Part 2- Teams unite

Zadavia was pacing back and forth in worry, worried for her Loonatics and what was going on back at Acmetropolis.

Ace Bunny: ZADAVIA! WE GOT GUEST!

She turned fast, her worries melted into awe as she saw the Guardians walked in with the Loonatics.

Zadavia: *awe* T-The Guardians.

Danger Duck: Easy there lady, we just got back from a fight and we are still wrapping our heads.

Tech E. Coyote: Let's not go into mind blown mode.

Zadavia starred for a bit, slowly nodded as she calmed herself.

Ish: *looks around* Nice place.

Ace Bunny: Well it's a work in progress still but it's nice. *sits down with his team* Now then, sorry for stopping you back at Acmetropolis but I figured we could talk without a bunch of eyes on us.

Ash: Good idea and thanks. We're glad to have ran into you guys though, we could use all the help we can get.

Lexi Bunny: You were looking for us to help?

Troy: Oh yeah, no idea who we're dealing with so we needed to find you guys. And by the looks of it you all know full well who.

Tech. E Coyote: OH YEAH. MASTERMIND. She has escaped and already making trouble.

Marty: So she might be the one who nabbed Freefall.

Zadavia: -gasped* SORRY! KIDNAPPED!

All turned to Zadavia, who was shaken at the thought one of their foes had kidnapped a Rusher.

Tua: *nods* Yeah, we we're working on the portal back at the HOK when one of them went haywire.

Troy: Next thing we know Freefall was flung into the portal, Liberty and Stampede tired to stop him but we're K.O.

Ish and Ash nodded as they brought up their NFLRs.

Ash: They are currently in me and Ish's NFLRs, no idea when they will wake up but we figured once they do they would want to find Freefall.

Danger Duck: Here's a good question, WHY A RUSHER OF ALL THINGS?

Rev Runner: YEAH! Mastermind has no reason to kidnap a Rusher so why does she need him?

Zadavia: Could be for anything; collect energy to create a weapon, use his ability to enhance her's-

Tech E. Coyote: *Concern* There, IS ANOTHER REASON I believe.

All turned as Tech removed his mask, the Guardians surprised to see he had changed his fur color to the green color scheme.

Ricky: What do you think she could want with him?

Tech E. Coyote: *Concern* Well; Zadavia theory of wanting his energy, But I think she might be trying to find the truth of our existence. Not humans, but well..us toon, us gaming characters, HOW ARE WE HERE? How did our creators like Walt or Warners made us come to life?

Slam Tasmanian: HOW WE HERE?

Tech E. Coyote: Yes. It was something she was obsess with even before she became Mastermind. No matter what though, the results are the same. It shows us our planet. So why not use a being of energy to finally find the answers, don't think it will do anything to chance the results.

Ricky: Toon world eh? You think the planet might have something to do with the answer?

Tech shrugged at the question.

Tech E. Coyote: Beleive me I wasn't obsess with deep questions like that, just wanted to live what we were made to do-

Danger Duck *scoffs* MADE TA DO. Since we were made we been nothing but the laughing stock of Warners! WE'RE NOTHING BUT A JOKE TA THEM YOU NAME ONE PERSON WHO ENJOYED US?

Guardians: WELL, where to start...

Ace Bunny: *shock* Hold on we got fans?

The Guardians nodded, stunning the Loonatics further.

Ish: Oh yeah, you got fans. Consider a Cult classic cartoon too alongside others shows like "SWAT KATS". Course there's those who think it's not the OG, but your fans find the concept interesting and new.

Troy: Fan art, fan stories, fan comics, you guys got alot of fans-*stops* Uhh you okay?

..The Loonatics had tears in their eyes, shaking at the information. Lexi was sobbing in joy as Slam hugged her, tears basically becoming a waterfall from his eyes.

Rev Runner: *joy* We-We got fans guys...WE GOT FANS! WE'RE NOT FAILURES!

Tech E. Coyote: *shaking laughter* I can't beleive it, people think we're cool.

Danger Duck: All this time we had fans who love us.

Tua: I can't believe you guys didn't' know.

Ace Bunny: -shaky sigh- We really though we didn't have any...

Ace took a breath, calming himself as he and the others also removed their mask; showing that they to had changed their fur to their respected colors on their suits.

Ace Bunny: Alright, much as we need o look into that more, we got bigger fish to fry.

Zadavia: Ace is right, we can look at that once the crisis has ended. *to the Guardians* So with this in mind, you wish for our assistance.

Ish: Yeah, best to work alongside the heroes who know the enemy more than we do-

Ace Bunny: Consider it done.

That got the Guardians attention as the Loonatics got up, a new flame ignited in them along with determination.

Ace Bunny: You have our support. You just gave us the best news we had gotten in decades.

Lexi Bunny: And it's our job to protect others in need to help, course we're gonna do our jobs.

Danger Duck: *smirks* Ya mean saving the world or beating up Loons? Cause the answer is both.

That got the Guardians laughing as they Loonatics walked over.

Tech E. Coyote: Will apologies for dragging you into this, but will admit this is exciting.

Rev Runner: WORKING WITH THE GUARDIANS WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT!

Slam brought everyone into a BIG HUG, surprisingly not crushing their bones.

Slam Tasmanian: FRIENDS!

Marty: *wincing* Y-YEAH, we're all friends here um...Crushing us here.

Zadavia chuckled as Slam dropped them.

Zadavia: Well then Guardians, you have our support in saving your friend.

Ash: Thank you guys very much. Now, where to start?

Ace Bunny: Acmetropolis, when you guys arrived Mastermind attacked so we start there.

Ish: Might be able to find clues on where she is as well, let's head there at once.

Zadavia: I'll try and look for his energy signals here, I should be able to track it with my powers. I shall keep you all posted Guardians and my Loonatics.

They nodded as they suited and headed out running to the portal to the city.

Ace Bunny: HEH, Guardians and Loonatics working together, ain't that something.

Ish: Not the first and won't be the last, trust me when I say meeting all you guys has become second nature to us at this point.

Meanwhile...

Somewhere, in the depths, something was stirring. It had no form nor was a being. It felt disturbed none the less, someone was trying to obtain power that must never be used for ill intention.

...Someone wanted the truth, so be it. If it came to that point, this something would not be afraid to act.

THIS WAS SOMETHING THAT SHOULD NEVER BE PROVOKED.
