Chapter 10:
Space Ghost:
Planet: No specific planet
City: No specific city
Year: 2022
Day: Can there be any days in space?
Time: There is no time in space
This is the Universe and it's always in danger. There is a race that threatens all life that is not from this species. They feel they are superior to other races and believe that they are the only race that should exist in the Universe. They are called "the Zorak!"
But there is one hero who stands in their way. His name is Space Ghost!
"We better find a way out of this asteroid belt," says Jace.
"Hang tight, Kids," says Space Ghost.
Space Ghost was the captain of the Phantom Cruiser. Jan and Jace were two orphan siblings who Space Ghost took in. Along with them is their robotic monkey, Blip. Anyway, Space Ghost managed to drive out of the belt, but then...
Flashback:
Space Ghost was standing at a desk, talking about something...but what?
Present:
"Space Ghost," asks Jan.
"Sorry Kids," says Space Ghost.
"You had another flashback," asks Jace.
"I wish I knew what they meant," says Space Ghost, "they could lead to my past."
"One day, we'll figure out who you were," says Jan.
"Thanks Kids," says Space Ghost.
"Maybe you can tell us what you have been seeing," Jace suggests.
"Well... I'm sitting at this desk and... I'm talking to an audience...but I can never figure out what I'm saying. The memories of that are always so...gargled...it's like I'm speaking a different language from myself!"
"We all have trouble understanding ourselves," says Jace.
"I'm still trying to figure out what I'm in to," says Jan, "if you know what I mean."
"One day, I will learn," says Space Ghost, "in the meantime, let's get back to Ghost Planet. Blip, navigate."
Blip begins.
...
Meanwhile, with the planet Zog, the Zorak arrive.
"What is that," asks a Zogian.
"It's the Zorak," says another Zogian.
The Zorak begin their attack.
...
On Ghost Planet, Space Ghost and his crew get a message from Zog.
"The Zorak have attacked our planet," says a Zogian, "and we need your help!"
"We're on our way," says Space Ghost.
...
The Phantom Cruiser then takes off.
...
The Phantom Cruiser arrives at Zog and see the Zorak ships.
"How can one race be like this," asks Jan.
"Not to worry," says Space Ghost, "Blip, take the controls and fight the ships. We'll get out there and take on the Zorak themselves."
Blip then connects himself to the ship.
...
Space Ghost, Jan, and Jace then take on the Zorak. The Zorak are a green insectoid race. The Zorak speak in a language that's hard to understand to anyone that isn't Zorak. Space Ghost, Jan, and Jace start blasting them.
"I might be irresponsible," says Space Ghost, "but you guys make better back up then Blip, who is a better pilot."
"No argument there," says Jace.
"That's for sure," says Jan.
The fight continues, but then Space Ghost has another...
Flashback:
"Hey, everyone, I'm Tad Bach and this is Back to Bach and today, our special guest is Butch Cassidy and no, he is not an outlaw or two characters from Pokémon..."
Present:
Space Ghost then snaps out of it and sees Jan and Jace were in danger. Space Ghost then blasts off the Zorak.
"Are you two alright," asks Space Ghost.
"I think so," says Jace.
"Let's get back to the ship," says Space Ghost.
...
The three are back in the ship.
"Space Ghost, are you alright," asks Jan.
Space Ghost thinks about it. "Kids, I think I should go in alone," says Space Ghost.
"What do you mean," asks Jace.
"I can't put you in danger anymore," says Space Ghost, "I'm going to face the Zorak in their Mothership."
"But Space Ghost..." Jan begins, but too late, Space Ghost leaves.
...
Space Ghost thought about his latest flashback. For the first time, he could understand what he's saying. His name is Tad Bach, but what did he mean by 'special guest' and what is 'Back to Bach'?
...
Using his invisi-belt, Space Ghost was able to turn invisible and he snuck through the ship. He then entered a room.
"I can see you," says a voice.
Space Ghost then turns visible and turns around and sees a giant bug.
"So, the Queen Zorak has decided to lead the invasion herself," says Space Ghost.
"And you are the legendary Space Ghost," says the Queen, "I am not impressed!"
"Why are you attacking Zog, they did nothing to you!"
"Why not? They are not Zorak, therefor, there is no reason for them to live."
"You disgust me!"
"Good, then we are even and now you die!"
The Queen then swats Space Ghost. Space Ghost then gets back up and starts blasting the Queen. The Queen then grabs Space Ghost and removes his mask and notices something familiar.
"What, is it my hair," asks Space Ghost.
"I've seen you before," says the Queen.
"What?"
"Yes... the planet Earth... we abducted you to learn about your planet. We took your memories... but they turned out to be useless."
"You... you're the reason I can barely remember?"
"You mean... you must subconsciously remember your past."
"Who am I?"
"You were just some nobody. Not a hero, not a leader, just some random human we took."
"A random human that can still defeat you!" Space Ghost then starts blasting the Queen again, but when he blasts her eyes, that hears. "I think I found a weakness!" Space Ghost continues to blast the eyes. Eventually, the Queen threw Space Ghost into a machine, then the machine started doing something to him.
"I threw him to the very machine that took his memories," says the Queen.
Space Ghost then got out. "I remember... I'm a talk show host!"
"Yes, and now you are dead!"
Space Ghost then gets out of the way and the Queen crashed into the controls. Space Ghost then leaves.
...
The Mother ship then crashed into the other ships, and they all crashed onto Zog's Moon.
...
Space Ghost and the President of Zog then shook hands.
"Thank you for your help, Space Ghost."
"Are you sure you all will be alright," asks Space Ghost, "the Zorak are now on your moon."
"Yes, but our moon's a death trap! They'll be too busy trying to survive to fix their ships."
The Phantom Cruiser then takes off.
...
"That's a heck of a story, Tad," says Jace.
"So, what is a talk show," asks Jan.
"I'll tell you kids a lot about Earth," says Space Ghost, "and maybe one day, we'll get back, but for now, let's keep the Galaxy safe."
...
Nightwing was looking at a newspaper. "Famous talk show host still missing," says Nightwing, "that's going to be the least of their problems."
