Chapter 2:

Class of 23:

It's another day at Westley School of Performing Arts, located in Atlanta, Georgia. Music Teacher Sunny Bridges was on his way to teaching his class. Though, for years, he has dreamt of being a big-time musician, he wouldn't trade his current job for anything. He greeted Principal Lopez and made his way.

...

"Okay kids, who's ready for some music," asks Sunny.

"I just got a question," says Lil' D, "you are way too good, Sunny. How come you're a music teacher when you could be famous?"

"I was never discovered," says Sunny, "but hey, that's on me for not trying that hard. That's life."

...

After class, it was the usual, Tamika getting mad, Phily Phil's things exploding, Madison... being Madison.

"Anyone thinkin' what I'm thinkin'," asks Lil' D.

"When you ask that, it makes me want to run away," says Kam.

"Then it's settled," says Lil' D, "we gotta get Sunny discovered!"

...

The kids tried to get someone to listen to Sunny's music, but no one wants to listen. Eddie even tried to bribe some people and Tamika tried to threaten some.

"Where are Eddie and Tamika," asks Lil' D.

"Running from the Police," says Kam.

"Ain't they just twelve... Never mind. Let's try that store."

"I would, but I think Eddie and Tamika are going to need a lawyer," says Kam as he leaves.

"That place smells like exploding apples and you know how I feel about exploding apples," says Madison, "but if the smell was burning pumpkins, then sure."

Madison leaves.

"I did not know," says Lil' D.

An energy beam surrounds Phily Phil.

"Apparently, I have to be abducted by aliens." Phily Phil leaves.

"So, I guess we're alone," says Kim, who has always had a crush on Lil' D.

"Great, you can try," says Lil' D, who has always been oblivious to Kim's crush.

"Great."

...

Lil' D continues to walk, while listening to Sunny's music, but then the bush shakes.

"What the..."

An arm grabs his player.

"Hey!"

Then the arm grabs him.

"Sorry about that," says the owner of the arm. It was a woman... I think.

"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh, thanks..."

"Petunia Squatenchowder and I think you're the one!"

"Well, I gotta go..."

"Wait, there is something you should see. You see that guy over there. That's Fantastic Luna, the biggest music producer. But he's pretty picky. Anyone who tries to get him to listen to their music, he usually makes 'disappear'. But I think you could be the one!"

"Really?"

"Well, I'm pretty sure you're the one, if not, I'll be sure to send out a search party for you."

Lil' D then walks over to Fantastic Luna.

"Hey, Mr. Luna, wanna hear my music teacher's music?"

"Sure."

"THE ONE!"

Fantastic Luna then listens to it.

...

At Sunny's house, there's a knock on the door. Sunny answers it.

"Sunny Bridges. I came all this way to meet you. You are my kind of man. I must have you!"

"Well, Sir, I'm flattered, but the thing is..."

"No, no, I figured it out the moment I said, 'I must have you'. I am Fantastic Luna."

"The big-time music producer?"

"Yes, and your music is fantastic!"

"For real?"

"Many have tried, but I just tell them to leave, and they run away crying. People tend to think I did something with them. Paranoid weirdos. Anyway, sign this contract and I will make you immortal."

"I don't know, I got this teaching job..."

"I understand, sometimes, I wonder what life would be like if I were a principal, and I make a terrible one. So, now that we got that settled..."

"Can I at least have time to think about it?"

"Very well, I will leave by jumping out that window."

"But I live on the top floor of an apartment..."

Luna then jumps out the window.

"I am in fantastic pain!"

Sunny has alot to think about.

...

"It was lucky Kam pointed out we were too young for jail," says Eddie.

"I could've run the place," says Tamika.

"Doesn't matter, because thanks to me and some sasquatch lady, Sunny's gonna be famous," says Lil' D.

"First of all, I think Eddie and Tamika almost becoming jail birds does matter," says Kim, "and second, really?"

"Yeah. I'm the man. The D stands for definite."

"You lied to me," says Madison, "you told me it stood for Denise."

Everyone looks at him.

"She meant to say... Dennis. Let's move on and pretend this part never happened."

"I just realized something," says Kam, "won't Sunny end up leaving us?"

Lil' D then stops and falls to the ground. "Awe Man, I didn't think this through."

"From what I learned," says Kim, "and trust me, I know this from experience. Sometimes, you don't always get what you want."

"What experience have you had," asks Lil' D.

"UUUUUUUUUmmmmmmmmm... that's not important, Denise."

"Got it. I don't ask questions, and you move on from that."

...

Everyone waits in their class for who knows what could happen.

"What if our new music teacher's too strict," says Eddie, "I might lose all ten fingers."

"Ten," says Phily Phil, "you are rich."

Then the teacher enters.

"Our new music teacher looks like Sunny," says Madison.

"It is me," says Sunny, "you can't get rid of me that easily. Now, let's crank this thang up!"

...

As they perform their music, Luna calls from outside the school.

"YOU ARE MAKING A BIG MISTAKE, Mr. Bridges! YOU WILL BE MINE!"

"Don't worry," says a woman, "if he loves you, he'll come back and if not, you'll find someone else."

"I have got to work on my wording."

The End
