The next morning, Fi was the first to stir. She carefully slipped out of bed, making sure not to disturb her boys, and quietly made her way down the hallway to check on Jackson. She gently looked in, seeing Sam had left the door open with the bathroom light on. Jackson was awake, laying in bed when he saw her, he backed up further in back. Fi didn't move,

"It's okay, I'm Sam's partner, remember?"

Jackson stared at her for a minute then relaxed.

"Where's Sam?"

Fi stepped a little closer, her voice soft and soothing

"He's still asleep. I didn't want to wake him just yet. But if you want, you can. Michael is still asleep too."

"The tall guy?"

"Yeah, but he won't bite. He's a lot like Sam, looking out for everybody."

Jackson moved to the side of the bed, letting his feet dangling for a second before getting up.

"How about you go see him, and I'll make breakfast?"

"Pancakes?" Jackson asked, hopeful.

"Of course." Fi smiled.

Jackson lit up like a christmas tree, before making his way past her, still keeping a cautious distance but clearly starting to trust her a little. He slipped out of the room and quietly padded down the hallway toward the other bedroom, he peaked in only seeing Sam asleep Michael in the bathroom he guessed judging by the sounds coming from there. He walked over to the edge of the bed, getting in and snuggling up to Sam. Sam woke up, when he felt the bed dip opening an eye he smiled as he opened his arms and Jackson cuddled right up with him asleep in seconds. Michael came out of the bathroom,

"Sam wha…" He stopped when he realized Sam and Jackson were asleep.

He stood there and watched for a moment before going to find Fi. He walked into the kitchen, seeing Fi making batter.

"I would hold off on pancakes, Fi." He whispered, coming up behind her kissing her neck.

"Jackson want…"

"He's asleep with Sam. Both cuddled up together."

Fi smiled at that, putting the batter in the refrigerator. A while later, Sam woke up to Jackson's head pressed against his chest. He smiled, as he kissed his head and got up. He walked downstairs looking for Fi and Mikey, as he came into the kitchen the two of them were sitting with their backs to him at the counter eating yogurt. Sam sneaked up on them, wrapping an arm around both of them sticking his head between both of them.

"Why do I smell the faint smell of pancake batter, then yogurt?" He whispered, kissing Fi's neck and Michael's jaw.

"Well Jackson wanted pancakes, so I came down and started making some. Then Michael comes down and tells me the two of you are sound asleep."

"I didn't even hear you two get up, I woke up slightly when Jackson got in and snuggled up to me. But then I must've dozed off again." Sam admitted, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

Suddenly, there was a commotion, followed by hurried footsteps. Before either of them could react, Jackson appeared in the doorway to the kitchen, his face a mix of confusion and concern.

"Hey, buddy," Sam called gently, kneeling down to his level.

"I'm right here."

Jackson hesitated, glancing around as if trying to make sense of it all.

"You weren't in bed. I thought you left me."

Sam's heart sank.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you."

"I don't like waking up alone."

Sam got up, and picked him up. Jackson wrapped his arms and legs around him, as Sam walked over to where Michael and Fi got up from the counter. Fi rubbed his back,

"I started making pancakes, do you want to finish making them with Sam buddy?"

Jackson nodded, hiding his face in his neck.

"Go wash your hands and your face."

Jackson went and did as he was told, Sam sighed as he stood looking at Michael and Fi. Michael gave Fi a look,

"We are going back to the warehouse we found you two in."

Sam looked at him and Fi both, looking puzzled.

"Why? There was only one guy there beside Jackson and I and you shot him." Sam pointed at Fi.

"But there had to be more Sam. He kidnapped both of you at the same time by himself?" Fi asked.

Sam didn't say anything, just sat down.

"Sam, let us handle it. You take Jackson shopping, get him what he needs, clothes, shoes, stuff to make him comfortable."Michael stood, walking over to him, giving him some money.

Sam nodded, looking defeated. Michael lean his forehead against his, Sam lean forward slightly catching him in a sweet kiss. Fi had stood while they were having their moment, and Sam had caught her wrist mid kiss with him pulling her towards both of them. Michael broke the kiss, Sam crushed his mouth into Fi's, surprising her while Michael stood back.

"Okay, I guess that was a group activity," He said.

Sam broke the kiss, leaning back smirking.

"More like a group project." He teased, looking between the two of them. Michael rolled his eyes but couldn't help a smile.

"Alright let's focus. We need to go look at the warehouse and Jackson needs things to make him comfortable." Michael said.

Fi and Michael left, Jackson came back into the kitchen a moment later.

"Where did they go?"

"Had a job." Sam lied, getting up looking in the refrigerator for the batter.

He got out the batter, gesturing to Jackson.

"Pancakes?"

Jackson nodded excitedly, and Sam showed him how to do it. Michael and Fi went back to the warehouse, opening the door, the police had already come and left. They searched the building hoping to find something the police missed. Michael was on one end, Fi on the other when Fi called him.

"Yea Fi?"

"Found something, but can't get it out."

"Be right there."

Michael found Fi, struggling to open a box and finally money spilled out. Michael and Fi looked at each other.

"What should we do with all this?" Michael asked.

"Put some of it in a fund for Jackson, use some of it." Fi said.

Michael agreed, picking it up with Fi's help and hauled it into the charger. After taking it to a bank and opening up Jackson an account, putting some of it in there, some in each of Michael's, Fi's, and Sam's account took the rest with them so there wouldn't be that many questions. As they walked out of the bank, Michael could tell Fi was wanting to get back to Sam. As they got back in the car Michael lean toward her and asked,

"How long has it been since we did date night with two of us while the other had a night at home?"

Fi thought about it,

"A while…."

"How about we meet up with Sam and Jackson and have lunch at Carlitos, then you and Sam could have a night out? Take some of that money and get a fancy hotel room…."

Fi kissed him, Michael smiled as he kissed her back. Fi broke the kiss texting Sam to meet them there. They left the bank, getting there after Sam and Jackson did. Jackson was so engrossed in coloring that he didn't notice them walking up until Sam stood pulling out a chair for Fi, Michael sat beside Jackson he watched him after Michael sat down. The waiter came over Sam ordering a beer, Jackson a sprite while Fi and Michael ordered food.

"Sam, Jackson, are you two not hungry?" Fi asked.

"We had a lot of pancakes." Jackson smiled.

"So did you find anything?" Sam asked, softly.

"A box of money." Michael whispered.

"How much?"

"Enough to start a college fund for Jackson and put some cash in each of our bank accounts." Fi said.

"Anything else?"

Michael and Fi shook their heads, as they finished eating. Michael made an excuse to excuse himself, leaving the table. Fi noticed both Sam and Jackson were quiet. Fi moved her seat closer to Sam, Sam noticed her smiling as she rested her head against his shoulder. He turned his head, pressing a soft kiss to her head, but he was still a million miles away in his head.

"Can we go out tonight? Michael said he would watch Jackson."

Sam sighed softly. Before he could answer, Jackson, who had been playing nearby, made his way over and climbed up into Sam's lap, Snuggling close, Jackson looked up at Sam with his big, curious eyes.

"Fi, I'd love to, but..." Sam began, glancing down at Jackson, hesitant.

Jackson blinked up at him, a spark of interest in his eyes.

"But what, Daddy?"

Hearing Jackson call him "Daddy" for the first time hit Sam harder than he expected. The word echoed in his mind, making his heart clench. He hadn't realized how much he needed to hear it.

"It's just… I'm not sure if now's the right time."

Jackson shifted, leaning back against Sam's chest, and after a beat, he confidently added,

"I have to get to know Michael better if I'm going to live with you. Why not tonight?"

Fi smiled, resting her head on top of Sam's shoulder, her brows furrowing slightly as she added,

"Just for a little while, Sam. It could be good for all of us."

Sam stared down at Jackson, feeling a mixture of warmth and uncertainty. He ran a hand gently through Jackson's hair, meeting his gaze.

"You really want to spend more time with Michael?" Sam asked softly.

Jackson nodded, his little hands fiddling with Sam's shirt.

"Yeah. I like him. And he's good to you and Fi. I just want to… know him better."

Sam exchanged a look with Fi, feeling the weight of the moment.

"Okay," he murmured, his voice gentle as he pulled Jackson closer.

He looked up at Fi and Michael, who had just walked back to their table and the shock was evident on their faces.

"Okay Mikey you're on babysitting duty."

"Alright, I've got Jackson tonight. We'll have some fun, won't we, little man?"

Jackson hugged Sam, Sam kissed his head and he got down, running over to Michael climbing up his lap. Sam and Fi took that as cue to leave, Sam got up coming around behind Michael hugging him, whispering,

"Thank you." As he kissed his cheek.

"You're welcome."

"Bye buddy, love you." Sam crouched down to Jackson, ruffling his hair.

"Bye daddy."

Sam looked at Fi, then went to the car, Fi followed, leaning down to kiss Jackson's forehead softly.

"Be good for Michael, okay?"

Jackson giggled, already comfortable in Michael's lap.

"I will!"

Fi then turned to Michael, giving him a grateful smile before pressing a light kiss to his cheek.

"Thank you, Michael. We won't be too late."

"Take your time, we'll be fine."

Fi went to Sam's car, seeing him waiting by the passenger door. He opened the door, but she went around getting in the driver's seat. Sam smiled as he shook his head, getting in.

"Assuming you're driving, I'm guessing you already got us a room?" Sam asked, softly.

"You know me too well, I've got one at your favorite hotel in miami."

Fi pulled out heading to the hotel, about an hour later Fi gently poked Sam to wake him up. He smiled when he opened his eyes,

"We're here." Fi whispered.

Sam got out, coming around the car, opening her door. They walked up the beach next to the hotel to a restaurant. As they enjoyed their meal, laughter and conversation flowed easily between them. They finished their last bites, the sun began to set, casting a warm glow across the water. Fi leaned back, taking in the scene.

"This is amazing," She said, her gaze drifting to the horizon.

"It really is." Sam whispered, looking at her smiling.

Sam reached for her hand, intertwining their fingers. Fi faced him smiling as he did, and they headed to the hotel. To Sam's surprise, somehow (he suspected Mike) 2 bags of luggage appeared in the trunk. Fi checked them in, and they made their way up to their room. Fi let him in first and Sam was shocked about how beautiful the view was. He sat the bags beside the bed, and watched as Fi opened the door that led out to the balcony. He walked to the door frame, leaning against it. Fi looked behind her, smirking as Sam pushed himself off the doorframe walking over to her wrapping his arms around her. He rested his chin on her shoulder, tucking his face into her neck. Fi leaned into him, as he kissed her neck. She looked over, seeing a lounge chair she grabbed his hand pulling over to it. Sam realized what she was doing, and sat down laying back on the chair as she laid against his chest back to front. She wrapped his arms around her stomach, looking out into the ocean.

"Sam," she began softly, tracing circles on his arm.

"Hmm?" He murmured, his voice low and relaxed, the sound vibrating gently against her back. The warm sun enveloped them, and the rhythmic sound of waves crashing provided a soothing backdrop.

"Have you ever thought about what our future could look like? You know, with Michael and maybe kids someday?"

"I've thought about it, especially when I was married… but I've not thought about kids in general in a long time… at least until Jackson came into my life first then watching you and Mikey with him…" Sam trailed off, thinking.

Fi turned slightly to meet his gaze, her curiosity piqued.

"What about Jackson?" she pressed gently.

Sam sighed, the weight of his thoughts evident.

"He's changed everything for me. Watching you both with him… it made me realize how much joy a child can bring. But it's also made me think about what I want in my own life. What does Mikey think, have you had this talk with him?"

"He was on the fence, but he said if you're okay with it we can start trying. I'm hoping leaving Jackson with him this weekend will help his fears of not turning into his dad." She said looking up at him, turning so she laid on top of him.

"Do you?" Sam whispered.

She smiled, and kissed him, Sam smiled as he sat up, he moved his hands underneath her and picked her up sitting her on his lap, her legs wrapped around him.

"Why do you think I wanted to come up here, besides taking your mind off everything. I've seen you with Jackson, you're a natural." She said softly, her eyes sparkling with warmth, she kissed him slow and deep. She broke the kiss, resting her forehead against his.

"I want to see that side of you more." She whispered, looking into his eyes.

Sam felt a rush of warmth flood his cheeks. He chuckled nervously, glancing away for a moment before meeting her gaze again.

"I didn't think you noticed." He admitted, a shy smile creeping onto his face.

"It's just… Jackson makes it easy. I guess I was just worried about living up to it. What if I'm not enough?"

"You already are." She replied, her tone loving.

"Your Jackson's whole world, you and Michael have been through so much together it's okay to embrace that side of you. I want to see it, Sam." She brushed her fingers gently against his cheek, urging him to be open.

"You don't have to hide it from me. We have been friends for four years and this…" She gestured between them.

"For almost two." Fi whispered, kissing him. Sam kissed her, breaking the kiss he looked away.

"What's wrong Sam?"

"Mikey asked me that night after you guys rescued me, if that guy physically assaulted me. I didn't have to say anything, it was written all over my face Fi."

"Sam, I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was that bad."

Sam leaned back against the chair, running his hands through his hair.

"I thought I could keep it from you two, but you know Michael he can see through the bullshit." Sam leant up, placing both hands on her face.

"I'm sorry this was supposed to be a romantic getaway."

Fi smiled, and stood up pulling him with her. Sam followed her lead, back into the room. She pulled him to the edge of bed when he pulled on her, turning her toward him. His thumb at the hem of her shirt, gently rubbing against her skin that showed.

"Lay back." He whispered.

Fi did as she was told, Sam lean over her kissing her, he smirked when he moved down her neck nipping at her skin. He wrapped his arms around her, kissing her lips and neck. Fi moaned into his mouth, she ran her hands down his back to the front of his shirt, started to unbutton his shirt. His hands moved to her hips, kissing her, Fi groaned as his shirt fell off his shoulders and onto the floor. Meanwhile, he unbuttoned her pants and removed both hers then his along with both of their underwear. He removed her shirt then laid her down on the bed. Propping himself up above her laying below him, he started kissing down her body.. He looked at her, smiled and gently kissed his way down her body until he settled between her legs. He leaned his head down, he removed his tongue and replaced it with one finger, then two, she watched as he moved his fingers in and out of her fucking her. Sam looked up at her, soon after that Fi came, as she watched him sucking her juices off his fingers. Sam looked at her, she motioned him to get up to her upper body. He moved up her body, stopping and paying extra attention to her breasts, jawline, and lips. He lined up and pushed in slowly as she adjusted to him. Fi wrapped her legs around his waist, building up a steady rhythm between them, she arched her back, meeting his thrusts. Sometime later Sam came first and Fi followed. Once Fi's orgasm had finished he pulled out, lying beside her and pulling a sheet over them both. Fi turned towards him and snuggled up to him. They both fell asleep, feeling nothing but love. Fi woke up sometime during the night, and couldn't go back to sleep. She laid there watching him sleep, listening to him breathing. She gently brushed his hair from his forehead, smiling at how peaceful he looked. She got on top of him, gently resting her head on his chest. With a contented sigh, Fi drifted back into a dream, where they had a little girl with blue eyes and red hair. Sam woke up, looking at the clock only realizing it was 3AM he quietly got up, careful not to wake up Fi. Going to the bathroom to relieve himself, he came back laying back down drifting into a dream where they had a little boy with brown eyes and brown hair. The next morning Sam woke up, moaning as Fi rode him opening his eyes looking at her taking in the sight of her breasts bouncing he reached up cupping each with one hand. Fi had her eyes closed but opened them when she felt his hand on her. He squeezed her nipple, rolling it. Fi lean down kissing him, he moves his hands down to her hips holding her and flipped them. He picked up her legs wrapping them around his back, slowly guided himself in. She moved her hand up in his hair, holding his head close to her neck. She turned around their mouths crashing together, he gently began pushing her toward the end of the bed, laying her down on it, placing kisses starting at her lips, moving down her body. He took hold of the waistband of her pants with his hands, pulling them down along with her underwear, coming to place more kisses on her stomach. Fi fumbled with his pants undoing them, Sam kicked them off, along with his underwear. With that, he moved to settle between her legs. Fi watched him, feeling his very skillful tongue on her, inside her, hearing him moaning as he tasted her.

"I'm so close, Sam."

She watches him as he removes his tongue, looking her in the eye he replaces his tongue with one finger, then two moving them in and out of her, fucking her. Sam then removes his fingers, licking her juices off his fingers. Fi looks at him, his blue pupils blown.

"I want to feel you." was all she said.

Sam immediately made his way back to her, kissing her, moving from her lips to her jawline. She slowly wraps her legs around him, he immediately pushed in slowly. Entering her he slowly moved in and out of her, she arched her back into him meeting his thrusts one by one. Two minutes later Fi came first, Sam soon followed. Sam pulled out of Fi, falling onto his back beside her, pulling her close to him covering them both with a sheet. They laid there, Sam running his fingers through her hair, breathing in her scent.

"I love you."

"I love you, too Fi."

Fi finally got up going to the shower, Sam laid there listening to her humming. He got up, about the time the shower turned off. He walked into the bathroom, seeing her getting ready. He jumped in the shower, rinsing off after both of them were ready. Sam asked,

"Where to?"

"The same place as last night?" She asked, as she grabbed his hand.
