Warnings: Sorry I lost the entire portion of this chapter, so I had to grab it from another chapter and reload it now. So in total the chapter levels are 53 chapters, before the entire thing is completed into 57 chapters now at the moment. But this shows the early portion of what caused Daniel's decline in his friendship with Carter. While he and Teal'C are bonded like brothers and Jack destroyed their relationship.

With this story the books came out a year sooner, so The Price You Pay came out the same year as the pilot episode, turned book now. And the book titles that are given now are the names of the events, after Enemy Within. Thor's Hammer, Torment of Tantulus, Hathor, Cor'ai and Enigma, as this story now. Takes place two years later after the events of Singularity now, and the psychosis is still very strong.

With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.

The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.

This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.

Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.

As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.

Daniel said and Hammond nodded, deciding to do just that.

As he looked up the said. "Let me take a while guess here, but the 'Jones's', they're the doubles of the MacGregors?" Landry said with a chuckle and he nodded smiling then. "Yeah James is getting too old for this, and turned it over to my age group, while Mac. Himself now, is running through anthropology here and still does teaching for my archeology professor, Dr. David A. Jordan." he said and then said it as he crossed his arms.

"At least that wasn't causing a cave in, or you guys are going to kill them, with my job, as an archeologist, I do cave digging from time to time. One of the requirements, of being an archeology in excavation, it gets dangerous on any number or levels. To know the structural integrity is going to cause a cave in, or blast in the right place. That the entire ceiling is going to go." he said and the brass nodded sternly to the news.

"They create a game on just that, is before being near the top of said dig, see if it can take anything heavier then 40lbs worth of weight. That if falls through, then stay away from it all together, and put a ladder into the hole you put into top of it. That actually happened when we were in Ein Gedi, and the said boulder fell through. And crashed into a hotspring right below, and we all got soaked." he said and they nodded.

"Must have been one heck of a bath given by that boulder, if you knew that water is like a hot-tub, you just found a spa big enough. And for sum number people now at the time, let me guess the water in the oasis is 65 degrees. You can go swimming, and work the dig now, so camping and archeology, nice way to live." Dixon said with a laugh and she and Daniel nodded. "Yep, we do this all the time." he said smiling to him then.

"Thank you for the warning, I needed to know that, before we create the next three teams and 6 and 11 are archeology/excavation." Addison said and he nodded sternly. "Better call in Edwards then, he's an excavation engineer." Parker said and he nodded to the recommendation smiling."Lieutenant Colonel Martin Edwards, he's an archeologist, you can hardly tell." Sam said and he nodded gently to her then and Daniel smiled then.

"Well if we choose anyone to play him, the concerned grating tones, I'd say Michael is best, after the 3 months of future hell that I have to deal with later." he said and Anna started laughing and nodded. "And like he would say, you think you could put a little less effort into that climb, in the deep excavation sites, we thought you're in shape." Dixon said and he nodded. "I think I just fallen apart." he said and he and Balinsky nodded then.

"Yeah…, but man, once you struck gold send for me, I'm bringing the guys, Dave and Annie with me, but you're with Frank and Andy, I got the others and we do it together. Whatever you find, is worth the amount after they screwed up twice in 7 months." he said and Daniel nodded, as he gripped his hand, before pulling him into a hug and he smiled. And tightened his arms, and Hammond chuckled and nodded, knowing they were close then.

"Going to miss you too man, stay safe, I'll see you when you report in." he said and Daniel nodded smiling, looking between him to Balinsky, to Lou and Jared. And they nodded, as he hugged them tightly. "Be safe brother, we'll see you soon, and Jack, as of now he's not your business, the 20 of us are going SGA ourselves. So call us traitor if you want, as we're black security clearance now." Lou said sternly to him then and he paled then.

"I think that says it now, in where our loyalties lie after they started screaming he's a traitor, 2 months ago, but dad's test is complete. That they still haven't changed their thinking here." Lou to Hammond who nodded with a stern smirk and Jack went white in shock, realizing Lou thought up the test and passed it to Hammond. And his reaction to his new orders confirmed it."No kidding, but it's time to make it official." he said and Haden nodded then.

"Indeed, and I think rather then honorary, we're making you a real one, so as of now, with you being a Lieutenant Commander with Brandon, we just promoted you to full. So you're Commander Dr. Daniel Jackson now, son." Haden said and he nodded as he saluted and he answered him. "Hey Admiral, missed you boss, how are the quartet?" he asked and the man smiled. "We're fine, Brandon's ready." Barnes said and he nodded then.

"Yeah I miss him and mom, so this keeps, I'm back with you again and I never wanted it more, I was happier with you, more alive. It's like I said every time the damn thing becomes trouble, it's when we got MIS involved. And now my wife is missing and a host, along with my brother in law here now. What left do I have to give here, but let them win this round and go off on my own, be who I am, a Navy commander again."

"I'm 7 years away from making Captain, I want to enjoy my years with you." he said and he smiled in affection and Jack paled at that, realizing he knew the older man. "We know and we understand, the SGC is run by the Air Force and Marine departments. AMRIID and the ULF is run by Army and Navy, and the anthropology department, your report. Now, reaches into is Naval involved here, and matches exactly to the circumstances."

"You created that when you were 24, for the Bush administration, and clearly Clinton saw it worked just a little too well." Haden said and Barnes nodded gently. "That's the code name for the SGA Admiral, the ULF." Daniel said smiling and he chuckled and nodded. "Very well, we are the SGA now, we're back together, any time you want a break, just give the call, Brandon and I'll come get you." Barnes said, smiling to him then gently.

"To answer the unasked question there, the mom is actually our team mother matron, he started calling her that at 14. So like any mother, she and he had this deep bond, but the 4 of us are family friends, my name is Commander Dave Barnes. I'm next in command Brandon's team, she's Lieutenant Commander Rosaline Levy. In appearance she looks like Barbara Streisand now, practically raised him ourselves now in truth."

"So if you saw a few photos of him on the ship, dressed in a Navy uniform, that's us." he said and Hammond nodded, smiling then. "To answer the unasked question, he, that's the Admiral now, is the commander to one of our friends. My naval counterpart, who's a Captain, on the edge of one 1 star, Brandon Henderson. Brandon was his last placement now, George." Carson said then to the look and they all paled at that remark.

"Just before he returned to me, well knowing you on sight here, as your acting double, who is Brandon looking like exactly?" Hammond asked and Dillon chuckled. "That would be Dustin himself, so Dustin, unknowingly had three men he's playing. Sam Daniels, Dave Peterson, who is the Peterson unit he mentioned, and of course. Is Brandon himself." He said and Hammond nodded smiling and Jack swallowed hard at the news then.

"Who are you Sirs?" Makepeace asked and they crossed their arms, as he and Picard stepped forward then. "We're the leaders of the SGA, Daniel's new branch, he's under our comand now. And starting now, but as you can see here, he is not a civilian at all, he's your rank. But gentlemen, he's not under your authority, he's under mine, but mine young man, he's my subordinate, truth is we had this planned from the get go."

"My name is Major General Hank Landry, George's fellow general of the opposite program, this is General Jean Picard, we're command generals. Serving Catherine's side of the program, called the Stargate Association now. So for short now, we're called the SGA, Daniel's the SGA mole in your ranks, Robert. We been waiting for this moment to come now, the SGA is now fully activated." he said and they paled at that.

"When Hathor came into the picture we figured it was time to create a secondary base, just in case the we had a renegade. But that base has ten times the authority that you do Harry, your department. As such, they got areas that call for government programs, government, civilian matter. Non military jurisdiction, but that means he can go to outside sources for help in medical care." he said and they paled at that news.

"In other words Colonel Maybourne, you over see the SGC, well my department over sees both you and the SGC, we got connections all over the planet. SGA units are matched to their SGC counterparts, as I believe, but you. You, Major are being tested and for the following 8 months leading to SGC reviews. As are you Colonel, and Mckenzie's being left out do this." Picard said sternly to them at that and they all paled.

"So connct the dots, all he has to do, if you try to set him up, is escape the base, head east or find several more members of our basketball team. And said are all medical and psychiatric doctors, as he brings in score, after score after score. And then he learns they're all heading to Chicago for the annual Medical conference, so take a guess, if that conference is focused on the reason now."

"That he collapsed on us as he suggests they run evaluations and once again, he's showing you up as he's not demonstrating your behavior. After you cut your arm up to the elbow and nearly killed yourself, Major. As they confirm our psychiatric evaluations on yourselves that this behavior is nothing. Nothing but a schoolboy grudge, and you lost your minds." Carson said and they paled at that.

"Going by that look on your faces, you know that he gets back to us and your asses are going right to jail, and yes you're correct at the moment on that. But he's connected to every area in the civilian community now boys. Starting now here and as for your remark, you realize that you just gave yourselves away with that remark." Hammond said to him and he froze up that news in shock then.

"I promise General Hammond we'll take good care of him, he's safe with us, and now that Teal'C has removed his ex rival. Apophis, Nirrti and Hathor need not know that Dr. Jackson is wondering around alone. He is quite safe and not a security risk, I promise you." she said and the group nodded smiling in relief. "Dad the com's staying off, till I report into once with the representative of the planet I'm on right now in truth."

"So in between stops for rest, as I'm working outside their comfort zone, once I leave Gaea now, I'm working inside the gate builders network. So if they're all Catholic speaking, it means I get real food and I'm recovering from being on the go. I'm going to see what I can find, and then venture back to the heliopolis." he said and he nodded. "Fair enough take as long as you need, if they hold you." Sanderson said to him then.

"They're the only ones we got the attention of, are the resistance safe to visit?" he asked and she nodded smiling. "They're like us General, only we, the Asgard and the Ancients need know where they're stationed at." she said and he nodded. "You three, are you one of the trio or quartet that own the united nations planet. Danny called it heliopolis, his mentor's husband ended up there by mistake?" he asked and she smiled.

"Indeed we are, I am one of the races that are against the system lords, they're the leadership of the goa'uld, but your red department soldiers just got their attention. By killing your primary right now, Ra was that primary."She said and he crossed his arms. "So exactly as he told me, he's a very dear friend of mine, and we adopted each other when still a child, he's adoptive son." he said and she nodded in affection gently then.

"Indeed, well we, the Ancients, they created the stargate network now, the Asgard are the other, but it was meant to be General, he's who we were waiting for. All three of us and the Furlings now, this is his chosen path to enlightenment." she said and Daniel looked down. "I'm Anakin in his early years, you, and your Ancient counterpart, are my mother mentor, Master." he asked her then and she nodded in affection to the title then.

"Indeed we are, but there is no way to trace his whereabout as you know only one or two destinations he could be on, and there are billions of planets amongst the cartouche and repository records." she said and Hammond nodded. "Well till we land on a planet that we find him on, best just to leave him be, he can take care of himself. And restock his supplies, in hospitality, as I have said, many in the planets we been to."

"Said are eager to be of service now." Teal'C said smiling and she nodded."We are getting him, after he leaves me, 3 weeks between stops in food now. And before he restocks his supplies, as you know right now, every planet is earth in origin. He will be just fine right now with me, till you see him again, I swear to that Teal'C." she said then gently and he nodded, as he, Sam, Lou and Janet exchanged hugs with Daniel, before he did the same.

"Yeah alright that's plenty son, I need you to be honest with me, if you could have any award you wanted for what we're about to ask you next. Then what do you want the most now, anything you want, we're prepared to give it to you. And for your services to your country, and for helping us in arresting and incarcerating a trio of known traitors now." Jumper asked him and he smiled at that, and the groups smiled knowingly.

"And that would be he be allowed to clear his academic record, and publish his entire collective works. To see us, his friends and family now, he wants to come home and be us, with his family again." Sarah said smiling at that. "That you allow me to return to my girlfriend, my parents in law and my friends and mentor. That the NID, or O'neill, have gotten the attention of, are all renegades, the ones that dared here."

"To go against the majority you remember Samuel's movie after he learned just why they got a terrorist targeting his nephew's school or why he's even involved?" She asked and he crossed his arms. "Are you telling me, that two of the renegades are Ra's family, is there anyone else connected to him?" Clinton asked and he nodded. "His son, Heru'ur, he's a much feared system lord, but nobody else ever dared to go up."

"And against you, the ones that are crossed you in two ways, for them killing Ra, or just kidnapping your loved ones now." She said and he nodded sternly. "Well seeing as Commander Jackson never triggered this war, but a bunch of war hungry. In freaks had, as they're bored out of their minds there is not enough work to go around. At the moment, I'd say the technology should go back to Dr. Langford at the moment here."

"Is there anything else you need to show us here, into why you're still cross at her in still maintaining in treating her with a distance emotionally. Jumper said to him then "At age 8 how exactly, to quote the kid of a future kids movie who never wanted his father to date anyone, well I do remember them, I remember them a lot, but mom and dad wouldn't want me to just focus on them all the time."

"But live up to their legacy and the only way to do that is by living my dream and following in their footsteps now." He said and the joint chiefs nodded in understanding then gently at that remark. "Every year for the last 25 years, though I lost a year 2 years ago, to visit my parents grave now, I was remembering their loss. Their devotion to the job, and I'm still trying to figure out, how that chain snapped, is it an accident now."

"Or did someone sabotage the chain, as I decided any time the damn thing becomes trouble it's always when MIS gets involved, enter Colonel Jack O'neill." He said and they nodded gently to him. "Your parents are the Doctors Jackson Claire and Melburn David Jackson, the Doctors Jackson. So your parents are the best archeologist in the planet when we were your age son." Ryan said gently to that and he nodded smiling in pride then.

"So let me guess here, this has to do with her triggering a relapse?" Jacob asked him gently and he nodded sternly to him as he pulled out a third one then. "I never let her forget it, and evidently neither had you, you never let it go." He said and they all nodded sternly. "You're right we didn't, as if that's not enough right now, she socked an upperclassmen in the face for cruel sexist remarks in basic training at the time."

"And enough to get her expelled, but Michael Kerrigan is in his late 40's bordering 50 years old now, and like us, he never let it go either. The girl is good, no doubts there, but the academy is Samantha's domain, the academy at Starfleet. Once created is the girl's, if we find a teenage her now, then again the girl loves you. As to her, after hearing the truth, she sees she can put her theory to use, so though it's not it now."

"In the assignment here, it's extra credit now, and baby, under you, gets her theories confirmed in training." Jacob said and he nodded. "There's an extended version to the reply I gave her here at the time, and a second. Said involving direct orders you gave me, we should have grabbed two and I shot the tank. In what the man said was a cappuccino now to the Italian ring, evidently the man said after 13 months on another planet here.

"He still can't get a decent cup of coffee in any country here, and he mixed it with an Italian donut now, what he called a zeppoli now in our country of origin. Back when mother was still a Goa'uld herself." She said and he nodded and Daniel covered his eyes smiling. "A zeppoli now is an Italian donut with custard in the middle now Saroosh, it's a pastry crème filled with chocolate frosting." He said and she nodded in understanding.

And pulled them out and he nodded. "After sum years the color fades and it goes yellow, but these are developed with advanced technicolor in them. Whoever did this now brought a Polaroid camera instant color effect in them. And it's that's new camera technology, created in the last 7 years now. But if my skin color was a deep tan color, after going there, I was carrying contacts and grew my hair out, it's me, it's me."

"Selmak, I'm your father, I created you as the first ever batch of Tok'ra, with the ideals you have now, your hatred of Hathor. And the knowledge and distaste for Jack O'Neill, Colonel Robert Makepeace and Lieutenant Adam Johnson now. And their soldier type now, you're from the Roman version of the Greek Gods now. "The fountain of youth legends, she's the queen and creator of that legend, finding a way to eternal youth, that way is instead of allowing evil to corrupt your soul. You stayed young by cloning yourself a new body every 200 years leading into now. Your mother has been missing for 900 years now." Jacob said in understanding then. "Bingo, I gave her the idea and I brought two things that no archeologist here, can now."

"Get enough of in the academic community as well here now, I especially love Italian cooking, so the Italian Riviera, they got the best of all three here. Plus Great beaches, great historical history, and even better the birth of the Catholic religion now. It's started in Italy and went to France, Mexico, Spain and Portugal now. Problem is since then, even off world I can't get decent enough version to even match mom's cooking."

"She does everything and everything she cooks is how it's supposed to be, I traveled all over the world in either way, nothing matches my adoptive mother's cooking now. Nothing at all, but my mother is Rosalie Levy, she's part of Uncle Brandon's team, but from 13 to college, 5 years, I been into that for 5 years, but Uncle Brandon's unit composed in the members his own age of himself, her, Cmdr. Dr. Derek Patterson."

He said and Landry nodded with a chuckle at the history lesson and the personal detail he gave on why he was so devoted to Levy and Clinton started laughing gently.

"Here's what happened now regarding that episode at the moment the full exchange right now." He said and they nodded. "Gairwyn told me Thor built this centuries ago. It brings the water from the mountains." She said and he nodded, as he looked in the direction they came which was pointed back the way they came."He built it for us, to his people in the towns." she said and he smiled. "Thor is generous." He said and she smiled

"Yes: This means we are close." She said and he nodded as Kendra walks ahead. "Here it comes young lady you can't refrain from controlling that mouth of your's, can you." Jacob said sternly and she swallowed hard at his remark, realizing this was the next reason. That he turned on her, he had enough of her crap and realism now "Daniel, she said that hours ago. Now either she's lost and doesn't want to admit it, or.." she started to say and he cut in sternly.

"I don't think that she would mislead us." he said and Jehovah nodded. "Indeed follow the lamb and it will lead you to the future you deserve, the one you are ready for." He said and she paled at that, realizing Kendra was the bell weather lamb, leading Daniel. And to the burning bush in a way, Daniel was a prophet now, only he could determine things. So he was following his lamb and she lead him in the direction to find the others now, as she said it then carefully.

"Maybe it's not on purpose, maybe it's not even conscious!" She said and he shook his head at her realism as he jumped over a channel to stand in front of Sam and they stop. "What she suffered on her world and while being a Goa'uld will translate anywhere as incredible abuse." She said and he crossed his arms, knowing Kendra was standing there waiting for debate to end. "You ever heard, follow the prophet." He said to her then sternly.

He said, singing the one focused on his name and she jerked in shock at declaration, realizing he was following a lamb to the bush.

"It's meant to say there is always a reason for everything, and you're refusing to see this as you're too narrow minded, you're not ready for the technology. Or the future that the lord holds here, but I am, my faith never faltered. But I kept to my religious roots, because my coach was a Jesuit priest now. Doesn't the fact that she interpreted those gusts of wind and thunder as signs mean something?" He said to her sternly.

As they watched, knowing she was refusing to admit she was wrong, but he was right, casting judgment on this fact, was the only way to prove his claims were crap. And Hammond shook his head at her atheist attitude, knowing this was going to be a massive religious debate later. "Part of her wants to face it all again and another part clearly doesn't, and it looks like the part that doesn't is winning. We're wasting valuable time." She said to that firmly.

And he said it sternly. "No you're wasting valuable time by arguing with the expert, me: 13 months, you: 6 months. I followed Sha're's mount and it lead me right to her father and Skaara now at the time last year. It's the lamb with the alert bell metaphor here, Moses was looking over his flock as a shepherd boy. And it lead him to the burning bush, this is the very same thing, we follow the lamb and it leads us to the bush."

Are you an experienced woodsman, spent a few years in the forest, learning to be. In truth, an adult, as sometimes there is unseen aspects you never see, I was learning to act like Native American. Spent a summer in the forest, to live alone for a season, learn to be a man, an adult here."
