Chapter 2: Turbo Duel
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. I hope everyone's doing okay with this whole Corona virus thing. Man this story is off to a good start. I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.
It had been a week since Roxas met Yusei and his friends and they were treating him like one of the gang.
As Roxas was walking through Satellite having gotten some food for the guys he noticed something laying on the ground near the garbage.
Walking over to it Roxas picked it up revealing it to be a spell card, but it was different from the spells in his deck. "Speed Spell Summon Speeder? What are Speed Counters? Hmm maybe Yusei knows what's so special about this card." Roxas said pocketing it before walking down into the hangout where Blitz, Tank, and Nervin were watching something on a laptop. "Hey guys what you watching?"
"Oh hey Roxas." Tank said as Roxas looked on screen to see a man dressed in a white outfit with blonde hair summon a scary looking red dragon.
"Red Dragon Archfiend end this!" He said as his dragon attacked his opponent winning him the duel.
"Whoa, who is that?" Roxas asks.
"That's Jack Atlas, the Turbo Duelist Champion." Nervin said.
"He used to hangout with us." Blitz said confusing Roxas.
"Wait if he used to hangout with you guys then why is he in the city and you guys are still here?" Roxas asks.
"Because he stepped on us to get there." Roxas turns to see Yusei outside with his runner.
"Jack had a chance to go to the big leagues so he stole Yusei's first duel runner and ditched us to get it." Tank said.
"Doesn't sound like a good friend." Roxas said.
"He's not, so Yusei where were you?" Nervin asks
"In the tunnels testing the new accelerator." Yusei said.
"Guess it didn't work that well." Blitz assumes.
"Hey Yusei, I wanted to ask you something." Roxas said taking out the Speed Spell he found. "You know what this is?"
Yusei reaches out and examines it. "Yeah, it's a Speed Spell. These are special cards that can only be used in Turbo Duels. Where'd you find this?"
"Just laying on the ground. What's a Turbo Duel?" Roxas asks.
"It's a special kind of dueling where you have to race on Duel Runners and you can't use Normal Spells, only Speed Spells." Yusei reaches to his Deck Box and pulls out one. "Like this."
"Speed Spell Silver Contrails." Roxas read before holding it back for Yusei.
"Keep it, I've got an extra. Now you can start your own Turbo Deck." Yusei said.
"Thanks Yusei." Roxas said taking out his deck and put the cards in for his Turbo Deck.
"Hey Yusei!" Rally said running in.
"Hey Rally." Nervin said.
"Oh you guys are here too?" Rally said.
"What's the rush?" Roxas asks as Rally ran to Yusei.
"Check it out." Rally said taking out an Acceleration Chip.
"Wait a minute. This is brand new, isn't it?" Blitz asks examining it.
"No it's not. I found it with some junk." Rally said acting innocent.
"Rally have you been stealing again?" Roxas glares.
"If they saw you they'll track you with that and mark all of us." Blitz warns.
"Guys, lay off. Rally can I see it?" Yusei asks as Rally hands the chip to him.
"So wait if Jack took your first runner, then why are trying to build this one?" Roxas asks.
"You see Roxas, Jack took another thing of Yusei's too, his ace monster. Yusei needs this runner to go to Domino City and get it back." Rally explains.
"But even so, is it really worth all this?" Roxas asks.
"Roxas has a point. Maybe you should let it go." Tank suggests.
"No card is worth losing your freedom." Blitz agrees when Yusei puts the chip in and the engine roars as he revs it.
"Whoa." Roxas said impressed.
"See I told you. Let's take it for a test run." Rally said when a light shined down from the ceiling and they heard a helicopter.
"What's going on?!" Roxas asks.
"It's Sector Security!" Nervin gasps.
"Verification Number AWX-86007 Rally Dawson, you are in possession of stolen goods surrender yourself immediately! As long as you have that marker you cannot escape!"
"Rally what is wrong with you?! Why can't you stop stealing?!" Roxas snaps.
"I'm sorry, I found it at the plant but I only took it because I wanted Yusei to beat Jack." Rally said.
"Even so now we're all in trouble." Blitz said.
"As long as Rally has that marker none of us are safe." Tank said.
"I'm on it." Yusei said typing on his laptop. "I've jammed their signal. I'll lead Sector Security away while you guys sneak out back."
Revving the engine, Yusei raced out the west tunnel causing Sector Security to chase after him.
Running out back, Roxas, Rally, Nervin, Tank and Blitz looked around.
"Okay coast is clear." Nervin said as they ran out when one security guy on a runner spotted them.
"Halt!" He yells causing them to panic.
"Run guys!" Rally said as they ran for their lives down the street.
Running to a fork in the path, Blitz, Tank and Nervin went down one while Roxas and Rally went down another as the Security guy chased after Roxas and Rally.
"Rally what would it take for you to stop stealing?!" Roxas asks.
"Is now really the time for the blame game?"! Rally asks as Sector Security was gaining on them.
"I have the culprit in my sight." He said.
Roxas looks up to see some metal pipes hanging above them. Jumping up Roxas swings on one before swinging back and kicked the Security officer off his runner.
"What the?" Rally looks to see Roxas take the guys' helmet off him and put it on his head. "Well look who's stealing now." Rally smirks.
"Shut up and get on." Roxas said as Rally wrapped his arms around Roxas and they raced down the street.
Unfortunately for them, they didn't notice another Sector Security person gaining on them.
Flipping the siren, the security raced alongside them.
"Pull over! You are driving property of Sector Security!" The person said revealing to be female.
"Sorry we need this more!" Roxas said turning a corner but ended up turning to a dead end. "Uh oh."
"I should have know I'd be the one to catch you, Rally." The woman said getting off her runner as Rally clung to Roxas in fear.
"You know her Rally?" Roxas asks.
"She's the one who caught me the first time I stole and marked me. The most dangerous woman in Sector Security. She's never failed to catch someone, The Dragon Lady." Rally said as the woman took off her helmet to reveal a woman with black hair. "Fa Mulan."
Roxas' eyes widen in shock seeing another version of her in this world.
"Rally your stealing days are over. Give me the chip and the runner and turn yourselves in and I might get your sentence lowered." Mulan glares.
Looking at the fear on Rally's face Roxas turns to Mulan as she made her way towards them.
"Wait. Duel me." Roxas declares. "If I win you forget this night ever happened and if you win you can arrest the both of us."
"Satellites aren't supposed to even have cards." Mulan narrows her eyes.
"Well look what I have." Roxas said taking out his deck.
"Fine, but if I win you have to tell me everyone else that was involved in this. I know there are others." Mulan said putting her helmet back on.
"Roxas are you sure? Do you even have any Speed Spells in that deck?" Rally asks.
"Yeah…two." Roxas said causing Rally to gulp not liking their chances.
Lining up against each other Mulan clicked a button on her runner. "Speed World activated. Autopilot standing by." Around them the whole area turned a different color.
"Duel!" Roxas and Mulan said racing along the path.
Roxas: 4000 SC: 0
Mulan: 4000 SC: 0
"I'll go first." Mulan drew. "I summon Dragunity Tribus in Defense mode!" Appearing on her field was a winged warrior.
Dragunity Tribus: 500/ 300
"And thanks to its ability I can send one Level 3 or lower Dragon-Type monster from my deck to the graveyard. Finally I'll end my turn with two facedowns."
Roxas: 4000 SC: 1
Mulan: 4000 SC: 1
"My Turn." Roxas drew and saw his hand was monsters and traps. "I summon Six Samurai Irou in attack mode!" Appearing next to him the purple armored samurai appeared.
Irou: 1700/ 1200
"Attack!" Racing in Irou sliced Tribus in half destroying it. "And I'll end my turn with one face down."
Roxas: 4000 SC: 2
Mulan: 4000 SC: 2
"Alright time to fight back." Mulan drew. "I activate the Speed Spell Reload! When I have 1 or more Speed Counters, I can shuffle my hand and draw a new one." Mulan said as she drew new cards. "Next I summon Dragunity Dux in attack mode!" Flying next to her was a tribal warrior with black wings.
Dragunity Dux: 1500/ 1000
"And thanks to his special ability I can summon one Dragon-type monster from my graveyard and equip it to Dux. Say hello to Dragunity Phalanx!" Appearing on the field was a small blue dragon that equipped to Dux.
Phalanx: 500/ 1100
"And thanks to Dux's special ability he gets 200 attack points for every Dragunity monster on the field.
Dux: 1900/ 1000
"Now attack his Samurai!"
"I activate Draining Shield! Sorry but now your Monster's attack points go right to my lifepoints." Roxas said revealing his trap.
"Nice move, too bad I have a trap too. Go Trap Jammer!" Mulan said revealing her trap.
"Oh no, not good." Rally said.
"You be it isn't. Now my Dragunity can go right for your Samurai!" Mulan said as Dux flew in and destroyed Irou.
Roxas: 3800 SC: 2
Mulan: 4000 SC: 2
"She saw right through my plan and stopped me." Roxas cringed.
"You criminals think you can pull one over on me? Not a chance." Mulan said racing ahead.

Mulan: 4000 SC: 3
"My turn." Roxas drew and smiles seeing what he got. "I summon Six Samurai Kamon in attack mode!" Appearing on his field was a purple armored Samurai with two large clubs.
Shinai: 1500/ 1500
"And since I have him out I can summon Legendary Six Samurai Mizuho!" Appearing next to him was a female samurai in red armor.
Mizuho: 1600/ 1000
"And thanks to her special ability I can sacrifice one Six Samurai on my side of the field to destroy one card. Like you Dragunity Dux." Roxas points as Shinai glowed red before and charged destroying Dux.
"My dragons!" Mulan gasps.
"And now you're wide open! Mizuho attack!" Roxas said as Mizuho raced in and slashes Mulan.
Roxas: 3800 SC: 3
Mulan: 2400 SC: 2
"That was for locking up Rally." Roxas smirks racing ahead.
"Nah nah." Rally teases causing Mulan to growl as she drew.

Mulan: 2400 SC: 3
"I summon Card Trooper in attack mode!" On Mulan's field a small red robot appeared.
Card Trooper: 400/ 400
"What kind of card is that? It barely has any points." Roxas asks.
"Never underestimate a monster. I activate my Card Trooper's special effect, by sending 3 cards from my deck to the graveyard his attack points go up by 500." Mulan said as Card Trooper glowed.
Card Trooper: 1900/ 400
"Uh oh." Rally gulps.
"And I'm not done yet. I activate my facedown card. Go Call of the Haunted! With it I'm gonna summon one of the cards I just discarded. I summon Dragunity Arma Mysteltainn!" Letting out a fierce roar Roxas saw a large yellow armored dragon with a sword appear.
Dragunity Arma Mysteltainn: 2100/ 1500
"And thanks to his ability, when my dragon is summoned I can equip it with a dragon type from my graveyard. Like my Dragunity Phanlanx!" Mulan said as her Phalanx equipped onto another dragon.
"Card Trooper attack Mizuho!" Mulan said as Card Trooper blasted Mizuho.
Roxas: 3600 SC: 4
Mulan: 2400 SC: 3
"Now Arma Mysteltainn attack with Dragon Blade!" Mulan said as her dragon flew in.
"Brace yourself Rally!" Roxas said as her dragon slashes him.
Roxas: 1500 SC: 2
Mulan: 2400 SC: 3
"Sorry boys, but this where I pull ahead. Next I activate Phalanx's special ability. Once per turn I can unequip it and summon it to the field." Mulan smirks summoning her monster in defense mode gaining the lead.
"Roxas are you okay?" Rally asks.
"I'll be fine." Roxas drew and saw he drew the Speed Spell he found earlier.
Roxas: 1500 SC: 3
Mulan: 2400 SC: 4
"Time to play one of my own Speed Spells. Go Summon Speeder! When I have 2 or more Speed Counters I can summon a Level 4 or below monster. Go Six Samurai Zanji!" Roxas said as the orange samurai appeared.
Zanji: 1800/ 1200
"Next I summon Six Samurai Kagemusha!" Roxas said calling out his tuner monster.
Kagemusha: 400/ 1800
"Now I tune Kagemusha with Zanji in order to summon Mighty Warrior!" Roxas said calling out the large muscular warrior.
Mighty Warrior: 2200/ 2000
"Take out her Arma Mysteltainn with Steel Hand Crusher!" Roxas said as Mighty Warrior punched Arma Mysteltainn destroying it. "And thanks to his ability half of your monster's attack points come out of your life points!"
Blasts rain down on Mulan causing her to growl as she and Roxas were neck and neck.
Roxas: 1500 SC: 3
Mulan: 1250 SC: 3
Looking over she saw Roxas looking over. "Didn't see that coming." Mulan admits.
"Why don't you just give up now. None of your cards can beat my Warrior." Roxas said.
"Not happening." Mulan glares.
"I end my turn with one card facedown." Roxas said.
Roxas: 1500 SC: 3
Mulan: 1250 SC: 3
"My turn." Mulan drew. "You see the thing about dragons is they can always find a way to fight through the toughest opponents. I summon Dragunity Legoniaire!"
Dragunity Legoniaire: 1200/ 800
"Now it's my turn! I tune Dragunity Phalanx with Dragunity Legonaire and Card Trooper in order to Synchro Summon Dragunity Barcha!" Mulan said as a red dragon appeared on her side of the field.
Dragunity Vajrayana: 2000/ 1200
"You can Synchro Summon too?" Roxas said surprised.
"You bet I can and thanks to Card Trooper's effect I can draw one card. Now I activate Barcha's special effect I can select any number of Dragunnity and equip to my monster and he gets 300 points for each one and I have 3!" Mulan said taking out Phalanx, Dux, and Tribus.
Barcha: 2900/ 1200
"You put up a good fight, but I always catch the crooks in the end. Go Barcha attack with Raging Fire!" Mulan declares as Vajrayana breathed a powerful fire attack at Mighty Warrior.
"I activate my facedown card Defense Draw! My monster may be destroyed but thanks to this I take no damage and I get to draw a card." Roxas said as he drew a card.
"Even so you're gonna need more than that to win. I end my turn with one facedown." Mulan said.
Roxas: 1500 SC: 4
Mulan: 1250 SC: 4
"My turn." Roxas drew and smiles softly seeing it was the card Yusei gave him. "Thanks Yusei, I owe ya one."
Rally looks at Roxas's confident grin and got interested.
"I summon Legendary Six Samurai Kageki!" Roxas said as a 4-armed Samurai Warrior appeared. "And thanks to his ability I can summon Six Samurai Yariza!" Appearing next to him was a blue armored samurai warrior.
Six Samurai Yariza: 1000/ 500
Legendary Six Samurai Kageki: 1700/ 2000
"I think you need to check your field because your monsters don't match up to my dragon." Mulan said. 'And even if he plays a card that can my facedown card Blast with Chain will equip to my dragon and by destroying I can take out one of his monsters.' Mulan smirks.
"I play the Speed Spell Silver Contrails! By removing one Speed Counter I can raise Yariza's attack points by 1000." Roxas said.
Yariza: 2000/ 500
"And that's not all thanks to his special ability when I have another Samurai he can attack your lifepoints directly!" Roxas said causing her eyes to widen.
"What? No that means my facedown is useless." Mulan said in shock.
"Yariza attack Mulan with Typhoon Strike!" Roxas said as Yariza sprints past her dragon and slashes Mulan causing her to scream as the brakes slammed on her runner making her come to a stop.
Roxas: 1500 SC: 3
Mulan: 0000
Mulan groans in anger as she took her helmet off only to see Roxas pull up next to her.
"Now you remember our deal. You lost so we go free." Roxas said.
"There goes my perfect record." Mulan growls.
"See round Dragon Lady. Let's get outta here Roxas." Rally said as they raced off.
"Roxas…I'll get you for this." Mulan glares.
Back at the hideout, Yusei, Blitz, Tank and Nervin met.
"You guys don't think Rally and Roxas got captured, do you?" Nervin asks.
"I hope not." Tank gulps when they heard a siren approaching causing them to panic as security runner raced in.
"Hey guys. Like my new ride?" Roxas asks taking off the helmet.
"Pretty neat huh?" Rally asks.
"Uh yeah. Roxas how did you get your hands on this?" Blitz asks.
"Won it off the Dragon Lady." Roxas said causing Yusei to whistle impressed.
"How'd you do it?" Yusei asks.
"It was all thanks to the card you gave me. I wouldn't have been able to won without it." Roxas smiles.
"Check it out guys, now we have two Duel Runners." Rally said.
As everyone gathered around Roxas's new runner Yusei walks up to Roxas. "Hey Roxas, you think you can help me out with something?"
"Sure what?" Roxas asks.
"You and me are going to Neo Domino City." Yusei declares.
