Prologue: The Last Stand

The battlefield was a vision of devastation. Smoke billowed into the sky, mingling with the remnants of shattered buildings and scorched earth. The air was thick with the scent of burning debris and the remnants of powerful Quirk clashes. At the heart of the chaos, three figures stood at the center of a cataclysmic confrontation.

Izuku Midoriya, the embodiment of unstoppable power, loomed over the scene, his body crackling with the residual energy of countless Quirks. His eyes, once full of hope and determination, now held an implacable resolve. Blood and sweat mingled on his face as he surveyed the wreckage left in his wake.

All Might and All For One, battered and bloodied, lay a few feet away, their forms barely recognizable beneath the bruises and wounds. Despite their dire condition, their eyes were filled with fierce determination. The alliance between the greatest hero and the most dangerous villain was an uneasy one, but one born out of desperation to stop Izuku's relentless march.

"All Might," Izuku said, his voice echoing through the devastation. "You've always been a symbol of hope and justice. Yet here you are, struggling to hold on."

All Might, struggling to lift his head, met Izuku's gaze with a mixture of pain and defiance. "Young Midoriya … this isn't you. This power, this destruction—it's consuming you. You're not thinking clearly."

Izuku's expression hardened. "I am thinking clearly. I've seen the way this world is, how it's torn apart by heroes and villains. I'm erasing all Quirks to create a new world, one where people can start fresh without the burden of power."

All For One, his voice a rasping whisper, interjected with a harsh laugh. "You think removing Quirks will end conflict? You're mistaken, Midoriya. The issues run deeper than mere abilities. You're fighting a losing battle against the very nature of humanity."

Izuku's gaze shifted to All For One, the remnants of his once-feared aura flickering. "You don't understand. I've lost too much to this endless cycle. My mother died because of this chaos. And someone I loved—" He hesitated, his voice catching as painful memories flashed across his mind. "They were taken from me by the very system I'm trying to dismantle. I can't let that suffering continue."

A flicker of pain crossed All Might's face. "We understand your pain, Izuku. But what you're doing is wrong. There are other ways to achieve peace. Ways that don't involve erasing everything and everyone who has a Quirk."

Izuku shook his head, his eyes unwavering. "I've tried every other way. Every path I took led to more conflict, more pain. I had to create Quirks just to combat the existing ones. I had to fight my way through the heroes and villains to make a difference. And now, I stand here, having defeated everyone who opposed me."

All For One, barely able to move, struggled to his knees. "You may have defeated us, but there will always be those who resist. Those who cling to their ideals, no matter how hopeless it seems. You're not just battling against individuals—you're battling against the very essence of human nature."

Izuku's gaze softened momentarily, a shadow of sadness crossing his features. "I know. I know that not everyone will agree with me. But I have to believe that this is the right path. A world without Quirks means a world where people can rebuild from the ground up, free from the influence of heroes and villains."

As he spoke, Izuku activated his Quirk Creation ability, drawing all the remaining Quirks into himself. The immense power surged through him, his body trembling under the weight of so many abilities. He gritted his teeth, the strain evident in his expression.

"Is this really what you want?" All Might's voice was barely audible. "To carry all this power alone? To live with the knowledge that you've erased everything you once fought for?"

Izuku looked down at his fallen foes, his face a mask of resolve. "Destruction is not my goal. I want you to move forward, to explore new horizons. To push the boundaries of technology and venture into space. I can't bear the burden of all these Quirks forever. I've spent years developing my dimension-traveling Quirk, and now, I'm leaving this world behind."

All For One's eyes narrowed, his voice a hoarse whisper. "And you believe that escaping to another dimension will bring you peace? You think that by running away, you'll find what you're looking for?"

Izuku took a deep breath, his gaze turning to the shimmering portal he had created. "I have to try. If I can't find peace here, then I'll search for it elsewhere. I'm too powerful now to stay in one place. My Quirk and the dimension-traveling ability I've developed will help me, time travel and death revival are beyond my control. I need to leave this world and find a place where I can start anew."

With a final, resolute look at the shattered world he was leaving behind, Izuku stepped into the portal. The fabric of reality twisted and warped around him, and the battlefield faded from view. As he vanished into the unknown, All Might and All For One were left in the silence of their defeat.

As the portal closed behind him, All Might struggled to stand, his voice filled with a mix of despair and determination. "Young midoriya, wherever you're going, I hope you find what you're searching for. But know that true peace isn't found in escaping—it's found in facing your demons and working toward a better future."

All For One, barely conscious, added with a bitter laugh. "You've won the battle, Midoriya, but the war for peace is far from over."

In the empty battlefield, the only sounds were the distant echoes of their last confrontation and the faint hope that perhaps, one day, Izuku would find the peace he so desperately sought.
