CHAPTER TEN: CONNECTION BUILDING

I had a huge smile on my face as the elevator took me to my assigned destination. For the entire walk over to the elevator that led back to the Lobby, I couldn't stop thinking about what happened with Roxanne and how it came to a very happy ending when she beamed the moment I mentioned that I was staying here to cover the night shift.

To be honest, I was very glad that Kyle had asked me to cover both the day and night shifts today. If he didn't, it would've made it much harder to say 'no' to Roxanne. While there was no doubt in my mind that I would've said 'yes' to staying a little longer in the Raceway with her, it would've landed me in trouble. That was something I absolutely didn't need at all.

Why saying no to Roxanne was hard was because I was keenly aware that all the wolf needed was love and compassion, something that she had lacked for a very long time. While she was loved by her fans and her friends cared about her, Roxanne needed that one person that would be there for her in her time of need. Someone that she had a shoulder to cry on when she needed to let her tears loose, someone she could talk to that would listen to her, etc. I was going to be that someone for her, no matter what.

The elevator dinged before the doors slid open. I stepped out of the elevator and entered the Lobby. I walked over to the same spot where I last met up with Kyle, suspecting that he was going to be there. Just as I suspected, I found him in the same spot as last time. To me, it seemed as though Kyle liked to wait there at that particular spot in the Lobby. Why that was the case was beyond me, but it didn't concern me.

"Hey, Kyle!" I called out. Kyle turned around and smiled as soon as he saw me.

"Ah, Mihael," he said before I got about a foot away from him. "How did everything go with Roxy?"

I smiled at the question. "It went well." My smile weakened slightly. "Things got emotional for her when she told me about what the previous guards did to her and her telling me what happened the last few days. It was both really heartbreaking and enraging. Enraging upon hearing what the guards did to her, and heartbreaking that she went as far as to beg me to not end up like them."

Kyle frowned upon hearing this. "Yeah, it is. Talking about something like that with Roxy is something very personal for her and it always ended with her breaking down in tears." He smiled weakly. "It's good to hear that she's confiding with you about it. I think it will do her a lot of good if we don't talk about it. If she confided in you about it, it would greatly upset her if we talked about it."

I nodded my head quickly, understanding him completely. Normally, I would mentally kick myself for saying anything, but I didn't this time because Kyle was keenly aware of the things that Roxanne went through. And Kyle was right about another thing entirely; if someone, like her friends, who didn't know anything about the things the guards had done to her in the past, were to walk by us and heard us talking about it, I couldn't even imagine what would happen if that were to ever happen in the future.

"Did anything else happen?" he asked. To that, my smile returned.

"Yes, I told Roxanne that I was covering the night shift and she just beamed at the news," I replied. Kyle's smile grew at the reply.

"That's great to hear," he said. "It's a good thing too because Roxy has been talking about you a lot lately."

I was taken by surprise at this. I had no idea that Roxanne had been talking about me a lot lately. What did all of that mean, if it even did have meaning anyway? My thoughts about Roxanne possessing an interest in me came back up. Was that a sign or an indication that she liked me?

I mentally kicked that thought out of my mind. Her talking about me a lot probably didn't mean anything. I was probably overthinking it all again and to that, I mentally kicked myself for overthinking it again. That was something I hated about myself.

"Has she?" I asked curiously.

Kyle nodded. "Yep. According to what Freddy told me, Roxy wouldn't stop talking about how you took things seriously, unlike our previous guards, and how you liked her solo performance. He even mentioned how fast her tail would wag every time she mentioned or even thought about you. We're really glad that she's taken a liking to you."

I felt my heart skip a beat upon hearing this. If what Kyle said was true, then that added some more evidence to my suspicions for Roxanne possessing an interest in me. However, it wasn't enough to convince me completely. If my suspicions wanted to be proven true, I was going to have to see it all for myself. Even though both Kyle and Freddy didn't seem like the type to make things up or lie, I still wanted to make sure it was true.

My father always told me that if someone told me something, I had to investigate and see things for myself. People could make things up to mess with others or have them believe something that wasn't true and to be quite honest, that was one of the most annoying aspects about people that can mess someone up. Doing things like that can make other people lose trust in you, and when something does happen for real and you were to try telling them, they would brush you off, thinking that you're lying to get attention. No matter how hard you try, you would fail to get someone to listen and it would be too late to turn back.

That was what I was going to do; find out the truth myself. Again, I didn't think they were lying. I wanted to see it for myself. That was the kind of person I was. While it may be frustrating for people, to me, it was the safe thing to do.

"I see," I simply replied.

"It doesn't disturb you, does it?" he asked. To be honest, it didn't really disturb me, but it was more like weird, but not the bad kind of weird.

"Not really," I replied honestly. "It's nice to know that she doesn't hate me like I feared she would."

"I think we can all agree that we're all glad that it didn't turn out that way," Kyle pointed out.

"No argument there," I said. I looked to the entrance doors and saw cars pulling in and taking their chosen spot. "Here they come, Kyle."

"Are you ready for this?" he asked. I nodded and that's when people began stepping out of their cars and advancing toward the building. I was ready to keep those kids and guests safe, no matter the cost.

Just like how it went on my first day, the morning went smoothly and I was sitting in the Lost and Found, checking the security cameras on my Faz-Watch to make sure everything was okay and everyone in the Mega Pizzaplex was safe. While many may see that as boring and repetitive, I didn't see it as such as I was doing something that I've seen as my sworn duty; watch and protect the kids and the guests from harm. Luckily, I didn't bump into them self-entitled psychopaths and I hoped that I wouldn't on my second day.

I checked the time on my phone and saw that it was 11:32 AM. I wasn't too surprised to see that at all. People have told me many times that the more productive you are, the faster time flies by. While that does work for most people, for others, time just loves to screw people over and it doesn't fly by fast. Instead, time goes by very slowly, making it torturous for those that really want their workday to be finally over so they can go home and relax.

'Might as well do my rounds,' I thought to myself. I got up from the chair and walked over to the door. Swinging the door open, I stepped out of the room and closed the door behind me. I turned my attention to a group of kids near the golden Freddy statue and a strange wave of excitement flowed through me.

Roxanne Wolf was surrounded by a small group of kids and it looked as though they were begging for an autograph. The wolf had a big smile on her face as she happily signed the kid's plushies of herself. To be honest, it was the most adorable thing I've ever seen. To see her all happy and surrounded by her fans was also very heartwarming as it all proved that there were people who loved her. Love and compassion were all she needed and love was what Roxanne Wolf was getting at that very moment.

After signing the last kid's plushy, the small group hopped happily away from the wolf mascot, returning to their parents. Roxanne watched the happy kids go with that smile still on her face. When they were all gone, Roxanne looked in my direction and I swear, the wolf's smile grew even more. In return, a smile formed on my face.

Roxanne began walking over to me and judging by her slight shaking, I could tell that she was barely containing her excitement. When she got about a foot away from me, Roxanne Wolf was clearly resisting the urge to hug me. I had better control of myself.

"Hey, Mihael," she said, her voice showing signs of her holding back her excitement.

"Hey, Roxanne," I said.

"Can I talk to you in Lost and Found?" she asked. To think that I'd be finding myself going back to Lost and Found to talk to her just as I was about to start my rounds was kind of humorous.

"Sure, I don't mind," I replied with the smile still on my face. I could see Roxanne's tail was starting to wag. She had no idea how cute she was when her tail wagged.

We walked back to the Lost and Found where I opened the door and then gestured for Roxanne to go in first. She seemed flattered that I was letting her go in first and after a moment, she went inside. I went in after her and I closed the door behind me. As soon as I turned to face her, she instantly wrapped her arms around me and began hugging me.

"I'm so happy that you're staying tonight!" Roxanne exclaimed happily and excitedly. I returned the hug and we remained that way for a brief moment before we broke off the hug.

"I'm happy to hear that," I said. "And judging by how much you were shaking earlier, you were excited to see me and about what we could do together."

"I am!" she confirmed. "I don't know why, but I get so excited when I see you. As for tonight, it's going to be so much fun!"

Roxanne's tail then began wagging uncontrollably as a result of the intense emotions she was feeling. The way her tail wagged reminded me of how a dog's tail would wag when it got happy or excited. It was all very interesting to me that Roxanne could do that without realizing it at all. Maybe she knew that her tail did that, but if she did, Roxanne never said anything about it or showed any sign of acknowledgment of it.

"I have no doubt that it will be," I said. Then, I realized something kind of important. "Just out of curiosity, what do you guys do during the night? The first night I was here didn't go so well, but now that I'm going to stay here for the night, I would like to have a good idea of what you guys do."

It was true; during the first night, they really didn't do much other than just sit down and talk or hang around the different attractions. It definitely would've gone better if I wasn't so stupid and do what I did that night. Bluntly, I ruined everyone's night without meaning to, and it wasn't a good nor fun time for anyone.

Roxanne Wolf showed no reaction to me mentioning the disastrous first night nor did her wagging tail show any sign of slowing down for even mentioning it either. Her happiness grew at the question, though.

"I'm glad you asked, Mihael," she said, placing her right hand on her hip. "Sometimes after a long day, we have this thing called game night where we go to every attraction and compete against one another. Kyle was the one who came up and shared the idea with me and my friends and we've been doing it for the past 11 years."

I was surprised by the reply. Game night is when a group of people gather up and do different activities with the sole purpose of having fun. The thing about game night is that you either love it or hate it. Game night was something that my family did occasionally and while I did hate it since I never won a single game, at the same time, I had a fun time every time.

It was both strange and humorous to hear that the four mascots have a game night of their own. Thinking about it, it would make slight sense for them to do something like that. Since the place was closed during the night until it reopened for the day, they could all do what they wanted that they couldn't do together. Everyone deserves to have a fun time, including advanced and sentient animatronics like Freddy, Chica, Montgomery, and Roxanne.

I smiled. "That sounds like fun."

"It is," Roxanne agreed happily. "And game night was even better once Roxy Raceway was finally completed. I always win on my raceway during game night. I am the best after all."

Suspicion was immediately aroused, though I had to resist the urge to raise an eyebrow at her. I didn't buy it. No one was victorious all the time. My little sister was great at Uno, but she had lost a decent number of times to Rebecca and Harold. My father was really good at playing chess, but he too lost a good number of times to Rebecca and Lisa.

For Roxanne Wolf to say that she never lost a race during the times that they had game night was hard to believe. You may be very good at something, but that doesn't mean that there was a possibility that you couldn't be defeated by someone who was better than you. Everyone has experienced defeat at some point in their lives during game night, and no one was undefeatable.

The only things I could come up with were either she was lying or she had been cheating. It was hard for me to see a reason why Roxanne Wolf would lie so the only thing that seemed logical was that she must have been cheating. The problem was how she was cheating. People have many different strategies on how to cheat on something, racing included. I decided to keep a mental note on it and when the time for game night comes, I was going to watch very closely and see how she was winning every single race.

I kept the smile on my face so as to not alert the wolf that I was very suspicious of her.

"That sounds really cool, Roxanne," I said as casually as I possibly could. "You must be really good at what you do."

Roxanne beamed more brightly at my compliment. She clamped her hands together as her expression turned into that lovey-dovey look I've seen many times in my life. Something deep down told me that Roxanne Wolf probably said that to me as a way to impress me. This just added more evidence of Roxanne possessing an interest in me, but it still wasn't enough.

"It's my raceway after all," Roxanne said a bit pridefully. "I am the best. They don't call me the Racing Champ for nothing."

As soon as she said that, I thought back to all of those trophies I saw decorating the hallway leading to the raceway. I thought about how I believed them to be props, but now, I was having second thoughts. If they were real, then wow.

"Then that leaves a question," I pointed out. "Are the trophies that decorated the hallway leading to your raceway real?"

She giggled in response. "No, they're just props. There is a room in the raceway that contains all of my real trophies I earned for winning all of my races."

That caught my interest. While I was going to keep an eye on her when we got to her raceway for game night, I also wanted to go see the room where her trophies were stored.

"That sounds cool," I complimented. That just made Roxanne happier as her tail began wagging faster.

"Thank you," she said. "So, what were you doing in the Lobby?"

That question reminded me of what I was planning to do before Roxanne wanted to talk to me in Lost and Found. I got so caught up in talking to her that I forgot my task.

"I was heading out to go do my rounds," I replied.

"Can I join you?" she asked. I was taken by surprise by the question. I couldn't figure out if I heard her correctly or if I just imagined what she said completely.

"Wait what?" I asked stupidly. Roxanne showed no sign of irritation at my reaction.

"I asked if I could join you," she repeated. She reached for my right hand and cupped it in both of her hands. She smiled at me as her cute tail wagged even faster. "Can I, please?"

I didn't know what to do. As much as I wanted her to join me, at the same time, I didn't want her to. It wasn't her joining me on my rounds that had me concerned. It was how people would think and the tendency to jump to conclusions.

People all have the damaging and extremely dangerous tendency to jump to conclusions when they don't have enough information on something. When that happens, it could lead to serious consequences and make them think negatively about you or the other. That was something I tried to avoid at all costs by trying to think of different alternatives.

If people saw Roxanne with me making my rounds, they might jump to conclusions. They might think that there was something going on with the both of us, which there wasn't, and spread rumors. That would no doubt get Roxanne in serious trouble. I wasn't sure, but I don't think either Roxanne or any of the mascots were supposed to get close with any of the personnel. I didn't want to think about what else people might jump into.

However, I thought about it more closely. Much like how I had a feeling that there was a reason why Roxanne did the things she did for me, like inviting me to her green room for a solo performance and to come to see her raceway, she might have a reason for wanting to join me on my rounds. I wouldn't know if I didn't ask her.

"Can I?" she asked, sounding hopeful. I looked the wolf in the eyes as she did the same.

"Before I give you an answer, I need to know something," I said. "Is there any reason why you want to join me on my rounds? Now before you assume I'm saying no, I'm not. I'm curious as to why you want to. Mind telling me why?"

She hesitated for a moment while still having my hand cupped in both of her hands.

"Well," she began, "after you left to go meet up with Kyle at the Lobby, I realized something. You know a few things about me, but I don't know anything about you. I said that I wanted to trust you, so I want to. I want to know you a bit better, Mihael so if I joined you on your rounds, we could talk and get to know each other better."

That made sense. While I did know a few things about Roxanne as she told me a few things about her, she knew nothing about me. I knew that she owned her own attraction, played the keytar, and had been bullied a lot for years, she knew nothing about my past, my hobbies, or even my interests. Come to think of it, me and Roxanne knew nothing about each other's interests, past, or hobbies.

I mentally sighed. I made my decision. While I was worried about all those people jumping to conclusions, it would be nice to get to know a bit about each other. It was probably stupid, but it was a risk I was now willing to take. Besides, I really wanted Roxanne Wolf to trust me so that only strengthened my resolve.

I smiled. "Sure, you can join me."

Her tail was wagging so fast that it was nothing but a blur and her smile grew. She released my hand and began clapping her hands rapidly. My smile grew seeing her reaction.

"Thank you so much!" Roxanne exclaimed very happily before she calmed down enough. "Come on, then. Let's go!"

She walked over to the door and swung it open. She turned to me and gestured for me to go first, just like I did for her earlier. I rolled my eyes with my smile now as a smirk as I walked out of the room. She followed after me, closing the door behind her. With her close behind me, I began my rounds, the smirk still plastered on my face.

We entered Rockstar Row to check to see if everything was alright. We ignored the looks people gave us along the way. To make it clear from the get-go, they weren't nasty looks that people were giving us. To my intense relief, the looks were more of a curious nature. That was good because I didn't want Roxanne to catch sight of people giving us nasty looks. That wouldn't have looked too good.

For the entire walk to Rockstar Row, we didn't say anything to each other, just doing the rounds in silence. I would occasionally turn to see her giving me a goofy smile, her tail wagging happily. I smiled at her and turned my attention away to see where I was going and prevent myself from bumping into anything. I was wondering when she was going to say anything and ask me questions regarding myself, but I figured that since there were people around, she wanted to wait for us to be alone so she could ask me questions, which I understood.

I stopped in my tracks next to the golden statue of Roxanne and began checking the security cameras on my Faz-Watch to check up on the other rooms. I heard Roxanne stop beside me, but I didn't check to see how close she was. I didn't know whether she was looking over my shoulder to see what I was doing, but I imagined that she was. In the cameras, I saw Freddy, Chica, and Montgomery in different attractions; Freddy in some laser tag arena, Chica in some fitness area, and Montgomery at a golf course, entertaining the kids.

I found the scenes to be very cute as it was nice to see all the kids having a lot of fun and making good memories with the mascots. Being able to have a fun time without the fear of something very terrible or tragic happening is something that gives off a feeling of freedom and ease. I wish I had something like that, but I refused to allow myself to become jealous. To get bitter and jealous over something that the kids were privileged to have that I didn't get the privilege to have back then would be wrong and disgusting of me.

"Seems like everyone is having fun," I heard Roxanne say beside me. I looked to see her looking over my shoulder, possibly watching me check the cameras on the Faz-Watch. She didn't have that goofy smile on her face; the smile was warm and friendly.

I smiled. "Yep, and everyone is safe. That's all that matters."

"You care a lot about the kid's safety, huh?" she asked.

"More than a lot," I replied, nodding my head. "I want to make sure that what happened 10 years ago doesn't happen again. No one deserves to go through that. No one…"

I looked down at the floor, remembering one of the reasons why I took this job, to begin with. Keeping the kids safe was one of them with the other being to find out what happened to the kids that went missing. I mentally kicked myself for forgetting the second reason.

I was both upset and disgusted at myself. To forget about one of the most important reasons for me being here was abominable. I got caught up on everything and thinking about Roxanne's reasoning for doing what she did that it just slipped my mind. What kind of person was I?

"Mihael?" I was snapped out of my thoughts at the sound of my name. I looked to see Roxanne looking at me with slight concern.

"Yes, Roxanne?" I replied, slightly dazed.

"Are you okay?" she asked. I thought it over for a moment. I wasn't okay, but I wasn't going to tell her that.

"Yeah, I'm fine, Roxanne," I replied simply. I then became curious about the question. "Why do you ask?"

"Well, you seemed upset about something and I just wanted to know if you were okay," she replied. "What upset you?"

I felt my heart drop. I didn't want to tell her that I remembered one of my reasons for getting the job. It wasn't that I didn't trust her. It was more out of fear of what would happen if Roxanne got involved. I couldn't imagine the amount of trouble that she could get into if I told her anything. All it took was one wrong move and it would be over for her.

While I did appreciate her concern for me, I still wasn't going to tell her anything. It was for her own safety.

"Don't worry about it," I replied softly. "It's nothing."

Roxanne didn't seem to buy it as she became upset. "Mihael, something upset you and I really want to help. You comforted me when I became upset. I want to do the same for you." She walked in front of me and then cupped my right hand in both of hers. "You can tell me."

I felt conflicted. She was repeating the same thing I did whenever I edged her on to tell me something. As much as I really wanted to tell her, I couldn't risk her safety. It was going to upset her, but I had to do what I had to do.

I smiled weakly at her. "Roxanne, I really appreciate you wanting to help me, but I can't tell you."

"Why not?" she asked, clearly upset. "Don't you trust me?"

That question was like getting hit in the face with a brick. It was upsetting to see that she thought that my avoiding the question was a sign that I didn't trust her. That really wasn't the case at all, and I had to enforce that I wasn't going to her. This was for her own good and safety.

"Roxanne," I began to say, "I do trust you, but what I was thinking about earlier was something very, very personal. If I told you what I was thinking, you might get involved and it'll land you into trouble. I can't have that. I promise that I will tell you, but right now, for the time being, I can't tell you."

She looked at me with the most disheartened expression on her face. I felt bad for refusing to tell her, but again, it was both for her own good and safety. The thought of something happening to her if she knew anything was very frightening and I wasn't going to risk anything bad happening to her.

"Okay," she said, her tone sad. She let go of my hand and looked down at the floor.

I wasn't going to let Roxanne sulk like that. I checked to see that we were alone and when I saw that we were, I decided that now was the time to get to know her. That was the whole reason she asked to join me on my rounds.

"But let's forget about it," I said. "Why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself."

She looked at me and smiled weakly. I think she appreciated that I was trying to change the sad subject to something that was inevitable to happen to begin with. I was grateful to see that she was smiling at me at least.

"Well," she began slowly, "I love to play my keytar in my free time and racing on my raceway. Whenever I'm not hanging in my green room, I like to hang out with my friends and have girl's night with Chica."

I nodded. "That's pretty cool. Do you have any other hobbies besides playing the keytar and racing?"

She went into deep thought, clearly thinking about her answer to the question very carefully. I waited very patiently for her answer to the question. I wasn't going to rush her as that would be considered very rude.

"Well," she began, "I participate in golfing and laser tag, though I don't have the best luck in golf. Monty still hasn't gotten over that one time I smashed a golf club when I got frustrated during that one game night, breaking it in half. I'm good at laser tag. It's my second favorite aside from racing."

I nodded, satisfied with the answer.

"Well enough about me, it's your turn," she said. "Tell me a little about yourself."

I smiled at this. I had a lot to tell her, and there was so much. I didn't want to overwhelm the poor wolf, so I was going to tell her the basics.

"Well," I began, "I was born and raised here in Hurricane, which is the small town the Pizzaplex is located in. I graduated from Hurricane High School when I was 17 and moved into a small neighborhood outside of town at the age of 22."

She nodded her head, seeming to accept my response.

"What about any hobbies?" she asked. I smiled at the question. That was a question I could answer easily.

"My favorites are reading and listening to music when I feel the need to," I replied.

"That's cool," she said, nodding at my response. Then, she beamed as if she had thought of another question. "Do you like racing?"

I felt my heart drop at the question. As much as I wanted to tell her the truth, I didn't want to hurt her feelings. I really didn't want to tell Roxanne that I didn't like racing, due to me seeing the sport as something stupid and reckless. The truth would break her robotic heart if I told her. She might even avoid me if I told her.

I kept the smile on my face, not wanting her to know what I was truly feeling. "I think it's a pretty cool sport. My father, Harold Patel, was a huge fan of auto racing and watched it on TV all the time."

To this, Roxanne beamed more brightly. I did regret lying to the wolf about me liking it, but I did give some truth about my father being a huge fan of auto racing. At least tell her that made her extremely happy and that's all that counted.

"I'm so happy you think so!" she exclaimed happily. "I can't wait for you to try racing on my raceway for game night!"

I wasn't thrilled to hear that, but I didn't show it. I was planning on objecting to that, but since I lied to her about how I liked racing to spare her feelings, I was going to give it a try. I could only hope that nothing bad was going to happen to me, Roxanne, or any of her best friends on the raceway tonight.

"I can't wait to try it out too!" I exclaimed, trying very my best to sound enthusiastic. I hoped that she would buy it.

Thankfully, it seemed like she did. She began clapping her hands very excitedly and her tail was wagging so fast that it was a blur. Then, she did something I wasn't expecting. As Roxanne Wolf was clapping her hands, she was doing these little hops that I've seen people do when they got excited.

I was taken by surprise at this. I didn't see Roxanne as someone that would do something like that. I guess that she's revealing more of her true self, maybe even some part of her that others didn't know about. To be honest, I found her acting like that to be really cute.

Roxanne eventually stopped and began to calm down. She looked at me sheepishly and if she were real, I had no doubt that the wolf would be blushing red at that very moment.

"Sorry, I don't know what came over me," she said.

"It's okay, Roxanne," I said. "You just got very excited. There's nothing wrong with that."

"I know, but it's not like me to behave like that," she said. "Please don't tell anyone. It'll be embarrassing."

"My lips are sealed," I said and did the little motion of zipping my lips closed, which got Roxanne to chuckle lightly. Her light chuckle stopped and we stared at each other for a moment.

At first, none of us did anything. Then, as with the flick of a light switch, a sudden expression of realization came across her face. I had no idea what was going on, so I became curious. Just before I could even ask her anything, I watched Roxanne's expression suddenly turned into one of great horror, gasping as she did.

"Oh no!" she cried.

"What? What is it?" I asked, concerned that something happened while we were distracted. I hoped that someone hadn't got hurt or even worse than that, a kid had gone missing.

"I have to get back to my raceway!" she replied. "I wasn't paying any attention to the time and now, the kids must be wondering where I am!"

"I think you better get going," I urged. I was secretly relieved that nothing bad had happened and it was just related to the time.

"Thank you so much for letting me join you on your rounds for a short time," she said.

Then, Roxanne did something totally unexpected. She leaned over and planted her purple lips right on my left cheek, mimicking the sound of kissing. I tensed up as this happened, my heart skipping a beat.

"See you for game night, Mihael!" Roxanne said before the wolf mascot ran out of Rockstar Row to get to her raceway.

I was frozen, shocked at what just happened. I softly rubbed the cheek that Roxanne had kissed me on. It took a moment for me to realize what she had just done and I couldn't help but smile.

Roxanne Wolf had just kissed me on the cheek.

Author's Note:

Here is the tenth chapter of the story! :D

I know I said that this chapter was going to have Mihael and the others participating in game night, but if I were to combine that with what I have here, then the chapter would've been extremely long. So long to the point that it would've been split into two parts. This is basically Part 1.

Also, I want to point this out right now. Chapters might take a bit longer than usual as I'm working on another project. I won't say much, but all I will say is that it will be connected to Robotic Love. ;)

That is all. Thank you guys so much for reading, all constructive criticism is appreciated and I will see you guys in Chapter Eleven, where the characters will have their game night! :)
