Chapter 7 Explaining Izzy's awful accident to younger Jake

Jake's POV (2022)

As younger Jake, and I was in the living room while younger Cubby and my Cubby were watching YouTube, I started to explain about Izzy's awful accident that's going to happen in 2016 to him.

"So, in 2016 Izzy is going to be in an awful accident leading into being basically broken, and nearly dead." I told him.

"Let me explain this a little further, so stormy and Izzy will start to get into an argument, which will lead back into friendship but that won't work out until they start to argue again, which will mean to the part where stormy and starts to go on the platform first saying that she will be the first person to be on the platform. But this is where Izzy comes in and says that she will be the first person to be on the platform. But this is the part where you and Cubby along with Skully tell the girls to come back inside. Peter Pan comes in and has to be involved in this. Here comes the bad part. Cubby we'll go get the rope to help bring the girls up. But unfortunately, she didn't grab it on time as the Rope hit her back and she landed on the floor unconscious and bleeding out. Which lead to her being in a coma for two weeks." I explained to younger Jake a little further

"Oh my God, oh my God no!" Younger Jake screamed as he ran.

"Wait younger Jake there's more to what I'm about to say." I called him.

"I think you said enough." Younger Jake said as I caught up to him in the kitchen.

Izzy's POV (2013)

As I was in the middle of making lunch with the help of my teenage self, I turned around and saw that it was Jake who had tears coming down his cheek. I was about to ask him what was the matter until he ran to me and hugged my knee tightly.

"I don't want to lose you, I don't want to lose you, I don't want to lose you!" Jake repeatedly told me as I was stroking his cheek.

"Jake where is this coming from?" I asked.

"I think I know. Would you excuse me for a second?" Teenage Izzy excused herself as she went over to her Jake as she grabs him by the ear dragging him away.

Izzy's POV (2022)

Once I dragged my boyfriend by his ear outside of The Hideout and onto the beach, I finally let go of his ear.

"Jake, what has gotten into you? You are constantly scaring the boy." I told him.

"So? He needs to know how to protect you better." Jake said.

"Jake he's a 7-year-old boy. I think he already knows how to protect me. But what I don't get is that you keep explain them everything about me younger me and about what's going to happen to his Izzy." I exclaimed.

"Do you think I should grow a beard?" Jake asked.

"Should you..Wha?" I exclaimed.

"I am going to go back inside The Hideout and help younger Izzy to help calm younger self down." I told him.

"Jake, just keep the future information to yourself. Your younger self who is 7 doesn't want to hear anything. Because right now he is too scared to lose his Izzy. I know what you were trying to d." I said.

"What was I trying to do?" Jake wanted to know.

"You were trying to help your younger self-help prevent me from getting hurt and ending up in the hospital." I said.

"That's part of it." Jake said.

"Jake, are you trying to let your younger self prevent I'm being a couple?" I wanted to know.

"No. Izzy it's nothing like that. It's just that I hated the way you were in the hospital. Hooked up to monitors being in a coma for two weeks having a lot of surgeries. It's just too much. I don't want you to have another surgery again. Because... the kids cubby and I are you scared too lose you. Do you know what it was like for me to wait in the waiting room?" Jake asked.

"I bet it was hard." I answered.

"No Izzy, it was definitely hard. Cubby was there to help me though along with Skully. But the way I was feeling... I was feeling hurt and not myself. I thought I was going to lose you through every surgery you gotten over the years.

"I was so scared. 2012 Fractured toe, 2013, Your appendix got removed, 2016, fractured back major leg surgery, 2018 nodules removed, Last but not the least 2019 tonsils removed." Jake said as he listed all of the surgeries I had.

"When you were staying in the hospital throughout all of those surgeries, I just couldn't bear to lose you at all." Jake explained as I brought him into a tight hug while he was crying on my shoulder.

"Shh, it's okay, Jake." I told him.

"No, it's not okay. Now that my 7-year-old self knows everything that's going to happen in the future to you then I don't know what to do." Jake exclaimed.
