Not counting her drinking and possibly sociopathic side, Dash is admittedly the kinda girl I am attracted too. A punk goth metal head, for her it's bands like Sum41 and Offspring, but not the over the top kind of goth.. And also shares my sarcasm, most of them do really, even Carly.. It's part of why Dash and Packie can work off each other so well, as she was already sarcastic way beforehand.. Though in most other senses, it'll be more of her sister Sally that I would probably end up my perfect girlfriend. Who probably also likes that kinda music. It wouldn't be too surprising.. My other pick would be Carly's friend, Pinkie Lancer..

This doesn't have any story relevance, it's just a fun fact..

For the next few weeks, Francis McCreary and his new girlfriend, Jazmine Matthews, continue to be a throne in Packie's and Dash's back. Derrick ended up trhe one to stand up to Jazmine, causing her annoyance, to the point she tries to frame him for a few things, but none of them pan out. Once Francis hears about this he decides it's time to settle this, so he calls Niko Bellic, who did a few missions for him (Francis blackmailed into it).

Niko meets Francis in a empty park, Francis explains that Derrick intends to talk to a journalist Jazmine's and his corruption, which makes Derrick a problem needing to be dealt with. Thus, Francis firmly suggests to Niko to "stop" Derrick. Niko, who knows what he truly meant, is disguested that Francis would even suggest such a thing and immediately refuses. Francis however tells Niko there is no choice, as if he doesn't he will have Niko arrested for all his crimes. Niko reluctantely finally agrees and climbs up to a roof top, grabbing a sniper rifle.

Francis meets Derrick at a park in Lancet. However Jazmine herself makes unexpected visit, clearly drunk, and immediately starts threatening to shoot Derrick. Francis calming her down for pragmatic reasons, it'll be stupid to shoot him right here and now, in a public area. However, as he explains this he himself is suddenly shot, proving Niko chose to kill Francis, though thanks his poor timing, this ultimately proves fruitless as a enraged Jazmine shoots Derrick anyway, and than immediately flees the area.

THE NEXT DAY:

While sitting around watching TV in his apartment, Niko gets call from Roman. If you played the game, he offically lives in Playboy's old house. Roman lives in the other big one.

Packie: Niko, I don't know if you've heard it but my brother, Derrick, is dead.

"Oh damn man, really?" Niko said, trying to play dumb.

Packie: Yeah. I just hope he was smacked out of his brain when it happened because it wouldn't have suited him to be jonesing when he died.. Francis is dead too, but I'm not gonna even bother with that one, I never liked him anyway.. Also, Gerald got himself arrested. They got him in the Alderney State Correctional Facility.

"Shit, they took Gerry down?" Niko asked.

Packie: He's always being hauled in but the charges don't stick, he'll be fine., Anyway, come to Derrick's funeral, it'd mean a lot to the family. It's today at the Church in Suffolk. Remember to wear a Niko suit. We can't have you dressed like a bum in the church.

Preacher: While no one is suggesting he was an angel, none of us are... that is why God put us on earth and not in heaven. The trials of humanity were sometimes too much for him to bear, but he was a committed family man, and a man of beliefs. God asks us to show faith and that is what he did, in his way. Derrick gave so much of himself and will be sorely missed by us all. Amen.. Now, if you will all please join me, in the procession to the cemetery.

"Hey Kate.. I'm sorry about your brother" Niko said, approaching Kate. Niko is wearing a black suit with a red tie.

"I'm not. I'm sorry for Ma. I gave up on my brothers a long time ago. The most I ever expected from them was to put flowers on their coffins." Kate admitted.

"You have a strange family." Niko said.

"Who doesn't?" Kate replied.

"I don't know," Niko admitted.

"Daaaash!" shouted a sudden voice from outside, and out stumbled Jazmine, who was once again drunk, and even still in her uniform.

"Oh look, if it isn't the officer Karen." Packie snarked.

"Shut up! Y You guys killed Francis! I know you did!" The drunk Jazmine slurred.

"That guy was a dick, but we didn't do it." Dash insisted.

"Liar! Your a fuckin' Liar!.. THERE OVER HERE! KILL THEM!" Jazmine yelled. And suddenly, without warning, gunfire filled the air, as a rival gang pulled out in cars, shooting the place up.

"SHIT! EVERYONE DOWN!" Packie shouted as Dash and him fired back with their pistols.

"Dash protect Ma snd Kate, Niko helped me defend the church!" Packie cried, Niko running over and doing exactly that with his pistol, Dash pulling the others into the church. But as she's doing so, suddenly Jazmine kicked open a back entrance.

"Daaash! I'll fucking kill you!" Jazmine cried drunkenly, blindfiring her police issue glock at Dash and the crowd, Dash getting shot in the shoulder and dropping her pistol near Kate, who visably took notice.

Jazmine slowly walked to the wounded Dash, but once she was close enough, Dash tackled her against a wall, knocking away Jazmine's gun.

Jaz, even in her drunken state, headbutts her and knocking her away. Giving Jazmine a chance to pull out a switchblade she always carries. She really is Itilian, but doesn't mind being a stereotype.

Jazmine violently stabs her in the stomach, twice. Being the first so far that can actually outfight Dash, even when drunk. Dash screams in agony and falls onto the ground, Jazmine goes to kick her when suddenly a bullet flies though the side of her head, Jazmine pauses there a moment, before immediately falling down dead, Dash looking to see it was Kate holding the gun, still shaking as it was her first time.

Dash would of went to hug her, but was in to much agony to even move and is carried off by a few strangers, assumably to a hospital.

"THIS A HOLY PLACE YOU BASTARDS!" Packie cried in rage, as did the enemies in front of the church, Niko shooting too.

Niko fires, shooting one wait though the forehead, and another twice in the chest, killing both.

Before long, Niko and Packie quickly cleared the area of enemies, despite both only having their pistols.

"I think that's all of them.. (to the church) Everyone! Get out while you can!" Packie cried.

"Packie, Dash is hurt!" Kate cried, tearfully.

"We'll deal with that later, Niko into the van with me." Packie said, too preoccupied to be as concerned as he normally would. He and Niko get into the van holding Derrick's coffin, driving it to the burial site.

Packiw: Only a McReary family funeral would get shot up like this! We're a cursed family Niko. I'm telling you.. Shit! So much for "luck of the Irish"!

Niko: How'd you figure?

Packie: Look at our fuckin track history me boy!.. Michael's dead, Derrick's dead, Francis is dead, and Gerald is doing time.. Shit!.. Only one's I have left are Gordo and Dash!

Niko: You forgot Kate.

Packie: I coulda fucking guessed you'd bring her up. I was thinking you only kept those hitmen away from the church to protect my sister.

Niko: I did it for all of you.

Packie: Sure you did, Niko. Tell yourself you did it out of the grave of your own heart rather than for another piece of your anatomy. Which ain't gonna get used, I might add.

Niko: We're only friends.

Packie: Oh please. I see the way you look at her.. Point is.. Don't go trying to get into Kate's pants, not now.. Dash either.
