Niko, Little Jacob, and Dash group together to go after Jimmy's remaining men. Roman also tags along, much to Niko's reluctance to bring him, as Roman has no combat expirence nor is he even a fighter. But Roman says he's there for emotional support.

After an extended car chase, Niko eventrually arrives at a abandoned casino in the North of Alderney, where gunfire immediately rains on them, Niko, still fearing for Roman's safety, tells him and Jacob to leave, and find a helicvopter, as he'll be needing one. They run off, but Dash stays, helping with the battle as she engages the enemies with the M4Carbine she still had on her. Niko using his SMG, and still somehow managing the beigger body count.

The two fight their way into the casino, once the area is clear they find Pegorino.

"You motherfucka! Don't think this is anyone's fault but your own. We could have ran this city together, but you just had to be stupid and ruin everything! " Jimmy said from the upper level.

"I wanted out. And you killed someone I cared for. It's over for you Jimmy." Niko said in tranquil fury, Dash standing just behind him silent. Jimmy cowardly runs out, causing the two to chase. "I'll give 10 G's to whichever fool ice's those bastards!" Jimmy is heard saying.

Unsurprisingly this cause another gunfight making their way to Jimmy, who flees in a speed boat. Niko gives chase on a dirt bike, unknowingly leaving Dash behind in the heat of it. And she has to catch up with him later. After a short while, Roman and Jacob arrive in a helicopter as promised. Niko jumps a ramp and manages to lands himself on one of skids as the bike falls below. Roman helping Niko up.

Once aboard, Niko takes over the controls (as Jacob claims that he's bad at flying) and flies over Pegorino's boat with Jacob shooting at it. The boat catches fire but due to a Rocket Launcher shot so does the helicopter. Jimmy manages to escape from the boat at Happiness Island, a small island where the GTA's verison of the liberty Statue sits. Niko somehow safely lands the burning helicopter and goes after Pegorino, again leaving the other two behind.

After a chase Niko and corners Jimmy at a dead end and they engage in a SMG duel, where Jimmy can only land one shot before he covered in bullets and falls to his knees, said bullet not even hitting Niko.

"I told you, to leave me alone." Niko said angrily, slowly appraching the mortally wounded Jimmy as he's coughing up blood and on his knees.

"I give the orders. (cough) Me."

Niko lowers his gun, giving a deadpan "Ain't looking so good there Jim boy."

"Fuck you." Jimmy spat out, coughing some more.

"What the fuck, did she ever do to you?" Niko growled under his teeth.

"I was aiming for you, you immigrant dipshit." Jimmy coughed up. Though neither of them seemed to realize the bullet was actually gonna hit Dash and Kate ended up taking it to save her. Though it's not like Jimmy had stuck around long enough to catch something like that.

"Big talk.. Wanna know something? The commission.. I met one of them.. And he said that you, were nothin' but a fat, fucking joke." Niko told him, still deadpan.

"Whatever." Jimmy growled.

"A joke!" Niko mocked, letting out a laugh. Enraged Jimmy draws up his gun, but Niko immediately responds with lightening reflexs and shoots him clean in the head, causing Jimmy to fall backwards, and blood pours out onto the grass. Niko's face shows that once more the revenge was as satifying as he thought, in fact he wasn't sure what to do now.

As he's struggling with such thoughts the other's finally catch up, including Dash who the others had ran into. Dash sees the corpse.

"Niko you -you did it." she said.

"Yeah.. Guess I did." Niko said quitely, catching her off guard with such a response.

"He's gone man. We're free.. We won!" Roman said excitedly. Niko doesn't reply and simply walks off. confusing Dash and Roman, but Jacob is the only one to catch on and runs after him to probably say something comforting. Dash takes one last look at Jimmy's corpse.

"That was for Kate." she said to herself.

Niko really is one of the best GTA characters, I'm glad I was getting back to him with this story.. A troubled war veteran will always be one of the most interesting characters..

It's even off hand mentioned he doesn't let Ariena watch war movies like Saving Private Ryan. At least not when he's home..
