can show off what they can do with us."
Leon imagined how that worked out. "But there's still enough animosity that not a lot of people were okay with that?" He had a plan creep into mind and Kilokilo gave a giggle. "But maybe, we can clear away the misunderstanding. Any of you perform as a hobby or something?"
Lauriam wagged a finger. "Those would be Medy and Dorlu, what are you plotting?" The cousins looked to each other with a smile of mischief and Poppy requested. "We'll need to be somewhere that few people will be listening to, Leon... do we have anymore trainers who picked up some pokemon?"
The cousin nodded. "They're over at the other towns... but first." He pointed to Lea. "I saw one of you let loose some lightning, do you happen to specialize in an element?" The young man put his weapon away and snapped his fingers to show off a flame. "This is the part, where you tell me to get my act together and loan something from that project, right?"
Leon cringed. "Close, you're not being lent anything. There's two fire types that could take a liking to you, if you give it a try. Go over to Traverse and ask about that, the pokemon often picks the trainer and forms a sync." He raised a finger. "Then we can talk about how we're going to ease up the hate."
Litzia offered to escort the pyromancer. "I know what to say," She hurried off and stopped for a turn. "Come on, we're still early!" Lea shrugged and followed along calmly as Poppy had one more request. "Do we know a place with a printer?" Lauriam knew of one place. "The Library?" Poppy found that more fortuitous. "Perfect!"
Back at the Mansion.
Roxas was finished with an improvised wash and was getting use to the flame dried laundry while getting into a playful fist fight with the Charcadet, the duo back flipped simultaneously for a practice move. Charcadet gave off a flame charge as Roxas spun out of the way, the boy was having quite the time as his partner was cheering. Bringing support from Poipole as a particular witch came down from the stairs, Namine was seeing her clothes had stains and was quite embarrassed, even if the three didn't mind. The brains of the squad admitted to her boyfriend. "You and I still look like we've fought some kind of trash monster!"
Roxas sighed bitterly. "Yeah, but it's going to get messy again eventually." He had mischief in mind. "So while our friends are getting us stuff, how about we check out that forest?" Namine didn't mind. "We should practice while we can, because out here, I'm pretty limited in what I can do." The boy pretended to be offended and half dropped his eye lids. "T'heh! Like that stopped Hayner, Pence and Olette from going out there."
The witch felt that was a point to be made, the band hurried out of the mansion and took their step into the wilderness. Charcadet thought of a plan, hurried to a small clearing and called out. (Hey, Dunsparce? Anyone?)
The call caused movement in the shrubbery and something to burrow out of the ground, a round yellow snake like creature with white wings, constantly closed eyes, a blue underside and a drill like tail. Complimented by a lighter yellow shade on the back that had two blue stripes. The Dunsparce hissed happily. (Hey, you're back!) He noticed the two humans and the ultra beast and silently tried to burrow back into the ground, Charcadet barked loudly. (Hey, don't do that yet! We're finally back to finish this, where did everyone go?)
Dunsparce whimpered. (We're hiding from the humans! They're coming to take us away.) Poipole gave a confused squeak as Charcadet nodded and crossed his arms. (Duh! We're trying to catch you all.) He pointed a thumb to Roxas and Namine. (They're good people!)
Namine slowly approached, piecing together what has happened. "We are here to capture you guys and be a back up in case someone tries sneaking into this world. Could you show me why you're scared?"
Roxas gasped to realize. "That's it. Any pokemon in this forest that got caught, either from the other day or by the guys who were suppose to handle it, never came back." Charcadet sighed at something repetitive. (That's what Dunsparce is trying to say.)
The boy felt he was being redundant and crouched to the land snake. "Hate to break it to you, but you all aren't suppose to be here in the first place. But we're here to help you." Dunsparce grew more nervous as Namine went to pet him, she closed her eyes and traced together an old memory. One of Dunsparce having a scuffle with a nervous rock star with standing up, dark blonde hair and ocean blue wears, a Jigglypuff that was inflating and a Kricketot that was playing a melody. The Rock Star and Jigglypuff were pleading. "Come on, let's get this over with!"
Dunsparce gave a sharp glare at the puff ball. "Uh uh!" The glare paralyzed the Jigglypuff and the snake turned to a patch of loose dirt, listening to the rock star complaining. "Ah man, this guy can freeze you with one look?"
Rustle!
Out of the shrubbery was a very familiar, blonde woman with a Joltik on her head, the woman was about to say something when she noticed the pokemon before her, pressed her hands together and squeed. "Oh my Light, it's so cute!" The Joltik leaped off the woman, in an attempt to pounce on Dunsparce. "You're coming with us!"
The snake was already digging on seeing the woman's insane behavior. "Nope!" The woman quickly realized that the snake was escaping. "Uh uh! Not happening!" The snake went under and listened to both a spark and a thud above.
Namine put her hand off the snake and was back to reality, she put a hand to her chest in a moment of terror. "What the heck is that woman into?" Roxas knew who she was talking about. "Elrena wasn't making a good impression, was she?"
Namine shook her head. "These guys only know the basics on how to capture a pokemon and not everyone out here is willing to make it easy. " She pressed her teeth together. "Yeah... this town is going to need some extra hands." The Dunsparce coiled into the dirt as something burrowed from out of a tree root, a Nincada that was using his antenna to feel the air. He picked up heat and scurried to the teenagers and the Charcadet, giving a near silent buzz. (I can feel you from over here.)
The Cadet raised a brow and asked. (Hey, do you know anyone here who's going to give us a challenge? While not running off in the middle of the fight?) Nincada muttered. (I do, for he is here! You are a Charcadet.) He looked up to Roxas. (And this is your friend?)
The Charcadet nodded and addressed his partner, Namine and the Poipole. (As of last night, they are.) Roxas had an idea in mind. "I heard a lot about you, Nincada! If we keep a spare ball around, you'll have another surprise for us when it's time to evolve." Namine considered that a point to make. "And we could use the numbers out here." She took a deep breath and had Poipole follow her deeper into the forest. "Give Nincada a chance to show what he can do, we'll be close by!"
Charcadet sighed at an opponent that wouldn't be much of a challenge as Dunsparce took the chance to burrow into the ground, Nincada kept a stand as Roxas readied a net ball. "Let's do this!" The trainee pokemon skittered swiftly and gave the Charcadet a firm smack, Roxas gave an order as the insect jumped back. "Flame charge him into a tackle and follow with ember!" The Charcadet rushed for a flame charge, sending the bug on a roll and back flipping for a fast ember ball that was quite dim. Nincada was quite hurt and was in a hop, he sank his fore limbs into mud and flung it at the fire types face, making him back off as Roxas saw enough and tossed the net ball.
Fling! Tap! Bop! Bop! Bop! Shake...shake...shake... click!
The chapter was a success and Charcadet wiped the mud from his eyes and laughed. (That will do, that will do!) He picked the ball up and handed it over to his partner, who picked it up and let the bug out. He channeled a heal to the duo and crouched to get to their level. "That wasn't too bad, you two." He gave the two a petting and was annoyed that the snake got away. "That Dunsparce is going to figure out that we're trying to help him, but we'll get him at another time. Nincada, do you want to come along and see how further you can go?" Nincada rubbed his forelimbs together, took a step back and jumped onto the boys arm, climbing up swiftly to perch on his shoulder and giving something of a smile.
Further ahead.
Namine and Poipole had a bit of luck in their hunt, as they heard the sound of a snore in the shrubs, they approached from behind and found a round plant with a green olive on top of her head. Having eyes that are closed and a wiggly mouth that was giving out snores, the witch knew from her time studying the dex and cooking, that this is a Smoliv. A pokemon that if evolved, regardless if it's a battler, holds a very crucial oil that is used for the culinary arts. Namine brought out a humble pokeball and gave a simple toss, capturing the grass type with ease. As the ball shook, the duo heard a fulfilling humming, the ball made the click and the witch picked up her next project before issuing that they follow the noise. They went to a small grove of apricorn trees that had markings of symbols and paw prints. One was of a leaf and a purple paw print, one was of a bear shaped head with that paw print and the third one was an insect with that paw print. Being drawn upon by a cream colored, bipedal beagle like creature, with two brown straps at each wrist, he resembles more of a cartoonish, french artist and has a long tail with what looks to be purple paint.
Namine was enamored by the artist form, the brown ears and the paw print on the back. She put her hands to her cheeks and sighed blissfully. "Smeargle is so exquisite."
Poipole blushed at the strange look the witch is giving and floated over to Smeargle, blabbering and bringing notice to the artist that turned to find two visitors and waving while giving finishing touches. "Smear!" (Hello there! Lovely apritrees we have here!)
The Ultra Beast agreed, flew to the fourth tree and squirted a pattern of green goop. Smeargle jumped in astonishment and had an idea to use the goop as painting material as Namine approached. "I see you like drawings things too?" The Smeargle half turned his head, quite amazed at a fellow artist. (I've seen a lot of humans make art in the town.) He blushed at the inspiring paintings. (But none have yet to let me draw with them. You have the gift as well?)
Namine knew what was asked. "I've drawn a lot of pictures myself. Sometimes it's because of my power and sometimes it's for the fun of it," She half dropped her eye lids and her voice turned to that of a predator. "but now that I got you in my sights, I'm not going to let you go." She stepped back and asked ."Poipole, let's do this!"
The Ultra Beast waved in an apology and twirled to battle as the Smeargle gave a bow and braced for battle. (I'll have you know, I've met some interesting pokemon.) He crackled in electricity and charged for a nuzzle, paralyzing the ultra beast in a surprising tackle, Poipole back flipped and whined as the witch ordered. "Hurry and shoot him with acid!"
The Ultra Beast did so and sprayed, causing sizzling damage as the Smeargle stepped back and gave a stylish taunt. Namine followed. "Go for fury attack next!" The Ultra Beast mustered the nerve and charged at the Smeargle, striking four times as the Smeargle gave a leap and flung a sticky web. The Poipole fired a squirt of acid as Namine aligned a poke ball and dashed to get behind the artist. With a tap on the back, Smeargle yelped and was brought in. Shake...shake...shake... click!
Like that, the Smeargle was caught and Namine went to her bag to apply a full heal spray on the ultra beast. "Excellent work, Poipole." She giggled in mischief and caused the beast to feel her nerves work once more, she gasped to something and hurried to pick the ball up, cheering more and more. (You draw on ball?)
The witch knew what was said. "A special pokemon like him, should get a ball with some special touches, and what isn't more one of a kind than something hand drawn?" She and the Ultra Beast saw Roxas, Charcadet and the Nincada perching on a shoulder. The teenagers blushed at the progress made and Namine showed the two captures. "We've found a Smoliv that can help us once she evolves and we've found some Apri trees. We could spend some time getting prepared if we can find the cobblestone."
Charcadet was on the order, went to the middle tree and gave it a firm kick, dropping three apricorns as the witch let out a Smoliv that was looking around nervously and a Smeargle that was dazed from battle. The olive saw friendly looking faces and calmed down. (You said about help?)
The witch waved her hand. "We're kind of out on our own and the nearby town might react weird if we stay in it for too long. I've heard that once you evolve, this oil that you store up can be quite the use." Smoliv remembered the grassy taste of a kins oil and drooled. (Say no more, I don't got the stuff now but I know I'll have it soon!) Smeargle is impressed. (I've heard from the local humans, that is an ingredient for this restaurant.)
Roxas picked up three apricorns as the Charcadet was growing peckish. (That fancy Bistro?) He gasped to an idea. (It could be worth checking out one of these days.) Namine had an idea and cringed. "We're lucky that some of us learned to cook from that place, because we're broke and we'll have to scavenge what we can."
Roxas didn't mind to the plan. "All we need are some clean clothes and we can actually go there." Namine had a devilish giggle. "Fu fu fu! At the most, this will give us time to freshen up our hideout and make ourselves more at home." It would kill some time, the band returned back to the mansion, where Smeargle was drawn in to the architecture. The boy opened the door to let the companions in. Once inside, Roxas went to get something as Namine used a chair and invited the five pokemon to join her in some social activities. "Now that we're all together, let's learn to get along better."
At the Market Place.
Denryk was left holding bags worth of living supplies and to watching over a nervous Scraggy that kept behind his legs. The hoodie boy recalled his partner speaking of a surprise and caught sight of Dupmic returning with the Murkrow on his shoulder, having two bags worth of clothes and giving a sharp scowl. "You did not think that plan through!" He approached and raised a finger. "That placed fixed the thing but there's a cop around. I really hope you didn't leave any prints behind."
Denryk showed that his hands had a sock and a glove that would cover the finger prints. He was crossed even more. "Did they really bring you over for questions, because of the style you got?" He sighed. "Rude!"
Dupmic appreciated the pity. "Yeah, so when we get back, let's try to lay low and let our leading couple have a patrol." He saw a smile of mischief. "What do you say?" Denryk opened his mouth and heard a man shout from behind him. "Stop, thief!"
The boy and Scraggy turned fast, finding a floating key ring with a round, pink, limbless body dangling in the center, a face that has a big keyhole for a mouth and a key at the tip of the head. It had a collection of various keys, one of them resembling a keyblade. Denryk burst into laughter, knowing where the key fairy has been, Dupmic felt a vein pulsing and ordered. "Don't just stand there and laugh!" He pointed for Schemy. "Let's catch this Klefki!" Denryk turned to order as he worked towards getting an ultra ball out. "Yeah, yeah!" He placed the groceries down. "Scraggy!"
The Hoodlum charged begrudgingly as Denryk intercepted the Klefki's retreat, "Fake it out!" Scraggy went to do just that as Dupmic ordered his partner. "I don't know your moves, Schemy, but try something that will make it easier to catch!" The Murkrow nodded and flew around the Klefki as a prankster, flapping up a thunder wave. Denryk stepped back with some style. "Blind it with sand!"
Scraggy picked up dirt and tossed it at the keyring as the Murkrow went to give a pecking, the Klefki squeaked and blew a fairy wind that Scraggy rolled away from. The Hoodlum sprinted for a low kick, the Klefki conjured a reflective barrier and giggled in spite, bringing Denryk to dashing at the fairy's back and throwing the Ultra Ball. Making a rather clean capture. Denryk picked up the ball and went back to the supplies as Dupmic noticed a familiar, blonde gentlemen with short blonde hair, short facial hair, a Meowth by his side and black clothes. The grown up gave a round of applause as the Replica whispered fast. "Heads up, we found that Meowth."
Denryk turned his head to find the scratch cat well behaved. "Makes sense."
Tap! Tap!
In a sudden, Leon came rushing into the scene. With a slow hovering Hatterene right behind them. Leon didn't recognize the duo in their hoodies and barked. "Hey, what are you doing?! What's in that ball?" Denryk showed off the ball as Dupmic answered. "Some keyring, I think they call them Klefkis. You must be some of the trainer kids." He introduced himself and his cohorts. "Dupmic and Schemy." He gestured to his other partner. "Denryk and Scraggy!" He pointed at the odd one. "And the gambler that watched that is Dorlu!"
The stranger waved. "Charmed!" He asked. "I supposed, you've been exposed to enough of the mediocrity by now?"
Leon sighed in disappointment. "Very much so, but we're getting that straighten up as we speak." He requested to the rough neck. "Denryk, may I see the Klefki?" The other let the key ring out and watched the youngster apply some medicine, healing the aliment as the Meowth licked a paw and meowed. (You finally got caught?) The fairy jingled bitterly. (It was bound to happen.)
Denryk half turned to find a brown haired, overweight store owner that was catching up, signaled he stopped and pointed a thumb to the key ring. He signaled in silence, that the ordeal was taken cared of as Dupmic watched the gentle care with envy. "You must be that Leon kid I heard about, fancy seeing you all the way over here for an inspection."
Leon requested that the Klefki returned the stolen toy key and assured him. "You and Denryk shouldn't worry about me saying anything, you and the others got here last night, if I'm informed."
The boys nodded as Denryk picked up his grocery bags. "Yeah, we're just getting stuff and most of these care cold. So if we can be quick about this." Leon gasped, went over to the clerk to return the stolen goods and left Dorlu to ask. "Denrick, you speak of a larger force. I presume you're to provide some remedy to this town with in the next few days?"
The other heard his name and promised while rolling his eyes with mischief. "The way I see it, we'll be cleaning up most of the forest and deal with this greedy fat-"
jingle!
The boy was interrupted by the store owner being told something and jingle the key back for the Klefki. "takes a real jerk to leave some guys in the rain, just so you can horde food that was stolen and I'm thinking that rat-" jingle! "-needs to be taught a few things and we need the numbers to get it done."
Dorlu, Dupmic and the Scraggy were completely off guard by the language as Denryk pointed at the Meowth playfully. "And it looks like you became friends this scratch cat right here, so you guys managed to get something done."
The Meowth had a sly smile as Leon and Klefki returned, the youngster pretended that he didn't hear the swearing and reported along. "The problem with how some people are still troubled by the pokemon, should be resolved after this project that me and my cousin are going to organize. Bring your top performers, have some fun and keep to a sync, you'll know the rest once you return. Denryk, I'm going to have to bring Klefki to... someone, someone, who could use her utility. Do you mind?"
The foul mouth let Leon have the ball. "Well, since you asked." Fling! "We'll be back as soon as the foods put away and we're all set!" He and Scraggy hurried off as Dupmic let Schemy on his shoulder and hurried with the bag of clothes. "We'll tell the two about this! Don't hold up!"
With the boys off, Leon had Klefki by his side as Dorlu raised a brow and tapped a finger in thought. The youngster informed the grown up. "If you wish to know more, the gang's at the library. Find this Medy guy and tell him to haul it there as soon as possible!" The gambler nodded and smirked to a scheme. "He shouldn't be far and all he'll need to hear is perform."
At the Mansion.
Namine, Poipole and Smeargle were working together to make something of a canvas in regards to the more recent events, with Poipole providing some of the paint, Smeargle using it to lay out a back drop of the ground and Namine focusing on making a sky and a forest. Roxas was sitting on the a chair in the other side of the foyer as Charcadet was sitting at his hip, resting from the work out and Nincada was perching on the boys shoulder. Having no idea what the other side was up to. The door opened, letting in the boys and their companions, Dupmic announced gleefully. "We're back with the goods!"
Denryk shadow stepped to the kitchen and left Scraggy by his lonesome as Namine had a look at the bag of clothes with a raised brow as Roxas felt his heart leap. "Dupmic, did you seriously went to the place Denryk 'visited'?"
The Replica hurried to close the door as Schemy flew to a perch and smirked, the odd team member answered in a report. "I think it took longer to figure out that he shut off every camera in the store than it will be, to figure out that something was stolen. These are actually paid for." He had one bag for Roxas and the other for Namine. "Leon's been sent to this town for a short inspection and apparently, his cousin is paying a visit too and she's organizing something so the locals can see just what kind of friends we have waiting. We'll be out there together soon."
That was quite the enticing mystery, Denryk returned in the span of a few minutes as a humble specter. "Got the pantry, wash rooms, an improve drying rack and a medicine cabinet filled." He had the chance to see his cohorts with their partners and was charmed. "Aw! It's like a big family over here."
Poipole blushed as Scraggy was realizing that his trainer was serious about that. Roxas and Namine excused themselves with their bags, the girl of the group announced. "We'll be getting changed, stay close to the mansion if you got that urge to explore."
Roxas promised. "We'll try to be quick." The duo headed up stairs and left the boys alone with the pokemon, Denryk was keeping that smile as Dupmic used the chance to warn his partner. "You shouldn't have told him your name like that. Those guys have been known to pick up on certain clues and that one is a professional poker player."
Denryk shrugged with a sly smile. "That was the idea, that way it won't surprise them when something blows my cover." He brought out a nest ball and announced. "I think I spotted something in a nearby tree, I'm gonna check it out." He asked a Scraggy that got close. "Stay put while I handle it." He took a step as the Scraggy sprinted to place a paw, right as Denryk shadow stepped to the forest. The boy saw Scraggy completely disobeyed him and closed his eyes to groan. "Or come with me," He wave his free hand. "What ever!"
He looked up to the trees and slowed his movement. "It was right around-" He halted to find a green pine cone hanging from a tree. It had red eyes and a blissful stare at the wilderness. Denryk counted a blessing, pointed to Scraggy and gave the sound of a silent clap before aiming a thumb to a tree.
The Hoodlum nodded, went to the tree and charged for a head butt that shook the tree and sent the Pine Cone falling. The bag worm was in a daze from his fall. "Pine?!" It flipped upward and shook itself in a relaxed flex. Ken ordered fast. "Fake him out!" The Scraggy gave an intimidating glare rushed for a fast clap and gave a punch of pay back, the bag worm countered with a rapid spin and was punched once more before leaping on the hoodlum and giving a bug bite. The Scraggy flung him away and pulled his pants up as Denryk realize that's a bug type. The Pine Cone gave a light buzz. (Back off, I'm warning ya!)
The Scraggy took a step back, looked to Denryk with the nest ball aimed and nodded. (Alright.) The boy hurled the ball and got the bag worm in the capsule, the duo watched it shake three times and clicked for a capture, the Scraggy gave a cheer of victory as Denryk picked up the ball and smirked maliciously. "He'll do!" He asked the Scraggy that was lightening up. "Say, if that performing gig is going to happen, you want to show the haters what they're missing out on?"
The Scraggy nodded and put a hand on the boys leg, wanting a quick shadow step back to the mansion. Denryk obliged and caused a fast travel to the hide out, where Dupmic was left baby sitting and was observing a painted drawing that Namine was working on. The other raised the nest ball and tossed it. "Got another!"
He let out the bag worm that rolled to a more confined den and looked around at the changed scenery. The Charcadet grunted with a warriors pride. (Nice for you to join is, Pineco.) He had a smile. (Thanks for not self destructing.)
Scraggy cringed at a close call as Dupmic realized. "This pokemon looks like a grenade!" Denryk was amused by destructive visions. "I know, right. He looks like some kind of spinning bag worm too, the expert should tell us what Spiny is before I go throwing him." The replica was intimidated by the strange fire in his partners eyes. "You like getting to the point?" Denryk agreed with him and advised. "Can't get results if you don't get in there and do it yourself."
Click!
The band heard doors opening on the upper floor and watched as their squad leaders took a step down the stairs. To the left was Roxas, who was in a black hoodie, with a gray jacket hiding the undershirt and a sky blue set of long jeans. To the right was Namine, who was in a long, once piece, blue dress with distinct white flowers to compliment a white blouse top and a set of blue boots. Charcadet, Scraggy and Schemy were in complete aw as Poipole giggled and clapped. Smeargle put his fingers together and used it to get the duo in a picture. (Now this is art!)
Namine blushed at the compliment. "Thank you," Denryk and Dupmic were quite speechless in how civil and modernly regal the duo looked, the rough neck felt his tongue caught as Dupmic was in a blush. "I'd figured they'd suit you."
The duo had a look at some commotion and saw the new arrival, Roxas asked. "Who brought this Pineco in here?" Denryk raised his hand as the bag worm asked. (You don't mind some extras in this den, do you?)
Namine didn't what so ever. "This place is kind of a source of some bad memories, so anymore crashing here is more of a way to make some happier ones." She asked her subordinate. "Are you going to be nice to him, Denryk? This pokemon has a few niches that are pretty reckless and destructive."
The newcomer promised. "Hey, hey! If he's as explosive as he looks, then that's a finale!" He was hearing stomachs growling and Roxas called to the Charcadet to summarize a first impression. "This wasn't that bad of a morning."
Namine readied her small collection of balls for the next stage. "Indeed." She requested. "Leon's cousin arrived to give an inspection and we shouldn't disappoint her. As soon as we get something to eat, we'll be heading out." The rough necks understood and Denryk took the lead to the kitchen. "That ought to be easy, I'll show ya where I put the different stuffs in."
