RAW is WAR: 13/4/1998

RAW is WAR was live at Corestates Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There was a tag team match about to happen pitting Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor against Aguila & Pantera, however it didn't happen the first time because Vince McMahon comes down to the ring to announce whether he wants to handle Austin the easy way or the hard way. He reminds us that the WWF has been passed down to him from his father and hopes that he can pass the company down to his son and daughter when the time comes. With over fifty years of promoting, the WWF has always been about honor and integrity.

These qualities are sorely lacking in the WWF Champion the Bladewolf, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. He knows the decision he is about to make will not make his father and grandfather happy, but sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. So the answer to Austin's challenge is: "Oh hell yeah."

Cole immediately thinks Vince has no chance. Patterson and Brisco meet Vince on the ramp and pat him on the back for making what they consider to be the right decision. Ross says he is going to do all he can do to make sure this doesn't happen and leaves the announce table.

As the tag team match is set to get underway, it is again interrupted when the lights go out and the bell tolls to signify the arrival of the Undertaker, whose theme begins to play. The arena lights up with the purple lights and out comes the Phenom with purpose, and beside him is his brother, the WWF Champion, the Bladewolf.

"It's the Undertaker! And the Bladewolf!" Cole said. "They're on their way to the ring! It has been a week of hell for these two. Obviously, they must have hate in their hearts after watching the desecration of their parents' graves last week by Kane and Paul Bearer."

The brothers, still enraged from what they witnessed last week with Kane destroying their parents' tombstones and desecrating their graves, storm into the ring and Bladewolf grabs Aquila and Pantera by their throats, lifts them up... AND PLANTS THEM WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!

"WHat the hell are they doing?!" Cole shouted.

The Undertaker assaults Scott Taylot while Brian Christopher wisely gets out of the ring quickly when the Bladewolf storms towards him. The Undertaker grabs Scott Taylor by the throat, lifts him up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

Undertaker barks orders at his brother, who grabs Taylor and lifts him onto his right shoulder, gets him into position upside down in front of him and... DROPS HIM WITH A TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!

"A Tombstone Piledriver!" Cole said.

With bodies everywhere, the Undertaker grabs a microphone and faces the stage with an angered look on his face, his brother standing beside him. "KANE!" The Undertaker shouted, and the crowd cheered at the fury in his voice. "It's time your big brother shows you what evil is all about! No longer are you the hunter, but now you are the hunted! Now, Bladewolf and I can feel your presence in the building, and this night will go on for an eternity until you show your face. It's time, Kane, to come out from the darkness."

The Undertaker's theme plays as he drops the microphone and waits for Kane to appear. Bladewolf adjusts his right elbow pad briefly as he stares intently at the stage with his dark brown eyes, seen in his mask's eyeholes.

RAW is WAR soon went to commercial.

Later, the Headbangers were in the ring as they were getting set for tag team action. However, before that could happen, the lights soon went out and the Undertaker's theme played to a loud pop from the fans.

Once again, the Undertaker and the Bladewolf walked out and made their way down towards the ring. The Bladewolf adjusts his elbow pads on the way down, and slides into the ring, circling the Headbangers as the Undertaker gets into the ring. Mosh attacks the Bladewolf while Thrasher goes for the Undertaker, but the brothers easily overpower them.

"The Undertaker and the Bladewolf! Destroying the Headbangers!" JR said. "These brothers, who have matches at Unforgiven. The Undertaker will face his brother, Kane, in an Inferno match. The ring will be surrounded by fire. And the Bladewolf will face Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship. But why are they out here? Why are they assaulting the Headbangers? They have nothing to do with what Kane did!"

Bladewolf throws a punch at Mosh as Undertaker uppercuts Thrasher, then rams his head off the turnbuckle. He whirls around and grabs Mosh, lifting him onto his shoulder while the Bladewolf climbs to the top turnbuckle, and then jumps off... AND THEY HIT A SPIKE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!

"Oh my God!" JR exclaimed.

"Oh God..." Jerry's eyes widened.

The Bladewolf walks over to the stumbling Mosh, lifts him onto his shoulders in a fireman's carry... AND HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF!

"The Fury of the Wolf!" JR shouted. "The Headbangers are just laid out by these destructive brothers!"

Once again, the brothers stand tall over a carnage-filled scene.

Once again, the lights went out and Kane's theme played this time. The pyro exploded on the stage as Kane walks out with Paul Bearer, stopping on the stage as Undertaker and Bladewolf stare them down.

"Hellfire in brimstone!" JR said. "The most evil human being in WWF history has made his appearance."

"Well, well, well, so you want your little brother, do you?" Paul Bearer questioned. "So you can't wait until In Your House, Unforgiven, can you? I'll tell you what, Deadman. You wanna fight your own flesh and blood, you're gonna do it on Paul Bearer's terms. This is the way it's gonna be; next week, on Monday Night RAW, you are gonna face your brother. But you're not gonna face him inside that ring. You are gonna meet me, and you are gonna meet your little brother in the cemetery."

"huh?" Jerry blinked.

"What?" JR frowned.

"You are so worried about what your dead mommy and daddy think about what you're doing, you can fight your brother right on their... DAMN!... GRAVES!" Paul shouted.

"oh, what a hideous thing to say to a human being!" JR spat, disgusted.

"And we'll just leave you right there, and send you back to hell where you belong. Kane will be there, will you? Bladewolf can be there, if he's not too busy dealing with Stone Cold Steve Austin." Paul continued.

Kane raises his arms and throws them down, making fire explode from the turnbuckles as his theme plays. All the Undertaker and Bladewolf can do is stare down their brother who then leaves with Paul Bearer.

The match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon was ready to get underway.

Shane McMahon comes out to get his dad to change his mind one last time, but there is no changing Vince McMahon's mind. When Austin and McMahon stand face to face, the stooges stand behind McMahon. Austin looks to his left and then to his right and then turns to look at Vince and gets a slap across the face. The whole audience GASPS. Ross is scared to death for McMahon. Austin doesn't lay a hand on Vince and instead starts talking trash.

As they go to their separate corners, Vince gets on the mic and dares to take Austin up on his claim that he could beat him with one hand tied behind his back. Therefore, Vince has brought with him a rope and demands Austin's hand be tied behind his back. Not just either arm, but the STONE COLD STUNNER arm. Awesome. Austin lets Brisco tie his hand behind his back and Vince makes sure it's as tight as he wants it to be. Crowd is going ballistic. Austin and Vince both ask for a HELL YEAH from the crowd.

Vince gets his muscles rubbed down by his stooges and then Brisco puts the icing on the cake by giving Vince a mouth guard. Right before the bell is sounded, Dude Love's music hits and here he comes to the ring.

The Dude doesn't feel all that much love from the Philly crowd tonight. This is a great callback to last July when Dude Love helped out Steve Austin against the Hart Foundation and won the WWF tag titles. He launches into a monologue about how he and Austin are tight, but that McMahon is the one who signs the Dude's paychecks. Dude calls Austin the toughest SOB who could put Vince down on his butt any- oh wait, Vince shoves down the Dude. Once Dude Love stands up, he tells Vince he's made a huge mistake and tries to give him the MANDIBLE CLAW. When Austin comes over to them, Dude turns around and applies the MANDIBLE CLAW on Austin instead! The Dude completely puts Austin down on the mat with the hold while Vince and his stooges look puzzled as they head up the ramp.

At one point though, Vince looks back at Dude Love and calls out to him for a fight. Now it seems Vince wants to fight everybody! While the Dude keeps on beating up Austin, Vince is trying to get into the ring only to be held back. Austin tries to fight the Dude once they get on the floor, but then the Dude throws him into the barricade.

Dude Love rolls back into the ring after beating up Austin. "I guess one thing's for sure, Stone Cold is not that tough after all. If I can peacefully beat him down that easily, then the WWF Champion should be a walk in the park. OWWWW, have mercy!"

Once again, the lights go out and everyone is anticipating the Undertaker, Kane or the Bladewolf's music to hit, However, this time the lights come back on... AND THE BLADEWOLF IS IN THE RING BEHIND DUDE LOVE!

"Uh-oh!" JR exclaimed. "It's the Bladewolf!"

"Look out, Dude!" Jerry shouted.

Dude Love turns around... INTO A GOOZLE! Bladewolf lifts him up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A THUNDEROUS ONE-ARMED CHOKESLAM!

"What a Chokeslam! With just one arm!" JR shouted. The WWF Champion stared down at the Dude, before picking him up. "What's he gonna do now?" Bladewolf lifts him onto his shoulders... AND HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!

"Oh!" Jerry winced.

"The Fury of the Wolf!" JR stated. "The WWF Champion has made his presence known tonight."

Bladewolf gets to his feet, flips his hair back and then raises his arms. He throws them down, and four lightning bolts hit the turnbuckles, causing fire to explode from them as The Devil's Wolf plays and the lights dim to the sinister blood red and dark blue, with RAW going off the air with the image of the Bladewolf standing tall over the form of Dude Love...

And that's it for this chapter. A lot happened in this one. Yeah, I'm keeping Bladewolf involved in the Undertaker/Kane rivalry, it is his brothers after all, but he is also dealing with Stone Cold Steve Austin as well.
