IT WILL BE PERCABETH THIS IS A PERCABETH STORY

Chapter 1-Annabeth

Annabeth Chase stood at the edge of Camp Half-Blood, her heart racing with anxiety. The sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows across the familiar grounds, but everything felt different. After the fight with Percy, a cold dread settled in her stomach. What if he had left because of her?

"Percy!" she called out, her voice breaking slightly as it echoed into the stillness. No answer. Just the rustling of leaves in the evening breeze.

Memories of their argument flooded her mind. The way she had lashed out, bringing up up bianca's death and Luke's sacrifice why did she do that she knew it would hurt him but she was so angry

With every passing minute, her anxiety deepened. The thought that he might think she didn't care gnawed at her. What if he believed she wanted him gone? What if he decided that "this is over" meant more than just their argument?

"Think, Annabeth," she muttered to herself, pacing. "He wouldn't just leave." But the more she thought about it, the more uncertain she became. She stepped outside her cabin, glancing around the camp as if expecting him to appear at any moment.

"Where are you, Percy?" she whispered, her voice heavy with desperation. She walked towards the training arena, hoping to find him in one of his favourite spots, but it was empty. Maybe he needed space. Maybe he was just angry. But what if he was hurt, or worse, because of her?

Her heart sank further as she approached the archery range. Memories of their past adventures swirled in her mind—every battle they fought side by side, every moment they shared. How could she let one argument threaten everything?

"Percy!" she shouted again, louder this time. "I'm sorry! Please come back!" But her voice only echoed back at her, and the silence felt like a cruel reminder of what she had done.

Grover appeared in the distance, concern etched on his face. "Annabeth, what's going on? Have you seen Percy?"

"No," she replied, the weight of panic pressing down on her. "He's missing. I think he might have left because of me."

"Left? Why would he do that?" Grover looked genuinely puzzled, his brow furrowing.

"I told him he couldn't save Bianca or Luke!" Her voice shook as she spoke, the guilt spilling out. Grover's eyes open in shock "Grover. I don't know if he thinks I don't care anymore or if he's really done with me."

"Annabeth, don't say that," Grover said gently. "Percy knows you care about him. You've always been there for each other. Maybe he just needs time to cool off."

"Time?" she echoed, her heart racing. "What if he's out there, feeling abandoned? What if he thinks it's really over?" The thought made her chest tighten.

"Let's look for him together," Grover suggested. "He wouldn't just leave without a word. He must be around here somewhere."

With newfound determination, Annabeth nodded. "Right. We'll find him." They began searching the camp more thoroughly, checking every cabin, training area, and hidden nook they could think of.

As they neared the woods, Annabeth spotted something glinting on the ground. Riptide. Her heart dropped. "Grover, look!" She knelt to pick it up, her breath hitching.

"Annabeth, this isn't good," Grover said, his voice low. "Percy wouldn't just drop his sword."

"What if something happened to him?" Annabeth said, her voice shaking.

"Let's not assume the worst," Grover urged. "We need to keep searching. Chiron will know what to do."

As they hurried back to camp, Annabeth's mind was a whirlwind of fear and regret. If he was out there, feeling lost because of her, she would do everything in her power to bring him back. The camp felt empty without him, and she couldn't shake the feeling that she had lost something precious.

But she wouldn't give up. They would solve this puzzle, just like they always did. And she would make things right with Percy, no matter what it took

just a warning the next chapter has a lot if annabeth being jealous of rachel
