Chapter 3: Rescue from The Arcane King Carrier (And anime)

It was a later hour past midnight. Morning was on the brink of showering us with it's light. Tori and I were in deep sleep with me being held in her arms while I was turned from her. It was really peaceful at this time. However, there was something in my spirit trying to tell me that something is amiss, and could potentially disturb this peace. I ignored it. Tori was so warm...I really dont wanna break free from her. Then I heard footsteps. Two sets of them even. Both very light and faint. I ignored these too. Im sure that Tori can take care of whatever comes to us and would break through that door. Makes me wonder...Could I become as strong as Tori?

"[?] Hey there."

"! Who's there?!"

"[?] Do you mind keeping it down? I wont hurt you."

"You wont?..But who are you?"

"[?] My name is Scyhlla. Im a Star Angel. ^^ *gives me the platinum staff* I believe this is your's."

"*grabs it* Thank you. Uh..A...Star Angel? Is that a good thing?"

"[Scyhlla] Of course it is. You've never heard of us before?"

"Nope. First time."

"[Scyhlla] *giggles* It's like we're destined to meet then. ^^"

"Hmm? What do you mean by that?"

"[Toriel] *wake up and yawns* mmmnhh...child..are you awake? *looks at the little girl in front of me* Oh? Is this a friend of your's?"

"I guess? She said she wont hurt me. Anyone that says that has to be a good person, right?"

"[Scyhlla] *giggles* Yes. I am one of those good people like that. ouo"

"[Toriel] My, it's like I am seeing double right now. What are you, child? That is a cute mage outfit you have on."

"[Scyhlla] My name is Scyhlla, miss. Im a Star Angel. We must be even more rare than I thought. You seem really knowledgable."

"[Toriel] Oh but I am, dear. A day doesnt go by that my face isnt buried in a book. I do..Often drift asleep but still. You are correct in thinking I am studious, believe me ^^;. I wish I knew what your kind are all about."

"[Scyhlla] I wish I did too."

"[Toriel] Pardon?"

"[Scyhlla] Miss, I have been looking all over to see who would know more about what I am. I only know about what Im called but nothing else beyond that."

"Really? Huh. I guess we are pretty alike. Only that I know even less than that about myself ^^."

"[Toriel] Oh my. That simply will not do. It looks like we will have to add this to our to-do list, my child. Allow us to help you, little girl."

"[Scyhlla] I would be glad to! ouo Allow me to properly thank you, miss. You are quite pleasant to be around. What is your name?"

"[Toriel] Why, same to you, little one. Call me Toriel. I am the Queen of monsters. Given my..Docile nature, you probably wouldnt have guessed. ^w^;"

"[Scyhlla] You're lovely, Toriel. I wish more monsters were more like you."

"[Toriel] And I wish more young ones were like you as well. UwU"

"(Wow, these two are getting along really well. It took no time too. If she can come with us, along with Roxy, it'll be the best adventure ever! ^o^)"

"[Scyhlla] I see you two are without any clothes. May I gather some before we leave?"

"[Toriel] ! No no no, we'll get dressed on our own. Just wait outside for us, please? ^/^"

"[Scyhlla] *nods* Then I will wait outside then. I will stand there until you two are ready. (◕▿◕✿)"

"*sees her open the door and leave, with Frisk watching her as well* Oh yeah, he must've let her in. She must really be a good person if he let her like that, right? o uo"

"[Toriel] Oh Frisk, why aren't you in bed? You can be a handful at times. Umm, please close the door for us. *sees him close the door* Much better. Shall we get dressed, my child?"

"Before we do, are you sure Star Angel doesnt sound familiar? I'd figure it'd be at least a bit known."

"[Toriel] The only thing Star-related I can think of are the stars themselves. Angels and stars do come from high above, but it's quite silly to think that she'd crash down, dont you think?"

"Heheh, it does sound a bit funny. ^^"

"[Toriel] Other than that, I have heard of Star Mages, who dont seem to be around anymore. Perhaps she's a type of mage too, Im not sure. She does possess a plethora of mana however."

"Plethora? Is that a spell?"

"[Toriel] *giggles* No, child. That means she has an incredible amount ^w^. She may be a sort of mage after all."

"Hmm. She could be more helpful than anyone I know combined then. I dont think she'd hurt a fly. She looks like she's too nice for that."

"[Toriel] Perhaps, my child, but let's wonder about this later. We should get our clothes now. Dont want any guests barging in on us. w"

"Heheheh, yeah dont want that. They might say something about how big you are, Tori."

"[Toriel] A-am I really that big? o/o;"

"It's ok, Tori. I love the way you are. Even your big stomach. ouo"

"[Toriel] Oh d-do you now? *giggles* At least you're the only one to appreciate this big size of mine. Now enough flattery, let's not keep the girl waiting /w/" she said before putting me down, off the bed and left me to gathering our clothes. When we did, we went outside, with Schylla contently waiting for us with her pure smile. Her warmness seems to just rub off on us. If we happen to encounter any threatening monsters, I think she'll do plenty in calming them down ^u^. "Oh dear! How can I forget?" Toriel suddenly said, "What's the matter, Tori?" I asked, "Well..We cannt leave Frisk here at the house by himself. You never know when some rotten monster will try to trick him and bring out of his room. He may be brave and has a good head but..I guess that means I have to stay after all! ಡwಡ;;;;;;" she explained, "Where did this come from?" Scyhlla asked, "She gets anxious when thinking about going out of the house. She isnt used to dealing with people like that. Cant imagine why. Isnt it supposed to be peaceful anyway? Well let's not worry about it. But I know, Tori! Let's get Roxy to babysit! Im sure he'll have an eaay time! ^u^" I suggest, "Umm, possibly, but..He'll just have to keep a close eye on him. All the time. Frisk loves to wonder off. When he came back from his adventure some time ago, he came back with half the things I've read about ^^;" she also brought up, "Then let's have his sis help with babysitting him. Two of those are better than one, right? ouo" I suggested some more, "I-I suppose that'll do. If only I knew where he lived" Tori replied, "Not a problem. Here. One of you hold my hand" Scyhlla told us, "Like thi-" I was saying before being abruptly teleported by her along with Tori.

The next moment, the three of us foundd ourselves in Roxy's room. "Wow. You're amazing, Scyhlla. How'd you do it? ouo" I asked, "I can sense almost every monster down here at once. Then I was able to copy your magic to get us here" she explained, "You can do that?! You really are awesome! OuO" I gratified, "(My, she..Made it sound so simple. What is it that a Star Angel can do? They seem so capable so far)" Tori thought to herself, "HEEEEY! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING IN MY-! (Oops! That's right. My character!) *puts fingers to cheek while turned away and puts other hand on the other hip* I mean..How is it that you all made it inside?" Roxford asked with a (seemingly) much cooler head, "I was the one that was able to warp them here. I can sense really large sources of mana, so you and your sister were easy to find" Scyhlla told him, "(Why is it that just about everyone can warp all of a sudden?! It isnt supposed to be this easy yknow!) I see then. *stands much more upright* What business do you three have? \A/" he asked, "We need you to babysit a child that has been in my care. Along with your sister, that is. I have a sort of trip to take with the little ones here" Toriel explained to him, "B-babysit? Im a babysitter now?! With Siselle?!" he was complaining, "*drags him outside* You heard the queen, Rox. It's best not to argue about the decision. You two wont be gone long, will you?" she asked, "*sees them go out the door, waves* We promise. It wont be long. A whole day, at the most. Take care ^w^" Toriel farewelled to them, "That went smoother than I expected. Rox sure is silly, is he?" Scyhlla points out, "*giggles* Yeah maybe. Frisk might like that about him. Im sure they'll do well with taking care of him ^^. Alright. We can go to the CORE, Scyly. Let's see about warping there now" I replied and she did as such, wrapping us in a band of light and teleporting us to the destination.

Where we landed was a path with a lab behind us, and up ahead seems to be an even bigger lab area that can be seen in the distance. Im guessing that's the Core place that Crysie mentioned about? "*looks in the distance with me, and sees a bunch of twisted monsters roaming, with a big mutating monster at the entrance of the Core* (Goodness. The Amalgamates have been becoming unstable? What could've caused it?) *puts a hand on my shoulder* Um..Let's..Go to the lab over here. There's someone I want you to meet, my child. She should know alot about what's going on here" Toriel told me with a concerned look on her face, "O-ok, Tori. I have a bad feeling about that place up ahead" I replied, "(Strange. I could not warp there for some reason. Maybe this person Toriel knows could enlighten us)" Scyhlla thought before entering the lab's backdoor with us. When we entered, we saw a lone scalie girl in a lab coat wallowing to herself in the middle of the room. I guess this is her room, but why is she so sad? :c All she needs is someone to hear her out, right? That'd cheer up just about anyone.

"Hey there. We wanted to go to the Core, but-"

"[?] Dont...Please dont.."

"[Toriel] Alphys, what's happening down there? You look very distraut about it.."

"Alphys? That's her name?"

"[Alphys] She's gone..There's nothing we can do..."

"[Toriel] Who...You dont mean..o o;"

"[Alphys] Yes..Her...Undyne..She went and.."

"Un-who? Who's that, Tori?"

"[Toriel] *whispers* It's someone she holds dear, child."

"*whispers back* Oh. Like alot-alot?"

"[Toriel] Yes, That alot."

"Oh..So you're sad about her disappearing?"

"[Toriel] From the look of things, not just disappearing, but it sounds like she's stuck in the Core. How long has it been?"

"[Alphys]...I dont know...A week? Maybe longer.."

"[Scyhlla] I am so sorry to hear that.."

"Yeah, I am too..B-but hey, if she's there, we can get her out. We're trying to head there ourselves, ok? ^u^"

"[Alphys] But you cant..She tried her best to get out and...WAAAAAAHH! UNDYYYNE! TTOTT"

"! W-what does she mean by that, Tori?"

"[Toriel] Well...Undyne is a protector of the people. Have you heard of knights?"

"MmMmm. Never heard of those."

"[Toriel] Umm..Think of armored people that try their hardest to protect others. She was among the strongest. Your friend Frisk was able to calm even her down, and befriend her. She was really trying from what I've heard."

"That's amazing! I wanna be just like him one day! ^o^"

"[Toriel] N-now now, my child. Let's focus. /. \;"

"[Scyhlla] *giggles* He gets so distracted, please forgive him. Do you mind telling us how she was unable to get out on her own? Were you with her?"

"[Alphys] I-I was but...The monsters there have been getting out of hand and threw me out...and I dont know what to do.."

"[Toriel] How unfortunate. To be gone so long like this...(Without the one you love..Me and her aren't too different all of a sudden...) Alphys. We promise. We'll do all we can to get Undyne back. I miss seeing you two together myself."

"[Alphys] *wipes tears, sniffles* T-thank you, Toriel..I'll wait..I can wait as long as she comes back to me..I haven't built anything..or watched any anime ever since she left...I really hope she's ok...TT~TT"

"Hmm? What's anime?"

"[Alphys] The greateest thing ever...You wouldnt understand..TT TT Me and her would watch it all the time together..but since she's been away, I..I..."

"Hmm. Then I promise to watch some anime with you two once we get her back! How's that sound? ^u^"

"[Alphys] *sniffles* T-that would be great..Thank you for the offer, kid..T~T"

"[Scyhlla] I tried warping into this Core place, but couldnt. Do you happen to know why?"

"[Alphys] I dont know...Maybe one of the Amalgamates..have gotten so powerful that they can prevent warping..they're..not known to do that but.."

"[Scyhlla] Hmm. That does seem really off then."

"[Toriel] (It looks like she doesnt know what happened with the Amalgamates..I guess we'll have to find out for ourselves) Well then, little ones. It seems we have a bit more to this trip than we thought. Let's just hope things dont get any worse. We should run along now. And we'll see you later, Alphys. Please hang tight for us" she farewells as they waved to each other. I could tell that Alphys wanted to say something else to us, but she turned back around after a moment. The whole thing must really be getting to her, huh? I may not be too good at using my magic, but Im sure Tori will make up for it. Scyly is shaping up to be really good at it herself! I wonder how Frisk was able to handle them. Probably the same way as everyone else, right? They shouldnt be too different. Forcing your way on them doesnt seem to be the smartest thing to do, seeing how Undyne got trapped by them and all. Alright then. We'll see what we can do against these Amalgy monsters. What is an Amalgamate anyway? Im sure I can figure it out later.

The closer we got to this Core place, the more shifty it started looking. It was making my skin act all funny and my hairs were raising. Hmm. Whatever's there has to have alo of mana in it. If we can find those mana stones, it'd give me a good source to fight off any Amalgies that come our way. "*looks up at Toriel's concerned face as she holds her hands* Hey Tori, what's he matter?" I asked, "*looks at the mass of Amalgamates covering the entrance* Child...I..Really dont like the looks of this. It's starting to be worse than I thought..o o;" she replied, "*looks ahead* You're concerned about that big guy up ahead, huh? Im sure he's nice. Wait here. *runs in* Hey ! Mind letting us through?" I asked, "! Child, no! It could be dangerous!" Tori shouts at me. What's gotten into her? They wouldnt have any reason to hurt us. Once I turned my head back to the bunched up Amalgies, it already had a twisted, pasty arm wrapped around my shoulder. I traded glances with the dozen of eyes it had, and it shrunk; seeping through the crack of the double doors before opening for us. "Thanks, ^^. Let's go in guys, cmon ouo" I told Tori and Scyhlla, "(W-wasnt it trying to attack him just now? These things better know what's good for them. Let's just..Hope he can keep walking us in like this. I rather not blow the whole place up. Not when these used to be real people...)" Tori thought to herself, with Scyhlla putting on a cautious face herself.

We ventured further into the place, and inside suddenly got dark. "I WAS...SO...hungry.." we heard, making us jump in place. W-who could do that? We entered an elevator and went all the way down, as far as it could take us. "Where...WHERE ARE THEY...?" "LATE AGAIN...WHY WAS I LATE?" "BONES...PLEASE...JUS..T..ONE...BONE" "WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGS..." we were hearing, and every one of us were shuttering. My legs were starting to get weak...What's going on here..? "C-child..You aren't...Scared?" Tori asked, "Scared? What's that, Tori?" I asked, "Y-you never felt afraid before? o o;" she replied, "When you're afraid of something, you try to avoid whatever it is, and your body acts out of whack on you in response. To make sure you stay alive" Scyhlla explained for her, "V-very well put, little one. Couldnt have put it better myself ;" she said, "So this is what it feels like...In that case...*tightens grip on the Platinum Staff* Im scared for them...Tori...They're suffering...It's like...They dont know what's happening either...I-I really dont like it here now, Tori...Just...What are these Amalgies..?" I asked. She took a moment to find her words, quickly looking lowly before she replied, gripping her dress. "Im...Not sure, my child...The Amalgamates...These were once civil monsters...Now they're unrecognizable..They're stuck together from other monsters...People they knew..and didnt know...And they're worse than they've ever been.." Tori was telling me, making our hearts sink and I was losing breath..This is awful...You shouldnt be stuck together with others you do and dont know...In one body...It's so wrong...Who'd do this to them? The elevator was slowing down, signaling that we were about to reach the very bottom, but suddenly, we were hearing big thuds banging against the shaft we were in. "hungRrYYYYYYYYYYYY" we heard from outside the shutting doors, "T-Tori, I think we're stuck..What do we do?" I asked, "Stand back..I'll get us out" Toriel told us, making us get behind her. Once I did, I heard her charging alot of mana for a huge fire spell in her palms, but I couldnt see it due to her huge butt and breasts blocking my view. Once she casted her hands in front of herself, a massive flash blinded us, followed by a very loud BANG sound. Our ears were ringing and it took a moment for our eyes to unblur our vision, but when they did, we see the huge gap she made in front of herself. It bent the elevator's shaft outward and created this even bigger rocky hole in front of us, showing the 20ft drop to the ground. "There..Let us jump down. *looks behind, seeing my head right between huge ass cheeks while pressed against the wall* Oh! Sorry about that, my child! Are you alright? ;;" she frantically asked, "*pushes myself out of her butt once she steps forward* I-I am now..I'll be ok ~ " I replied, slightly dazed while Scyly picks herself off the ground from being pushed away by Tori. It wasnt from the explosion, but from her moving backwards and being hit hard enough by that huge butt of her's. I bet she'll keep her distance when she does that. I guess I should too, huh? But wow, Tori! I dont think any of us could've made something like that! Whoever's behind this better watch out, or you'll reget being turned into a dusty pile cuz of the strongest queen we have on our side ^^. Though it is kinda odd that we haven't came up close with any other Amalgies. Where are they? Did we scare them away? Suddenly, we heard a scratchy dragging noises coming from around the corner with some footsteps. Slow ones. Whoever it was, he sounds like he's having a hard time carrying what he has on him. It slightly put us at ease, but there was something still off about this.

"[?] *walks out of the corner, turns to us* Travelers?...Why come this far?"

"*sees the two bulky, metal-looking structures on his arms, glowing and pulsing at the ends touching the ground* We're..here for a girl that got taken away here."

"[?] Her...I should've guessed. I figured that she was forgotten about by now."

"Um..Mister? Why do you..Carry those heavy things on your arm? Wouldnt they be...Very unconfortable?"

"[?]...Dont concern yourself with...These. It's not important."

"[Scyhlla] They have Amalgamates in them, do they?"

"[?] *looks at her* ! You. Little girl...Are you...?"

"[Scyhlla] I am a Star Angel. Do you happen to know them?"

"[?] Star Angel...Perhaps you can help me.."

"[Scyhlla] Would those be magical artifacts?"

"[Toriel] I...Think so. In fact, these must be lost ones. Some just aren't found at all in the books I read, but they mention how they seem to disappear."

"[?] Finally...Will I be able to rid myself of these?...And this Curse?"

"Curse? What kind is it?"

"[Toriel] Now now, my child. Let's ask the man his name."

"[?] Kein...That is all I remember from my past life..I have been trapped down for who knows how long..These artifacts..They bound me down here...Fating me to absorb more and more Amalgamates through them.."

"[Scyhlla]...You wouldnt happen to be one too...Would you?"

"[Kein]...I dont know...Possibly."

"[Scyhlla] Then you cant be well. All these other Amalgamates..They're unsettling. Hurting..Almost as much as you are."

"[Kein] I feel their pain...Every last one of them coursing in my arms..With one in particular having the strongest presemse."

"W-who?"

"[Kein] It's unknown to me what it is...But I know it isnt a monster. It's something different..Something truely...Malicious."

"[Toriel] S-sir Kein, You mentioned about a girl being taken down here, yes? Can you show us where she is?"

"[Kein] I could...But it might be too late. Before I do...You. Little boy."

"Hmm? You mean me?"

"[Kein] You seem the most lost among the group. Why not stay behind and be at home?"

"Well uh...It's for Tori's friend! I'll do anything for Tori and anyone she's connected to."

"[Kein] So they've not told you."

"Told me what? About the Amalgies?"

"[Kein] About why the creation of the Amalgamates. Why came to be in the first place. I was there.."

"[Toriel] ! P-please, the child doesnt need to know. o o;"

"Tori..?"

"[Kein] I believe he does..More so when you told him so little, yet you string him along anyway."

"T-Tori..What does he mean?"

"[Toriel] My child...There is much you need not to know of.."

"[Kein] Allow me to enlighten him. You owe him as much for putting him in harm's way like this.."

"[Toriel] (...I could blow him away so the child doesnt hear this, but..We wouldnt know where Undyne is if I did..Though..Magical artifacts can absorb magic attacks, so who knows how well these are at that. Especially with a certain something within them in mind.)"

"[Kein] One day, there were trusteed scientists that experimented on the monsters that were down here, in this lab. Then there was an explosion. Then a meltdown. I somehow survived all of it...More recently, that event happened again in a similar fascion. This time..These artifacts happened to have be on my arms. It seems to...Also keep me from walking away from this ruined lab, due to some..Mysterious force."

"Im...Very sorry for all that..I wish I could do something about it.."

"[Scyhlla] (That must be why I couldnt teleport us here) When you said trusted scientists, how many were there? Was one of them named Alphys? She's yellow and scalie with a white coat."

"[Kein] Then she was one of those scientists. There...Had to have been at least 10..All but her are gone.."

"But why...Tori..Why would she..? / .\"

"[Toriel]...Child..This is something you do not need to know. Please-"

"Why would she make monsters like this...? They were good monsters and now...I dont wanna help anymore.."

"[Toriel] *puts a hand on my head* Child...If...If you must know...All this was an attempt. To deepen our understanding of monsters. This was not done on purpose. Everything became..An accident."

"But you...You left them here..."

"[Toriel]...Please..Just understand. We meddled with their lives enough. If we had to means to help them..."

"[Scyhlla] Maybe someone made those artifacts to contain the Amalgamates."

"[Kein] Possibly...But I myself took it upon myself to store these mystical stones in them to stablize whatever went inside. Even then...They seem to feed on this power. *feels a big p ulse* GHHHN! *pants* I...Dont know how much..Longer I can keep this..At bay.._V_;;"

"Then I promise...I'll unlock them from your arms. You deserve to be free, like the rest of us. Being in a dark, lonely place like this has to the worst. I cant imagine."

"[Kein] Hmph. How kind of you...Chances are it wont be so simple, but be my guest. One last thing...Storing these stones may not be a good idea after all. This power they have...It's leaking..And seems to be raising to the surface."

"[Scyhlla] I see. So it is infecting the Amalgamates like that. No wonder they feel similar to those slabs. Hmm."

"[Kein] It is also trying to change this lab..But I am afraid something terrible will come from this. It could be...Otherworldly."

"T-Tori, what could he mean..?"

"[Toriel] I am afraid we will have to find out..."

"[Kein] As far this friend of your's...This way.."

"Ok..." I lowly comply, following him as he dragged his shelled, weighted arms like before. You'd figure they would have snapped off by now, but maybe the stones has are preventing that. Still...I dont like how much mana those arm things have..It's even way more than how much Crysie usually has...Maybe I cant help him after all..But I'll try anyway. Knowing how unstable Kein's artifacts are getting, Scyhlla borrowed my staff to guard us against any attacking Amaglies. There were about 6 of them we had to blast away with her big lasers of Light magic. Could Star Angels be Pure Mages? It's like she really is one herself. I guess...The answer for that isnt here. Once we got to the area that Kein wanted us to arrive to...We saw it. In this large room, there housed a massive Amalgy with many faces on it's body, with a big coned hat that was floating above it. We all felt the tremendous amount of mana it carried, almost being as big as what Kein's artifact have in them. "This...It is the only Amalgamate that I cant absorb. Maybe if I tried my hardest to do so..But it's too dangerous. I am pretty certain the artifacts would break and fall apart if I tried. It has...A certain person's Soul" Kein informed us, "From how much mana it has...(I always wondered where Roxford got this idea from) You dont mean..The Soul of The Arcane King, do you?" Toriel points out, hearing a gasp from everyone, "(But...I thought...Roxy was the Arcane King...There's no way that..)" I was lamenting to myself, "*sees it charging elemental spells* It's going to attack us. I will not be helpful here. His magic is too great" Kein told us, "You cant move too well either..Then I will do my best against this monster. Along with these children of mine" Toriel declared, letting loose loads of mana in her body. Me and Scyhlla held the Platinum Staff together, and were able to blast the very large clump of monsters with a huge light beam that was half it's size, countering colliding through it's launch of powerful fire, lightning and wind spell. "(That staff...Could it be an artifact as well..? With the Star Angel's help..We may have a chance after all)" Kein was thinking, trying to gain some hope for us. Tori casts a huge fire spell at the Amalgy too, but it barely made him move back an inch. Oh no..That isnt good at all, Tori. Please..You have to save us ,! After she does 7 more big blasts of fire on the Amalgy, he starts glowing blue, with a huge eye peeping from the bottom of the hat that was above him. "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRHHHH!" he loudly roared, making the whole area shake in the process, and everything was turning white. What..Is he doing..? Did we...M-make him very mad at us? o o; "He's..Never done this before...Hmm! *sees mana going into his body, as well as other Amalgamates appearing, only to die and shrivel up soon after while floating in the distance* (Is he..He's draining mana from them? If he can do this...It's impossible..We have no chance now..)" Kein was lamenting, "*sees Undyne's head sticking out upside-down from it's body with blank eyes* I can see her! If we can get her out and leave, that might be all we can do here... e;" Toriel points out, "...Then allow me" Scyhlla declares, "*sees her let go of the staff before she floats towards the giant white blobby monster* Scyly? What are you...?" I was trying to ask in confusion, "*raises a hand and looks back at me* I cant hold back anymore. It's dangerous, but I'll have to use Starlight magic. A Nova Flare" she told me, "A what now? What's that?" I asked, "It's best that I just show you...HMM!" she then grunted, releasing a burst of mana that blew everyone away. A flashing red staff appears in her hand as she hovers above the Amalgy, then she makes a very wide red circle above her head with it, and a torrent of white flames come from it, consuming the poor thing in a series of explosions as it cried out wildly. Undyne flew out of it's body while this was happening, but once I went to come get her, the big thing extended out an extra arm and slammed me down. It then wrapped it's arm around me as I was regaining consciousness. "Child, no! Please! Let him go!" Toriel shouts, "T..tor..riel...?" Undyne weakly said, "*feels my bones starting to crush from it's grip* Let me go...I said..Let. Me. Go. NOW O O" I told him, letting loose a massive, surging flash of white power from my power, "*closes eyes as my power grows* What is this..? Is this still magic? *hears cracking* ! No..Please no...Dont break now! Whatever is inside mustn't come out!" Kein said in a panic, "TOO LATE" he heard, making his heart stop from the omnious, haunting voice from the evil spirit within the artifacts as it began to fuse. The spirit arose for a moment, hovering in the middle of everyone, and with a frightening look he gave everyone, everything seemed to have disappeared and became nothing.

I cant see...Almost like before I met Tori...Or anyone..Speaking of them, where did they go? Is everything...Gone? But how? It isnt over..There's no way...It cant be over just like that! We were going to save Undyne! She was right there and I could've grabbed her! This cant be how everything ends...I had friends...Tori...Scyhlla...Roxy...Frisky...I had everything I could've ever wanted..But something stupid had to get in the way of it all..I have to get out..There has to be a way out..But where? There's nothing here...Nothing...

"I might've said too much there. Not that it matters. I know it wont mess up any timelines and continuities."

Once I reappeared, I see Tori, Scyhlla and Undyne walking away from the Core place. I wonder if the Amalgies are gone now...Oh well, I can always fin out later. Right now, time to let everyone know Im back. "Dont look so worried, Toriel. Im sure he'll show up in no time. *turns to her and sees me hop on her for a big hug from behind, landing on her huge butt* Never mind, there he is. *giggles* I think he really likes your butt ^.^" Scyhlla comments, "My my, child. Care to warn me next time? /" Toriel said, "Hahah, sorry. Even if Im not there for a few minutes, I miss you so much, Tori ^o^" I told her, "Look at him. It's like he's a big runt. Guess he's still not as bad as lil ol' Frisk" Undyne comments, "Frisky is my best friend too. He's always fun to play with. I cant wait to see him again too ^u^. I also cant wait to watch some anime with you and Alphie ouo" I replied, "!...LET'S HURRY BACK THEN O O;" Undyne told me before grabbing my hand and dashing off to Alphys' lab, leaving Scyly and Tori in the dust, making them try their best to catch up. It took them a minute, but Undyne really couldnt wait to have me come inside and start talking with Alphie. She heard the door swing open and turned around with her heart skipping a beat.

Me and Undyne brought together some chairs, putting them in front of this big screen Alphys has, and she was typing on it's keyboard so that the right thing would pop up. She had it on a screen with several colorful icons. The only ones I could make out were this one that had an orange ball with a star on it, a pink wand with a star on it, and book with a star on it. These anime shows sure love their stars, huh? While Alphie did some sweeping, Undyne was sitting in her chair, waiting with us while fantasizing about which show to watch. "Hey Scyly, do you getting Roxy and Frisky here to watch this with us? I wouldnt want them to miss this! ^u^" I asked, "Sure. It should only take a minute" she agreed to do, warping away for a moment. "Hey 'Dyne, what's that show with the star ball like?" I asked, "*GASP* YouNeverHeardOfThat?! You've lived under a rock! Everyone knows that one, silly! ಡꇴಡ" she told me, "Well I dont know much of anything about myself or anything else around me. Im still pretty new to this stuff so..o3o" I replied, "Oh...You really dont know huh...U-uh ok. Well it's one of the best things you'll ever see! It's got beams, buff guys fighting all the time, and everyone's practically an alien! Maybe you'll get jacked yourself after a few episodes! ಡꇴಡ"" she explained, "Oh. Hey I shoot alot of beams too! I shot some pretty strong ones at Roxy when he used some magic on me and ended up going through mine! Is it something like that? ouo" I asked, "S-something like that. There aint much magic in the show, but hey! Im sure you and this friend of yours'll love this one! ^ꇴO" she ensured. I cant wait for Roxy to get here and watch it with us then! Even if the spinner doesnt land on it, the other anime shows should be just as good, right?

Within a few moments, I was watching this anime show that had alot of magic spells in it and had an older guy calling out spell names for the little boy he was partnered up with. I think Alphie called it Gatch Spell? Roxy looked pretty tired when he was warped here with us. I guess Frisky was a bit more of a handful than he thought, even with his sis' help. "Sorry it didnt land on the show we talked about, kid. But what do you think of this one?" Undyne asked me, "I think I like this one way more! Even though it gets sad when the partner goes away, it isnt too bad when we get back to the main teams ^u^. I even like the episodes when there isnt much of battling" I was trying to explain to her, "Heh. That's quite an impression you got there. You'd be a great reviewer for this stuff! ಡꇴಡ" she told me, "You think so? ouo" I replied, "I know so, kid. UuU *pets my head, giving me a huge smile on my face* (EEEEEEK! IM SO DAMN COOOL! IM DOING THE THING THAT GATCH AND KYO DO ALL THE TIME! ✰u✰)" Undyne then thought to herself, using all of her being to not explode with pride, making the other girls giggle as they see her smile cracking. After we got through 7 more episodes of it, Alphys suggested for us to stop where we were since we were about to get into a big "Arc", and so we did. "Hmmm, I've never seen this anime before, but man after seeing it, I cant wait to see more! I really wonder what Gatch can do against this Rago guy. He practically toyed with him after a few spells from his lady partner. *stands, and waves scarf to the side* Of course, if I were in this show, I'd wipe the floor with all of them. UwU" Roxfort propagtes, "Are you sure? I have at least 3 times more mana than you" Scyhlla points out, "I remember I outlasted you mana-wise yesterday" I also point out, "W-well guess what, bigger dont mean better cuz I was still able to beat you with my magic! It slipped my mind for a moment. Um Alphie, do you have a room for me to sleep in? Those last episodes kinda tired me out. I was getting so excited =u=" I asked, followed by a giggle, "Uh sure thing, kid. I have a bedroom I made right upstairs. We'll probably watch for another hour or two" she said to me, "*yaaawns* Nice. Thanks Alphie =u=" I replied, going up the stairs as instructed while Tori decided to stay down with us, enjoying the company and planning to come to me later. The bed wasnt half bad. It had some sheets and pillow and that's all I need ^^. This would have been a quick lil rest for me...If it wasnt for something that came out of nowhere. Or rather...A certain someone.

In a small window of confusion, Toriel (?) finds herself pierced by a speared that was lunged into her at a great enough speed for her to barely react to as she was thrusted into the wall behind her. "WAHT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING WITH MY FRIEND?! OVO" Undyne shouts, "*GAAAASPS* p-pheeew...I can...breathe again..." I lowly said, "Hmhmhmhmm..Hello there, Undyne. Nice to see you like this..●u●" Toriel (?) said in a greeting tone, "CUT THE CRAP! What're you doing here?! OVo" she demanded, "So forceful \w/. I just wanted to claim what was mine in the first place..It looks like it'll be just a bit harder than I expected" she was explaining, "You got the wrong kid then..AND DONT THINK YOU'RE GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!" she yelled at her some more, "*GASP* W-who is this monster? This cant be me, can it? O O; *is given a smirk by her before she warps away, having Undyne yank her spear out of the metallic wall, then looks down at me as I struggled to breathe* Child! Are you alright?! You look indecent! /o \" Toriel reacts while rushing to me, "*gets held by her* Tori..? Is..that you..?" I asked, "Yes, my child, it's me..Not that monster...Who would be so cruel while trying to pose as me? /m\" she was saying, "She had almost the same amount of mana as you. Maybe even more if she didnt hold back like that. I would've felt this much sooner and be more prepared, but it is like she came out of nowhere" Scyhlla informed, "..Tori...Do you...Know someone named Sans? *sees her eyes flare open* I met him for the second time earlier and..He said I might see double, or even triple of you..along with other things..." I was telling her. Tori looked like she was thinking about something while struggling with what just happened, not wanting it to occur again. "We'll..We'll have to rest here for a bit...Then go to his brother, Pappyrus. I know where he lives" she said with a more serious face, "...Im sorry for this happening, Toriel. Maybe I should've been more on guard" Undyne apologizes, "Dont be. Like Scyhlla said, this other me came out of nowhere. No one would know what to do..Go ahead and be downstairs. I'll be here with him. *sees her take a moment then walk out the door* I'll also take full blame for this..I should've been here for him..Just in case..." Tori told her, making her look back before goind down the stairs with heavy heart. "*lays in bed while holding me tight* Child...I'll make sure no one ever hurts you like that..Not again.." she promises, "Thank you, Tori...I love you.." I told her, "*feels a tear drop* I love you too..=w=" she lowly said with a smile, having me rest in her embrace. Who really was that Tori? Sans should know, right? I hope she wont be too much of a problem...I just want to be Tori...Especially like this...Forever. Feeling like a bit bad for me as well, Scyly sat in front of us and closed her eyes, building more mana within herself, and giving some to Tori. In the process, she started seeing a new place. "Umm..Hello? Who's there? Do you use magic too?" she heard from a girl's voice, "Yes. Where are you from?" Scyhlla asked, "Umm...Hometown? I dont think I've ever seen you before" she replied, "Likewise. I cannot sense you anywhere. If you can use magic too, do you think you can help us?" she asked, "I dont think so..? Maybe if you were here, I'll be able to" she answers, "If I were there..(Maybe I need to improve on my warping magic after all) I have one or two people in mind who can help get me there. Wait where ever you are, ok?...Hello? Hmm. It looks like I lost hold of her. She sounded perfectly fine on her end. No need to rush then, but the sooner I can get help for us, the better" she was lowly saying to herself, continuing to share mana with Toriel. Alphys saw this happening from the side of the door. She felt worried for us but wanted to ask about all of it some other time. Instead she decided to calm her nerves by watching some Slice of Lifes with her girlfriend.
