TIME FOR THEIR DATE!
Spencer woke up the following morning at 4:30 am, excited about her date with Pietro. After pestering Pietro for more hints, he had told her to dress in comfortable clothing, and that they were going to be doing a lot of walking. Cooper is snoozing next to her and huffs when Spencer nosily gets out of the bed. She had picked out a cute and casual outfit late last night after a majority of the bodies in the apartment had left.
She hops into the shower, takes a quick shower, and gets ready for her first, official date. She's excited but also nervous, she's not sure how to act? What if she does something embarrassing? Spencer shakes her head and continues to get ready when there was a knock on her door. Spencer tilts her head and goes to answer her door and finds Nat standing there.
Spencer cocks an eyebrow, "Good morning," Spencer lets Nat in.
"Well, you look cute," Nat drawls with a smirk and Spencer rolls her eyes, "I came here to make sure you had these," Nat holds up a pack of condoms.
Spencer's eyes widened and a shriek leaves her lips as she smacks the condoms out of Nat's hands, "You're terrible!" Spencer growled as Nat laughed.
"Spencer?!" Steve barges in with Sam, the latter holding up a bat.
Steve and Sam observed the scene; Nat's snickering, Spencer's red face, and Cooper glaring at them for being loud. "Oh shit," Sam muttered, catching Steve's attention, Steve looked over at Sam and found Sam looking down at the ground.
Steve looked down and was horrified at what he saw on the floor.
"It's not what you think!" Spencer shouted, kicking at the condoms on the floor as Steve's face went red as hers, "Nat, you're such an asshole!" Spencer shrieked.
Sam was trying not to laugh.
"It was a joke," Nat snickered, "A bad one, yeah, don't get a heart attack, old man."
Steve was left sputtering like crazy, unsure what to even say. "I think he needs to be removed from this situation before he has a heart attack," Spencer tells Sam.
"On it," Sam chuckles, going to grab Steve and lead him back into the apartment and out of Spencer's room, "Actually, can I have these?" Sam asked, pointing to the condoms, "If you aren't using them?"
Spencer pins Sam with a glare, "Why?"
Sam returns the glare, "Why do you think, Spencer?"
Spencer and Sam stare at each other as Steve wobbles into the kitchen. "To fill with water and throw at Stark!" Sam blurts out with a childish grin.
Spencer and Nat exchanged surprised looks, "Fine, take them." Spencer mumbles as Sam quickly snatches up the condoms on the floor before flying out of Spencer's room with giggles running out of his mouth.
"Sam's weird," Spencer tells Nat.
Nat nods, "Very, he's lucky he's handsome."
"Anyway, what did you want to give me besides the condoms and heart attack?" Spencer asked her friend.
Nat held up a blade, "This."
Spencer stared blankly, "Why would I need that?"
"In case Pietro gets too touchy," Nat explains in a condescending tone.
"You want me to stab him?!" Spencer demanded loudly.
"It's coated with poison," Nat explained with a cheerful tone, "Not enough to kill him, but enough to knock him out and make him lose a few fingers."
"Nat, you're worse than the boys," Spencer sighed.
"Unless you want Pietro to get touchy with you?" Nat inquired with a wiggle of her eyebrows.
Spencer groans, "Don't make me use the knife on you, Nat."
Nat rolls her eyes, "I just wanted to see you before you left on your first date," Nat explains, "Laura wanted to come but you know how Clint is, but she did demand you visit today or tomorrow to spill the beans about your date." Nat explained plopping down on Spencer's bed.
Spencer watched Nat with interest, "How have you been?" Spencer asked, quietly. Nat hadn't been the same since Hulk disappeared and hadn't returned.
"Fine," Nat said dismissively, "Don't you have a date to go to?" She changed subjects too quickly and Spencer sighed inwardly, but wouldn't pry.
"You have money?" Nat asked as Spencer checked her person for wallet, cellphone, and chapstick.
Spencer couldn't help but to smile, "More than enough," Spencer says, "Tony totally didn't transfer a hundred thousand dollars into my bank account last night."
Nat smirked, "Just a hundred thousand? What a cheapskate, I'll be sure to mock him later so he sends you more money."
Spencer couldn't help but laugh.
Spencer left the apartment feeling giddy as she hurried to meet Pietro at the loading zone; they were taking a Quinjet somewhere. Pietro was already there and was surprised to see Spencer so early. Spencer tried not to blush too much seeing Pietro dressed up in casual clothing-Pietro was handsome, there was no arguing there. Tony had even gotten Pietro a modeling job at Nike since Pietro wanted to make some cash on his own, and Tony had done a collaboration with Nike in the past, it was an easy setup to do.
Tony also wanted to market off of Pietro, get his and Wanda's face out there to the public.
Pietro was wearing black fitted jeans, a light grey hooded sweatshirt with a dark denim jacket over, and Nike sneakers. He looked way out of Spencer's league and a part of her felt insecure for a moment, but the way Pietro's silver-blue eyes lit up as Spencer walked up to him, made her heart quiver.
The beanie Pietro was wearing was just the cherry on top for Spencer, she loved men in beanies.
"Morning," Spencer said shyly with a light blush.
"Morning, princezná," Pietro engulfed her in a hug, "You look beautiful." Pietro complimented softly.
Spencer almost squealed in delight as she hugged Pietro tightly.
"Ahem," Clint coughed from inside the Quinjet.
Spencer let go of Pietro and stared at Clint, "What the fuck are you doing here?" Spencer demanded.
Clint gave her a flat look, "Watch your mouth," Clint said sternly, "Well, Pietro doesn't know how to fly a Quinjet so, here I am." Clint said proudly.
Spencer narrowed her eyes, "I can fly the Quinjet."
"No can do," Clint says, "It's a condition."
"What?" Spencer said, confused.
Pietro cleared his throat, "Tony did me a favor," Pietro says with a nervous smile and rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "And this was one of the conditions."
"I swear I will kick everyone's ass right now," Spencer threatened.
"Whoa, violent much?" Clint rolled his eyes, "I'm just flying you guys there, no big deal." Clint said, "Now, get in." Spencer eyed Clint warily but Clint ignored her and went back into the Quinjet to get it ready for take-off.
"So, can I have another hint on where we're going?" Spencer asked Pietro, cutely fluttering her eyes.
They were both seated next to each other, buckled in, as Clint took off in the Quinjet. Pietro stared down at the young woman with amusement, "Your charm is hard to resist," Pietro says with a smirk as Spencer blushes lightly, "But, no hints."
Spencer pouts, "Well, it must be far if we have to travel by Quinjet," Spencer ponders, "I'm surprised Tony didn't make you beg more, he hates doing favors." Spencers says thoughtfully.
Pietro leans back to get comfortable, "Tony didn't do the favor because he likes me," Pietro says quietly, "He agreed to my favor because he knew it would make you happy."
Spencer smiles fondly, "Tony sure has a soft spot for me," Spencer says quietly, "He can be a real dick sometimes though, I hate the old-timer jokes he uses to make fun of Steve." Spencer scrunches her face in an annoyed manner.
"Have you known them long?" Pietro asks, curiously.
Spencer thoughtfully taps her chin, "For almost four years," Spencer says, "We met on the same day that Loki decided to kill my father and open a portal for that alien army in New York." Spencer chuckled.
Pietro's eyes widened, "Your father was killed?" He asked, shocked, and confused.
Spencer smiled sadly and nodded, "Yeah, Loki killed him, but my Godfather Nick somehow brought him back," Spencer explained, "I never asked how I honestly don't care." Spencer shrugged lightly.
"Your hardships didn't stop after being rescued from Strucker," Pietro says softly with a frown on his face.
"Why the long face?" Spencer asks, "That's life, isn't it?" Spencer questioned.
"I hope not," Pietro says quietly, "I would hope that all of our good deeds give us the chance to live without hardships."
"I would hope so, too," Spencer hums in agreement, "I mean, it must pay off, I mean, look at Clint, he used to be a criminal and now, he owns a farm and has a family." Spencer jabbed her thumb towards the pilot.
"I was not a criminal!" Clint exclaimed from the front of the Quinjet.
Spencer leaned in towards Pietro and whispered, "Total criminal."
"Spencer, I will turn this bird around!" Clint snaps in a grumpy voice.
"So sensitive!" Spencer groaned as Pietro laughed, "Fine, whatever, he wasn't a frickin' criminal." Spencer grumbled.
Conversation between the three continued with Pietro asking questions about their Avengers Adventures, about Spencer's time after being reduced, and her childhood. Pietro wasn't keen on talking about his childhood much, there wasn't much to recall from what Pietro could remember. That didn't mean they didn't live a good childhood, they lived a comfortable life before their parents were killed by a Stark Industries nuke.
Spencer, of course, respected that Pietro wasn't interested in talking about his childhood or much about their lives before meeting each other. "Okay, kids," Clint says as he landed the bird, "I'll be in the state doing some work for Nick," Clint told them as he unlocked the back hatchet, "Gimme a call when you want a lift back home."
"Thank you, Clint," Pietro thanked the older man with a small smile before Pietro grabbed Spencer's hand and tugged her out of the Quinjet.
"Bye, Clint!"
"Don't get into any fights!" Clint waves with a grin, "If you do, record it for me!"
Spencer rolls her eyes as she takes in her surroundings. Her eyes widened as she realized just where they were. "Mr. Maximoff and Ms. Coulson, welcome to Disneyland!" A woman greeted them with a wide smile.
Spencer's heart dropped into her stomach as the realization dawned on her; Pietro had taken her to Disneyland as their first date. "How did you know?" Spencer asked in shock.
Pietro rubbed the back of his head, "I talked to Steve about where you would want to go for a first date and he told me you had never been to Disneyland." Pietro explained with a sheepish smile, "Steve mentioned that Tony had wanted to take you, but never got the chance, so I went to Tony for help."
"Whoa," Spencer gaped.
"We are so excited to have Shockwave and Quicksilver join us today!" The woman chirped holding up lanyards, "I'm Christie and it's an honor to be meeting real-life superheroes," She says brightly, "These are you exclusive V.I.P passes," Christie handed them their lanyards, "There is no waiting in line, you can go straight to the ride," Christie explained, "We have a designated resting room for the both of you as requested by Mr. Stark if you feel like you need to take some time to rest, here is where the room will be," Christie unfolded the map of the park and pointed to where their resting room was.
"You'll have free drinks and food if you should request it," Christie added.
"Whoa, how much did Tony pay for that?" Spencer said with wide eyes.
"Oh, he didn't pay anything!" Christie blinked, "The CEO offered."
Spencer's eyes widened even more.
Christie smiled and explained, "We are very big on supporting our superheroes," Christie grinned, "Tony has a deal with Disney so we can sell merchandise of the Avengers. A lot of children adore the Avengers, so, it brings in a lot of revenue," Christie paused and continued, "It would be rude to charge the Avengers money to be in the park, considering you all put your lives on the line to constantly save the world."
"Wow," Spencer mumbled, "I wasn't aware we were so popular."
"Your merchandise is sold out every day alongside Captain America and Thor," Christie smiles, "I won't take up much of your time," Christie says giving Spencer and Pietro a business card, "If you need any assistance whatsoever, please do not hesitate in calling me," Christie warmly says, "We have tight security for today to ward off the media so, you both can have as much privacy as possible."
Spencer blushed.
"Thank you, Christie, I appreciate this," Pietro says with a handsome smile.
"Of course! Enjoy the park, your ride is waiting!" Christie gestures to the sleek black golf cart, "It will take you to the Main Street." Christie tells them.
"May I?" Pietro asks.
Spencer looks at Pietro and sees him gesturing towards her hand, "O-Oh sure." Spencer blushes.
Pietro smiles at her and grabs her hand and tugs her to the golf cart. "Thank you, Christie!" Spencer waves.
Christie waves back with a warm smile.
Spencer was in awe as the couple was driven to Main Street, Pietro quietly watching Spencer with evident fondness, "This is cool," Spencer murmured amazed by the magic of Disneyland, "Thank you, Pietro," Spencer smiles at him.
Pietro's heart stutters foolishly.
He manages a fond smile, "I'm glad you like it, princezná."
They were dropped off and Spencer squealed like an excited child; the park was already open and there was a steady stream of people coming through the entrance gates. She was feeling the magic of Disneyland and they had just gotten there, "Okay, where should we go first?" Spencer asked with wide eyes as Pietro pulled out the map they were given and opened it.
"How about we start at Adventureland?" Pietro suggested.
Spencer was bobbing her head excitedly, "Sounds like a plan!"
Pietro put their map into his backpack, gently grabbed Spencer's hand, and started their adventure in Disneyland.
SIKE IT MIGHT BE NEXT CHAPTER, BUT I MIGHT BE LAZY AND KINDA RUSH THROUGH IT, LMAO
