Chapter 3 Meet Mr. Yamashita Kazuo

Izuku was gasping as Ohma sat in silence. Right now, they were sitting in a limousine with one of the richest men in Japan; they were passing so many important buildings. That Izuku would only see them when on trips.

"Ohma, can you believe this is awesome," Izuku marveled from the car. Ohma had his arms crossed and was unimpressed.

"It's just cars and buildings," Ohma said, unimpressed. Izuku looked back at the man with a befuddled expression.

"Ohma, don't try to downplay this, it's amazing," Izuku said in wonder. Nogi took a deep puff from his Montecristo cigar.

"So do you mind me asking what is your relation to this gentleman, here, young man," Nogi asked. Izuku froze at the question of what was Ohma. A friend, an ally, or a teacher. Izuku knew the truth and didn't want to lie or scrutinize the truth.

"Well, sir, Ohma and I, our opponents, were currently in a fight, and… I refuse to accept defeat, so I'm going to keep fighting him until I beat him, and he'll teach me his techniques," Izuku said honestly, trying not to be rude. Nogi nodded and took another puff of his cigar.

"It sounds like a painful endeavor you suffer, Ohma. Should I get your enemy out of this car? It would probably be better for you. Wouldn't it," Nogi said with a cold face. Izuku gasped at the man's words.

"So cold!" Izuku thought. Ohma smirked while crossing his arms.

"It's fine, Izukumidoriya is my opponent. If he causes any trouble, I'll take care of it," Ohma said with a smirk. Novi nodded, knowing the old saying. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Izuku did feel an awkward bead of sweat, never in his life did he feel to be a threat to anyone.

"So, what is this tournament you keep talking about?" Izuku asked. Nogi glanced at the boy and answered lazily.

"I'll explain everything once we head back to my office,"

Izuku and Ohma had followed Nogi into a very tall building. Izuku kept nervously looking around, unsure what was happening. They took the elevator and ascended to the top floor. Ohma let out a big sigh and looked at Izuku.

"Would you calm down, nothing is going to happen to us, if this guy wanted us dead, we would know by now," Ohma said. Izuku froze at the comment and cringed a little.

"Sorry, I did just kinda follow you. Sorry, I might be a little nervous," Izuku admitted. Ohma slightly huffed and put his hands in his pocket.

"Relax," Ohma said. Izuku nodded as they waited patiently until they reached the twentieth floor. The three of them walked into a luxury office. Mr. Nogi had walked into the offices.

He took a seat at his desk, next to him was a woman wearing a red formal business dress. She had long blonde hair tied in a neat bun. Her red-framed glasses hung from the bridge of her nose. Matching her blues.

Nogi gestured to the two red couches in the room. Izuku gave me a hint and sat down. Ohma took a sigh and glanced at the door.

"Where is the bathroom?"

"To your right, you can't miss it," Nogi said.

Ohma left the room not before glancing at Izuku, making the young teen flinch.

"Stay out of trouble," Ohma calmly said. Izuku felt a bead of an awkward sweat trip from his forehead. This was looking to be a long day. Ohma closed the door, Izuku then took a big sigh and flinched in pain. Holding the spot where Ohma had struck his body.

The woman looked worried. Nogi glanced at his assistant with a stern look.

"Akiyama, please bring our guests some ice," Nogi ordered. She nodded and opened a fridge on the far right side of the room. Making an eye bag, the lady then walked over to Izuku and passed it to him.

Izuku gratefully accepted. Then, politely bowed his head.

"Thank you,"

Akiyama smiled and appreciated the young boy's politeness. She returned to Mr. Nogi's side, who was still smoking his cigar. He gently set it on a black ashtray and glanced at the boy.

"Why did you do that, why fight him?" Nogi asked. Izuku gently put the eye to his sternum and let out a tired sigh.

"To be honest, I was hoping he forgot about me. I met him yesterday. You were talking about that fighter that Ohma took down well, after the fight, he looked at me and another guy there. Asking if we wanted to fight…" Izuku said, then he looked at Nogi with no regret in his eyes.

"I said yes, but Ohma said he was tired, after that, I thought I would never see him again. Turns out he swiped my wallet off me without me realizing," Izuku said with a goofy smile. Nogi studied the boy and put his elbows on his desk as he held his hands.

"Why didn't you call for a hero after that, weren't you scared?" Nogi asked. Izuku paused and looked at the floor.

"I was a little bit… after the fight, I couldn't help but think about how amazing it was. I wasn't watching two people fight with their quirks but using everything they had. When he asked if I wanted to fight, it felt like he was looking at me like an equal and that I could challenge him and overcome him, so how could I even turn down an opportunity like that," Izuku said, then he glanced at Nogi seeing he was still looking at Izuku.

"You're quirkless," Nogi asked, which made Izuku shrink in shame at the word.

"Yes, I am," Izuku answered. Nogi nodded and took a puff of his cigar. He spun his chair around and looked out the window.

"Izuku, most people in this society now don't reach out of their comfort zone. They feel safe while heroes fly through the sky. They don't have to worry about endeavors or problems. Because they have a genetic power to make them feel superior. Many people in this world are not born equal, yet we still call this an era of peace, I think it is an era of false hopes. So many put aside their difficult problems and throw it all to heroes. We might feel safe, but we don't make ourselves better during these times, we only meet the status quo. Barely feels like anyone ever tries to achieve something more,"

Izuku was stunned at the man's words, they were harsh but held some form of truth. That young fanboy fanatic could not argue against it. Nogi turned back to face Izuku and smiled at him with that businessman smirk.

"Izuku, out of all of the choices you possibly could've made. You chose the best decision, to fight and stand," Nogi said. Izuku gulped nervously when one of the most powerful men in this country complimented him on a decision he thought was entirely foolish.

"You have to strive for the impossible that makes you human, with people with quirks nowadays, it feels like you don't see that that often," Nogi said. Izuku felt an odd feeling with himself that the emotion that stirred within him was pride.

Pride, knowing that others were respecting his choices and not mocking them. Izuku then politely bowed to the man. Even if his stomach was in pain, he would show his respect.

"Thank you, sir, I appreciate your words," Izuku said, then looked back at him.

"Can I ask you a question?" Izuku wanted to know why Ohma was here and what this Kegan tournament was. Nogi took a drag of his cigar and puffed a cloud onto his desk.

"I'll explain right now. Ohma needs a caretaker for the fight coming up. You and him will both be informed of what's going on," Nogi said. Izuku nodded and waited in the room. Wondering who this caretaker was, was it some big, powerful man, some strategic professional fighter? Who could they be? That is what was on Izuku's mind. The door to the room opened to reveal a very familiar face.

Izuku looked at the man with utter shock. "It's you"

Yamashita glanced at the young boy, Knowing fully well who he was. Reminiscing on the battle that he watched last night. Forgetting that there was another spectator with them.

"Oh my goodness, what are you doing here?" Yamashita asked, then he quickly walked to the boy and apologetically bowed to him.

"I'm so sorry that I abandoned you that night. I was worried about my safety. I just cowered away," Yanashita apologized. Izuku was more understanding of what happened.

Then he apologetically bowed to him. He could see how stressed the man was and felt horrible he made him feel that way.

"No sir, please, it's my fault. I challenged him to a fight. I was acting foolish," Izuku said. Yamashita gritted his teeth and his fist, feeling ashamed that this youth had to apologize for his mistake.

"If I didn't go into that alleyway to watch that fight, you wouldn't have followed me. Your elders should set a better example for the youth," Yamashita countered. Izuku was deeply moved by the apology. However, he had one already prepared.

"It was my foolish choice not to go get the police or a hero involved. I thought I could help you all by myself, sorry that I didn't,"

"That's utter nonsense. I still abandoned you against that man. Please accept my apology!" Yamashita cried. Izuku gripped his fist and brought his head lower.

"Only if you accept my sir!"

"Young man, Please call me Mr. Yamashita. I'm the irresponsible one!"

"Dang it, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm sorry I'm being so rude. My name is Izuku Midoriya,"

"Please tell me if you're alright, young man. I noticed you have some ice on your stomach. Do you need any medical attention?" He asked.

"No, I'm perfectly fine, were you able to get home safely?"

"Why yes, I was! But what about you?!"

The two quickly went back and forth about who was more sorry about their actions. Nogi and Akiyama watched, unsure what was happening here.

"I think they're trying to out-apologize the other," Akiyama said, adjusting her glasses, making sure she wasn't seeing things. Nogi had a look after years of watching illegal fights, seeing blood and death. He didn't know how to react to this.

"It's like watching two pillows fight," Nogi said. The man quickly wanted to get down to business and clear his throat, a little loud, gaining the two's attention. Izuku and Yamashita both glanced at each other and realized they were wasting time.

"We're sorry, sir!" Both said in unison. Making the two look at each other in embarrassment. Nogi let out a stiff laugh.

"Well, I'm glad you could make Mr. Yamashita, and I can see you're well acquainted with Izuku," Nogi added.

"Yes, uh... Well, we only met yesterday," Yamashita said awkwardly. Nogi glanced at the poor salesman. Izuku took a closer look at the gentleman next to him and could see he was shaking in fear.

"Does he have a cold or something?"

"I'm sorry for interrupting your busy schedule, and I do apologize for interrupting your fight Izuku,"

"No, it's perfectly… Fine… Really," Yamashita said nervously like he was about to break into a million pieces.

"The CEO personally requested to see an employee in a dead-end job at his subsidiary. Not to mention, he brought this child who I saw last night, and from the looks of it, he got in quite a tussle," Yamashita thought. Nogi then had a stern front, looking at both of them.

"Conlift!" He said firmly. "What do you think? The best method to resolve "conflict" is?

Yamashita didn't know how to answer the question. Izuku thought he might give it a shot.

"Well, conflict can be solved by understanding the other person and negotiating with them," Izuku said. Nogi glanced at the young man and simply shook his head.

"That's one way of suggesting the same answer, to put it very simply, there are countless methods: arbitration, negotiation, and persuasion. But what's particularly effective is violence." Nogi said, with a commanding voice, that the two stood up straight.

"But you can solve everything with violence, that leads to no peace," Izuku said, thinking he was right, so why didn't he feel like he wasn't?

"Yeah, violence will only hurt people," Yamashita agreed.

"Izuku, this is the truth. You're going to have to understand there will never be peace. Even the symbol of peace, All Might, uses violence to achieve his goal," Nogi said, pulling his cigar from the ashtray. Izuku didn't like those words and wanted to denounce this claim.

"All Might doesn't just punch the bad guy. He helps everyday people…. even if they don't want it," Izuku said sadly, remembering the day he was told the truth.

"Tell me Izuku? how does All Might hold the peace, he uses violence to stop criminals. He uses his actions to stop those who would hurt others. It's because he is the strongest that there is peace. The truth is, would anyone respect All Might if he didn't have the power? Would they follow the man who just saved people with nothing? Tell me, what people know about All Might the most, is his winning smile and his great attitude. I would say it's all a ploy to cover up the fact that he is a powerhouse. That follows the rules by that logic, everyone else has to," Nogi said, the fragile truth that Izuku would never hear. Izuku didn't argue with the man because he had a point. This was a superhuman society. A society that valued the strong over the weak. Yamashita was surprised by that fact as well. He couldn't argue against it.

"It's nothing that ought to surprise you both. You suppress your opposing force with violence that overwhelms them. It's an incredibly simple line of reasoning… and of course, the Nogi group has hardly been an exception," Nogi took a big puff of smoke as he stared out the window.

"This all goes back four hundred years. It was Shotoku. The nation was at peace, but in its dark recesses, there was a careless, bloody conflict between the merchants what they desired. The status of the Shogunate Purveyor. It was the highest rank among all merchant purveyors. They possess the greatest privileges, including a monopoly on Purveyor goods to the Shogunate in every industry, even mining. In other words, it was a position in which all merchants were foaming at their mouths to obtain, and they would obtain it by any means necessary," Nogi then looked back at the two, seeing the awe at this ancient history.

"Intimidation, conspiracy, even assassinations. They used every means they had to get rid of the competition. This conflict gave rise to new grudges, and a spiral of hatred rose from it. Eventually, not even the merchants themselves could control the ever-expanding cycle of violence, and the world was becoming a constant battlefield"

"Then that didn't solve the conflict at all," Yamashita thought.

"How couldn't they see that they were taking so many innocent lives just for profit? There were no laws against this, but these were the top merchants of the country. Nobody could stop them. They had all the money and resources," Izuku thought. Nogi agreeingly shook his head at the two of them.

"That's a great observation from both of you,"

Izuku and Yamashita gawked in embarrassment.

"It's true violence can be an effective safeguard, but that is only when it is regulated violence. Anarchy violence does not bring anything but tyranny." Nogi said, tapping his cigar in the ashtray.

"So the times were calling for a chain to control the spear. But it was not the merchants that brought that chain. He was the seventh shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate. He was only five years old when he was leading; his name was Tokugawa Ietsugu,"

Izuku gawked at the man's story of a five-year-old who had ended such a bloody conflict, how?

"Letesugu summoned the merchants that were at the heart of this quarrel and gave them an order. If you wish to settle this conflict, then battle it out fair and square. It was truly a childlike wish, a simple and candid proposal, but not a single one of them had ever reached that simple conclusion on their own. Overwhelmed by the merciful grace of the young Shogun, they felt ashamed of their shortcomings. The merchants formed the guild. If there was a conflict of interest, they would establish a venue for competitions through the guild. The results of the competition were indisputable, and any other conflict was strictly forbidden. The method of that competition was incredibly simple. It was a one-on-one fistfight. Overwhelming primordial, violent, confident fighters hired by each side would settle their differences in the merchant's place. Violence was sublimated into martial arts. These battles were held under the guild membership supervision until one side fell…"

Izuku and Yamashita stood petrified at the story. What did it all mean?

"Some of my ancestors were members of that guild you could very well say that it was their efforts that allowed the Nogi corporation to expand to where it is today,"

"I don't know what he's trying to say. Edo period? Guild? Fighting? What is he talking about?"

"I see that's very informative…" Yamashita said in an unsure tone of voice. Izuku froze in place at the statement that he heard if this story was true, then that meant that they were still hosting tournaments for important business deals.

"Mr. Yamashita, do you know why I'm telling you this,"

Yamashita calmly shook his head, not understanding what was going on. Nogi then calmly said his next words carefully.

"This isn't just an old folk story. It's a traditional method of competition that is still being passed down by merchants to this day,"

Yamashita was shocked and was quickly sweating a storm.

"No, no, you don't need to joke with me," Yamashita said in a worried voice.

"Mr. Yamashita," Izuku said, making the older man look at Izuku. To his utter shock, Izuku was standing frightfully at Nogi's words.

"I don't think he's joking," Izuku said with a pale face. Yamashita was internally screaming at this very moment.

"He doesn't seem to be joking; this can't be true!"

"Even after the Tokugawa Shogunate fell, the merchants continued this method of competition unbroken. To settle their conflicts, they would trust their desires to the fists of the fighters, The Kengan Matches. There are other torments like the underground and the official World Fighting Tournaments but those pale in size to the Kengan matches,"

Izuku wanted to fall to his knees right now, years of politics and business history that went before the appearance of quirks themselves. They had settled millions worth of dollars and jobs on fighting tournaments. This was something bigger than heroes. This was a secret organization of competitions, deciding the fate of businesses. Izuku was smack dab in the middle of it.

Yamashita, unaware of how to process this groundbreaking revelation, could only stare at the CEO. He never thought his day would turn out like this. His Bosch chewed him out earlier, only to be brought up to the very top. Things weren't certainly going his way.

"To tell the truth, our company is scheduled for a match soon, with a certain right at stake, but we've run into a problem. The man we had hired suddenly became unable to fight in the match due to personal reasons, so we had to look for a replacement fighter on short notice…"

Yamashita, past certain individuals in this room, had gathered, realizing that there was only one possible reason.

"You don't mean… you want Izuku to fight?"

Nogi, for the first time, his cold businessman front was moved to a more surprised expression. Nogi jokingly smiled at the two. Izuku let out a tired sigh.

"Well, that's not a bad idea, you as the caretaker to this young fighter, but unfortunately, I don't think that will be necessary,"

Yamashita sighed in relief. Izuku weirdly was complemented by the suggestion of him fighting in the tournament.

"While we were looking for a new fighter, I was able to find the next best option, so we decided to let him handle the match," Nogi said proudly. The door to the room slowly opened, and Yamashita glanced behind him. The man's jaw was on the floor, and he let out a surprised yelp.

"WHAT!"

Ohma smirked, glancing at the man.

"Huh? aren't you that guy? Hey Izuku, that's the guy from the other night, isn't it?"

Izuku calmly nodded.

"Yes, it's him. Please try not to scare him this time," Izuku begged. However, it appeared that the option had left the building and taken the next flight to Malaysia. Nogi smiled, seeing that his new fighter was more than happy.

"Yamashitakazuo, Right?" Ohma said, using his quirky nickname shenanigans. Yamashita was petrified with fear.

"Nice to see you again," He said in a shaky voice. Nogi smiled, seeing that this was all going to plan.

"I was already informed that you three are well-acquainted, Yamashita Kazuo, I'm appointing you as Tokita's manager. Tokita, just let him know if you need anything," Nogi said with a smile. Ohma walked over to Yamashita and patted his shoulder. Izuku felt a little bad, seeing that it was clear as day that Mr. Yamashita was being pushed to this.

"Thanks," Ohma said, clearly not seeing the terror in Yamashita's eyes.

"Before we wrap this up, I'd like to make an offer to Izuku," Nogi said, looking at Izuku with a stone-cold gaze. The young boy wondered what this man was going to offer him, was he going to threaten him now that he knew that there was a secret organization fighting to decide the economy?

"Yes sir," He said respectfully.

"I know you don't work for me, but can I ask you for a small favor? Would you please keep an eye on Ohma Tokita, I won't pay you. I just need a friendly eye so nothing bad happens to my fighter, think you can handle that," Nogi asked. Izuku didn't know what to say, but deep down inside, it would be given another chance to fight him and become stronger.

"Of course, I'll do it," Izuku said without hesitation. Ohma smiled at the deal, seeing he was going to be spending some time with people he enjoys.

"Good boy, I owe you a favor, oh, and you're dismissed from work for the rest of the day, Yamashita. You can go ahead and start hammering things out with Tokita. I'll fill you in on the details later," Nogi said. The three left the room, going to whom to who knows where. Leaving Nogi alone, Akiyama looked at her boss with a concerned look.

There was silence in the room until she broke it.

"Are you sure about this? Can we trust him? The man who defeated Komada, The Deva Ming was…" Akiyama was cut off by her boss.

"Most likely Ohma. I know. That's why I hired him," Nogi said with a smile. He then looked at the stiff Akiyama.

"You think there are many people in the world that could've beaten the Komada? hell, it would take at least a group of pro heroes to take him down, Tokita Ohma… he's a good find,"

Akiyama still wasn't sure about the people in charge of the company's future.

"What about him? Yamashita Kazuo. Why did you reveal the existence of the Kengan Matches to a mere employee of a subsidiary? I'm sure others would be more qualified," Akiyama pointed out.

"Haha. Now, don't get your panties in a bunch. I may have hired Tokita Ohma, but that's not to say that I trust him. So I've given him someone to be a manager and an overseer for him, that's all there is to it," Nogi said, confident in his decision. Akiyama still had one more grip to cover.

"And Izuku?" She asked. Nogi dropped his smile and a pondering look on his face.

"That boy… he's different," Nogi said, leaning back in his chair and looking upward at the ceiling. Akiyama raised an eyebrow at the CEO, not understanding what he meant.

"That boy was quirkless and looked like he could barely stand up, why allow him to know about the Kegan matches?" She asked. Nogi smiled, remembering how he tracked Ohma down only to find a spectacular battle. Even if Izuku had lost in a matter of seconds, it was still entertaining to watch.

"When Izuku was challenged by someone superior, he didn't run. He didn't go to the phone and call a hero to solve his problems, which is what anyone would do nowadays. Instead, Izuku chose to stay his ground and accept the challenge that was laid in front of him, even when his actions had caught up to him, he still faced them head-on. Tell me, Ms. Akiyama, what would you call a man just based on that action alone,"

Akiyama adjusted her glasses and looked at the spot where Izuku sat. "A fool…"

Nogi smiled and let out a low chuckle.

"Yes, it is foolish, but what I saw was a man seizing at once in a lifetime opportunity. To take a step to live. They're an old saying: "You hunt the weak to survive, you hunt the strong to be alive," Nogi said with a strong front.

"I went out looking for one fighter for us, and I ended up finding two," Nogi said then he began to think about the two fighters.

"Tokita Ohma and Izuku Midoriya, I'm going to find out what just kind of men you are,"

Yamashita and Izuku were following Ohma. One was afraid that he would stop following Ohma, while the other was more lost in his thoughts.

Izuku looked at Ohma, seeing how completely calm he was. All of this groundbreaking information, and he was just so calm.

"Ohma, aren't you worried about what you heard," Izuku asked.

"And what should I be worried about?" Ohma said. Izuku had a stunned expression.

"That we found out about how business is done in this country!" Izuku cried in a panic. Ohma gave it a brief thought and shrugged his shoulders.

"This is just how I expect business to go. It seems fair and square. Besides, you've been living fine without knowing about it, so what does it change?" Ohma said in such a simplistic manner that his point was more than an answer. Izuku nervously fished it with his fingers, but it was still nerve-racking to think about it. The Kegan matches sounded illegal.

"HEY WAIT!" Yamashita yelled out to the two. The man was clearly out of breath and was trying to catch up. Ohma spun around, looking at the exhausted businessman.

"Something wrong Yamashitakauso?" Ohma asked. Izuku thought that maybe Ohma just didn't know how to pronounce people's names separately. Even Yamashita was thinking about it, but he spoke with a deep gasp for air.

"Tokita… I think…. You should decline the offer…Fighting is still a crime, and young Izuku shouldn't even be involved in such things. I don't know what the hell the CEO is…"

Yamashita was briefly cut off by Ohma. Izuku could feel the intensity in the air and felt a chill run down his spine.

"Let's just get some food,"

Both of them looked at Ohma with a fake smile. The instant this man ordered such an innocent and everyday phrase became an overwhelming force that could not be denied. Reconsidering doesn't even exist as an option for the man named Ohma Tokita. Izuku almost envies the power to speak, and people would listen. This was the power of quirk but from a man who has fought for every single day of his life.

Izuku felt that all modern manners had gone through the window, and he was sent back in time to when the strong ruled and could say anything. Ohma began to walk away from the two.

"C'mon, let's go, you're going to cover our expenses, right?" Ohma said, heading to a big restaurant. Yamashita had a panicked face and looked at the man.

"Ah, Ohma, don't order anything too expensive!" Yamashita cried. Izuku watched the duo and let out a sigh. He turned his back away from them and began to walk.

"This isn't very hero-like, I guess this is, this is where we part ways. It was fun, but maybe I should go back to reality. Besides, my stomach's killing me," Izuku thought sadly, even though he was shrugging off the pain.

"Hey, Izukumidoriya, where do you think you're going?" Ohma asked. Making Izuku spin around to face Ohma.

"I thought I would leave; it seems like you have plenty on your plate already, you don't need a useless kid like me, right?" Izuku humbly said. Ohma then towered over Izuku, looking coldly at him.

The young, quirkless kid wasn't afraid instead, he gripped his fist, getting ready for an attack. Yamashita wanted to cry out for this to stop but was terrified of angering Ohma. The two stared down at each other, waiting for the other to move.

"Are you going to be standing around all day, or are you going to attack me?" Izuku asked. Ohma smirked at his answer.

"I can fight the Kengan matches and you at the same time. Come, at least eat before you go. Not to mention, you made a promise to Mr. Nogi about watching me, and you wouldn't wanna go back on your word, would you?" Ohma said. Then, getting into his face.

"We also still have to fight, so are you that strong kid or a chickenshit,"

Izuku realized that he did give his word. Looking at the situation now, there is no fighting. There is only one option: get stronger and live. Izuku looked back at Ohma and let out a reluctant sigh.

"Alright, let's go," Izuku said. Ohma nodded and began to lead the way. Izuku walked by Yamashita, who stared in amazement at the boy.

"This kid is insane, surely someone like him would be at one of those pro-heroes schools! You know, he kinda oddly reminds me of my two children when they were younger, full of life and excitement," Yamashita thought. Then he quickly reminded himself that they were going to a very expensive restaurant, and Ohma looked like a big eater.

"Ah, Tokita! Don't order anything too expensive," Yamashita panicked. Izuku looked at the man with a humble expression.

"Of course, I won't order anything expensive from the restaurant, sir!" Izuku said.

"It's not you I'm worried about, it's Ohma. Hey, aren't you listening to me? Ohma!" Yamashita cried, chasing after Ohma.

Notes: Hey, I hope you enjoyed this Chapter, Showing just how deep the Kengan world works.
