A year after the Clades had discovered the truth of their world, Ethan was at the turtle's head in order to check up on it.

"You look to be feeling much better since the first time I saw you," said Ethan while leaning on the railing of his ship. The turtle was looking at him with wet eyes and nice glossy skin.

"Still can't believe we almost killed you," he said.

"But we didn't," said Diazo as he walked up with two cups in hand.

"True, and we're getting a chance to make up for our mistakes by taking care of him now," said Ethan with a smile while taking one of the cups.

"Hey guys, something is up with Splat," said a girl as the small creature bounced around while looking out at the ocean.

"Wait, there's something out there," said Diazo, who noticed a black dot on the horizon.

"Wonder what…," said Ethan as he used a spyglass to get a better look.

"What is it?" asked the girl.

"Head course for home, we need to leave now in order to talk to my dad," said Ethan before rushing to the bridge of the ship. Meanwhile, Searcher was back in Avalonia working on his fields.

"Looks like you could use a break," said Meridian who walked up to her husband with a basket.

"Thanks, I could use a nice drink right now," said Searcher with a smile.

"Searcher!" yelled someone as they ran up.

"What's going on?" asked Searcher once the man reached him.

"Your son sent… an urgent message for you… to meet him at the drop zone," said the man who was out of breath and bent over after stopping.

"What did he discover this time?" asked Searcher.
