warning I suck at impersonating Lindsay and I made a Lindsay and Heather friendship again because I wanted to add a part of the story not Gwuncan revolved and yes, Lindsay and Beth aren't friend because Beth is so rude imo.

"Open the fricking door! Seriously!" Gwen yelled, pounding her fists at the door. She was really trying her best to avoid Duncan the whole night.

As Duncan watched Gwen spit insults and pound on the door at the three, he silently chuckled before getting up. He's had enough watching Gwen trying to gain their attention. "Alright, let me try." Duncan stated, pushing Gwen away. "I'd probably break down the door before you could even make the slightest dent."

Gwen rolled her eyes as she shoved Duncan back. "Uh-huh, coming from the guy who was too chicken to fight a bird." Gwen retorted.

"Oh please, I was just having a heart." Duncan shot back, pushing Gwen aside so he could have room. Once he successfully pushed her out of the way, he cracked his knuckles, preparing himself to make enough noise for someone to notice and open the door... Or to break down the door. Either way, he knew it would be better if he would do it instead of Gwen. "Watch and learn, Sweetheart. Let the experts handle it."

As Duncan was about to punch the door, he heard a thud behind him. When he turned around, he saw Gwen on the floor with a bunch of food items on top of her. So, instead of punching the door down, he decided to help Gwen up. He held his hand out for Gwen to grab onto only for it to be swatted away.

"Don't help me! I don't need help!" Gwen confidently huffed, still stuck in the chaotic pile of food items on her.

In response, Duncan also rolled his eyes and briskly grabbing onto Gwen's arm to halt her up. "Now was that so hard? C'mon, Sweetheart, you can't hate me forever." He pestered with a smile.

"What, you really think of this as a joke? I'm so tired of this. Duncan, you're twenty-one and act the same as when you're sixteen when you had no responsibilities. And seriously, that rep of yours? No one cares! Just grow up!" She furiously snapped, seizing her arm away from Duncan. "You're so fucking annoying."

"And what's you deal then? You get so pressed after every little thing. I'm starting to think you're projecting your feelings onto me." Duncan retorted.

Gwen clenched her hands in order to stop herself from punching Duncan right then and there. "Duncan, I've grown up. I've left this stupid show behind me and moved on. It seems that you haven't since you act the exact same big baby you used to act." She shot back, looking away from Duncan. "Can you just punch down the door or something? I want to get out of here." Gwen added, moving over to the door.

"Not until we actually talk about this." Duncan insisted, grabbing Gwen's arm again.

"What do you exactly want to talk about? About the things you've done?"

Duncan glared down at Gwen, gripping onto her arm as if he was holding on for dear life. "And what did I do, huh? What are you mad about when you broke things off with me? Oh, I'm sorry was always being there for you what pissed you off? " Duncan answered, adding a little witty remark in between. "Because I thought that was a good thing but according to you, it's not. Why? I don't know, why don't I ask Courtney about it since you were so obsessed with her."

"I was not obsessed with Courtney! You were the one who would constantly ask about her!" Gwen exclaimed, jabbing a thumb to Duncan's chest.

"Because you weren't caring, alright? You didn't ever try to think about what was going on with me so I decided to make those comments. I could not care less about Courtney!"

A little thrown off by Duncan's comment, Gwen paused. "What do you mean? What was going on with you?" Gwen questioned, asking more gently. She wasn't in her harsh tone anymore and was now softly talking to him. Duncan lowered his head to the ground and sighed. "What's going on, Duncan? Tell me."

Duncan stepped closer to Gwen as he leaned his head on her shoulder. "Look, I guess I wasn't used to how people saw me back in All Stars. They saw me as... good and it worried me. Like, if I was going to be taken advantage off again... Just like how Elijah and Tony did." He responded, referring to his two older brother. He didn't even bother looking at Gwen because he knew she would be confused. As Duncan spoke, Gwen wrapped an arm around Duncan and patted his back. "I didn't want it to repeat and I guess I got really worried and acted up."

"What did Elijah and Tony do?" Gwen inquired.

"It's complicated." Duncan huffed. Just as he said the words, a can dropped on Duncan's head. A sign to tell the story. Duncan pulled away from the hug and scratched his neck. "Ow! Can we just sit down and maybe talk about it?" He suggested.

Once Heather made her way back to the dance, she saw LeShawna dancing with Lindsay. She hadn't spoken to Lindsay in a while. In fact alongtime. They stopped talking after Lindsay's elimination in Island and resented each other. She even made amends with her biggest rivals in the show: Gwen and LeShawna before making amends with Lindsay. Unfortunately, Heather lived in the same city as Lindsay and had seen Lindsay a lot. This hadn't been the first time they met outside of the show and she felt a little knot in her stomach for what she did years ago.

Lindsay noticed Heather's presence as she pulled Heather to join in. Surprisingly. "Come on, Helene! Join us!" She stated, dancing along.

Heather felt dumbstruck. Lindsay wasn't hating her? "You don't hate me after what happened in season one?"

"Nah! Why would I? That was like forever ago, silly!" Lindsay giggled. "Although if you want to apologise, I could totally have my partner in shopping again! I've always wanted to shop for one of my friends and since you were my first in the show, it could be fun! What do you say?" She nudged Heather.

"Really?" Heather smiled.

LeShawna turned around and noticed Heather came back. "Oh you came back! Where's Gwen gone?"

"Oh, she's busy." Heather responded, crossing her arms. "Haven't you had enough of dancing. You've been at it for ages."

"Only real dancers don't get tired, Sour Puss!" LeShawna exclaimed, dancing along.

Lindsay smiled as she danced along. "Yeah, Harper! Come join us!" She still doesn't knowanyones'name from the show after five years. Unless the name she created for them counts. Except for Tyler's. She has his name engraved in her head. Even after all Tyler's attempts to teach it to Lindsay, she still doesn't understand. The music changed and Lindsay beamed, knowing this song. "Oh, I love this song!"

Back to the pantry room, there Gwen and Duncan sat, leaning their backs against the walls and were surprisingly calm. They weren't yelling at each other and kind of just enjoyed each other's company. "You gonna start explaining yourself?" Gwen joked.

"Oh yeah. Got caught up in a moment where we're not screaming the living shits out of each other." Duncan shot back, smiling down at Gwen. He then took a deep breath, ready to expose one of his deepest secrets. "In simple words, they were the reason why I'm on the run from... the FBI. You knew that alright, right? Well they were the reason." Duncan sighed, looking down in embarrassment. "Jus can't believe I trusted them."

Gwen placed a hand on Duncan's shoulder. "It's alright, Dunc. You don't have to explain if you don't want to."

Duncan glanced back at Gwen with a determined look. "No, I'll explain. I think I around fifteen or at least almost fifteen when Elijah and Tony had an idea. They got me hooked onto burning things and that's how I became a pyro. Anyways, we were all hanging out and playing with fires near a woods and there were a couple of houses near it. Tony was trying to show me a new trick when he accidentally caught one of the houses on fire. So, we buried the sticks we used to make fires and rushed off. We couldn't leave a trace but it turns out Tony burnt down a whole street and no one died but a lot were hurt." Duncan explained. "Now to the part where they betrayed me. My pops knew that we always hung out by that place and he also knew we were there that night and confronted my older brothers and they blamed me for it. Luckily, we were well off so my pops donated some money to those who lost their house to 'compensate for their losses' but one of the person's house belonged to an FBI agent. My family moved to Canada and that's how me and him never got along. Neither did me or my so-called brothers as they became my pop's 'golden child' while I was the disappointment. We haven't been caught but I'm just... scared if the cast would use my new 'changes' against me." Duncan explained.

"Duncan, I-um-I'm sorry about that. That's awful. Um... here." Gwen stated, embracing Duncan in a hug.

"I just don't understand, Gwen. I started changing that season and I couldn't understand how that happened because it used to seem so normal and then... I felt like I lost myself." Duncan added.

Still hugging him, Gwen started understanding Duncan's so-called problem. "Look Duncan, you're growing up. You were changing because you were making progress on your own which might've shocked the others at first. I mean, the last time they say you, you cheated on international television. It's fine if you're changing. Got that?" Gwen reassured.

"So why did that become a problem to you when I started changing?" Duncan questioned.

"I didn't have a problem with you, Duncan." Gwen huffed out in frustration. "I was mad at myself because of the things I did to Courtney. It wasn't right, Duncan and I wasn't going to live myself with that guilt. And if I'm going to be honest, I needed someone to talk to and yes, you were there for me but at the same time you seemed busy with other things like your image and Courtney.. Duncan, you really didn't know how much it hurt to see you still like her."

Cringing at the name, the two pulled away at the hug, staring at each other. "That was because I didn't know what was going on with you so I guess I tried to get you to at least give me a reaction." Duncan admitted, gazing away at the foolish idea. "Lame but I thought you would finally listen and pay attention to me." He lightly chuckled.

"I guess we both made mistakes, huh? I'm sorry for ignoring you and stuff. That was very uncalled for." Gwen apologised, lowering her head.

"Yeah? Well, I'm sorry for making you think I was still into Courtney." Duncan commented, placing a hand under Gwen's chin and raised it to make her look at him. He sent a small smile as Gwen returned one as well. "At least now I know how jealous you can be."

While making a fake gag expression, Gwen laughed as she playfully shoved Duncan. "As if, Duncan. Gross." She snickered.

She soon stopped when she saw Duncan's smile widen and her's widened too. Silence filled the air. It was like when they were in the confessionals in World Tour. The comfort of each other and the intimacy increased as the two slowly inched closer and closer..

"You guys can come out now!" Geoff interrupted, not realising what was going on. "You guys finally talked it out?"

DJ also peaked through to see how close Gwen and Duncan were thinking and his eyes widened. "Oh sorry for interrupting. Geoff and I will give you guys youralone time." DJ stated, about to walk out the pantry with Geoff.

To ensure DJ and Geoff didn't get the wrong idea, Gwen and Duncan halted up to reassure they weren't together or doing anything.

Geoff smirked and raised an eyebrow. "You sureeee? I mean, it's not a bad thing." Geoff teased.

The teasing only made situations more awkward to Gwen and Duncan as they started warming up. A tint of blush on their faces. Well, not Gwen's. It waswaymore than just a tint.

"I've got to go!" Gwen stated, running off. When she stopped, she saw LeShawna, Heather and Lindsay all sitting on barstools having a couple of drinks. Heather however was. smugly grinning at Gwen. That was because Gwen was still flushed red and it seemed really noticeable. "What are you smirking about?" Gwen questioned.

"Hey Gwenda!" Lindsay waved.

hasn't learnt my name.

LeShawna placed her drink down to talk. "Now where'd you go, girl? You missed a whole lotta my moves!"

It was around 4 a.m. when people slowly started heading home. One of them was Gwen who decided to head home. After saying her goodbyes, she stepped out of the house to see Duncan waiting outside with a stupid grin. Gwen looked up at him, confused what he was doing here as she crossed her arms and said:

"What are you doing here?" She inquired. "Here to torment everyone who walks out the door?"

Duncan snickered because that was exactly what he was doing. But that wasn't the whole reason why. "How'd you figure it out, Pasty? Was it that obvious?" He commented, shuffling Gwen's hair. "Well Heather told me that you were going soon so I rushed over here to get here before you could get here so I could be the first to say happy birthday."

"Well you aren't the first one. You were... The eighth one." Gwen responded.

Laughing along, Duncan had a little idea pop inside him. This was the exact spot they were last time. "Well, I was planning on sealing that little kiss from earlier. I bet I'm the first one asking you about that."

Eyes widened, Gwen stared at the snow as she started heating up again but composed herself. "Nah, Cody also beat you to it."

"You were planning on kissinghim?" Duncan snickered. "You could do so much better than that but if you do consider Cody as a potential future, just hold on a second before I beat Cody to the pulp. Just so you would actually date someone in your standard. Not someonethatlow." Duncan said, describing about himself when he's talking about how Gwen needs something in her standards.

"Oh really? Who would be that person in my 'standards'." Gwen finger-quoted.

"Um.. me? Obviously. Who do you think? Someone like Trent? Ha!" Duncan claimed.

Gwen raised an eyebrow at Duncan's over-the-top cockiness. "Wow, I wouldn't have guessed you thought my standards werethatlow. Lower than Cody low." She retaliated.

"Har-ha, Gwen. You know you miss me and would get back with me in a heartbeat. Too bad my standards aren'tthatlow either." Duncan's scoffed, not fully meaning the second sentence. He noticed Gwen looking up and also looked up to see a mistletoe. He looked back at Gwen and grinned. "Now we'll see who's the better kisser. Cody or someone so much better. Aka: m-mmph!"

Duncan was cut off by Gwen throwing herself onto Duncan kissing Duncan square on the lips. Duncan responded by wrapping an arm around her and kissing back under the mistletoe.

I FINISHED GOD THAT TOOK SO LONG I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT THE STORY

And also, Gwuncan wins in the end!
