"Whoa, this place is more untamed than we had thought," said Jess as the ship came out of a hole into a large forest that was covered in vegetation everywhere.
"Maybe no one lives here," said Searcher.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that," said Jaeger while pointing out a small village covered by the forest in the distance.
"Hover over the area, we'll go down on a rope to check the place out," said Ethan to his mom.
"You got it," said Meridian. Once in the village, the group discovered that it was in ruins with some buildings having collapsed.
"Safe to say no one has been here in a long time," said Ethan.
"Again that is not the case, look here," said Jaeger who found a smoldering fire pit that had some smoke coming off it.
"This just went out," he said.
"Who are you and where did you come from?!" came a voice out of nowhere.
"We came from another island to see if anyone was here," said Ethan.
"My name is Ethan, these are my father Searcher and grandfather Jaeger," he said.
"Did your island survive?" asked the voice.
"If you mean the Pando Plants that were killing it then we managed to destroy all of them and the island is fine," said Searcher.
"My people called them Death Grapes," said the voice before a masked figure came out of the ruins of one of the buildings
"You… you're just a kid," said a stunned Jaeger as the figure removed his mask to reveal a fifteen-year-old boy.
"Everyone here is, there is no one over eighteen in this whole village," said the boy while several others came out from their hiding spots surprising the team even more at seeing them.
