Her Imortal Magesty, Queen Elizabeth, sat upon her throne in the Great coastal city of London.

Much was on her mind, far too much for a mortal mind. Images of countless past lives flashed through her mind... Conquest, diplomacies, victories, losses, trade agreements, friends, enemies, civil collapse...

She closed her eyes and mentally shook her head, forcing herself to focus. To lead her people to victory in this brave new world, she must now focus on her beloved city of London.

The city was in it's infancy. Although the river just to the west provided a natural barrier against the never-ending barbarians, her warriors struggled to hold the line between them and the precious workers working the fertile lands to the east. She knew she had to strengthen her forces soon to secure her borders, but she had made a gambit in her priorities. She had invested in a small ship and crew to explore the coast, and she had ordered a grand project of construction. One that the people wouldn't understand yet, but her past lives whispered it's vitality of in her dreams.

The doors to the palace opened and a runner came through, bowing low before her.

"Your majesty!" He exclaimed with barley repressed excitement. "As you have ordered I came at first sighting of the TRIMININE? She approaches from the west!"

This greatly pleased the Queen, although her face remained neutral she stood up at the news. Everyone present bowed low.

"How fares the visage of the vessel?" She inquired.

"Poorly my queen! But still seaworthy. She will be docking by this time surly!"

For the first time in a long time the queen descended down the stairs of the throne. Several aids gasped and the guards hastened to her sides.

"Prepair my personal guard! Send word ahead to Captain Nelson. I will see to him and his command at once!"

The queen surveyed her small kingdom as they walked to the docks. Villagers stopping to pay respects to the queen, a once in a generation sighting. Sheep and farmland expanded out of mortal eyesight to the east, and in the distance a towering structure known only as "The Lighthouse" was under construction. The populace wondered why such a costly structure was necessary as barbarians raided their lands, but the Queen knew from previous lives the eventual necessity of it. She would make it up to them soon enough.

The ship was a mess indeed. Mast broken, bow crumpled in but already repairs were underway to bring her back to health. The runner had warned the Captain of the queen's arrival and he hastened to bow before her now. He looked as well off as his ship, but with a newfound pride. The crowd gathered in bated breath to witness the historical exchange.

"Report." She demanded. She wasn't loud, but the weight of the order carried her word to all.

"My queen, as you ordered I have navigated around our continent. Up our eastern coast I have found prime lands to settle with a river and mountains. Further north, at the opposite end of the continent is another kingdom. They call themselves Spaniards though I could not meet their ruler, and they would not let us make repairs.

To the west side of the continent lies an independent city named Tyre. They request aid in defeating barbarians plaging their lands, I suspect the same barbarians that harass us my liege. We faught several of their ships before arriving home and have been victorious!"

His report complete, captain Nelson remained bowed. Elizabeth smiled, a rarity, and from the folds of her dress drew her ceremonial sword. The crowed gasped at this yet-unheard-of ritual, but did not move to intervene. Raising her sword she touched both shoulders.

"By my royal decree, you are Captain Nelson no more! From henceforth you shall be known as Sir Nelson the first, Lord of the London Coast! You shall be given land and gold befitting of your station, and your decendants shall sail my future fleets. Arise and tend to your vessel Lord Nelson. Tomorrow there will be a celebration in your honor."

The crowd erupted in cheers as lord Horatio Nelson stood and the queen placed a hand on his shoulder. "You will take a Wife now lord Nelson. Have many children so that their descendants will give me rule of the sea forever."
