Scene 1: Dinner Transformation*

After spending a month in Mewnie, Dipper and Mabel had grown accustomed to the daily excitement—facing Ludo's ridiculous attempts to steal Star's wand, exploring magical creatures, and eating magical dinners that glowed, sparkled, and sometimes even floated. But tonight, things were different. The table was set with plain, earthy corn and meat, a stark contrast to the usual dazzling spread.

Mabel, eyes wide with confusion, stared at her plate.

Mabel: "Uh, Star? What happened to the actual food? Why is it just corn?" She looked utterly deflated, poking at the food as if expecting it to suddenly float or sparkle.

Star, suppressing a giggle, leaned over with a grin.

Star: "This is the actual food, Mabel! I just used my magic to make it all glitzy because I thought that's what you guys liked!" She laughed lightly, digging into her meal, clearly enjoying it.

The King and Queen Butterfly exchanged a look, their regal expressions softening with a shared understanding of their daughter's playful nature.

Marco sat next to Star, eating quietly, used to her antics but enjoying the simpler meal.

Dipper, on the other hand, seemed relieved, eagerly cutting into his plate.

Dipper: "Finally, some real food. No glitter, no weird floating vegetables, just… food." He took a bite, savoring it. "Come on, Mabel, it's better than all that sparkly stuff, right?"

Mabel, still looking a bit disheartened, sighed but reluctantly took a bite.

Mabel: "I guess… but where's the magic, Star? The flair?"

Star shrugged, giving her a sympathetic look before turning her attention back to her corn.

Despite Mabel's disappointment, dinner passed peacefully, and afterward, everyone retired to their rooms for the night.

Scene 2: Silver Bell Ball Preparations*

The next morning, Star and Marco knocked on the door of the twins' guest room, both dressed up in formal attire. Star wore her usual cheerful smile, holding two outfits in her arms—a fancy suit for Dipper and an elegant, glittering gown for Mabel.

Star: "Time to get fancy! We're going to the Silver Bell Ball!" She grinned, handing them the clothes.

Dipper looked at the suit, eyebrows furrowing in discomfort.

Dipper: "Uh… I don't wear fancy clothes." He crossed his arms, clearly not a fan of the idea.

Mabel, on the other hand, let out an excited squeal.

Mabel: "A ball?! With a dress like this?! Yes, yes, yes!" She grabbed the dress and rushed into the bathroom to change, practically bouncing with excitement.

Marco stepped forward and gently pushed the suit toward Dipper.

Marco: "Trust me, dude, I get it. Fancy clothes aren't my thing either. But you don't want to stick out like a sore thumb at the ball."

Dipper looked at Marco, clearly not thrilled, but he sighed in resignation.

Dipper: "Fine. But if anyone asks, this wasn't my idea." He took the suit and went to change.

Soon, the group was dressed to the nines, ready for the ball. Mabel emerged from the bathroom, twirling in her glittering gown, beaming from ear to ear.

Mabel: "I feel like a princess!"

Dipper stood nearby, adjusting the collar of his suit with a grimace.

Dipper: "I feel like a penguin."

Scene 3: The Silver Bell Ball*

When they arrived at the Silver Bell Ball, the scene was dazzling—guests from all over Mewnie were gathered in their finest attire. Tom, with his fiery charm, was already mingling, and Ponyhead floated above the crowd, chatting loudly with other royals like Princess Spider Bite and Rich Pigeon.

Star: "Come on! Everyone's waiting!"

The group fell into line with the rest of the guests, standing respectfully as the ball officially began. The ballroom was filled with the soft chiming of silver bells, echoing through the grand hall as couples began to dance.

Dipper, standing stiffly in his suit, tried his best to blend into the background, clearly not comfortable in the fancy setting.

Marco patted his shoulder, giving him a sympathetic smile.

Marco: "You get used to it. Just… don't think about it too much."

Meanwhile, Mabel was in her element, practically sparkling as she danced around the room, her excitement contagious.

Mabel: "This is so much fun! Dipper, come on! Dance with me!"

Dipper shook his head quickly, backing away.

Dipper: "Nope. Not happening."

Star and Marco exchanged amused glances, clearly enjoying the spectacle as the ball continued into the night.
