Wade Wilson was so fucking ready to see that poser "Doctor" Victor Von FUCK-FACE in the flesh once again.
The mercenary was practically giddy at the thought of attending a Stalker Council meeting that morning and seeing Doom, since he totally wasn't dead.
Did that CHROME-DOME CUNT think that the war between them was over? HAH. Think again, you psycho FUCK.

Ezekiel Stane delicately broke the news to him about the meeting earlier that morning, and you can bet your sweet ass that Wade was hell bent on attending.
Fuck yeah they were going, no matter what, so the mercenary made the two of them a super yummy breakfast, and he did his best to help Ezekiel sober up.
The baby Jackal wasn't used to "partying" like Wade, and operating under the influence, so the stunner sunglasses were declared mandatory.

Those two migrated their way to the meeting a lot earlier than you'd expect, because they were doing things at Wade's pace.
Ezekiel proudly determined that he had no pace of his own that day, and he wouldn't even have gotten out of bed if it wasn't for the infamous Deadpool.
He only planned to appear for a "conversation" that was supposed to happen after, but Wade didn't need to know that shit….

Anyway, that "shit" got super silent in the room in the last chapter, remember?
Well, the vibe was still super awkward, so the infamous Deadpool started messing around with his cute lil fiancé's left hand.
He started pulling on Ezekiel's fingers, because he got bored and his body was restless.
Wade was playfully trying to take ownership of the coyote's hand, since they were sitting beside each other…
You get it? Wade did anything he could to pass the friggen time.
Where the FUCK was Victor Von SHIT-SHOW anyway? The merc was dying to get in his fucking face.
He told himself not to do anything when he saw him tho, because they had an unexpected guest.
Sofia Strange was such a cute little thing too, so Wade took a moment to look at her tiny head.

The annoying silence continued, and it was a bit unnerving for a number of people.

Victor Von Doom's "ego" wasn't necessarily at play when it came down to him not being present at the Surveillant Council meeting at this point in the story.
He was actually busy, and he was on his way from a place called Wundagore.
Those details weren't up for grabs yet, and Doom wasn't expecting for anyone on Ezekiel Stane's "Council" to declare his presence mandatory.
So, long story short, the man was running late… and he didn't apologize to anyone when he eventually made his way into the room.
Doom was very surprised to see that a chair was set aside for him, by the window, where he normally placed it… so he headed in that direction.

Something happened just before Doom crossed the room and sat down, and it gave everyone watching a sudden flash of panic.
With his metal gloved hand, Victor Von Doom shoved a middle finger right in Deadpool's face, while the mercenary pulled the same exact gesture back in DOOM'S face at the same exact time.
They both flipped one another off in such a violent fashion, and Steve Rogers almost lost his composure.
He cracked a short laugh as he watched, then the blonde told the two of them to SETTLE DOWN.

YEAH? SETTLE THIS. Wade flipped Doom off again from a distance, but the second gesture was ignored.
Victor Von Doom simply sat down in his chair after that, by the window, at the tail end of the table… then he directed his attention to the feisty man who organized the meeting.
Did his eyes happen to see Ezekiel Stane on his venture over to Tony Stark? Yes, and he was very aware that the two of them would be communicating after the meeting.
Tony maintained an unamused look on his face as the man of the hour finally took his friggen seat. The pissing match between Doom and Wade was hilarious to witness, but Tony was on a mission.
Stark was seated at the center of the table for once, because he decided to challenge Doom, question him, and dominate the meeting…..
So, on that note, the "little red corvette" migrated all of his focus toward Victor Von Doom.
