New Devil of The Gremory House

Life 66: Normalcy

Devil

The Beast Riot.

That's what they were calling this complete and utter ravaging of the Underworld at the hands of both the batch of Anti-Monsters created by the Annihilation Maker and the Bijū unleashed by the Hero faction.

The beasts had been whisked away from the control of the Khaos Brigade without the permission of the rest of the organization. Technically there was no real structure to the organization, and there certainly wasn't a sign-out sheet for taking in and returning the Bijū.

But the little wannabe heroes had absconded with every Bijū they had left in their possession after losing nearly half of them in their hare-brained attempt to attack Kyoto.

They had lost kaiju privileges, and it looked like it was up to him to teach them a lesson.

"Okay folks, let's go out there and reclaim our fuzzy buddies! Remember, if you have to kill some children along the way, that's okay!"

"Um, sir, why are we interfering? Even if this attack is being perpetrated by those humans-"

"Why would we step in when we can be assured that the damage this attack causes will destabilize and endanger the Underworld like we want? Is that what you're asking?"

"Y-Yes-"

A magical beam shot straight through the nameless Devil's head and he toppled over dead. The other Devils flinched and lowered their heads in fear as their leader pouted and dramatically blew on his fingers, "What's the point in destroying everything if we aren't the ones doing it? Think before you speak, stupid."

The dead body among them didn't respond except for a spurt of blood through the back of his head.

"As long as you've learned your lesson," The sickeningly sweet, clearly fake kindness in the man's voice would have unsettled others. But the group was so used to his diabolical whims that they immediately ignored their slain comrade and focused on the task ahead, "Now then, let's go reclaim-"

The group froze in fright, only the leader turning around to face their sudden guest, "Oh, I didn't expect to be graced by the presence of someone so grand." The mocking tone of the leader was followed by a show bow he mechanically changed the bend of with a confused expression, "Do you prefer a bow like this? Or like this? Or do most of your devotees lay their heads down when they pray?"

"I suggest you stop pushing your luck before I respond in kind," Indra warned in a grim tone, stepping forward and causing the weaker Devils to cower while lowering their heads. Indra focused only on the man who didn't back down or shake under his intense glare, "Whatever you were going to do, you should stop now. Step down and walk away before you get hurt."

The unflinching man leaned towards the side, looking past Indra and towards the havoc being wreaked on the horizon. Realization crossed his face, "Oh, the True Longinus boy is your ward or something, right? Of course, you wouldn't want any undue harm to come to someone you hope will grow into a valuable ally and trustee for the future, right?"

"If you understand that, then stand down and go back into hiding."

"No."

Indra silently bristled in response.

"I don't care whether the brat you're grooming is a useful tool or not. Those toys he took are for the whole class - not just for him and his friends. So we're going to have to teach him a thing or two. Maybe slaughter him and the others - I'm not sure - we're keeping it loose at the moment." The insane, irreverent man saw Indra's fury building, "Hey, you should have made boundaries a little clearer. When I was grooming my grandson into a soulless machine of death and carnage bent only to my will I warned him that if he was ever going to steal something from a vengeful, vindictive motherfucker such as myself, make sure to kill them so they can't follow. Looks like your boy didn't quite take that advice."

"So I should just kill you to settle this now?"

"You can try." He shrugged nonchalantly at the threat the Hindu God threw at him, "But these followers of mine are loyal and disciplined. They'll throw themselves at you so I can get away."

"I can wipe them all out before finally reaching you."

"Won't matter." He attempted to smile charmingly, "I just need to get away for a few seconds to grab the True Longinus kid and tear him limb from limb. And I can do that before you kill me." Even as Indra continued to glare and edge the precipice of attacking, the smarmy man remained calm and unbothered, "Look, no matter what you do to me, this will all end the same way; me killing that boy of yours. He made a move he shouldn't have - taking all of our experiments before we could have a chance to find more uses for them. Those dipshits from the Old Maou faction fucked up first, but your little golden boy has been fucking up harder. And instead of letting him hide behind your shadow and influence, you should have been warning him about making enemies he can't handle yet."

"He's got a lesson coming his way, Indra-chan. And we deserved recompense for how much he's been screwing up running roughshod like this."

Indra closed his eyes, reigning in his heightened emotions before looking at the Devil across from him, "You're not going to touch him."

The other Devils rose to prepare for a fight but their leader raised his hand to halt them, "But?"

"But…" The King of Heaven wanted to bite his lip in frustration but refused to show such a sight to others. He reached aside, his hand disappearing through the air of reality like he stuck his hand through an invisible veil. When he drew it out it was with something between his fingers, his arm extending out and offering it to the Devil, "But how about you take this in return?"

It was an animal ear. A pointed, hairy, severed animal ear.

The Devil stepped in, inspecting the ear and sensing the mighty residual energies coming off of it. He whistled in shock and awe, "This is one hell of a piece to be parting with. Are you sure you're okay letting me have it?"

"Do you care?"

"Nope!" He happily snatched the severed ear from the God's hand and smiled a toothy grin while inspecting it, "I would have liked to harvest a little more meat from those beasties but I think this is a satisfactory substitute. Hmm, but just how much will bringing back a being as strong as this take out of the poor little girl? And do I care? Nope! Let's move!"

"Wait." The Devil and his people stopped as Indra spoke up to get their attention. With the destruction of the Underworld happening behind him, the God lifted his sunglasses and glared at the Devil, "This…all of this…I hope it brings a battle. A great bout that I can join and truly enjoy to the best of my abilities. And you? If you had these beasts…and now with that ear…can you promise a fight I will never forget?"

"Hmm…" The Devil thought deeply while slapping the severed animal's ear against his cheek, "I'm sure there are going to be a lot of tough and great fights to occur in the future. But fighting…can't say that's what I'm aiming for."

"And what are you aiming for?"

"Death. Destruction. Decimation. Just…just ruining everything." The Devil stared at Indra unblinkingly before he giggled, "Heh, it just sounds like fun."

As Indra watched him and his goons disappear, his stomach turned uneasily. He wasn't afraid to fight such simple and weak creatures. Even that man - so much stronger than the rest of his kind - was someone Indra knew he could match.

Yet still…he unnerved the God unlike any other.

With a disgruntled sigh, Indra slipped his glasses back on and turned to see the destruction. No matter what there was one thing Indra couldn't deny…

He had to discipline Cao Cao for this recklessness.

Devil

"Ready?"

"Ready."

"Let's go!"

Gasper, Rossweisse, Akeno, Xenovia, and Yuuto all took stances to fight. The Neo-Jinchūriki among them made their connections to their partners and claimed some of their power. They waited in anticipation while Rias stood behind them, closing her eyes and focusing as she started gathering Destruction in front of her hands.

Across from them, Issei donned his Scale Mail armor and raised his gauntlet into the air. He gripped his fist, "Do it, Ddraig!"

[True Queen! Crimson Cardinal Promotion!]

Issei's armor hardened and glowed brightly before settling down, becoming a darker shade of red until it was as crimson as blood. Even the green jewels and wings around his body had been emblazoned red with the burst of power. It was the strongest form he could currently use after claiming the full power of his Sacred Gear and helping the tortured souls of the Boosted Gear's Juggernaut Drive pass on.

Now in his strongest form and standing against his friends, he slammed his fists together, "Here I come!"

Yuuto stepped forward, swinging his hand up and drawing the iron sand out of the ground like a tsunami wave of grey. He gripped his hand and tightened the wave of iron sand into the shape of swords, whipping out his hand and sending them flying at Issei.

The [Pawn] dashed aside and avoided the first wave of attacks. The moment he was in the air, he found wave after wave of lightning and water attacks coming at him from all angles. He dove and rose through the air, rushing and weaving his way through the onslaught of elemental attacks. He barreled his way through, dodging most of the attacks coming his way-

He stopped midair. Gasper having used his Sacred Gear to freeze him. He was too strong for it to hold for much longer than a second, but a second was all they needed.

The lightning and water in the air laced together, forming a magical circle that bristled with conflicting powers. A lance of the two elements shot out and slammed into Issei's prone back, knocking him out of the air and slamming him into the ground with tremendous force. Even after the powerful collaborative move, Issei wasn't any worse for wear and picked himself up.

Just in time for Xenovia and Yuuto to rush in from two sides in a pincer to catch him off guard. The speedy [Knights] swung down at his neck, forcing Issei to lurch back and avoid their attack. They turned and chased after him, Yuuto trying to trip him up with pitfalls of sand while Xenovia never let up with Kokuō's power backing her up.

"NOW!"

Rias raised the giant orb of Destruction like no other, a mix of crimson and black that caused the particles of dirt in the air to swirl toward its attractive force. She raised her hands and aimed the attack up at Issei, "Issei! Here it comes!"

"Right!" Xenovia and Yuuto dipped aside and cleared the way. Issei chambered his hand to his side, gathering an extraordinary amount of Demonic Power as it glowed bright in his palm. He yelled and pointed down-

"DRAGON SHOT!"

"EXTINGUISHED STAR!"

The beam of green energy shot down and collided with the orb of Destruction. Even with the extraordinary power of the Red Dragon behind it, the black orb slowly inched through the beam of power he shot. It completely erased the beam from existence little by little as it went higher into the air. Everyone watched in amazement as it got halfway through Issei's attack before reaching its zenith-

Rias' attack cracked and shattered before it could go any further. The intense explosion of power that followed forced Issei to call off his attack before he could get hit by the blowback. The wind died down and the moment finally passed as everyone who was watching the match was stunned by the amount of power being thrown around.

"W-Whoa," Irina muttered, "I can't believe Rias-San was able to match an attack from Issei-kun."

"Is anyone hurt?" Asia asked urgently after the excitement of the moment had passed, "Does anyone need any healing?"

"I'm good."

"Thanks, Asia." Xenovia sighed before looking back at Issei, "We all swarmed in on you and you're barely even winded, are you?"

"This form is so much stronger than my standard Balance Breaker. It's incredible." With a quick glow of light his armor reverted to its standard form as he let out a strained breath, "But it's so much harder to maintain than my regular Scale Mail. And I'm so tired I don't think I'll be able to use my standard Balance Breaker for a bit."

Akeno nodded and hummed, "So what you're saying is that if we wanted to attack you, now would be our best chance?"

"P-Please don't joke about that, Akeno-San."

"Rias-San, what about you?" Rossweisse looked back at their [King] curiously after her big attack. Everyone else turned to see that the redhead was catching her breath and wiping the sweat off her cheek after conjuring so much power in one place, "That was a remarkable technique you've come up with. It was able to cut off a full power attack from Issei-kun and his new form."

"Yep," Rias nodded after catching her breath, exhaling, and looking around at the dust and crackled ground that had been kicked up by the force of her new technique, "The most intense and powerful concentration of Destruction I can manage right now. Enough power to probably erase anything in its path and I've even figured out how to give it a gravitational pull that draws things into it. The only problem…"

"Is that it takes so long."

"Right." Rias snapped her fingers and pointed to her [Queen] when she finished her thought, "It takes forever, it's draining, and there's no way I'll be able to properly utilize this in battle without the support of a team to guard me while I do."

"Don't worry, Buchou! I'll make sure to protect you long enough to use your new technique!" Gasper said, "We can defeat anyone if we work together like this!"

Rias smiled warmly and gently rubbed Gasper's head, "Thank you, Gasper." She let out a tired groan as she shook her head, "It wouldn't be so bad if I had something else to use in my arsenal to help fend off an enemy while I get this technique going, but other than my normal attacks I don't have much else."

"What about your link to Kurama-San?"

"That?" Rias channeled the fox's energy and opened her now red, vulpine eyes, "I still haven't figured out the proper way to use this power. It doesn't bolster my strength or speed. It doesn't boost my attack by a strong enough margin. Compared to the rest of you, I haven't figured out the best way to utilize this power in battle, or at all."

"Don't be too hard on yourself, Rias-San." Irina said, her eyes slowly lowering as her expression became sour and downcast, "At least when you connect to your partner your wings don't start skittering around like a bug."

"At least your Bijū partner connects with you." Ravel glumly muttered, "Sōn Goku-San is still as stubborn and unresponsive as ever."

"At least you guys get a chance to bond." Gasper folded in on himself, scrunching up on the ground with his arms wrapped around his knees, "They won't even look at me. For some reason, they're unsettled by the idea of forming a connection with me." The little Dhampir whimpered before reaching into his pocket and unfolding his paper bag to snugly hide his head in, "It's not fair."

Akeno walked up to Rias' side while they watched the trio devolve into a mass of depression, "You see that, Rias? That's a real reason to sulk right there."

"Shut up."

"If you're looking for new attacks to use, why not ask Naruto-senpai? Take a page out of Koneko-chan's book while you're at it."

The ORC looked over where Naruto was training separately with the short [Rook]. The white-haired Nekomata had her eyes closed, intensely focusing on the task at hand as she overlapped her hands together.

As she drew her hands away from each other, it was to show a ball of flame forming in between her palms. She tried to keep the flames continuous, making them rapidly spin and rush over each other as she used one hand to keep them inward and her other hand to stop them from overflowing. Her expression tensed as she tried harder and harder to increase the powers of the flames-

The thing she was creating popped between her hands and sent them flying back violently. Koneko stumbled on her feet and Naruto caught her with a gentle hand on the back to keep her steady. She let out a small exhale from the tiring experience, "That is a lot tougher than you make it look."

"It's easier once you get the whole thing down. After that, it sorta pops into place in your head. And it'd probably be a lot easier if you used the rubber ball like I did."

"But Matatabi's flames burned through that rubber like it was nothing so that's pointless. Remember the smell?"

"Of burning plastic?" He grimaced, "Hard to forget. What if you used your other energies instead?"

Koneko blew a breath through her lips and leaned back into him, "I can't project my energies as thoroughly like that. Certainly not enough to form a mass I can use to attack like you." She snapped her fingers and conjured a flame over the tips, "Matatabi's fire is the best form of power I can mold freely."

"No worries," He smiled and patted her head gently between her ears, "If we ask Azazel I'm sure he can come up with something to use instead of a plastic ball like that." He snapped his fingers, "Easy."

"Maybe, but I don't want to distract him while he's working on that project for your parents."

"Please, that guy is always looking for a reason to multi-task. Drop this on his lap and he'll thank us."

"Such a baseless generalization! I am appalled, young man! But a metallic orb to withstand the rush of powerful swirling flames until a point of explosive release. I made something like that before so I'll go take a look for you."

The ORC looked up as Azazel descended towards them with his wings outstretched. The moment he landed his wings retreated in and he greeted them with a smile, "How's the training going?"

"All good on this front." Rias responded, "We're testing our limits again and Issei's getting a handle on his new form."

"That's good to hear. With all that new power of his, it'll become a serious trump card if we can get him to control it."

"I'm fine with it! I just need to practice and maintain the Scale Mail and we'll be fine! That's not the issue!" Issei lamented, teeth mashed together as frustrated tears streamed down his face, "Sensei! I've been practicing like you said! Trying to control this new power! But it's taking too long! I was promised joy and nirvana after I was promoted but this damn body of mine won't cooperate!" Issei fell to his knees, slamming his fists into the ground and cracking the reinforced floor as his power swelled, "I want the nookie I was promised!"

"No can do, dear young friend of mine." Azazel said poetically while dramatically dropping to a knee beside the inconsolable [Pawn, "We can't risk letting you get careless when such unfathomable power like this can be aroused so easily - not using that how you think by the way." He pointed out as some of the kids rolled their eyes, "So we have to take the proper precautions before your arousal goes out of control - using it how you think." He added with a smirk, "Which means we need to double your training efforts! Ophis!"

"N-No!" Issei panicked, "Ophis, don't-"

He couldn't get another word out before the Dragon God embraced him with her suddenly gigantic chest. The little gothic girl had instantly grown into a curvaceous, busty older woman to continue the training needed to keep Issei's newfound strength under control. The Red Dragon Emperor went limp in her grasp with his face buried in her cleavage.

Naruto raised a hand, "How was this supposed to help him control his urges again?"

Azazel shrugged, "I'm sure it made sense at the time. Anyway," He continued like it was nothing, "Rias, I'm happy to let you know that I've set up that meeting with the magical association head like you requested."

"With Mephisto Pheles-sama? Excellent." Rias clapped her hands joyously as she stepped forward and turned to face her peerage, "Everyone, as you have been promoted, gained fame for your talents in the Underworld, and secured yourselves as capable young Devils we are now going to establish the next step of your journey; creating a contract with a Magician."

Devil

Naruto hummed a jaunty tune as he worked behind the counter of his ramen shop and felt grateful for such a great turn in fortune for his life.

Things were looking very good with the fight against the Hero faction settled and the predominant power of the Khaos Brigade taken down.

Life moved on after the fight had settled, and it was pretty damn good now. The Bijū's safety was secured and they were thriving now living their lives how they wanted and without challenge. He had been promoted to Middle-Class Devil, and with the help of some clones walking around late at night he had secured plenty of new contracts and clients for his services. Things were looking up!

Of course, it wasn't great for everyone. Issei's problem with control over his new power was still a persistent issue he couldn't handle when he started getting horny. It was hard to figure out if Ophis' conditioning was helping or hindering his progress. And even Asia and Ravel were getting antsy - waiting for the time to come when they could finally give him the rewards he'd earned for getting his promotion.

Rias was also feeling a little frustrated as of late. After multiple attempts trying to utilize Kurama's new influence and find her niche in using his power, she had come up short. The [King's] dissatisfaction was only compounded by the fact she moved around the halls on her tiptoes, trying to make sure Kuroka didn't sneak up on her. Even after finally coming to some semblance of peace with the tryst they had, the time Kuroka snuck up behind her and whispered Ria-tan in her ear had her on edge ever since.

And, of course, there was the special project with Azazel that had become such a prevalent part of his nighttime routine. Since his first test run, Azazel had managed to create some more of the chakra storage devices for him to use. Using his Balance Breaker to revert to his younger self, created several clones for each device, and each one storing a copy of his parents' chakra was gathering a greater amount of their chakra for the experiment than initially scheduled. Naruto suggested that Azazel create hundreds of storage devices for him to use, but the Fallen Angel denied the idea. He said Naruto was already risking exhaustion by using his Balance Breaker to take energy from multiple versions of himself over and over again.

There was a bit of fatigue that occurred when Naruto was done using his Balance Breaker, but what amount of exhaustion wasn't permissible when he was doing something so important?

But he relented. When Rias, Koneko, and Xenovia cornered him on the bed and told him to take his time he knew he couldn't be reckless. So only once per day with a dozen clones could he secure the energy needed to push the project forward.

"Hey, Naruto, people are coming." Saiken said from the front of the store from where he was clearing off the table, "Four of them."

"Thanks, Saiken." He thanked his Bijū employee before turning to Gyūki, "You could handle the ramen preparation this time around? I can help if you want."

"I'm good for this part." The Bijū in the tall human body said with a smirk as he started unloading a new batch of noodles into the broth, "I'll let you know if I need any help."

Naruto smiled and nodded in agreement. As he saw the group of four walk in he greeted them with a nod, "Hello, welcome to our shop! How can I - oh?"

"E-Eh?" Naruto was surprised to see four young girls walk into his ramen shop so unexpectedly. Not just four girls but four complete newcomers who had never been here before. A group of middle-schoolers of all things…and one he happened to recognize, "U-Uzumaki-senpai?"

"Oh, aren't you-"

"What's up, Zekka-chan? You look like you just ate a drop of wasabi. What are – oh! Hi there!" The shorter girl with pink hair by Zekka's side spotted Naruto behind the counter and greeted him with a big smile and wave, "Hello there, Naruto Uzumaki-senpai! I didn't know you worked at this place!"

"It's pretty nice," A young lady with silver hair and teal highlights noted while looking around, her hands in her jacket pockets, "A little out of the way but the smell from this place is so nice you can't help but wanna try it."

The last girl, a blonde young lady with a noble demeanor and an eyepatch over her eye, looked at the whiskered man behind the counter with a contemplative look, "So that is Naruto Uzumaki? Hm, I never thought I would meet the man who defeated him, let alone in a domicile of noodles and broth like this."

"Oh, you're that girl Rias introduced me to the other day. Um…sorry, I can't recall your name."

"Z-Zekka Miyamoto." The dark-haired girl shyly said, her eyes lowered meekly with a small flush to her cheeks as she and her friends made their way up to the counter, "I-It's nice to meet you again, Uzumaki-senpai."

"Zekka-chan, you didn't tell me you already knew Uzumaki-senpai!" The pink girl charged ahead without hesitation, taking a seat up at the empty counter and holding out her hand, "Hi, I'm Avi Amon! The third daughter of the Amon family and the club president for the OSSC!"

"Nice to meet you."

"Sona-senpai told us that if we wanted to try a nice place to eat this ramen shop wasn't too far from the school."

"Oh, Sona told you about us. Then pull up a chair and have a look at the menu."

The rest of the group of girls joined Avi at the front counter as Avi tilted her head curiously, "Uzumaki-senpai, I didn't know you worked at a place like this. Is it alright for us to talk here? I don't wanna cause trouble here in case," She looked around suspiciously before whispering, "In case there are people who don't know about your other life."

Naruto scoffed and chuckled, startling the younger girls before he shook his head, "No worries, I own this place. And everyone here working for me isn't human."

"You own this place?!"

"Yep, and Naruto's been nice enough to let us work shifts here to get used to being human." Gyūki said from where he was preparing the food, "I'm a giant bull monster with tentacles from a different world that was causing havoc in the Underworld a few weeks back."

"And I'm a giant slug. Menu?"

The girls all took the menus Saiken offered…but Zekka looked a little perturbed to know he was actually a giant slug.

"So, I guess I know these two now…but what about you two?"

"I'm Schwertleite." The silver-haired fashionable girl said, her cheek resting on her hand as she watched Naruto with an interested gaze, "If that's too hard to pronounce just call me Schwert. I imagine a name like Rossweisse is easier to remember."

"You know Rossweisse?"

"Not on a personal level, but back home she's regarded with great pride and honor. She achieved a role and position many people my age one day hope to reach."

"You're a Valkyrie?"

Schwert giggled cutely, "No, a Valkyrie is a position of status earned through hard work and achievement. But I am a Walkure like she is."

"Walkure?" Naruto repeated the word, trying to commit it to memory if it was the name of Rossweisse's race. He nodded appreciatively to the young girl, "Thanks for telling me that."

"No problem!" Schwert grinned before reaching into her bag and pulling out a small notebook. She trembled with excitement, "If you're willing to return the favor, can I get your autograph?"

He smirked, "I thought I saw some Oppai Dragon merch on your skirt."

"Hehe, I'm a big fan." Schwert acted surprisingly innocent and giddy as Naruto took her notepad and started writing his signature, "I loved your original story arc in the main show, and I wanna see where your character goes next in your new show!"

"There's a second show?!" Zekka was absolutely mortified to hear another show had branched off from Oppai Dragon. That sickening program based around the armored warrior, the many monsters and villains he fought, and the ludicrous power of giant, bouncing breasts that encompassed every second of the show and even her thoughts, "P-Please tell me there aren't as many breasts in this show as O-Oppai Dragon."

"Oh no, Adventures of the Lazy Sage is way different. It's a thoughtful, contemplative look at outsiders trying to find meaning in their lives while exploring new sections of the world and expanding their personal views on it." Schwert giggled, "Although there are still tons of ecchi scenes with the step-sister and the two ditzy Exorcists who have tons of Les Yay energy going on at all times."

"Y-Yeah, I don't know about that." He finished signing and handed the notepad back to the young Walkure, watching with a chuckle as she spun in her seat and giggled with delight at getting another signature from her favorite franchise. He walked back to the middle of the counter and looked at the stone-faced, eyepatch-wearing blonde girl to round up their little group, "And what about you?"

"I am Lilebette D'Artagnan Lunaire, the newest member of OSSC and a recent transfer student after Zekka." She bowed her head respectfully, "I have heard a lot about you, Naruto Uzumaki."

"You have?"

"Your name turned up a lot…in the Hero faction…for the short time I was a member." Naruto and the others' faces tensed and puckered like they had eaten plums. They waited in silence before Lilebette nodded, "I was never truly integrated into the faction, and I have since renounced my allegiance to them. So if you're worried that I may come for revenge or payback, you needn't worry."

"Oh," Naruto relaxed, breathing a sigh of relief, "That's good. I imagine there wasn't anything good to be said about me in those conversations."

"They certainly admired your strength, but no, nothing flattering." Lilebette nodded, "I did however hear other stories of you since coming to this school."

"Oh yeah?"

"Indeed. Rumors from the high school students and the recounting of your magnificent romp with a third party from Rias Gremory herself."

The shop was quiet as Naruto stared blankly at the blonde girl after hearing what she said. He blinked mechanically before looking over the counter. Avi nodded in agreement while Schwert had a cheeky grin and just smiled in response. The only one of them that reacted normally was Zekka, lowering her gaze as her face turned bright red at the talk of strangers having intercourse her friends were bringing up. Naruto closed his eyes and took a breath before speaking, "She told you about that?"

"Yeah, Rias-senpai was super freaked out after what happened and came to us for advice on a few things." Avi said.

Naruto rubbed the bridge of his nose, "She had this conversation with a group of middle-schoolers?"

"Everyone else apparently found it too funny to take the conversation with her seriously." Lilebette informed, "I must say I have many different sources of information about you, Naruto Uzumaki. There's the Hero faction that saw you as such a great threat. There are the people around our school afraid of you and spreading rumors of the greatest delinquent in Kuoh history."

"And now there's the first-hand retelling of your escapades with the hottest girl in school and a sexy cat girl as well." Schwert giggled, "I guess I can understand why all the people in school aren't calling you the greatest delinquent anymore but 'the luckiest fucking guy who ever lived FUCK why does this guy get to kiss Gremory-sama - it's not fair' guy now."

"There's no way they're calling me that."

"Yep."

"It's indeed true."

"We heard it while we were walking around the high school campus."

"Ughhhhhhh." He doubled over and groaned into his hands. Why were things starting to get out of hand?

"Heh, hey, Miyamoto-San," Schwert looked down the counter at the quiet, well-endowed girl who looked so embarrassed even being part of the conversation, "Maybe you should take some pointers from Uzumaki-senpai? He's learned to handle his derelict reputation pretty well and branch out. You could always try starting a relationship with the prettiest girl in school too."

"I think that'd be Lile-chan, right?"

"Oh?" Lilebette nodded, "I'm agreeable to that if you want to pursue it, Zekka."

Zekka stammered, "C-Can we move away from this train of thought, please?!"

"I agree with Zekka-chan! How about four house specials, for free, as long as we talk about something else!" Naruto rapidly drummed on the counter before nervously laughing, "H-Hey Gyūki, let's get these girls some ramen! Quickly! Right now!"

As the younger girls watched the whiskered [Pawn] frantically cook up their meal so they would stop talking, Schwert giggled, "If we get free meals out of saying stuff like this maybe we should bring it up more often?"

"Schwert-chan, that's in bad taste."

"Yo, Uzumaki-senpai!"

"Pour us a few bowls because we are hungry!"

As Naruto frantically worked with Gyūki at his side, Motohama and Matsuda barged into the shop announcing their arrival. Not far behind them were Issei, Asia, Yuuto, Xenovia, Irina, Koneko, Gasper, Kiryuu, and Shukaku in human form.

"Saiken! Why didn't you tell me more people were coming?!"

"Sorry. I was enthralled by the dialogue you were having with your juniors."

"AAAHHHHH!"

Although things were hectic and truly chaotic…he couldn't exactly say this wasn't a picture-perfect example of the life he was happy to live now.

As the members of the ORC looked over the countless forms and papers they had been supplied, no one paid any attention to the twelve younger versions of Naruto sitting in a circle with chakra around their bodies and storage devices in their hands. After a few minutes of intense thought, the chakra they were trying to collect rushed into the storage devices as the two lights glowed softly inside. With a sigh, the younger versions of Naruto placed their storage devices on the ground before the clones popped out of existence.

As he glowed and returned to normal, Rias looked up from the papers in her lap and fixed her glasses, "Gathered enough for the day?"

"Yep, this should be good for the batch." He said while looking down at the dozen gadgets, "I'm not sure how many more of these it's going to take but I hope they're useful."

"I've gotten a chance to look over Azazel-sensei's work, Naruto-kun." Rossweisse informed, "Once he and the Grigori have enough of your parent's energy to form a blueprint with their sources, they'll be building human bodies from scratch. It should be easier to make human bodies for actual people instead of forming them for the Bijū, it'll just be an effort of making sure the bodies and souls integrate properly."

"A lot of work left to do, huh?!" Naruto sighed and stretched his arms, "Well, I guess I should get some rest-"

"Hey!" They all piped up and complained before he could walk away and escape the importance of the task they were working on, "Naruto-senpai, it's not fair that you get to skip out while the rest of us have to look up Magician partners!"

The blond looked down at the pile of files and paperwork marked specifically for him and groaned. Azazel had gotten them in touch with Mephisto, the leader of the Magic Association with plans to get them acquainted with Magicians they could make partner contracts with. It was an important next step to take as Devils making a name in the Underworld.

Their group along with Sairaorg Bael, Sona Sitri, and Seekvaira Agreas had proven the most capable of the young generation and were getting the most attention. Mountains and mountains of paperwork were dropped on their laps consisting of Magician reports, profiles, and benefits to working with them.

"Ugh, this is too much paperwork!" Naruto groused, "Can't I just make my clones do it?"

"Summon your clones and we'll pop them."

"Unless you let them read through all of our offers it isn't fair that you get to hoist yours off on others."

"Issei's getting help from Ravel!"

"Because he's taking it seriously and Ravel is his manager! You were just as likely to pick the first one you saw just to avoid the hard work!"

"I didn't know it was that important!" Naruto huffed, "Man this is dull."

"Hey guys, how's it going? Naruto bitching about having to read? Ha, seems about right." Azazel walked in, scoffing at the whiskered man's pissed expression before he noticed the glowing gadgets on the ground, "Cool, you have the new batches of energy? I'll collect this and send them over to the lab."

"Azazel, do we seriously have to read all these reports?" Naruto asked, "I don't like just reading about someone. If this is seriously about making a partnership I'd prefer doing interviews and meeting them."

"Well, I don't know if they'd be as comfortable with that." The Fallen Angel shrugged, making Naruto sag and groan in annoyance as he realized he was going to have to keep reading all these papers to get a feel of the Magicians promoting themselves, "You may have the free time and prefer meeting face-to-face but the Magicians might not feel the same way. I don't think there are any Magicians in the lineup who would go out of their way to prefer interviewing - oh, wait a sec."

They all perked up at Azazel's realization, "There is someone?! Great! I'll meet them! I'll partner with them!"

"Hold on," Azazel held out his hand, "They might meet up but the person I have in mind is pretty eccentric. And it won't be through the paperwork like the other Magicians but because I know them personally." Azazel's face became deathly cold, "And most importantly…there's a great danger to working with this person."

"Danger?" Rias asked.

"To make a partnership with this person…means invoking the rage and fury of a jealous, angry soul." He spoke deeply, "To become their partner…means pissing off Vali Lucifer!"

"Dibs."

Everyone else looked at Naruto critically as he grinned, "Meeting a potential partner, avoiding paperwork, and pissing Vali off at the same time? What's not to love about this?"

Azazel grinned, "Great! I'll set it up!" With an unsettling amount of excitement at the expectation he had the Fallen Angel chuckled, "Oh this is gonna be so much fun! And Vali's gonna hate it!"

"Hear that?" Naruto smirked, "It's the best choice already."

Omake: Chaos and Noodles

"Whoa! It's the four cuties of the junior high school!"

"These girls are famous! How the heck did they end up in this shoddy little hole in the wall?!"

"Call my business a shoddy hole and I'll throw you punks out on the street!"

"Zekka," Xenovia waved to the younger student with a smile as she, Irina, and Asia stepped up to greet the four younger students, "You found Naruto's shop? How do you like it so far?"

"I-It's pretty nice," The meek girl greeted her upperclassmen with a smile, "It's good to see you again, Xenovia-senpai, Irina-senpai, and Asia-senpai."

"We need to have another match like we did the last time we met up with you girls." The blue-haired [Knight] pumped her arm, "I've gotten stronger since our last spar."

"O-Oh, that's not-"

"That sounds like fun!" Avi interjected with a beaming smile, "Asia-senpai, Irina-senpai, are you going to join in too? Lile-chan wasn't part of our club back then so you'll have to invite another friend to help out!"

Asia smiled, "Oh, that sounds like a great time."

"No way! I'm not playing against them again!" Irina denied, covering her chest as she glared at the silver-haired Walkure at the end of the counter, "Especially not after she kept playing with me!"

"Senpai, it's not my fault you felt it every time I grazed you." Schwert said with a playful tone and roll of her eyes, "If you weren't such a sensitive benchwarmer you'd make a remarkable [Ace]."

"W-What's that supposed to mean?!"

"I can't hear this." Issei covered his ears and rocked back and forth, "I can't hear stuff like this right now."

"Issei! You break anything and you're paying for it!"

"I don't get why I'm here." Shukaku grumbled, "I don't need to eat!"

"C'mon, Kakuse-kun," Kiryuu pulled on his arm, "Even if you aren't hungry it's good to spend time with friends."

"You aren't my friends!"

"E-Enough playing, Kakuse-kun, just join us." Yuuto pushed on the Bijū's back, leaning in and whispering with an edge, "Don't cause a scene."

"But this bitch is crazy!"

Gasper took a seat at the counter while everyone else was talking and screaming and conversing with each other, "Wow, I guess Senpai's ramen shop isn't going to be the quiet little hideout it used to be, huh, Koneko-chan?" He waited for a response from his friend as she stayed quiet, "Koneko-chan?"

Koneko was silent…eyes wide and focused…across the counter…

These girls…were younger than her…h-her juniors…and yet…

Avi still had some curves.

Schwert had an alluring amount of size for a girl so chill.

Lilebette looked like a supermodel with that chest.

A-And Zekka…was so short…almost her match in stature…but could challenge Rias or Akeno with those tits…

Koneko looked down at her own chest…as her eyes swirled psychotically, "Grow. Grow big. Hit your growth spurt already, dammit."

Gasper immediately retreated into his paper bag and curled up into the fetal position as the young girl's mantra repeated in his ear.
