Time: 1:00 p.m.
Ray Randall's an Egyptologist who has arrived in Cairo. He is searching for the legendary "Pyramid of Ra". According to legend, the pyramid has the fabled Crest of Ra. Legend says that crest could give one the power of Ra.

Ray is searching through a pyramid that might be Ra's Pyramid.
"People keep telling me it doesn't exist," says Ray, "if I don't find that pyramid... I'll do what my Mother wanted and become a lawyer. I remember when she put me through law school, but it wasn't what I wanted. Might make a good plan B though." Ray then reads the hieroglyphics. "Unless I'm reading this wrong... I might have found it!" Ray then touches a strange pattern and falls through a trapdoor.
...
Ray wakes up and looks around. "And I thought those booby traps were just a thing in the movies." Ray then finds an eagle that's trapped under some rocks. "Hang on, Fella." Ray then digs up the rocks. The Eagle's wings were too damaged. "I got'cha." Ray then applies first aid to the eagle. "You should be alright now. Just rest." Ray then sees the crest, on a stone in front of a statue of Ra. "Forget court." Ray then walks towards the stone and picks up the crest...

Ray wakes up outside the pyramid. "I guess it was just a dream." What Ray didn't know was that someone was watching him.

Ray was back in his apartment, getting ready for bed. He still wasn't sure how he fell asleep outside the pyramid, but it was probably just jetlag. He then had a dream where he was flying like a bird.

Time: 8:00 a.m.
The next morning, Ray wakes up and goes to the window. The Sun was so beautiful, but then the next thing Ray knew... he suddenly grew wings. "What the..." Ray then touches the wings and they were real... and ripping his shirt. "How is..." Ray then checks his pocket and he found the crest. The crest was real! Ray has the Crest of Ra! "I can't go to the museum looking like Hawkman!" Ray then calls the museum and tells them he's sick. "I'm a little under the weather," says Ray, "yep, not feeling well." He then fakes a cough and then hangs up. "What else could go wrong?" Then some heavily armed people come in... and they see his wings.
"Nobody told me we were here to take in an angel," one says.

Year: 2022
Day: Sunday
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Ray finds himself in a strange place disguised as a volcano.
"Good day, Mr. Randall," says a British man in an eye patch, "I must say, I was not expecting wings."
"I wasn't expecting anything that happened today," says Ray, "who are you?"
"For security purposes, I have no name. You can call me Falcon 7. This is Inter-Nation Security."
"Okay, what happened to the first six falcons?"
"Mr. Randall, I have terrible news. An organization called F.E.A.R. is after you. They are led by the mysterious Number 1."
"You gotta be kidding me," says Ray, "I'm in some kind of James Bond movie!"
"Mr. Randall, we are merely trying to protect you. Do come with me."
...
Falcon 7 takes Ray to a room. There is a boy there. "This is Chester. His Father, General Stone mysteriously disappeared. There are plenty of food and there is a restroom and a Telly."
"Look, I just want to know what to do about..."
"The wings," asks Chester, "they're shrinking."
Ray looks and his wings were in fact, shrinking.
"Problem solved. Have fun you two."
The door closes.

Time: 11:00 a.m.
Agents of F.E.A.R. were checking Ray's apartment.
"Number 1, this is Number 24. The Egyptologist has disappeared!"
"Inter-Nation Security must have him," says Number 1, "that power must be mine! I suppose we'll have to wait."

Time: 11:30 a.m.
Ray agreed to let the scientists take a look at the crest. They were trying to study it.
"I'm sorry about your dad," Ray says.
"I know Number 1 did something to him," says Chester.
"Number 1. What kind of name is that?"
"F.E.A.R. is all about numbers," says Chester, "no names."
"Well, at least their names would be unique," says Ray. Ray tries to generate the wings. "Guess I can't do it without the crest."
"And you're the only one that can make it work," says one of the scientists.
Then the alarm goes off.
...
They were all watching. There were different kinds of disasters. The Justice League and Planeteers were on the job, but they may not be enough.
"Hey, who's that guy in the black and blue suit," I asked.
"I'm not sure," says Falcon 7, "but rumor says he calls himself... Nightwing."
Ray was hoping there was something he could do. He was holding the crest. He was looking at the destruction. It was probably F.E.A.R. Ray was so mad, his hand started to glow and then he fired an energy blast. "I could not do that before!"
"My word," says Falcon 7, "Ra was the Sun God! The crest not only gives you wings, but energy blasts too!"
Ray then gets an idea. "I could stop F.E.A.R.! I could use the crest to take them on!"
"A civilian," says Falcon 7, "I can't let you endanger your life!"
"I may have wings, but I'm no chicken. I am not afraid of F.E.A.R."
Falcon 7 then looks at the screen. "I have agents that can stop them!"
"But that may not be enough! It wasn't a coincidence that I found the crest! This was my destiny!"
Falcon 7 then decides there was no point in arguing.
...
They supplied Ray with a suit with the crest attached to the helmet. There were holes on the back for the wings.
"Now, you cannot tell anyone who you are," says Falcon 7.
"Like I'm gonna tell anyone I'm a male equivalent to a harpy," says Ray. Ray then flies off.
...
Ray starts taking on some F.E.A.R. agents. When an agent tries to attack him, something attacks that agent. It was the eagle. "Hey, I met you in Egypt. You're really good at avenging. Wanna fly with me?" The eagle screeches. "I'll take that as a yes. I'll call you... Avenger. Let's go, Avenger!"

Ray and Avenger were then heading for this large airship, but then someone stands on the top.
"Mr. Randall, I presume."
"And you must be Number 1," says Ray, "you know your name could also be used to describe..."
"Enough! I have an offer. If I'm right, the crest will only work for you. I am willing to pay a large amount of money if you agree to work for me."
"Sorry, but if I have wings like these, I might as well be on the Heavenly side. Hey, you wouldn't, by any chance, know what happened to a General Stone, would you?"
"The General betrayed your precious Inter-Nation Security."
"So, he took you on your offer?" Number 1 says nothing. "Okay, then?"
Ray gets on the airship and he and Number 1 then started fighting.
"You're a fool, Mr. Randall. We could rule the world together!"
"I'm not interested!"
They continue to fight, but then Ray blasts part of Number 1's mask, revealing a scar that looks like a crescent moon. Number 1 then grabs Ray's crest. "You are just a mortal without this!" Avenger then attacks Number 1, causing him to fall. Ray grabs the crest, gets his wings and flies down after him.

Ray attempts to get to Number 1. He was feeling weak. Because clouds were blocking the Sun. Then the clouds cleared and Ray grabs Number 1.
...
Ray takes Number 1 to the ground. "Now, do you give up..."
Number 1 blasts Ray and gets away on a F.E.A.R. jet. That is his answer.
...
Back at the base, Ray is now an official Inter-Nation Security Agent. The news are calling him...
"Birdman," asks Ray, "I got solar blasts too!"
"What was happening when you were saving Number 1," asks Falcon 7.
"I got weaker, but then I got my strength back," says Ray.
"Like I said, Ra is the Sun God," says Falcon 7, "you must get your power from the Sun."
"The Sun was what activated my wings," says Ray, "great, now I'm going to have to be scared of the Dark." Ray then looks at a picture. "Who's that?"
"That's my Dad," says Chester.
Ray has a shiver down his spine and remembers what Number 1 told him. On the picture, General Stone had a scar... that looks like a crescent moon!
