Vikram sighed as he went home and walked through the door.

After he and Yumi met with Lumine, Vikram soon went home. After he had ensured Yumi was okay with going to her house by herself, because of Mondstadt's reputed safety, there was still a large number of criminals and gangs milling around, waiting to kidnap someone or just even threaten them for mora.

"Hey sis, I am home." Vikram said to her as he sat down on the couch.

Sita Kapoor was awoman not to be messed with. A former member of the Knights' Cavalry Unit and an acclaimed swordswoman herself, she had decided two years ago to leave the Knights' and settle down with her girlfriend April, who was a medic for the Adventurers' Guild herself.

"Hey, how was date night." Sita said back as she was polishing her claymore.

Vikram smiled as he poured himself some water.

"Fine, though you would never believe who we ran into though."

Sita smiled and soon set her sword down.

"Lumine?"

Vikram was faked shocked as Sita laughed.

"Bro I love you, but you have no concept of what a poker face is."

Vikram laughed a bit when suddenly he heard a knock on the door. Going to open it, he was surprised to see Lumine with an unfamiliar man.

"Lumine? What is going on?"

"Vikram? I think we need to talk." Lumine said to him.

"Ok but first who is your friend?"

Lumine looked to Vestra looking to what he was going to say as Vestra soon came over to him.

"Hello, the name is Vestra. A… acquaintance that Lumine met in Inazuma." Vestra said to him.

Vikram looked suspicious but soon allowed them in and wondered what this was all about.

Lumine to be frank was still confused herself.

She still didn't know what made Yumi so valuable that Fatui would want to kidnap her. But Vestra seemed to be more knowledgeable on the situation and decided to follow his lead.

"So what is up?"

Vikram asked the question as he introduced them to his sister and her girlfriend and asked what was going on.

"Vikram, tell me what you know about the Fatui?"

"Not much, just that from what I have heard they aren't well-liked and that they work for the Tsarita, the Cryo Archon."

Vestra soon took a big sigh.

"What if I told you that your girlfriend had a connection with the Tsarita herself?"

"Well, I said you are crazy."

Vestra soon sighed but continued.

"Well… first I sort of lied when I first of all… I am part of the Fatui myself."

Hearing that, Sita soon got her sword ready but Vikram told her no. Despite admitting to be part of the Fatui, Vestra didn't seem antagonistic so far and he wanted to hear him out.

"Ok and go on."

"This is a secret that only a select few know about including myself… but it seems…"

Vestra took a final sigh and decided to rip off the band-aid.

"Yumi is the granddaughter of the Tsarita."

Soon a pin could be heard in the house as everyone went silent, including Vestra as he gave Vikram time to absorb this information.

Suddenly Vikram soon broke out into laughter, as if the idea of Yumi being related to one of the most powerful people in Teyvat sounded ridiculous.

Because it did.

"Man! I have to say, you Fatui… your sense of humor is actually underrated I have to admit."

Vestra looked irritated, clearly not happy with Vikram laughing at this.

"You think it is a joke."

"Yes, I do, because it sounds ridiculous. No way that Yumi is the Tsarita's granddaughter."

Vestra soon simply brought out a snowflake pendant, one that the Tsarita said her kin had.

"This… recognize this smart guy?"

Vikram soon stopped laughing and looked at the pendant in shock. It was Yumi's most prized possession, one she only took out when they went somewhere special (which wasn't often but the principle was still the same).

Was… he telling the truth?

Meanwhile, Yumi was relaxing in her room polishing her axe as she looked at her snowflake pendant.

According to the headmaster of the orphanage that both she and Vikram grew up in, this was something that she was born wearing when she showed up at the doors of the orphanage.

It supposedly came from her real family but her adopted dad never really believed that but she had continued to wear itin the hopes that one day she would meet them.

Suddenly, there was a knock on her window which got her attention. She soon decided to open but suddenly there was a chop to her neck knocking her out.

Soon three men, clad in typical Fatui clothes approached her.

"Alright, you two secure her. We need to make sure we get her out of Mondstadt before Vestra finds out what we are up to." The leader of the three grunts said to them.

The two of them nodded as the three one, Klaus soon looked up to the sky. For far too long, his family had been devalued and underappreciated among the Fatui. Once he brought the Tsarita's granddaughter to her, who knows what would happen to him.

Heck, she might just make him a harbinger right on the spot, a thought that certainly excited him to his core.

As he saw Yumi being tied up he soon looked through her room and saw her axe, deciding to take it for herself since she certainly didn't need to be using it for now.

Soon the three slipped out of the room and went into the night as they hoped to be asquiet as possible.

Little did they know, their actions had set thecourse fora shift in power, one that they could not stop nor would even be alive to witness themselves.

And one that most certainly would change the fate of Teyvat forever it would seem so to everyone else.
