Chapter 11:
Jonny Quest:
Planet: Earth
City: It's actually a jungle
Year: 2022
Day: Thursday
Time: 1:00 p.m.
Dr. Benton Quest and his family were looking for the legendary Lost City of Hannah the Barbarian.
"Hannah may have been the first barbarian to have found a city," says Dr. Quest, "and it's somewhere in this jungle."
"Wherever it is, I hope it's away from the bugs," says Race.
"We have to hurry before my archenemy, Dr. Zin finds it," says Dr. Quest, "legend says the people were ahead of their time."
"Wait, where is Jonny," asks Haji.
"Over here," says Jonny, "I think I found something." The Quests almost get attacked by snakes.
...
"My bad," says Jonny. Jonny is an eleven-year-old boy who always gets himself and his family in trouble.
"Let's just hope we find it soon," says Dr. Quest.
...
The Quests continue on their search. Dr. Quest was then thinking about his late wife. She would've loved this. While he was a scientist, she was interested in magic. Unlike other scientists, Dr. Quest actually believed it was a possibility.
"I think I can sense it," says Haji. Haji is Dr. Quest's adopted son. He possesses telepathy and now he is sensing something.
Race is Dr. Quest's longtime friend and current assistant. He's also a former secret agent.
Bandit is Jonny's dog.
The Quests then find a strange form of trees.
"They look more like a wall," says Race.
"I sense there are...people on the other side," says Haji.
When Jonny touches a tree, it sinks to the ground. The rest tried...but it didn't work for them.
"It seems the trees like Jonny," says Haji.
"Jonny, keep touching trees," says Dr. Quest.
"Boy, who knew I was a threat to the environment," says Jonny.
"Considering you don't recycle and tend to waste the electricity..." Dr. Quest begins.
"Fair point," says Jonny.
Jonny touches the trees, and they all sink and the Quests find a technologically advanced city.
"Could it be," asks Dr. Quest.
"Over here," says Jonny. They look at a statue of Hannah the Barbarian. "She kind of looks like...Mom!"
Jonny was right, Hannah the Barbarian looks just like Dr. Quest's late wife. The people then all come.
"Benton Quest," says a man, "long have I wanted to meet you and your son."
"H-how do you know us," asks Dr. Quest.
"Simple, I'm your brother-in-law!" Everyone is shocked.
...
"It's time you knew the truth about Rachel," says the man, "real name: Starseer. I am her brother, Hardrock. She and I are descendants of the legendary Barbarian, Hannah."
"That must be why the trees sank to the ground," says Haji, "because Jonny is a descendent as well!"
"I haven't been this surprised since I learned about the Justice League," says Jonny, "so, what can you tell us about my Mom?"
"You can start with telling us why she never told us the truth," says Dr. Quest.
"So, no one evil would learn," says Hardrock.
"I get it," says Dr. Quest, "someone like Dr. Zin could learn and try to force her to help him find the city."
"So, what powers this place," asks Race.
"Magic," says Hardrock, "there is something else. Legend says that a great sin will attack the city, but the Chosen One will save it."
"So, who is this Chosen One," asks Jonny. The people all look at him. "Haji, do I have something in my teeth?"
"Jonny, I think you are the Chosen One they speak of," says Haji.
"Me," asks Jonny.
"He's only eleven," says Dr. Quest.
"Do not worry, I'm sure this great sin will not come so soon," says Hardrock.
"Wait," says Haji, "I think I sense something..."
...
What the Quests did not realize is that Dr. Zin was secretly following them. "Soon, the secrets of the Lost City will be mine," says Dr. Zin.

Jonny and Haji were playing with some of the kids. Dr. Quest, Race, and Hardrock were watching.
"Do you have children, Mr. Bannon," asks Hardrock.
"Nope," says Race, "but I do like to see Jonny and Haji as my own."
"You would make a great Father, my friend," says Dr. Quest.
"I sense it," says Haji, "someone is coming!"
Then large robots came, and Dr. Zin appears.
"Zin," says Dr. Quest.
"Quest," says Dr. Zin.
"Did you say Zin," asks Hardrock.
"You kids run," says Race.
"I will keep them safe," says Hardrock.
Hardrock takes the kids somewhere.
...
"So, this temple is where you all read the prophecy," asks Haji.
"Yes," says Hardrock. Bandit then jumps in the pool.
"What's that pool," asks Jonny.
"A mystic pool," says Hardrock, "legend says the water can make you immortal." Jonny and Haji then look at Bandit. "I don't believe this!"
"What's up, Uncle Hardrock," asks Jonny.
"We got one letter wrong," says Hardrock, "you were not to save us from a great sin, you were to save us from the Great Zin!"
"You mean it's happening now," asks Jonny, evils?"
"Not all the time," says Hardrock, "the prophecy was written by a psychic. One who can see the Future."
"Jonny, you must stop Zin," says Haji.
"Okay, how," asks Jonny.
No one had any ideas.
...
"With this city, the world could become mine," says Dr. Zin.
"You'll never get away with this," says Dr. Quest.
"Agent X," says Dr. Zin. A child sized agent enters, appears to be female.
"Kind of short," says Race.
"Agent X, find Dr. Quest's son," says Dr. Zin, "Just like how I killed Dr. Quest's wife, I shall kill his son!"
"You killed my wife," asks Dr. Quest.
"You didn't figure that out," asks Dr. Zin.
"I'm right here," says Jonny, along with Haji, Hardrock, and Bandit.
"That was easy," says Dr. Zin.
"The prophecy says I will save this place from you," says Jonny.
"It wasn't sin, it was Zin," says Dr. Quest.
"I don't believe in things like that," says Dr. Zin, "Agent X, take care of him."
Agent X jumps to Jonny and the others. "You work for Dr. Zin," asks Jonny.
Agent X then attacks them. Haji uses his telepathy to stop her, and Jonny removes her mask and it's a red-haired girl, about Jonny and Haji's age. Jonny's mouth dropped open.
"That's what I get for bringing in a child," says Dr. Zin. Dr. Zin then attempts to blast them, but Bandit got in the way.
"Bandit," shouts Jonny. Bandit is fine.
"He is immortal," says Hardrock.
"What have I missed," asks Dr. Zin. Jonny then gets an idea. He touches the trees, and they all grab Dr. Zin's machines. "So, that is how they got through!" All of Dr. Zin's machines were destroyed and Dr. Zin and Agent X left.
...
"We all thank you," says Hardrock.
"You're family," says Dr. Quest, "and Jonny, I'm proud of you."
"Everyone, they are making a statue of Jonny, right next to his ancestor," says Haji.
"Cool," says Jonny, "I hope you saw this, Mom."
...
Dr. Zin was in his island base. "The Quests have not seen the last of me," says Dr. Zin, "and remember, prove your usefulness to me and I will help you find your father, Jessie."
"Yes Dr. Zin," says Agent X.
