Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: With this chapter it gives a surprise look at what happened after the trilogy, in the Mighty Ducks movies, as instead of them being destroyed. And falling apart, Bombay quits the offer here, at the Goodwill Games and trains the next generation. As the pre academy unit in Atlantic City, is none other then the Minneapolis Mighty Ducks. Movie 3, and both sides of the team combine together as one now here finally.
As Wesley Crusher becomes the best of friends with the team, and he and his unit join forces with them their entire team and give the Hawks, who are the Edina Hawks. From the movie trilogy, a real run for their money now, as the year goes by, as the teams at the academy are created in the added sports now, as the years go by here. Taking on the names of the Districts, the Atlantic City Knights and Edina Red Hawks.
With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.

Chapter 58: New Finds And Research Begins XI: Research And Unexpected Truths XI
"The school." Orion said and he nodded smiling, as he lead them around, and they saw the school layout, matching Eden Hall Academy now, seeing the hockey rink in their colors now then. "Yeah I feel like I'm on the set of the movie now, the school matches Eden Hall exactly here, I never paid attention, and because I was focused on your training. Only now I feel like I stepped out of our normal, and ended up in the movie locations." Wes said and Daniel nodded.
"Well you're going to love this, instead of training on the holodeck, after Jan bought the skating rink, not long after the movie ended, I been working from home. And I'm training Charlie's sister and her team now, check this." Coach, Commander, Gordon Bombay said, as he showed them the skating arena and they say the Ducks hockey mask and a lightsaber. "The Ice Palace." Picard said and he nodded smiling. "Here's the skating park." Connie said and they stopped there.
"Anyone else feel the like ship basically is creating a way to live normally again, as with the military on the base, they never actually examined the entire town yet. To realize this actually looks too familiar and to the point you're seeing sights. That you only see in one movie series, trilogy to be exact and the coloring chosen on the Hawks. Matches their brothers jerseys, and the preteens chose our version, so us soft karate, them hard." she said to this and he nodded.
"Well fortunately we got the area looking out over the water, absolutely beautiful, but then we're good swimmers, but we're ducks." Bombay said gently and she nodded. "Yep, we can see out over the entire region as we got sun coming in, as it's like being on the beach. And seeing across the entire coast, enjoying the view, this is home in our 250 miles now. It's like being in Southern California, looking at the sunset, and we got an indoor beach." Charlie said to this.
"Yeah that and said movie trilogy is our's baby, but there it is, it's been 3 years and I never had a better time, just getting your training further updated." Orion said smiling and she smiled at that. "Yeah Coach, and we adore you as our coach, like Coach, we love you just as much, you're our mentors, we never enjoyed training more." Guy said smiling and he nodded then smiling. "Well the sights are absolutely beautiful, check the lake." Anna said smiling and he nodded.
"Yeah that and the park itself, trees, a playground, a beautiful lake, and a fountain there, a sidewalk to go skating or biking around the park. Astroturf grass, a swimming pool made to look like the lake, Ducks in the lake, they're happy here now. This part of the city is absolutely beautiful, so are Linda and her friends and family here?" Daniel asked and they nodded. "Yeah they decided to get into Starfleet too, and relocated here." Orion said to him and he smiled.
"Peep." they heard, before hearing 5 more and saw a group of young ducklings waddling over then and Daniel smiled. "Hey guys, nice to meet you too." Picard said smiling, and Charlie crouched and ran his hand through the duckling's down, as he gave a happy peep. "Like I said three years, when we relocated, we brought our mascot, and they settled here. In the park room, knowing too cold to actually fly north for the winter." he said and Daniel nodded then.
"He's your pet duckling?" he asked and Charlie nodded. "Yeah he's mine, that's Webbie, Dewey and Louie, and their brothers and sisters, and their parents Donald and Daisy. They just hatched this past week and chose us as their human counterpart, so this water is clean. And for them to swim in, there's their nest by that tree over there, on the bank, so they're safe down here. Donald's side of the family are saved." he said and Daniel nodded, as he looked across the park.
As they saw the wall on the mini ramp sporting the Mighty Duck symbol, before looking into the distance and saw a nice sized lake/pool. And for the ducks to swim in, astroturf grass, for everyone to sprawl on and a nice sized playground. With a 90's swingset and multiple slides and tire swing. "Quack." they heard as the adult male walked forward, dressed in Donald's costume. "Yeah a real Donald and Daisy, that's cute." Catherine said laughing and he gave a second.
"Quack." his wife said gently and they nodded. "Yeah we recruited your husband's counterpart to coach black circle, in his ducklings, we just never realized we adopted all of you." Daniel said and they gave a quack of understanding. "We need to keep the cats and dogs out of here, they're still young enough, they're easy pickin's, Jesse, you bring your cats with you?" he asked and he nodded. "Yeah, as dad took the insurance job here." he said and they all nodded smiling.
"Well no more bills, we have the money piling up, as everything is automated here, we're where we can live a normal life now, this is actually where we belong. But we finally realized rather then normal ducks, they're jumbos, we're jumbo pekins in human form." Connie said and Daniel nodded smiling then. "New school mascot, but same old you now, huh?" Landry said and they nodded. "Yeah nothing's changed at all, we're still us, and fresh start." she said to him then.
"With you choosing the grade to junior high school mascot, that became the peewee league symbol, so officially the Mighty Ducks here Atlantic City, or, to us, Richfield now. And we, the Mighty Ducks rule the roost in this district, so we're safe here." Jesse Hall said and they nodded "Well we did decide the junior/peewee hockey are the Mighty Ducks, she just took it 5 steps further, and revealed which Duck here now at the time, they're jumbo Pekins in human form."
"Exactly 7 years, they're fully grown ducks, but to their coaches, still their ducklings." Harper said with a chuckle and Orion nodded smiling. "Whoa, yeah Ente, did you redesign Atlantic City to look like Minneapolis in Districts 4 and 5 here?" Daniel asked and they heard it gently to him. "Yes Commander I did, to make the Minnesota contingent feel more at home, I redesigned the layout of the entire district to match Richfield itself here now."
"And Edina is on the other side of the ship, far away from the Richfield here now, re-named and Atlantic City." she said and he nodded smiling. "And she couldn't have done it better, with her sentient, she molded it to looking like our home town. The apartments matching our houses, the mall matching the Mall Of America, complete with an indoor amusement park. Our skating park, complete with the vert and street, we can go skating anytime we want now."
"Head for the pool, we have a perfect functioning ice rink, this is paradise, but it's back to that again." Goldberg said and he nodded "Again, what do you mean again exactly, son." Picard asked and he sighed as he looked at Orion. "Do we tell them, Uncle Ted." Averman asked him gently and he nodded gently. "We tried to stay hidden as our new alias, but even that didn't work, they still followed us here, time to come clean, guys." he said and they nodded, sighing.
"General, Admiral, the high school Varsity hockey here in Atlantic City, are not some nobodies whatsoever, but rather a piece of our history never revealed. We took over Eden Hall Academy true, but after 3 years and still be treated like losers, by the Hawk fans. We decided on an entirely fresh start, relocating here, we hid as the Atlantic City Jedi Knights. When you created the district, you made it matching our side of Minneapolis." Charlie said to them gently then.
"You hired the Coach Ted Orion." she said and Jack felt his heart start sinking, realizing these 35 people could be the stars of the hockey trilogy. "When offering coaching jobs for the last 10 days to 2 weeks, we hired the new head coach and leader. Of the new state Champions. Of the Minnesota Peewee Hockey League?" Landry said and he nodded. "The title dad is not endearing, I meant it, he's my biological father." he said and they nodded in shock to the news at that.
"So Orion is your birth name, Charlie Orion, your mother got remarried, and you became Conway, if that's really you?" Daniel said and he nodded. "Yeah it's me, I just got a haircut, so I can, in appearance, look like my double on the tv show, he's 2 years into it." he said and they nodded smiling. "And the rest of you look like 17 year old versions of your doubles, in 21 year old bodies now here." he said and they nodded. "Still us though, Sir." she said to him then.
"We're still the Ducks, just hiding under our new aliases, but we been found and Hanson is a Hawk, and alerted Reilly that we're here, after he saw us in action." A boy looking like the team sharpshooter said and Landry crossed his arms then. "Reilly and your name, son?" he asked and Charlie ran both hands through his hair. "Fulton Reynolds, real name is Reed, we changed our surnames to hide our identities General, so we could hide here, didn't work, in truth, Sir."
"It's been two weeks and those losers never stop, can we be allowed to move on with our lives, or are they treating us the way they treat him. Enough already, these Hawks and Socs are NID, they never leave us, good people, alone, we upstaged them. Alright guys, time to expose ourselves, because we're just like Wes, and we're the best kids in school. We just use our brains over our athletic ability, after Hanson shot that out of the door." he said and they nodded.
"Reed, as is #44 Fulton Reed?" Daniel asked and he nodded. "Commander, we changed our names, getting undercover, Edina found us, after you humiliated the NID. And one too many times, the reds of Edina, the Edina Red Hawks, pre academy, before college. But they're our city rivals, Commander it's us, the District 5 Mighty Ducks, Charlie's father is our Coach: 3 years." One of the two girls in their side of the 17 of them said and Daniel looked at Jack angrily then.
"Oh way to go Jack, your hometown brats are picking on my students still, they're the real Mighty Ducks!" he snapped and Jack went white at that in fear then. "Label out now, please guys." Daniel said and they passed them their I.D. cards and they ran it through the system. As, in the Roster order chosen by Orion, they saw Coach Ted Orion #00 Guy Germaine #4 Lester Averman, #6 Julie 'The Cat' Gaffney, #7 Dwayne Robertson, #16, Ken Wu, #18 Connie Moreau.

"Uh huh, okay, so you're officially your high school hockey team, then next year, rather then Alex taking over, you and Alex just swapped. In position, so you can get them through the Starfleet hockey championships." Daniel said and they nodded.
"We're your new cadets and students Commander, pre academy, we're bordering 18, no older then Jared and he and Jenny and her quartet. But we're your Atlantic City quadrant, and Varsity Ducks, our J.V. counterparts are Randolph's new team, us Varsity, them J.V.. The Ducks are very much alive, hiding under a new identity here now, only the Hawks exposed us. So time to come clean to you now, Sir." Charlie said to him and he nodded in understanding gently to him then.
"So the little 10 years olds in the first move, when we saw you with Bombay now, just became you, my new students. Son, you're no older then the girls, Jared, Brandon and Jason, I have 22 students, 17 in the hockey team. Wes's squadron the basketball, so you're my side of the 360 students pre academy." he said and they nodded gently. "We decided to get into Starfleet, after you chose dad, we all jumped at the transfer, get us away, so Edina has Minneapolis now finally."
"This is our territory, as Bombay trains our successors, but two Teds, Ted Randolph, he trains the Ducklings, dad he trains us, and we decided we wanted him the entire 8 years. From high school right into the academy, we're seniors in high school now, fresh start. So 14 to 22 years old, you're our academy mentor, so you, Harper, Deladier and Stone." he said and he nodded. "We're not criminals now, or big shots, but rather we're decent people, just like you, Commander."
"To us we see it the same way, Adam told us what he was doing with the Hawks, and we decided to raise the money ourselves by moderate priced goods. Like a fundraiser for a children's hospital, but Hanson was one of the un-named Hawks on the movie. You know Cole, Patterson, Riley, Brown and Larson, Adam's ex trio and their quintet. Scooter and Jared, Adam's brother joined the Naval Academy, they're here, we migrated here too." Fulton said and he nodded.
"Banks, Banks." he said and checked the list of 21 year old cadets he was training, in the Edina rankings then, and saw J. Banks and S. Holland and smiled. "Scott Holland and Jared Banks." Picard asked and he nodded. "Scott, nickname of Scooter, the kids adore him and Jared sees Adam's friends like his baby brothers and sisters." his father said and he nodded, smiling. "And there it is, duty to the truth, personal truth, you chose District 1." he said and they nodded.
"That's our jersey colors, cherry red, white and teal blue." she said and he chuckled and nodded, smiling. "Issues in the confessions, we were wondering what happened to you at the end of the movie, and you destroyed them in the showdown. Well this answers that question, you just migrated south for the winter now, and instead of freedom. From being picked on by a bunch of vultures, they followed you and get arrested by the base security." Landry said and he nodded.
"The Hawks are picking on you, my students, why exactly?" Daniel asked and Orion crossed his arms then. "It's because their mentor, you, managed to completely destroy their mentor, and they're taking it out on my players right now. The way the Hawks are taking their anger, that the Ducks got in, and blew away their brothers getting into their academy right now. But the Knights are doing far better in training, then the Hawks right now." he said and Picard nodded sternly.
"I'll let it go on a warning Knights, now for the final time, stay away from the Hawks." he said and they nodded to the orders. "Grr grr, grr grr grr." Denali said and they nodded. "Yeah the Knights are dressed in white fur, with the current Duck emblem on them and the Hawks. They are dressed in the academy Varsity jerseys, so though the movies ended 3 years ago. That they should be entering their final year of high school here now." Daniel said and he nodded then.
"Ente bring up the Atlantic City ice rinks, please." he said and they saw the rink with a lightsaber on one side of a lightning bolt and the Duck mask of the current movie on the other then. "Does the high school match Eden Hall academy in looks, to you, this is familiar here now." he asked and they nodded. "Yeah it does, and we like the set up, but no more rivalries, we own the school in hockey, Wes's team in Basketball, Alex in football here." he said and Daniel nodded, smiling.
"And thanks for setting up the racing track for us, we got a skating park to play at, get plenty of exercise, just being normal teenagers on the weekend now. Our apartments match our original there in Richfield, we never felt more at home now here on the ship. This is home and we can live at home and play for the academy district 1 hockey team now. As the teams are set to their color, in elevators now, so us teal blue, them dark cherry red." he said and Daniel nodded then.
"You don't think…" Anna started to say and he nodded. "The Edina Hawks are the Hawks on the movie." he said in realization then firmly. "They're here, both teams are here, the story wasn't made up, it's real." Daniel said and Landry nodded sternly. "Good god, you all look like the cast at their current ages, the movies ended 3 years ago." Daniel said and knew he nodded as he brought the 9, before 6 more members came in just behind them and Daniel nodded then.
"Alright guys what gives here, did you choose Atlantic City, because it matches, in colors, your current jersey?" he asked and they sighed. "Not lying to you Commander, you gave us a fresh start, after 3 years of trouble, and we left Minneapolis. To get away from them, like you had those losers right now, but it seems no matter where we go, they never leave us alone." Charlie said and they nodded then in understanding as he answered him gently at the news then.
"So you relocated to Atlantic City and the Hawks followed you, and it's back to this again?" Landry asked and they nodded sternly. "Yeah, that was so you could arrest them, and we can expose ourselves, we're the District 5 Mighty Ducks. It's been like this ever since the 1992 championships, and when dad got a coaching job at the academy. We all jumped on it, decided to relocate, but they followed us." his second said sternly and they nodded in understanding.
"Guys team off: red and white squads." he said over his shoulder and they split into two sides, as Fulton's fellow bash brother had his arms over the girls shoulders, their girl goalie. Was with Charlie, and he saw that half the sextet were on Charlie's team, the other Adam Banks's team. "Where's a tie breaker when you need one here." Daniel asked and Anderson smiled. "I'm the last of the team Commander, #95, Jared Anderson." he said gently and Daniel nodded, smiling.
"So you're a hockey player, and decided to join their team, you also from Richfield?" he asked and Anderson nodded, smiling. "Jared joined the team, not long after the showdown, we been together 3 years now, he's a Duck in every sense of the word. But we plan out our moves, instead of acting before we think, but we just plagiarized Reilly's motto. How big is every kid like Adam's younger sister." Averman said and Daniel started laughing at that and nodded gently.
"Issues in the color coding: is the Blue Knights, Green Dragons, Red Hawks, Silver Spartans, Orange Mustangs and Gold Panthers. So the Knights, Dragons, Spartans, Panthers, Mustangs and Hawks, we're the best Hockey team in the entire state now. No matter how the Hawks try, they just can't defeat us here, lose a game here or there, is fine here. That keeps us humble here, as you get too cocky you could blow it." he said and Picard nodded in approval smiling.
"You just did 3 of the state hockey league teams as district mascots." Gregory Goldberg added and he nodded. "But Admiral, we're not the ones that started this, but we sure as heck finished it, they blew any mental edge. That they had against us, now we know we own them, dad, we got them in enough trouble. That they could be expelled from high school, but as being as we never did that damage…." Captain Charlie Orion said and Coach Ted Orion smiled sternly at the.
Then, at that. "Psychology 101, throw the first punch, you lose any mental edge you had against your rival, and now they know they own you. They just blew their's against my players, my babies and now we got the Hawks, the NID, where we want them now." he said and Landry started laughing. "Wait dad?" Daniel asked and he nodded. "Captain Charlie Orion: captain and leader of the District 1 academy hockey team, son of Commander, Coach, Ted Orion, Sir."
"I changed my name back to my birth name, second husband is my mother's married, so the Orions, so mom, Uncle Jason. Aunt Claire, Uncle David, Uncle Rick, Aunt Jane, Uncle Peter, Uncle Phil, Uncle Joe." he said and they stepped forward and he nodded in shock. "Oh my god, you 3, you are…" Landry started to say and they nodded. "Jason Hall, Philip Banks and Casey Conway, yeah we are, I just took back my original married name, Orion." she said and her son nodded.
"We're taking our key positions here in Atlantic City, so butcher shop, at the district grocery story, I'm the head of the meat department. Claire is running the candy store, Jason's insurance policy on the requisite flight technology. As we don't have motor transportation out here, Andy's helping designing the added blue prints, he's a contractor, textiles and so on here, altogether we, their parents, make enough we can afford it." Joe Goldberg said to him then, gently then.
"Anyone get cut by that thing lately?" he asked and Goldberg shook his head. "If you mean the deli slicer then no, although that's still the sickest part of the opening I ever seen. They just cut his skin straight off his hand." he said in disgust and Daniel nodded. "I knew those things are sharp enough to cut meat, but do that to a man no older then their grandfather. These brats became possessed by the devil, if they murdered their parents." he said and he nodded sternly.
"Poor baby, that had to be extremely traumatizing." Anna said gently and he nodded in agreement. "Best guess is this He Who Walks Behind The Rows, just happens to be an Ori, and he possessed this brat, and took them with him. So the brat that lead the massacre, he's the Earth made Orici and murdered his most devoted follower now. After the kid's idea backfired, so that story is close to the truth as you can get." Goldberg said and Landry nodded in disgust.
"Or rather Conway, Charlie Conway." Charlie said and Daniel froze, as he looked at them, and de-aged them the bordering 4 years and froze in shock. "Eden Hall academy, the J.V. hockey team, that's really you, you're 17 trapped in going on 21 year old bodies now." he said and they nodded smiling. "Nobody knew exactly what became of us, as it ended with our victory, and we went on to win the rest of the season, and the following 2 years, with dad as our coach now."
"But Commander you ever wonder what happened to the team of the movie, after movie 3 ended, well here we are, we got into the academy now. So though the Atlantic City Jedi Knights, we're still the Mighty Ducks, and the Coach is really my dad. So said repeated fights between us, Bombay never realized he returned me back to my father. And both sides moved it here now, as dad got a teaching job here at the academy." Charlie said gently and he nodded in shock then.
"My team and I, we're the doubles to the cast of The Mighty Ducks trilogy, Coach Bombay just completed our Bantam training 3 years ago, we're seniors high school, now here. That Dad took it upon himself to bring us to college level now, we're that good." he said and they nodded. "I made calls into our acting doubles on the movie, they said yeah they're willing to go it again, and the 'Halls' are coming back, along with the 'Duncans '." he said and Picard nodded, smiling.
"I also moved it out here now, guys, so new coaching job, and I can run the district ice rink, that whoever had the bowling had that now here." he said and Landry nodded. "We're still making sure there's enough jobs to go around here, so whatever you did for a living. You have it right here in Atlantic City, safely away from all the threats of life, in an Urban town." Catherine said and they nodded. "Well I quit the job at the games." their old coach said and she nodded.
"Looks like the entire cast, minus the man playing Nick and their high school teachers are coming back for this one." he said and they nodded. "It's movie 3, instead of movie 1, Admiral, dad's appearance in look alikes, Kathleen's here, along with David, James Craven and of course is Jeff, and I'm the spitting image of Josh himself, at his current age, I changed and grew up. Same appearance and attitude, we're just completely totally devoted to my father here now."
"And dad is Captain Harper there in hockey form." he said and Landry nodded smiling at the news then gently. "Pre academy by 1 one year, and you're going into Starfleet, as the District 1 hockey team." he said and they nodded. "Well that's new canon, from what happened at the end of the movie, we just took a new fork in the road and came to this. Instead of our future careers, we became Starfleet officers, so duty to the truth." Charlie said and he nodded gently.
"Alright so Charlie Orion, Jesse and Terry Hall, Connie Monroe, Adam Banks, Guy Germaine, Greg Goldberg, Les' Averman, Fulton Reed and Tammy and Tommy Duncan. Dean Portman, Julie Gaffney, Russel Tyler, Kenny Wu, Luis Mendoza and Dwayne Robertson. Not realizing we hired your hockey coach to run the academy District 1 hockey team. You all decided to relocate here, only your city rivals followed you and back to this again." Picard said and they nodded gently.
"Somebody better stop messing around here, we're not doing this all day, you wiseacre." he said and Russel Tyler nodded, smiling. "Russel, what you guys do this time exactly?" Daniel asked and he hid a laugh, "Monster Blood attack in the dorms, it's like the magic escaped the media, and ended up in the dorms, and this had them so pissed. That they all forgot what time it is, and Coach heard the racket and arrested them." he said and Wes started laughing at that news.
"Yeah we'll get along just fine, guys." he said and they nodded smiling, looked at him smiling then. "Our parents in the 6 of us know we're here, but we were hoping to get away from these guys, but it's seems no matter where we go, they never leave us alone. But hey if they call us Greasers, then they're Socs, and Socs these days, became drug addicts and alcoholics. Somebody came back drunk and paid the price, again." he said and they started laughing then.
"Alright guys, that's enough of the pranks and practical jokes here, before you completely tick them off and enough to trigger a riot here." Greyson said smiling and he nodded. "Hanson's in appearance the guy playing Riley on the movie, same personality, but same age here. And I had about had my fill of him, the prick is actually seeing this the same way the Varsity. Now, saw us prior here, but as the sextet never knew, and we 11 did..." he said and they nodded smiling.
"Yeah, the Varsity's brothers and the Hawks could be one and the same, Banks said his older son was a Hawk." Landry said and he nodded. "Turns out they were, the Varsity are the big brothers of the Hawks, after showing me what Russ found in the lockers. We know only one team that dresses in black, with the symbol of a Hawk on their jerseys. That team is the Hawks, and this was revenge for us winning the 1992 championships." he said and they nodded sternly.
"But after 3 years of this crap, excuse me, you offering dad the District 1 academy hockey team position, we jumped on it, time to relocate finally here. Time to show them how a true team works, and our mentors are Commander Jackson and dad, we're the Atlantic City Hockey team. At the academy, we're 17 now." he said and Landry nodded, smiling then. "Well guys, if they're bigger and stronger, use what they don't have, speed and agility." Daniel said and they nodded.
"Especially when we got girls on this team, protect our sisters." Jesse Hall said and he nodded, as Connie leaned against Charlie and he chuckled then gently. "Aw crap, if you're here, then so are the Hawks!" Daniel said sharply and Charlie nodded with a sigh. "With you choosing the Varsity colors, they chose red, black and gold, but the primary color is black here. They're walking around in night gear with red armbands on, we chose these." he said and he nodded.
"Looks like the hotheads chose my color, while the 18 of you chose Jason's." Austin said and he nodded to him then. "Yeah we did, we're like Jason, with the act of martial arts in hockey form here, these guys. If they lose it entirely are a one man wrecking crew here, but the Hawks came too, but no matter 8 years, nothing changes, they're still picking on us. And it's J.V. Hawks, rather than their big brothers, but like Bombay and his father, you're our mentor, Commander."
"Your training is our only chance, if they never think before they act, are the Hawks really the best line of defense the United States military forces have to offer. Being as we could do this better and even blind folded here, with your training and tutelage." Connie Monroe said and he nodded sternly to the news. "Yeah I love you guys too, so me and Ted should be enough right now, and with that, he's got them, I got you baby girl." he said and Jack swallowed hard.
"Being as I already got them through basic training mentally to handle this, you do the rest Daniel, you're too much like me as it is, take care of them." Gordon Bombay, their old coach, said and he nodded. "I will, I promise Gordon." he said to him gently and Jack started shaking in fear then, realizing another movie series was true now. "Never saw this coming Colonel, hmm, that we, the Minneapolis Mighty Ducks went into the military, and we joined the Starfleet here."
"Well we did, and your district is not still not leaving us alone, so we'll see who is better here, after said first mistake, with the weaponry." Adam Banks said sternly and he swallowed hard at the news. "I doubt anyone saw this coming right now, that the most famous underdog hockey team joined the pre academy program in Starfleet. And are living on the Enterprise, so the Varsity Mighty Ducks are now officially the A.C. Jedi Knights." Coach Ted Orion said sternly then.
"Hey Ted, thanks for the help in this, you and Gordon are me entirely in my personality, but my godson, is basketball." he said and he nodded smiling, as he shook his hand then. "It's no trouble at all, I about had my fill of those preppies, a bunch of aging pep clubbers here. I wanted a fresh start, hearing from me that I been offered this job, after learning this. A family meeting ensued on one side and their parents agreed on the other." he said and Daniel nodded.
"Hey General, we just got in now, we're ready to go it again right now, and I just completed my cameo, on The Muppets." Joshua Jackson called out and he nodded smiling. "This is both versions of the team, and the Duncans and Brandon's brother just came back." Daniel said and he nodded as he answered him then. "Fair enough I can recall them, but thank god Aaron and J.D. never came back, although the Hawks had." Marguarite Moreau said and he nodded then.
"Our parents?" Josh asked and he nodded. "Yeah and your characters parents are here too, so your mother is Jeff's wife this time, still you guys, it is you, so back as Charlie Orion-Conway." he said and Josh nodded smiling. "Still us, this where we went, Jeff got a coaching job at the Starfleet academy, and hearing this, we all jumped on it. And relocated to the Enterprise, but the Hawks followed us here, and we used our technique, on their brothers against them now."
"Well this answers what happened to us, the new series coming out in 20 years, never comes to pass, right now, as Emilio rejected the offer. And trained the next generation of the team now, we got into Starfleet academy, and became the Atlantic City Hockey team now." Kenan said and he started laughing and nodded smiling in agreement to as the cast exchanged grins at that remark gently. "We're 21, playing a group of near pre academy." Brandon Addams said to that.
"It's exactly 3 years later, entering seniors in high school and we're pre-cadets at the Starfleet academy, but team 1: the Atlantic City Knights, or Ducks. That you're still you, just you all moved it out to the Antarctic outpost, because your father's hidden career. Was really a military officer, only the Hawks never knew that." he said and Heidi shook her head, smiling then. "Dead man walking here, alright, so never divorced, two families." she said and Charlie nodded then.
"Like I said drill sergeant, my remark was closer to the truth, then they expected here." he said and Landry started laughing at that. "Well I am now you wiseacre, don't push it, son, Jared's unit is his future students, Jennifer, Christina, Jason and Brandon, you're joining their quadrant." Orion said and they nodded, smiling. "No problem, well warm ups, shooting practice and the practice our moves, in that order, practice games on Thursdays." he said and Orion nodded.
"But yeah, you and dad explained to me you took a step back, after his career nearly had him relocate to L.A., but you never wanted to leave the sextet. And you separated, 2 years after having me, 7 years later came the accident that nearly killed Karen. And you met Bombay as he became my coach, but your fears became dismantled. Once I let my shields down, realizing he and I are too much alike, he's my father." he said and she and Nordling nodded smiling gently.
"Lost 12 years, get the other 3 and a lifetime back and my Martial Arts counterpart is me, in Karate form now, same thing guys, he's just teaching you everything I taught you. But these brats are blue collars, so take it to them kids." he said and they nodded smiling sternly. "What you want a bet the Novas try that again and it kills someone else, after create that fleet here?" Josh asked and they nodded. "No bet, I don't doubt they will baby." she said and he nodded.
"Our district matches, in looks, Richfield, just without the garbage in the streets, it's completely clean here, we can skate on the in-line skating park, go to the mall, to the movies. Library, enjoy being normal teenagers, just without the added trouble now, but new home. Means we're dressing in winter clothes all the time, with it being that cold outside, no pollution. All clean air here, it's practically paradise here." Connie said and Heidi and Nordling nodded with a chuckle.
"Alright again guys, keep to your sides, we hear anything else, and they're the ones getting arrested here for it." Chief Davis said and they nodded. "Alright hold on, Ente, I want level 5 security shields on district boundaries, with the Varsity Ducks. And now Varsity Hawks still going at, unless it's a game, door's closed." Landry said and heard a gentle response. "Yes Admiral I'll take care of it." she said and they nodded, as they waited to see what happened then...
Avalon/Glastonbury And The Treasure:
After a week of training and the sextet got ready, it was that same week, that Data and Lal Spiner were born, carrying all their human knowledge. And after incorporating a new way to look and act human, they turned themselves into Androids. Only withouts the metal endo-skeletons, and incorporating their own brand of food and water fuel. They could blend in, with the rest of the crew now, as Data was dressed in the same style uniform that Geordi was.
While Lal was dressed in the same style Wesley was now as they flew the saucer section to the coordinates then, that Vala gave them. At the time now, as the group was gathered around the navigation console, on the adult bridge. "At least the ship is not going to sink from having that much treasure, coming on board, once we find it, as just two trunks. Said sank the jolly boat that Tim was in, before he got marooned on the island." Wesley said and Landry hid a chuckle.
"All right, excuse me son, guys clear the way kids, alright Lieutenant Marks, what do you got?" Landry asked and he explained. "Well, thanks to the ship sensors, we were able to map around the energy distortion that would have normally fooled deep ground sonar. I was able to define a large main cavern, a network of tunnels, and some smaller caves." he said to him then gently and he nodded. "So we found the entrance into the chamber, perfect." Daniel said to that news.
"Well done, Lieutenant." Cam said and he nodded. "Can you see what's in there, say large piles of metals?" Vala asked and he shook his head. "It's another Barque of heaven, obstacle course and then you get the goods." he said and the duo nodded in aggravation. "Well first test of our new team, so nobody get too uptight with each other." he said and she, and the 8 all nodded. "Uh, like I said, we could only map the exterior of the structure." he said and they nodded.
"Can you get us in there?" Cam asked and he shook his head. "Well, it's almost a half-mile underground, and there's no visible access from the surface." he said and Sarah crossed her arms. "Q what kind of technology did you put into this thing: advanced human technology won't work, options left?" she asked and Daniel looked up. "Asgard beams." he suggested and Marks shook his head and as he answered him, as Sarah, Anna and Vala exchanged looks at this.
"Tried that. Doesn't seem to penetrate whatever sort of energy shield is disguising the caves." he said and they nodded. "Wait, this is the Ancient Outpost disguised as the enterprise that if beaming technology doesn't work, and I found a ring transporter…" O'brien said and Vala smiled then. "Rings, we take rings." she said and everyone looks at her. "The Ancients were the Gate Builders, right? And they invented the rings too, they had to get in and out of there somehow."
"And I know this ship has rings, in disguise of the teleporter, so go with being an Ancient prodigy, beam in and by rings." she said and he smiled. "And there's being a skilled tactician, without explosives, use the ringing systems to get in and out." Cam said at that gently. "She's right." Daniel said and Marks nodded then. "Colm, I can upload the coordinates to your terminal, you do the rest, but Colonel, if there are rings down there, we should be able to lock on."
"But your radios won't work." he said and they nodded. "Risk I'm willing to take, to prevent the Ori from getting over here." Daniel said and Landry nodded. "The system lords were Jack, the Ori are me, along with Vala and Cam joining in and Teal'C switched journeys." he said and he nodded. "Colonel you know there's a slight possibility, you could get stuck in there?" he said and Daniel. "Just like there's a risk of the gate falling off the cliff." he said and Picard smiled gently.
"Yes it's a risk, but there is no pleasure of the gain, if there is no risk of the journey to get to it, and this is a big gain, and the first victory for us, the SGA." he said and Landry nodded as Daniel and Cam exchange looks, as Cam crosses the room, clapping Daniel on the shoulder. "Bring the first aid kit, before someone gets hurt." He said to Keller and she nodded in sympathy as they got into position. "You 5 go in first, we're right behind you." Dixon said and he nodded then.
"With this power drain, we may have trouble communicating with the Enterprise, sir." Lieutenant Commander Data Brent Spiner said, and he nodded. "Understood. Anything else?" he asked and he nodded. "Due to this forcefield, there is presently no way to beam us back, sir, till we completed the tests." he said and Geordi sighed in exasperation. "Oh, you had to ask." He said and Will said it emphatically. "Understood." he said to him and then said it to Daniel gently.
"Daniel we're going in first, man, check the perimeter." he said and Daniel nodded to him. "Don't touch anything till we get in there, it's in Ancient, only I can read it." he said and they nodded to the orders, as they waited then "Energise." he said to Colm then as they beamed out, before, after a minute, the rings swoop down, depositing Cam, Keller, Teal'c, Daniel and Vala into a large dark cave. "Commander, we're over here!" Geordi called out and Daniel nodded in relief then.
That he shouted out to him then, before they had to go looking for their third team then, as, looking at the psyched look on Cam. It was, presumably, Cam's first time to travel by ring transport. "Wicked, if I thought gate travel is cool, this is even better!" he said and the trio exchanged amused smiles, as they swoop their flashlights around, for dangers. "And empty." he said as the quintet came in right behind them as Cam starts exploring the cave Vala follows.
"Guys get back over here, before you get lost, these doors could be booby trapped." Daniel said and they nodded and moved to them. "Thank god for your expertise here, in archeology, this happens all the time." he said and Daniel nodded. "Well we're just missing the girls and Worf otherwise, we got your entire team here, Will." he said and Will nodded, smiling. "I can't believe they never took your remarks sooner, this looks like the temple in India." Data said to him then.
"You do realize you're quoting the kids on the first season, with what we get into?" he asked and Cromwell tried to keep from laughing. "Yeah alright guys, let's focus here so no one gets lost in here, well at least no one over did it. But this took being an archeologist and explorers a little too far right now." he said and they nodded. "Yeah alright split into 3 groups of 5, stick together no stragglers, before you get lost in here, and leave the channel open." he said to him then.
"Yeah so what's next exactly, Kali was a blood thirsty goddess, we always knew that." Geordi said to him and he nodded. "Hence the fact after killing Sobek, she took his head, and has it hanging on the wall of her throne room." he said and they shuddered. "First the heart, now the head, what's the next body part to go." Cam asked and Vala looked at him. "If it's a man, do you need to ask, Cameron?" she said and they nodded. "Point taken." Will said for all of them.
"A sword in a stone." Cam said and Daniel nodded. "We're on the right track, King Richard Lionheart, we're on the first crusade." he said and Cam nodded. "Meaning we keep that up, and instead of a surgical strike, and we do it in a prevention over cure." Dixon said and Daniel nodded, as Vala, still getting used to earth metaphors, said it gently. "What's that supposed to mean?" she said and Keller chuckled. "Military metaphor, Vala." she said to her and she nodded.
"Well, King Arthur once pulled a sword from a stone as proof of his righteousness and royalty." he said and Cam nodded. "I read the book, but I love Arthurian legends, Excalibur." he said and Daniel chuckled and at that. "Actually, that's a common misconception, see, Excalibur was forged by the Lady of the Lake at Avalon, but it wasn't given to King Arthur. And until after the sword he pulled from the stone broke in battle." he said and they nodded smiling to the news.
"This one must be the same sword that got destroyed, here we go again, alright Cam be careful, there could be a booby trap." Dixon said and Cam smiles and spits in his palms, rubbing them together. He approaches the sword and tries to pull it out to no avail, groaning with the effort. "Give it a try, Muscles, I'll give you half." she said and Teal'C looks at Vala, who's still smiling and nodding encouragingly, as Cam grunts and releases his hold on the sword and nodded.
"Okay, yeah, that's in there pretty good." he said as immediately after Mitchell steps back from the stone, a noise is heard that puts the 8 men on alert, readying their weapons. A hologram appears of an old, white-bearded man, dressed in long robes and holding a long staff. "Hold fire, remember show no violence, that must be Merlin's avatar for the game here." Daniel called out and the 7 lowered their guns, as he listened to the avatar gently to the message then.
"Welcome, ye knights of the round table, men of honor, followers of the path of righteousness. Only those with wealth of knowledge and truth of spirit shall be given access to the underworld. the storehouse of riches of Ambrosius Aurelianus, prove ye worthy, and all shall be revealed." he said and they nodded. "Just take it easy on the bullets, no wasting ghosts, and Teal'C, relax." Dixon said and the sextet and Vala nodded
"That's incredible. Certain scholars have speculated that Ambrosius and Arthur were one and the same, but that would have made him 74 years old at the Battle of Mount Badon. It's actually quite fascinating. See, Ambrosius was the son of the Emperor Constantine…" Daniel said and Bert smiled as he exchanged relieved looks with Teal'C, hearing him sound like his old self again. The enthusiasm for the job returning again, as he started his new life with them finally then.
Vala approaches the stone and sits on it, playing her hand across the sword hilt. When she thinks no one is paying attention, she attempts to pull the sword out herself with no success. "Yes, yes, yes. Fascinating, is the one thing it's not, how do we prove ye worthy and get all to be revealed?" Vala said and Teal'C thought it over, as he looked from her to the tunnels behind her and further into the cave and nodded. "We've 10, so 2 teams?" Addams said and he nodded.
"Perhaps there is something in these tunnels, just be safe, because if the Unas penetrated, it's another shootout waiting to happen." he said and they nodded. "Got it, alright guys, you go that way, Teal'C you're in charge here, Jennifer you're with us, Vala." Dixon said to that gently and she nodded. "See, that is why he's here, Genius, we're going to split up. I'm with Teal'c. Yo! Wait up." he said as he followed him Bert, Shepard and Addams then and they nodded then.
Separating on that, they walked the cavern then, while Teal'C and Mitchell come to a small chamber at the end of the tunnel. A stone altar is centered in the chamber. As they approach, flames ignite from small round objects set in the floor, Teal'C appears disturbed. And Cam smiles and approaches the altar, cautiously viewing the room for any danger. "Check this out." he said smiling, Teal'C enters the chamber cautiously, scanning behind him to the entrance.
A moment later, a large stone slab lowers behind him, sealing both he and Mitchell in the room. Both try and stop the slab before it reaches the floor, but do not succeed. "Okay, that can't be good…, Jackson, come in, Daniel, can you hear me?" he said into the radio, and Bert nodded. "The forcefield, they're interfering with our radios, outside of the ship, Cam." he said and they, Shepard and Addams nodded in agreement, knowing they had to wait then as they started…
Daniel:
As at the same time Daniel, Vala, Keller and Dixon were wondering their side of the cavern, til they have reached the end of their tunnel and find a similar chamber. And to the one discovered by Mitchell and Teal'c as they approach, the flames in their circular nests on the floor again wink into existence. "If you immediately know the candlelight is fire…" he said with a reminder to what Morgan told him, knowing he would understand said proverb one day at the remark.
"Huh?" she said and he shook his head. "Nothing, it's okay Vala, just something Morgan said, I'm trying to figure out the meaning." he said and she nodded gently. "Hmm." she said and they turned enter the chamber. As soon as they pass the threshold, a large stone slab. The lowers to the floor, it has already sealed them in by the time Daniel approaches and checks its weight. Vala looks forlorn for a moment at being trapped, then runs her light around the room.
There is also a stone altar in their alcove, on which two covered pots set. One pot is silver, the other gold. "Okay, the hologram said that 'only those with the wealth of knowledge and truth of spirit will pass, so this has to be a test." he said to Dixon and he nodded as they approach the altar. In front of each pot is a caption written in Ancient. Vala gestures to the gold pot with her flashlight. "What does it say?" she asked and he read out the message to her gently then.
"It says 'the universe is infinite'." he said and she nodded. "That seems "infinitely" not useful. How about this one?" she said and he read it out. "The treasure is in this pot."" he said and she nodded. "Really? I was hoping for something a little more substantial, but okay…" she said to that and reaches for the lid, but Daniel stops her, raising his finger in warning. "Wait, wait, wait, you guys and your riddles, timer till you get it right." he said and she nodded then gently.
"Too obvious?" she said and he shook his head then. "Give me a minute." he said holding his hand up, as he tries to think the puzzle through. Vala pauses for two seconds, then grunts and again reaches for the lid of the pot, Daniel waves his hand at her again, halting her movement. "Not a minute….., Still not a minute." he said and Dixon nodded, as he waited patiently for him to get it worked out then for their side of it, as at the same time, Cam had moved to table.
Teal'C And Cam:
As sitting there were eight stone squares labeled with symbols are set into tiny indentations on the stone altar. Below the eight squares is a caption written in Ancient. Mitchell is studying the altar as Teal'c runs the light from his flashlight along the walls and ceiling of the alcove. "All right. I am assuming this is some kind of puzzle. Can you read this writing?" he asked and Teal'c moves over to the altar and looks at the Ancient writing. "No." he said and he sighed at that.
"Well, I think we're supposed to arrange the stones in some sort of order. What do you think?" he said to him, and Teal'C looks back at the slab covering the entrance. He aims his Ak-47 weapon and fires repeatedly at the stone, causing Cam to jump and aim his own weapon. When Cam realizes Teal'C is only firing at the stone slab, he becomes very agitated, bouncing on his feet. "Teal'C damn it, we told you about that, stone wall." Bert said to him sternly at that.
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa, man! Bullets bounce!" Cam said sternly, emphasizing this by using his finger to demonstrate a ricochet, looking like he's drawing a 7 in the air, twice. He shakes his head and returns his attention to the puzzle. Teal'C meanwhile begins to grin as he studies his colleague's discomfiture, as Cam glances back at Teal'c and is annoyed at Teal'c's expression. He sighs and takes the eight symbols out of their recessed places at that in aggravation then.
Daniel:
Still working out the riddle, Daniel is standing and thinking, holding his finger up in a gesture of wait. Vala has moved so that she is on the other side of the altar from him, getting very antsy. "Okay, how about this? We open both of them. Whichever one the treasure's in is the right one." she said to him and he shook his head. "No, I think that's the wrong idea. There's two pots here, I think the point of the exercise is to only open one pot." he said and she nodded to him then.
"This says, 'treasure is inside." she said and he nodded. "It's the reverse, but lift that lid, we triggered the timer, so just wait right now." Dixon said, coming to inevitable conclusion, knowing this was why Jack was too impatient with Riddles. "Right. Which makes it the obvious first choice." he said to him then. "So, over to the gold." she said and he said it. "No." he said and she said it quickly. "Back to the silver then." she said and he quickly said it to that then.
"No. D-D-Don't." he sajd, but before he can stop her, Vala lifts the lid on the silver pot. "It's empty." She said and then sighed. "There's nothing I hate more than a bold faced lie." she said and slams the lid down, puts her hand on her hip and sighs. "Okay." she said and reaches for the gold pot's lid, but Daniel grabs her arm with one hand and points his weapon at her with the other. "Wou…Would you stop!" he said sternly to her at that and she looked at him then.
"What? We're already trapped in here. How much worse can it get?" She asked, before a low rumbling is heard, as they all look up as dust starts falling. The ceiling is beginning to lower on top of them. "Ask a stupid question…." Keller said in aggravation and he nodded sternly then. "How about that much?" he said to her then. "I knew it was a mistake the moment I said it. The moment." she said, as at the same time then, Cam and Teal'C are trying to figure out their's.
Mitchell:
As Cam places the blocks in a combination in the indented places. When the last one is in place, he pauses for a second, but nothing happens. "Okay. That didn't work." he said and they hear a rumbling, Teal'c looks around and notices the dust starting to settle from above. "Oh boy, great someone set off the security alarm, in trying to take guesses." Bert said, knowing immediately what was happening as the ceiling begins to lower. "Indeed." he said to him and Cam said it.
And in aggravation. "Oh, come on!" He said and as they desperately pull the blocks back out of the indentations to try another combination, as at the same time Vala pulls her arm away from Daniel and opens the gold pot in desperation. "This one's empty too!" she said and he nodded. "I know!" he said, knowing they blew the first attempt then, before she said it. "That doesn't make sense!" she said and he nodded. "I know!" he snapped at her sternly, as he tried to do it.
"Captain Mitchell!" he said and Cam glances around to see if the combination he tried worked. Immediately, he starts pulling out the blocks to start once again. "Two down, and only a billion possible combinations to go." he said and he said it through gritted teeth. "Are you still having fun, Captain Mitchell?" he said at that and Cam spares a momentary glance at Teal'c before continuing to work on the puzzle, while Teal'c still tries to push against the ceiling.
And without success as Mitchell keeps working on puzzle combinations. "Do you ever get a bad feeling about something?" he said to him, praying Daniel arrived to get him out of this, as he was a novice, as an archeology prodigy. And clearly he had a lot to learn from the older man, as he tried again then, in getting it right then…..
