-[Ryota]-
As boring as it sounded, he spent the next few days reading up on the world and acclimating himself to his environment.
He had found out that U.A. High School had completed its entrance exam a few days earlier. He had no plans of attending the school but it helped him get a grip on what time period he was in.
Another thing he read up on was human anatomy. With his quirk being what it was, he couldn't simply assume that the human biology here was the same as what he knew.
The details become foggy and somewhat unclear once quirk factors are introduced into the study but fortunately there wasn't much difference in the average human anatomy from what he knew.
Looking in the mirror, his features morphed into green messy hair and eyes with freckles on his cheek.
Inspecting his face, he morphed again, this time his eye turning red and his hair spiky and blond. He mimicked a crazed look in the mirror before shifting back to his normal appearance.
Medium length hair that was split between black and white, somewhat pale skin and grey eyes. The earrings and necklace he wore were a symbol of status among their organization, signifying him as the next leader.
His grandfather, Ito, also wore the same jewelry, being the current leader.
Willing it, his face morphed to match that of his grandfather, getting it down to the last detail he could remember before shifting back.
He was making a mental catalogue of the many uses and applications of his quirk, wanting to explore the possibilities ahead of him.
'It's versatile enough that it's powerful.' He concluded.
He compared it to that of Kai Chisaki of the Shie Hassaikai. One would say that Overhaul is a better quirk than Biokinesis but he digressed, it was just as strong if not better in some situations.
He had read up on the other Yakuza groups around them, none of them ringing any bells other than the Shie Hassaikai.
The Yakuza group he was currently in was called the Kyodokai. They took part in drug trafficking, smuggling, protection business, money lending and the likes.
They had a few legal businesses that brought in more cash flow as well.
With the rise of heroes, the Yakuza have been forced into the shadows and are monitored constantly by the police and other similar forces.
Though they were previously a necessary force, they have been labeled as pure villainous organizations.
Ryota almost chuckled at the thought. 'All for one, Kai Chisaki, Shigaraki Tomura, All Might, Endeavor, Hawks…so many pieces roaming around this board.' He thought, a sinister smirk forming on his face.
Concealing it, he exited the room and made his way to the conference room where he always seemed to find his grandfather.
Unlike the other times, there were two people standing guard at the door, not allowing him entry.
"What's going on?" He asked them.
"I apologize but there is a meeting currently in session." One of them answered.
'Well it's called a conference room for a meeting.' He thought before, turning his attention back to the man.
"Do you have any idea what this meeting is about?" He asked, only for him to shake his head.
Frowning at that, he walked away. Having looked at the layout of the building previously, he made his way to the exit of the building.
It didn't take time for him to get there but he was stopped by a muscled man with scales running along his body.
"Move." Ryota said, in a blunt manner.
"I'm sorry but the boss said that you aren't allowed to leave." The man said, his eyes trained on him.
He hadn't initially been bothered about the order because there wasn't a need to go out at that moment but the time had passed.
"I said move." Ryota repeated.
This time, the man didn't respond, simply tensing himself, a testament to his predecessor's violent nature.
With his quirk, his entire body was malleable according to his own will, meaning that things like muscle strength and density were also within control.
As if sensing his intent, the man lunged forward. At the same time, Ryota stretched his hand forth, the limb elongating unnaturally.
"What!?" The man's surprised reaction told Ryota of his predecessor's lack of creativity in using the quirk.
'What kind of idiot was he?' Ryota couldn't help but wonder as the stretched arm wrapped around the man who struggled.
As the seconds passed, the struggles lessened until they stopped completely, the man falling unconscious.
'The human body consists of various hormones and pheromones. It's only a matter of stimulating the right ones to put him to sleep.' He thought, setting the man down by the door.
There was no one else around to witness this, allowing him to simply walk out the exit.
-[Ito Takahashi]-
In the conference room, a meeting was being held to discuss something of great urgency. Three men sat around the table whereas Ito himself sat at the head of the table.
"It seems like it's going to happen sooner than we thought." One of them, a high ranking member said.
"Tensions are high and the Matsuba gang were always looking for an opportunity to act against us. They've finally gotten an opportunity." Another man said.
The Matsuba gang were a rival Yakuza group that had been biting at their tail for a long while. It was no secret the two groups didn't like each other but neither could attack the other without good reason lest they risk harming their reputation.
For Yakuza, reputation is very important.
"The thugs Ryota fought were from the Matsuba group. With the young head's aggressive nature being known, they most likely targeted him to instigate conflict." The first man said.
"We're already past that. They claim that he killed two of theirs and are demanding compensation. Filthy scum." The third man cursed, gritting his teeth.
"We can't risk going to war with them. Not with the police trying to monitor us." Ito finally said.
"Boss? Are you saying that we should give into their claims?" The first man said, scandalized.
Ito frowned, snarling. "They dare ask for my grandson's head as compensation. Hell no! I just meant that we have to be subtle about this to deal with them quickly."
That seemed to relieve them for the moment until one of them spoke again. "What about the young head? I sincerely doubt that he'll be able to sit still."
Ito merely sighed. "I'll handle Ryota myself. I have Kento keeping watch to make sure he doesn't go out and make things worse."
At that moment, the doors burst open, causing all of them to turn to it.
"What is it?! Do you think you can just barge in like that?" Ito asked the new entry in a threatening manner.
The man had a mutant type quirk, evident by his tentacle-like hands. His face squeezed in fear at the boss's words.
"I'm so sorry boss but it's important." The man rushed out his words, wanting to get out of there quickly. "Kento was found unconscious and Ryota has disappeared!"
Dark looks were immediately etched on the faces of everyone in the room, Ito included.
'That child!' The man screamed internally.
-[Ryota]-
In an alley in the city, Ryota stood with an indifferent look, his hands in his pocket. Four men stood around him, sending threatening looks his way.
He raised a brow at them. "Who the hell are you?"
