This was inspired by the scene at the end of the episode where Iruma reveals himself to Ballam Shichiro (Season 2, episode 10). Ballum getting over his worries about touching Iruma and hurting him took a couple days to get over and who knows how many times Iruma continued visiting him afterward.

Cuddles

"It's not fair!" Clara declared angrily. "First he took time with Lady Red Head, now he's going somewhere else without telling us!"

"What Iruma-sama does with his time is his business!" Alice argued aloud, when really, he wanted to know, too. What was so important that he didn't want to be with them, instead.

The girl started digging into her pocket as it glowed and pulled out a very familiar pair of ridiculous glasses.

"You can't do that. You'll get banned from the store again!"

"This is an emergency, though! We have to find out what Iruma-chi is up to."

Alice watched as she slipped her pair on. "I suppose there's nothing I could do to convince you not to do this." He already knew his answer and secretly looked forward to hearing it.

"No!"

"Well," Alice said, holding out his hand, "I can't let you go off on your own. I'll come along to keep you out of trouble." And get to see what Iruma-sama is up to.

The girl smiled and reached into her pocket, pulling out… nope, not happening. "Those aren't the ones I wore."

Clara smiled and said, "I like mine more."

"You're not going to make the other one for me, are you?" Alice also knew the answer to that question but wasn't nearly as excited for it.

After tracking Iruma-sama unnoticed, they eventually found themselves at the entrance of Shichiro-Sensei's Lab. They carefully doubled back and crept over to the window from outside. They remaining close to the ground, as if the glasses wouldn't serve as enough protection. It may have been an unnecessary extra measure but they had both heard the stories about the type of things Shichiro-Sensei might do to students if he caught them. Both hesitated, terrified at what they might see. "Do you think he volunteered as an experiment to save a classmate? "Clara asked.

"It seems like something Iruma-Sama would do," Alice admitted.

Cautiously, they both looked over the windowsill and were shocked by what they saw.

So shocked was Alice that he failed to watch for Clara's reaction until she was slamming a giant mallet through the window. "How dare you steal Iruma cuddling time from us!?"

Alice slid in and scooped up Clara before she could proceed further in her fury but deep down, he felt betrayed. Before Clara had broken in, Iruma-sama had been sitting in Shichiro's talking with the larger white haired demon as he held and pet the smaller.

But Alice was bigger than acting hurt over such things…he was, really. So instead, he declared, "this is how you spend your time when you still need to study for the exam?"

"Actually," Iruma-sama said, picking up a book that Alice previously hadn't noticed in his lap, "Shichiro Sensei has been helping me study, too."

"Oh," Alice replied, shocked to have his argument so easily deflected.

"But," Iruma continued, "if you really want to cuddle, too, I'm sure Shichiro-Sensei wouldn't mind." He glanced up at the teacher, who up until now, had been watching silently, "would you?"

"Not at all," the teacher said, spreading his arms wide.

Alice was caught off guard when Clara grabbed his arm and pulled him along as she launched herself toward what would soon be a dog pile on Shichiro's lap.

What none of them could see was what was happening just outside the door to the lab.

For the last few days, Kalego had been worried because Ballum's behavior had been unusual. He hadn't been acting like his normal self. In the last few weeks, the others talk about imaginary creatures, while not disappearing entirely, had been reduced compared to what he usually did. Furthermore, he'd expected far more complaints about the demon cuddling students.

So, Kalego had made his way to the other demon's lab. He had just been about to knock on the door when he heard Valec crash through the window and accuse Ballum of 'stealing' cuddle time with Iruma.

And in those words, it became perfectly clear why Ballum hadn't been as active in either his enthusiasm about mythical creatures or grabbing up students left and right to pet. Iruma was willingly providing an outlet for both.

Kalego still considered walking in until Iruma and Ballum invited the other two students to join the huddle.

Yeah, there was no way Kalego was risking getting pulled into that. He'd already solved the mystery of his old classmate's behavior. Now, having done so unnoticed, he was going to make his get away.

So, originally, I thought of having a moment here where because Shichiro was not talking about mythical creatures or cuddling people as much as usual, Kalego went to check in on him and would find the other demon cuddling with Iruma.

Then I recalled how territorial Azz and Clara were when Iruma started his reading sessions with Ameri and realized that I wanted to write them reacting to Iruma sharing his attention with a teacher in such a way.
