"Finally. I'm so glad to no longer be stuck inside that room."
Today was the day Yuuki was finally allowed to leave the hospital since his body at last finished healing up.
Yuriko was accompanying him as the pair left his room.
"And I'm glad to see that you still seem to be in 'Top Gear', Tomari-san." She pleasedly tells her partner as the duo makes their way to the elevator at the end of the hall.
From there, they would reach the hospital's underground parking lot, where the disguised NEXTridorodon is being kept in, waiting for the two of them.
Making sure there was nobody else to eavesdrop on them, the cops start to talk amongst themselves about things related to their quest.
As they wait for the elevator, Yuuki turns to keep speaking with Yuriko, leaning his body against the wall and crossing his arms, while the rookie detective pressed the call button.
"Still… To think Lupin actually helped you fight the Roidmudes the other day, Yuriko..."
The female vigilante informed her partner and Krim of the events taking place at a local street as Kamen Rider Lupin and Tracer apparently 'teamed up' to face a trio of Reaper Legion's Roidmudes.
"To be honest, I'm still baffled over this, Tomari-san." Yuriko replies to Yuuki with a look of uncertainty. "I guess you're right about there really being more to Lupin than just another criminal we need to deal with. Especially considering how he paid you a visit just to return Flare and Vegas."
On the other hand, Yuuki has also informed his companions about the 'morality talk' he had with the Phantom Thief during a certain previous night.
But before the two could keep talking any further, a familiar voice interrupts the vigilante Kamen Riders as a certain person shows up.
"Oh, if it isn't the two of you. Detectives Tomari and Shijima."
Hmm?
The cops are greeted with the sudden appearance of Iida Tensei approaching them. Just like in Yuuki's case, the Turbo Hero was no longer wearing hospital clothes. But rather, some casual ones that he liked to use whenever he wasn't in his costume.
"Hello, Ingenium-san." Yuriko friendly greets the older man while Yuuki simply gives a simple nod to Iida. "I supposed you also happened to be discharged today from the hospital, right?"
"Yeah. What a coincidence, right? Not that I'm complaining. Better late than never." Tensei replies to them with a friendly smile. "Can't stay here for too long. Or else, my body will lose its touch."
"I suppose." Yuuki agrees with him as the Pro Hero observes how different both police detectives now look in comparison to when he first met them.
Yuuki in his suit and Yuriko in her uniform…
"It's too bad the villains don't take a break. Do you also have a lot of work already waiting for you?" The veteran cop asks the Turbo Hero while adjusting his tie.
"Yeah, you could say that. There's no time to rest since things have been becoming more chaotic lately. Not just because of Stain's attacks and the recent rise in criminal activity. But people are becoming panicked because of the [Slowdown] Quirk." Tensei replies to Yuuki.
"Right. And there have been several reports that not just Stain, but Judge has also been spotted at Hosu City." Yuriko comments. "People there are beginning to panic since there are confirmed cases of [Slowdown], followed by murders, there."
At the mention of the city, Tensei's expression suddenly shifts into one of concern. If he remembers it right, Hosu is where his brother Tenya is currently having his Hero Internship with the Normal Hero: Manual from the Hosu City Office. He remembers that the last talk the two of them had was to help his brother come up with his hero name.
"You know, if I really did end up getting crippled by Stain and the others, I was totally prepared to give you my hero name," Tensei said, much to Tenya's shock. "Probably would've been pretty likely in the first place if he wasn't interrupted by Judge."
"But I couldn't-" Tenya began to say.
"I know. Which is why I'm ready to help you come up with your own," Tensei said, smiling to his brother. "After all, if I'm gonna be here for a while, why not spend it brainstorming with you? How about Ingenium 2.0?"
"Tensei, that's-"
"I know, it's a joke," Tensei laughed. "But for real, I think a good name for you would be-"
Due to being hospitalized after his encounter with Stain, Judge and Mashin Chaser, Tenya could not intern with his Tensei at the Team Idaten Hero Agency. The younger Iida had to find another Pro Hero to gain experience, with Manual being the person Tenya chose in the end.
But Tensei couldn't help but suspect that there was a particular reason behind his brother's decision.
'Please, Tenya. Whatever you're thinking about, do not go after either Stain or Judge.' Tensei mentally prays.
Heroes are supposed to fight for peace and to protect people. And not for the sake of revenge.
Tensei would never wish Tenya to go down such a road. Especially considering how dangerous the new Villains he is going after are. They are different from the usual ones he dealt with over the years.
"Ingenium-san? Hey."
Yuriko calls him as the Pro Hero snaps out of his thoughts.
"Oh! Huh?"
"Are you okay?" The woman asks the Turbo Hero while Yuuki merely raises an eyebrow at the other man.
"Seems like you really have a lot on your plate, huh?" The male detective speaks with a look of understanding, deciding to not press any further.
"Y-Yeah…" Tensei confirms, trying to look reassured.
"..." But neither Yuuki nor Yuriko fell for that as they remained quiet for an instant, studying the older man.
*Beep!*
Before any of them could speak, a beep sound rings, signaling that the elevator finally arrived at their floor.
*Clank~*
And as the door opens, a certain figure steps out of it: It's the same mysterious man that observed Yuriko working on the last Roimude-related incident, the current owner of the Signal Chaser Signal Bike.
"..." While this unknown man simply ignores Yuriko and Tensei, he briefly looks at Yuuki, right into the detective's silver-gray eyes.
Noticing this, the veteran detective looks back at the mysterious person as both exchange quick looks with each other before the new individual disappears from their sight after entering a patient's room, closing the door behind him.
"What was that?" Tensei decides to ask as he and Yuriko were a bit weirded out by what just happened.
"Beats me. Never saw the guy before." Yuuki calmly explains with a light shrug.
Sometimes random events like this tend to happen as two 'unrelated' people may unconsciously 'interact' with each other.
Of course, that wouldn't be the case if Tensei, Yuuki and Yuriko actually knew who was the man that just passed by them...
But, none the wiser, the trio simply gets inside the elevator as they leave the current floor of the hospital.
With the mysterious man…
Inside of another patient's room
It was just a coincidence for this ravenette man that he ended up stumbling upon Ingenium and the pair of disguised cop Kamen Riders. He mainly came to this hospital today in order to pay a visit to a certain someone important to him.
"..." The man quietly places the flowers he brought alongside, as a gift, inside of a purple vase resting next to the patient's bed.
They were red Lycoris. In flower language, they symbolize death and reincarnation.
"You always liked them, didn't you?" The man speaks fondly, as if talking to someone about the crimson flowers, before he turns to face this room's patient.
But she cannot talk back to him…
After all, she is in a deep coma.
Connected to several machines keeping her body alive, a 23 Years Old brunette woman with long hair is resting on the bed. Her eyes were closed as she showed no signs of waking up any time soon.
This sight seemed to bring grief to the man as he picked a chair to sit next to the unconscious woman.
"I have finally made my decision, Miho." The man says softly as he pulls out the Break Gunner and shows it to the bedridden woman. "This is the path I must take in order to move on."
"..."
"The way things are right now… The Roidmudes aren't the only thing I will have to deal with. This damn society… Not just the Villains, but everyone else in it as well. It's because of all of them that you ended like this."
"..."
"You would probably beg me not to do this. To try to forgive them… But I can't, Miho. Not anymore. But I really really tried before. However, I finally reached my limit now. I can't endure this injustice any longer. Sometimes, people only learn the lesson through the hard painful way."
The man says, taking back the Break Gunner, as his expression turns from regret to a different one, now full of rage.
"Most people treated me like trash beneath them just because I was born Quirkless. But not you. You showed me kindness when everyone else didn't. Not even the Heroes when I needed them the most. And yet, you are the one who has to suffer in such a horrible way while everyone else remains blissfully ignorant to this…"
"..."
"If everyone was capable of empathy and compassion towards the weak, just like how you did, then maybe things would have ended differently. And you would still be awake. And not like this."
"..."
"I wonder… I can't help but wonder if you can actually hear me… What I wouldn't do just to hear your voice again… To actually hold your warm hands and spend time with you like how we used to… Just like the old times…"
His voice is now filled with sadness. And yet, the woman didn't react back to any of his attempts.
"..."
"I suppose it's too much to ask for a miracle to have you back with me…" The man says solemnly, wiping a single tear from his eye, as he now prepares to leave, still wondering if his words actually reached Miho's heart.
"*Sigh* I will come back again, Miho. I promise." He tells at last with a bitter smile before closing the door behind him.
*Click!*
"..."
Unbeknownst to the man, the unconscious Miho sheds a single tear from her eye once she is left alone.
'Don't go… Please… Come back… Akira…'

Drive 12: Returning Drive
At Hosu City…
Yuuki and Yuriko arrived at the city of Hosu to investigate the whereabouts of the Judge Roidmude.
Despite normally being stationed back at Musutafu, the two are amongst certain examples of police investigators that were allowed to check other sectors if the situation called for it.
Curiously, the duo also heard from Tensei that he had some 'job' to do at the city today before parting ways with the cop duo once they all left the hospital.
Right now, it was the end of the afternoon as the night was about to begin.
The pair of vigilante Kamen Riders were on the NEXTridoron as Yuuki drove the car around the area while Yuriko checked their surroundings.
"Tomari-san, I have already deployed the Shift Cars and Signal Bikes to help with the search. But so far, there have been no signs of Judge." Yuriko tells her senpai.
"Hmm… I guess it's easier said than done. But don't let your guard down, Yuriko. The Roidmudes will always make sure to strike when we are least expecting it." Yuuki advises the rookie investigator.
"Right. I just hope we will have an easier time dealing with them now that you are back on the front lines with me." She tells him with a hopeful expression.
"I hope so, Yuriko. I hope so."
But suddenly…
*Boom!*
A large explosion happens before them as a building nearby explodes.
What the!?
This causes several people to enter in a state of panic as more signs of destruction happen next across the city.
*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*
"A Roidmude attack!?" Yuriko suggests.
"Or a villain one!" Yuuki counters, narrowing his eyes towards the source of this chaos. "Anyway, we better go check it out."
The NEXTridoron then heads over where all the commotion is now coming from…
A few moments ago…
At Hosu City, before the chaos started…
The Hero Killer Stain was observing the entire city of Hosu from the top of a water tank, on the rooftop of some building.
"I suppose your meeting with the League of Villains was quite disappointing, huh?"
Hmm?
Turning towards the voice's source, the Hero Killer sees that Mashin Chaser is looking at him from down below.
"It's you. The Shinigami…" Stain says as he proceeds to get on the purple fighter's level. "What do you want?"
"Straight to the business, huh? Good. I came to warn you, Hero Killer Stain. Stop attacking the Pro Heroes indiscriminately."
What?
This last statement greatly confused Stain.
The man before him wasn't a Pro Hero. Then why would he ask this?
He looked more like a Villain. However, there definitely seemed to be more than meets the eye with this purple warrior.
"Why tell me this? Do you also plan to get on my way? Do you want to protect those fake heroes?" The Hero Killer questions warily, narrowing his eyes at Chaser.
But the masked man doesn't reply right away as he turns around to take a good look at Hosu City.
"You're indeed right about this society being filled with a lot of fake heroes, Stain. However, it seems that you're unable to grasp the bigger picture since there are also some more tolerable ones as well."
"Tolerable ones? What are you talking about?" Chizome asks.
"Whether you like it or not, we still need some of them around to keep dangerous Villains and criminals in check. And you see… Another problem we have here is that, amongst your targets, most of the victimized Pro Heroes were indeed some quite essential ones to keep the order around. Just like Ingenium, the last person you tried to attack."
However, the Hero Killer didn't seem convinced enough by Chaser's words.
"I have to do this in order to create a better world… And a stronger society." He answered with conviction.
"What you're doing will actually make only the ones you despise stick around." Chaser says as he spares a glance at the other man.
When he started investigating the Hero Killer Stain, he assumed that Chizome's motive was because he hated heroes.
Maybe heroes failed him at a point in his life, like he lost someone important to him because heroes couldn't save them…
But as he's looking into his eyes, Mashin Chaser could tell he was WAY off.
Stain's eyes are just like the eyes of a fanatic!
Someone who actually and deeply admires heroes. This guy wanted to BE a hero, he could tell. But what could have happened that would make him walk this path?
He needed to know…
"What would be a true hero for you then?" The masked man asks Stain.
"The word hero has lost all meaning in this society. Hypocritical frauds who care more about fame, money and attention have tainted the very concept of the word." The thoughts behind his words seemed to make Chizome angrier as he rants. "But I will reclaim that word! I will cull the fakes and all those undeserving of the title 'Hero'. The only way for true heroes to rise in this society is for the frauds that blind everyone to fade. All Might is the only person who deserves to be called of hero."
"I see… In that case, I have a proposition for you." Chaser says as he tosses a black pen drive to Stain, who catches and inspects said item.
"What is this?" The Hero Killer demands.
"That pen drive has a list of corrupt Pro Heroes. People you should actually hunt."
"..." Chizome doesn't reply, still looking warily at the other man.
"I believe our interests align, Stain. That's why I came here to talk with you. We both want to get rid of society's real trash. So, how about it? Why don't we join forces?" Chaser offers, extending a hand towards Chizome.
*Crack!*
However, Stain actually ends up destroying the pen drive, crushing it into pieces without hesitation as he now looks hatefully at the purple fighter.
"Don't think you can trick me so easily, Shinigami! I can see through your real intentions! You just want me right under your thumb. A puppet to manipulate and do your dirty work for you. But I don't know anything about you. Do you think I would actually follow someone so blindly!?"
The Hero Killer's heated discussion with Shigaraki Tomura back at the League of Villains' hideout is still fresh in his mind. And because of how bad their talk ended, Stain won't listen, reason or trust anyone else again so easily.
All who stand in the way of his sacred mission shall be punished!
On the other hand, Chaser calmly retracts his offered hand as he simply looks disappointed with the Hero Killer.
"If you can't abandon your lone wolf pride then I suppose there's only one thing left for us to do." He responds back, bringing out his Break Gunner.
[Break!]
"I will cut you down if your conviction is weak!" Stain cries in response as he draws his blades.
He doesn't care if the other man is stronger than him, the Hero Killer refuses to back down from this!
The two of them clash, now rushing towards each other with weapons in their hands.
Meanwhile, watching the two men fight from another spot were Shigaraki Tomura and his charge/aide Kurogiri.
Scratching his neck in annoyance, the blue-haired man came there to send some Nomus to destroy the Hero Killer.
Neither he nor the [Warp Gate] user was expecting to see Mashin Chaser beat them up at it as they watched him fight against Stain.
"Now what, Shigaraki?" The black mist man asks the [Decay] Quirk user. "Are you still planning to make use of the Nomus?"
Should they change their plans there on Hosu? That's what Kurogiri thinks.
But his ward seemed to think otherwise.
"This is fine. If anything, it's a perfect chance to also get rid of that purple guy." The man child simply comments, with a maniac grin spreading over his face.
Tomura didn't like how any of these new unknown players were capable of causing and moving during the [Slowdown], considering them 'cheaters' in his twisted game system.
And so, he deemed necessary that unexpected 'bugs' certainly must be removed from the gameplay's mechanics.
"Send the Nomus out, Kurogiri."
Obeying his order, Kurogiri merely opens another portal as the Nomus start to step out from it…
Now...
Back to the present…
"What the…?"
Arriving at the source of the commotion, the center of Hosu City, Yuuki and Yuriko watched from a hidden corner as several Pro Heroes there were fighting the Nomus that the League of Villains sent off.
"Exposed brains and those hideous looks…" Yuuki speaks, narrowing his eyes as chaos ensues before them.
"They look just like Nomu from the USJ. Is this the League of Villains' doing?" Yuriko finishes in a grimace as she glances at her partner. "We have to help the Pro Heroes, Tomari-san."
"Yeah."
While the Kamen Riders would stay out of cases that had no Roidmude activity, they would still intervene if it was something that many Pro Heroes were certainly having difficulties dealing with.
[Yuuki!] Belt-san cries as he arrives on the scene, followed by Shift Next.
"This is it. We're finally going to fight together from now on. Are you ready, Yuriko?" The male detective questions his partner after placing the Drive Driver around his waist and inserting Shift Next into the Shift Brace.
"Yes, Tomari-san. Let's do it!" The rookie investigator replies as she readies herself, placing the Mach Driver Honoh around the waist as she holds Signal Tracer in her hand.
[Very good, you two! Now let's start our mission!] Belt-san says as he sports a happy emoji.
"Henshin!"
[Drive! Type Next!]
[Signal Bike! Rider! Tracer!]
With the Pro Heroes…
Tenya, now wearing his hero costume, was currently helping Manual and other Pro Heroes there deal with the chaos the Nomus were causing all over the city.
"Iida!" A familiar voice calls him as he turns to see Izuku, his Deku hero costume, running towards him.
"Midoriya!? You're also here?" The Class Representative of 1-A exclaims in surprise upon spotting his green-haired friend.
"Yeah. I came here with my mentor." Izuku explains to him before pointing to a direction where Torino Sorahiko/Gran Torino was shown currently restraining one of the Nomus he just tackled down.
'Are these guys related to the one that attacked Toshinori back at U.A.?' Torino thinks as nearby Pro Heroes come to assist him with restraining the Nomu he just defeated while he decides to approach his intern.
*Boom!*
However, the chaos across Hosu is far from over as the other Nomus are shown still beating the weaker heroes while their trail of destruction and carnage keeps spreading across the streets of Hosu.
'Damn! Even with many of us around, we're still barely containing those villains!' Normal Hero Manual - Mizushima Masaki thinks, using highly pressurized water from a nearby fire hydrant to strike a muscular Nomu before him.
"Manual-san, watch out!" Iida suddenly calls his internship mentor.
Huh!?
The water-based Pro Hero failed to notice that another Nomu was about to attack him from behind.
"Stop!" Tenya, realizing this, was about to try saving the older man along with Izuku.
Both boys run desperately in hopes of reaching Manual in time. But it was clear that they would make it…
Masaki saw his entire life flash before his horrified face as the Nomu's deadly fist was about to connect with his head and…
A blue energy beam suddenly hits the Nomu's brain, destroying it, and instantly killing the grotesque being as its large body fell on the ground.
Huh!?
"What just happened!?" Manual cries as he stares at the now dead headless Nomu's corpse.
Just who exactly saved him?
*Vroom!*
"*Gasp!* Look!" Izuku says as he and everyone else looks to a certain someone joining their battle.
*Vroom!*
The NEXTridoron comes into view, followed by the Ride Tracer. Both Rider Machines start to fire laser beams at the Nomus.
"That's-!" Tenya started, eyes going wide.
"The Kamen Riders!?" Deku finishes for him.
"Tenya!"
But before the pair of U.A. students could ponder more about the pair of vigilantes' sudden appearance, yet another familiar voice calls Tenya as he and Izuku are greeted with the sight of Turbo Hero Ingenium joining them.
"Nii-san!? What are you doing here!?" The younger Iida asks his brother.
"I came to check up on you." Tensei explains with a stern, yet concerned, look and tone as Tenya winces at this.
Of course he would. Why wouldn't he?
"Iida…" Izuku looks at his friend in concern.
It was pretty clear to them that the Class Representative of 1-A mainly came to Hosu City to confront either the Hero Killer or the Advanced Roidmude.
The older Iida was certainly relieved to see that his brother was fine, glad that Tenya hasn't done anything reckless yet nor have accidentally stumbled up with either Stain or Judge during his internship time with Manual.
Speaking of the Normal Hero, Masaki and Sorahiko were approaching them.
"Ingenium-san! It's good to see that you're finally back!" The Normal Hero says to the Turbo one with a look of relief.
There was definitely a need for a lot of heroes here right now to deal with the chaos that the Nomus were causing in the city.
"Yeah. Thank you for looking after my brother and accepting to have him as your intern, Manual." Tensei thanks the light blue-colored younger Pro Hero. "I just hope he didn't give you any trouble."
Tenya flinched at this. The talk he just had with Manual about not going after either Stain or Judge for revenge's sake was still fresh in his mind.
However, the Class 1-A student suddenly felt a supporting hand being placed on his shoulder as he looked to see Manual giving him a look of understanding before facing Ingenium.
"You have nothing to worry about, Ingenium-san. Your brother has been diligently following my instructions since day one." Masaki answers with a reassuring smile. "Though I did have a talk with Accelerator here to make sure things would be okay between us."
The Speed Hero - Accelerator
That is the name the Hero Name Tensei helped Tenya come up with when the younger Iida visited his brother back at the hospital.
And this seemed to be enough to bring a smile on said older brother's face.
"I see…" He simply says. "I'm just glad to see that you're fine and that I was worried about for nothing, Tenya."
"Nii-san… I…" Tenya tried to speak, but no words were coming from his mouth as he adopted a guilty look.
"..." Izuku silently smiled at the Iida brothers' interaction, also glad to see that someone else came here to stop his friend from doing something that Tenya might come to regret later.
It is then that Ingenium finally pays attention to the broccoli head.
"Green hair and eyes… You must be Midoriya-kun, right? Tenya would often talk about you and the other friend he made at U.A. Are you also here because of him?" Tensei questions the [One For All] user as he gets the feeling that this other teenager was there to help his little brother.
This made Izuku flustered.
"Y-Yeah…!" Deku answers nervously as Sorahiko raises an eyebrow at his intern/student.
He would have a word with the young man and Toshinori about this later.
But first…
"I don't want to be the killjoy here and ruin the sappy reunion, but I believe we have more pressing matters to deal with right now." Gran Torino speaks flatly as this seems enough to snap the others from their talk, making them turn to look at him.
The retired Pro Hero then points to the pair of Rider Machines as the NEXTridoron and the Ride Tracer come to a halt before the remaining Nomus.
"The new Kamen Rider… Tracer!" Tenya comments as he narrows his eyes at the female vigilante, who gets off from her personal bike.
"That car… So he's finally back after being gone for a while." Izuku says as he looks at the NEXTridoron.
The black vehicle was releasing some steam as the driver's door slowly opened up and a certain infamous figure stepped out from the car.
"Kamen Rider… Dark Drive…!" The greenette says nervously as he pays full attention to how the vigilantes were heading towards the rampaging Nomus.
"So the rumors are true… Tracer and Dark Drive are indeed accomplices." Ingenium notes.
The group and the other Pro Heroes nearby were all about to intercept the duo of Kamen Riders and confront them.
But they suddenly stopped on their tracks once Dark Drive looked back at them. This action made Izuku especially flinch since he could somehow tell that the masked man paid more attention to him, for some reason, in comparison to everyone else.
The Pro Heroes could feel, from the black vigilante's intense gaze, the silent message of not trying to get in his and Tracer's way.
And that the two of them would take care of the remaining Nomus there.
'It's just like how everyone has been talking about it lately…! This guy has an intense presence! One as strong as the Shinigami's!' Ingenium notes as he observes Dark Drive preparing himself to fight.
The Kamen Riders then rushed towards the nearest Nomus, passing through some of the nearby Pro Heroes by performing frontflips and jumping above them.
"The Kamen Riders!?"
"They are also here!?"
"Look, it's Dark Drive! He is back!"
Some random heroes and nearby civilians commented.
"Grr…"
Dark Drive now stood before a muscular black-skinned Nomu that could spit acid close to it from its mouth, having already defeated and injured many Pro Heroes before the vigilante stepped in.
[It's exactly as I expected from what you two told me earlier. I can't detect any brain activity coming from this being.] Belt-san comments to his user, scanning the said Nomu. [And Nomu can also be translated into brainless. Truly a name befitting this monster. A mere puppet moving on the whims of somebody else.]
"Then we're truly dealing with an actual corpse, but not an actual villain. A mere shell of someone's former self. The Nomu can no longer even be considered a human being in this case." Dark Drive speaks grimly as everybody nearby pays attention to his and Belt-san's words.
"Nomu it's not a person?" Izuku repeats in disbelief, eyes wide at the revelation.
"The League of Villains… Just how many of these monsters have they made?" Tracer questions aloud in disgust before turning to face her partner. "How do we deal with this then?"
"The same as we do with the Roidmudes. Nothing good will come out of it if we leave it alone to cause more destruction." The black Kamen Rider says to his kouhai as he now dual-wields the Handle-Ken and the Blade Gunner in both of his hands before adopting a fighting stance. "The least we can do is put the people turned into Nomus out of their 'misery' and let them rest in peace. Permanently."
Some of the Pro Heroes nearby did not like the masked man's choice of words, feeling uncomfortable.
Even if what he says is true, how can Dark Drive still speak calmly like that?
"Damn it… And all because some sick demented bastard wanted to play with the idea of giving Quirks to others." The black vigilante says.
"Giving Quirks to others…" Gran Torino narrowed his eyes at these words, suddenly making him remember about a certain despicable monster.
"..." Tracer actually looks at the Nomu she was about to face with pity.
The Nomu the female Kamen Rider was about to face was a gray-skinned one with bat wings, having the ability to shape its hands into weapons.
It no longer mattered to her if this 'guinea pig' was originally some unfortunate civilian, hero or villain. They were still people and shouldn't pass through something like this. Nobody deserves this.
And it was also horrible to think that the Nomu were all dead and could no longer be saved from whatever experiment was performed on them.
Just as her senpai told her, the least Tracer can do is put these unfortunate souls to 'rest'.
If the woman was now already grateful for not being born with a Quirk, then the gruesome being before her was now further cementing the idea of her Quirkless condition as a 'blessing'.
The talk she had with Krim and Tomari-san was still lingering on the back of her mind as the Nomus showed her another proof that humanity's 'natural evolution' would gradually not be able to keep up with the burden brought by the Quirks' superpowers.
Just like how the Quirk Singularity Theory predicted…
'No! Snap out of it!' Tracer mentally tells herself, briefly shaking her head to let go of these thoughts. 'Defeating the Nomus here that takes priority.'
"Rarrgh!" The Nomu that Dark Drive was facing roared as it tried to land a deadly punch on the black vigilante's head.
But the car-themed masked warrior would not let the puppet have things its way, moving very fast to avoid all strike attempts of hitting him.
'That speed… He is able to run even faster than me and Tenya!? And with better control!?'
Ingenium observes how the first Kamen Rider moves with precise agility. Greater than him, who needs to keep an eye on his arms to not overheat his [Engine].
Unlike the Iida brothers' velocity Quirks, Dark Drive can not only dash through long distances in a short time, but he also has superior reflexes and control over his body, which allows the vigilante to freely move in smaller spaces at a high speed.
*Slash!* *Slash!* *Slash!*
*Stab!*
Using both of his blades, the black Kamen Rider slashes the dark muscular Nomu he was facing through several parts of its body before stabbing the creature with the Handle-Ken and the Blade Gunner at the same time, forcefully pinning the monster down on the ground.
*Vroom!* *Vroom!*
The NEXTridoron then comes to Dark Drive on its own as a mini track for Shift Cars, covered in fire, appears around the scene, soon showing the upgraded crimson Max Flare riding on it as the Shift Car makes its way to the black Kamen Rider, passing through the present Pro Heroes and U.A. High students.
'I still can't make any sense of Dark Drive's Quirk…!' Izuku ponders as he observes how the vigilante in question grabs and inserts Max Flare into the Shift Brace.
[Tire Koukan!]
Belt-san announces as the NEXTridoron produces the Max Flare Shift Tire, replacing the default Type Next one that Dark Drive mainly uses.
[Max Flare!]
The Drive Driver announces as Dark Drive now coats himself on fire.
"Eh!? The tires he uses come from his own car!?" Izuku comments aloud in disbelief, having no prior knowledge of this information.
The same could be said for his classmates while the Pro Heroes looked at the Tire Koukan in intrigue.
'If I'm right, according to reports, then Dark Drive can use fire-based attacks now...' Ingenium notes.
[Hissatsu! Full Throttle! Flare!]
Dark Drive activates a special finisher as he jumps high before delivering a burning downwards ax kick on the Nomu's brain, destroying it.
*Crack!*
The Rider Kick was so powerful that, upon contact, the foot's blow made the Nomu's face crash hard against the street's surface, also creating a ten-foot crater with the monster in its center.
Everybody nearby gasped at the sight as the black vigilante flipped backward, to a safe spot, once his task was done. He checked to confirm that his enemy's brain was destroyed beyond repair, making sure that the Nomu he faced was permanently done for good.
'So strong…' Izuku thinks as he observes how the Kamen Rider easily handled a Villain that wasn't that much different from the one that All Might had beaten back during the U.S.J. Incident.
And speaking of Kamen Riders…
[Tomarle!]
Kamen Rider Tracer inserted the Signal Tomarle into her Mach Driver, now tapping into its ability to freeze the flying Nomu that she was facing. The 'STOP' sign manifests as the second Nomu stops moving mid-air.
'She can also stop flying people like that!?' Ingenium observes as he sees Tracer now inserting Shift Volt Charger into her Pat Megabo's Landing Panel.
[Volt Charger!] The weapon announces as Tracer sets it into its Baton Mode.
"Ha!" The female Rider then jumps towards the enemy as she presses her weapon's trigger, activating her own special finisher.
[Hissatsu! Volt Charger! Full Throttle!]
The Pat Megabo announces as yellow electricity covers the baton weapon.
"Take that!" The new Kamen Rider cries as she strikes the paralyzed Nomu with her personal weapon, hitting the artificial monster's brain with a lot of force.
*Smack!* *Bzzt!*
The amount of electric power that the winged Nomu receives is enough to literally fry its brain, instantly 'killing' it for good as the grotesque creature's body falls on the ground with a loud thud.
*Thud!*
It now lays there motionlessly, showing no more signs of moving.
As for Tracer, she safely lands on the street, next to her partner, after checking out that her opponent was defeated as well.
"And that seems to take care of it." Her partner comments, crossing his arms.
"Yeah." Tracer nods to him in agreement.
At a nearby water tower...
"What the hell was all that!?" Tomura said, throwing his binoculars onto the ground. "All of our Nomu, dead! Those damn Kamen Riders are stealing our spotlight again! What the fuck!?"
"So Dark Drive has finally returned to action alongside the new one known as Tracer…" Kurogiri observed as he turned to his ward. "Are you alright, Shigaraki Tomura?"
"THIS DOESN'T COMFORT ME!" Tomura shouted, throwing a mini tantrum. "Especially when we don't know how to beat those masked freaks! They are all cheating!"
"Yes, that's a shame," The bartender said. "Those Nomus could've at least used some more time to be useful for us."
"And I couldn't even break that Hero Killer here! I wanted to at least do that!"
"By the way, I think we're on camera, Shigaraki."
Kurogiri pointed to a helicopter that was now flying above the two of them.
"Ugh, take us back to the bar, Kurogiri! I need a fucking drink!" Tomura growled as Kurogiri obliged, opening a portal to take them back to their hideout.
With Dark Drive and Tracer...
The two of them then notice that the Pro Heroes and civilians alike seem to be gathering nearby the duo of Kamen Riders once the situation has finally stabilized a bit.
"Dark Drive is back!"
"He and the new Kamen Rider easily took care of the Villains!"
"Now what!?"
The majority of the bystander Heroes now seemed nervous at the prospect of facing the vigilantes after witnessing their display of strength.
But, of course, there were also some still daring ones amongst them…
"Wait!" Ingenium calls Dark Drive and Tracer as he takes a step forward. "There are some things I want to ask the two of you."
"Nii-san?" Tenya looks at his brother in concern.
'Ingenium-san…' Izuku quietly observes as he wonders if the Turbo Hero is the one who will try to attack the Kamen Riders first.
"I get that you two 'killed' those Villains since they're no longer humans, but dangerous monsters," Tensei says to the vigilantes as he gestured to the defeated Nomus. "But what about the other 'Villains' that you two killed?"
The Turbo Hero wanted to know more about the new mysterious Villain group that could cause [Slowdown]. And, currently, his best lead was to investigate this case by going after the only ones that can currently counter the time distortions.
But that said…
"And what do you plan to do once you get the answer you seek, Ingenium?" Dark Drive asks him back, defiant. "Will you try to recklessly fight Judge once again if you learn more?"
"It's not like any progress will be made if we heroes just stand still with our arms crossed." Tensei retorts as he takes a look around their ruined surroundings.
It's a miracle that no one was apparently killed during the Nomus' attack…
"I'm grateful to the two of you for appearing to help us deal with the Villains here in Hosu. And also for all the lives you Kamen Riders protected whenever the Villains with [Slowdown] were involved." The Turbo Hero continues, speaking softly before adopting a sterner tone. "But don't get me wrong. Your methods are still a serious issue here. Your actions don't excuse the fact that vigilantism is a serious crime. And, on top of that, there's also the problem of you two murdering people, even if they are dangerous Villains."
"It's… It's more complicated than that, Ingenium!" Tracer tried to explain, but her partner raised a hand to the woman, silencing the female Rider with a shake of his head.
They couldn't tell about the Roidmudes to the rest of the world.
At least not yet…
Ingenium notices their secrecy as he narrows his eyes, underneath his helmet, at the pair of vigilantes.
What are they hiding? And why?
"Then tell me… Help me understand you two. Why are you guys doing this? With your abilities, you two could have turned into fine Pro Heroes like the rest of us. Just why do you have to resort to vigilantism?" Tensei questions the Kamen Riders, pressing further.
He is aware that if he actually wanted to get to the bottom of this whole deal then Tensei would need to keep pushing things a bit further before the vigilantes try to leave the scene.
"It's not that simple. If you learn what we're doing, not only you will be in grave danger. But your family and friends' lives as well." Tracer somberly tells the Turbo Hero as this suddenly puts everybody, except Dark Drive and Belt-san, at unease.
'What!? It's that bad!?' Tensei grimly thinks as he and the other Heroes suddenly all had a gut feeling that, somehow, the new Kamen Rider was being serious about what she just revealed to them.
Meanwhile, Tenya looks at his brother in surprise, not having expected Tensei to actually take this approach by trying to talk with the Kamen Riders rather than lecture the vigilante duo and attempt to arrest them on the spot.
"We won't be getting anywhere at this rate, Tracer. We better leave now." Dark Drive reminds his partner.
"..." The female Kamen Rider doesn't say anything as she simply nods to him before looking back at everyone else with a conflicted look under her mask.
"You two aren't going anywhere!"
An intense pillar of fire appears before everyone in the scene as Endeavor lands before Dark Drive and Tracer.
"Endeavor!?" Tracer calls the Flame Hero in surprise as the No. 2 Pro Hero of Japan looks at the duo of Kamen Riders with a stern expression.
"Midoriya! Iida!" Shouto calls his classmates as he followed after his father/current internship mentor.
"Todoroki/kun!?" Izuku and Tenya were equally surprised at meeting the red-and-white-haired teenager there at Hosu.
The son of Endeavor then briefly gasps as he saw that his father was about to confront Dark Drive and Tracer there.
"We're not looking for trouble here." The black vigilante calmly starts. "We're not your enemies, Endeavor."
"The law says otherwise, Kamen Riders." The man spoke fiercely as the flames around his body intensified. "And it's about time someone finally puts the two of you behind bars. Especially you, Dark Drive. Do you have any idea of what consequences your stunt back at the Sports Festival brought to the good name of the Heroes?" Enji inquires as he glares at the car-themed vigilante as if trying to burn the other man alive with his hard gaze.
Underneath his helmet, Dark Drive narrows his eyes at the Flame Hero as he proceeds to talk back:
"I won't give any half-assed excuses like 'you left me no choice' or 'I had to escape because All Might was there'(Enji's eyes twitched in fury at the mention of Toshinori). I'm well aware that my and Lupin's actions back that day have ruined the reputation of a lot of Pro Heroes stationed there, including yours and Mr. Symbol of Peace himself." Dark Drive dryly remarks as some of the present Pro Heroes grew uncomfortable with his choice of words.
"However, I simply couldn't afford to get caught yet by you people back then. I have a mission to fulfill."
"So do you think that you can do a better job than us Heroes!?" Enji growls at him.
"He never said that, Endeavor." Tracer decides to speak as the No. 2's fiery look is now aimed towards her. "We are well aware of how important the Pro Heroes and the image they hold are essential to keep dangerous criminals and Super-Villains in check."
It was left unsaid that the Pro Heroes also planned to arrest the Kamen Riders to eventually restore part of their damaged reputation due to the Sports Festival's fiasco.
But could they actually live up to this now?
"But think about it now: If you somehow happen to 'miraculously' arrest the two of us, who do you think will take care of the 'super' Villains that can cast [Slowdown]?" Dark Drive asks Endeavor about the challenging task, making Enji and the other Pro Heroes flinch as they try to process this possibility. "And don't try to delude yourself as someone fit for the task, because we all know you won't be convincing anyone so soon."
"Enough! Do not think that your words will sway me, Dark Drive!" Enji barks back, now gritting his teeth in anger as irritation comes over his face. "Your vigilantism ends tonight, Kamen Riders!"
He doesn't fully understand yet why the Kamen Riders haven't tried to escape from Hosu City by causing [Slowdown] and making it impossible for the Pro Heroes to pursue them.
Then again, it has also been clearly acknowledged(begrudgingly by Enji's part), previously, that both Dark Drive and Tracer can easily manage to avoid capture without having to rely on such ability. The pair of vigilantes were skilled enough to give a lot of headaches to the authorities, always being a step ahead of the Pro Heroes.
So, currently, it's maybe because the Kamen Riders simply can't use [Slowdown] right now or, because of some other reason, they don't want to always rely on this 'lagging' power.
No matter.
If it's the second motive then the Flame Hero will make sure to exploit this 'chance' to arrest both Dark Drive and Tracer!
Dark Drive and Tracer exchanged grim looks amongst themselves while Belt-san adopts a disappointed emoji on the Drive Driver's display.
It is always unfortunate whenever they will have to force their way out again.
But as everyone now prepares for this unavoidable brawl…
*Boom!*
…Huh!?
An explosion suddenly coming off from the nearby alleyway catches everybody's attention.
"Argh!"
*Crash!*
A familiar figure comes flying from there and crashes against the side of a parked car, destroying the vehicle.
The individual in question was none other than…
"Stain!?" Ingenium looks in disbelief at the Hero Killer's battered state.
Just who could have injured Chizome so badly like this?
'Wait… Could this be Judge's doing!? Is he nearby!?' Tensei theorizes nervously as he wonders if the Roidmude will suddenly show up from some corner.
The Turbo Hero looks at the alleyway the A-Rank Villain came from, only seeing an explosion's smoke coming from the opening and preventing anyone from seeing what's further inside there.
Everybody then hears footsteps as a second figure comes out of the alleyway, the curtain of smoke there only showing a faint silhouette as this new person comes closer to the others.
Once the individual is finally identified, it happens to be none other than…
[Mashin Chaser!?] Belt-san exclaims in shock upon seeing the 'familiar' purple armored warrior.
"It's him! The Shinigami!" Ingenium spoke grimly as he suddenly felt some phantom pain coming over his face, over the exact spot Chaser kicked him to be precise.
'Stain… And the Shinigami… They both hurt Nii-san!' Tenya thinks angrily as he suddenly feels, for a brief instant, the dark urge to attack the two criminals in question.
But the reminder that his brother and his classmates were also there with him quickly stops Tenya from attempting to do anything rash and reckless.
As he comes out of the alleyway, Mashin Chaser quickly approaches the beaten Stain. As he walks, the purple warrior takes notice of the others nearby. However, he decides to focus only on Dark Drive, Tracer and Belt-san while deciding to simply ignore the Pro Heroes and the U.A. students while the nearby civilians all ran away in fear of getting accidentally caught in another big battle.
The Rider Team does the same towards the purple Reaper, with Belt-san analyzing the new Mashin Chaser while Drive and Tracer try to perceive what is currently going on through the purple mechanical warrior's mind.
'The Shinigami…' Izuku gulps nervously, sweat falling from the top of his head, as he and the others could somehow sense the intimidating aura coming off from Chaser.
*Stomp!*
Chaser forcefully steps onto Stain's chest, making the Hero Killer cough and let a disgruntled cry before glaring at the masked man, who was now also pointing the Break Gunner at his face.
"Y-You!" Chizome snarled.
"It's too bad you refused my offer, perhaps we could have achieved a lot if you decided to work for me, Stain."
"And now... You aren't even trying to deny it, are you?" The Hero Killer says back in protest.
Most of the others gasped upon hearing what Chaser just said.
"But alas, you decided to be stubborn and test my patience." The purple Reaper adds nonchalantly. 'I hope you realize how I simply decided to 'amuse' you by giving you the illusion of a chance to face me without I having to cast [Slowdown] to end our little 'fight' in an instant.'
"Shinigami…! You will pay for this!" Chizome keeps barking as he now thinks about what led to this brutal outcome.
It was like his brawl with Judge, if it could be called that. A more accurate term would be a one-sided beating from Chaser's part as nothing that the Hero Killer did work against the mechanical warrior. And since he couldn't draw blood from Mashin Chaser to activate his [Bloodcurdle] Quirk, Chizome wouldn't be able to stop the Reaper's relentless moves.
An escape attempt was out of the question as Chizome saw that Chaser left absolutely no opening for him to exploit at all.
"You asked me earlier about convictions. How does mine feel to you now, Hero Killer?" Chaser says to the defeated Stain. "I don't care about who stands in my way. I will only be able to move on if I destroy all those hypocrites that tried to drag me down."
"Then are you going to kill me now?" The Hero Killer asks back to him, looking defiant until the very end despite knowing the terrible situation he finds himself in.
"I will if the situation calls for it…" The purple warrior coldly replies as it seemed that he was about to pull the Break Gunner's trigger.
"Stop!"
Feeling an odd sensation of Déjà Vu come over him as he remembers the memory of Stain and the Judge Roidmude's clash, Ingenium prepares to step in, once again, to try to save the life of the very same man that previously tried to cripple him in another alleyway.
After all, he was a hero.
And when it comes to lives, Tensei will try to save anyone!
Even the villainous ones in danger…
*Zoom~!*
But someone else beats the Turbo Hero over this as a black blur quickly passes through him and everyone else, stopping Chaser from pulling the Break Gunner's trigger.
"Huh?" The purple reaper notices an armored black hand, with blue lines across it, forcefully grabbing the wrist of the arm he uses to hold his personal weapon.
He turns to face the man responsible for getting in his way as Mashin Chaser and Kamen Rider Dark Drive now glare at each other…

Sorry for the long time I took to write this. I have been in a slump lately, trying to come up with a way to write this chapter. I hope you, my readers, understand. But I will always try to update the story as soon as I can.
As for the people who have pointed out some of the problems with my story, I will try to take their words into consideration and fix the issues. But if you only plan to type toxic words instead of giving constructive criticism, I will simply ignore you.
Regardless of what people think, this story will continue the way I intend it to be. It's impossible to satisfy everyone, no matter how much you listen to each of them. As long as the majority are enjoying it, things will not change. Catering to the majority and the optimistic ones is what's important to me.
1- I ended up giving another hero name to Tenya since his brother Tensei is still going to continue his duty as Ingenium.
2- Made some character development for my new OC Akira/Mashin Chaser as this chapter shows him finally taking part in some action. In contrast to Yuuki and Kaito, who have roles as a Vigilante and a Phantom Thief respectively, Akira will be an Anti-Hero of sorts as he fights against Villans and Roidmudes in his own different way. One of the reasons he previously 'saved' Stain from the Judge Roidmude was because he wanted to 'make use' of the Hero Killer in order to fulfill his objectives.
3- The Kamen Riders will have, most of the time, a harder time fighting against the Roidmudes. They didn't have any issues with the Nomus in this chapter since they are already strong enough to defeat these monsters by quickly destroying them through their weak points: the Nomus' brains.
I will now focus on writing the next chapter of my Senran Kagura: Shinobi Chronicles story. I finally got the inspiration to continue it now.

Yeah, I suppose it's about time I update some of my other stories like Senran Kagura: Shinobi Chronicles. In regards to that story, I will make Kamui Yukio/Kamen Rider Shinobi gain the ability to use all the elements you mentioned, even Light and Dark.

But there is something I have to correct about what you typed: It's not Oki twins, but brothers. While Yuya is 16 Years Old, his brother will be 17 Years Old.

You also made some other interesting possible scenarios that I might use later.
1- No, Krim will not perform those questionable experiments since I don't want him to do so and also because I feel that it's out of character for him. In the meanwhile, I'm still thinking about what other solutions can be found so that the issues with humanity not evolving fast enough to keep up with their Quirks are solved and the people will not have to resort to unethical experiments with the human body and Quirks. Do you have any ideas for this?
2- Yep, Roidmudes do not age due to basically being advanced robots. This was shown in Kamen Rider Drive with the Heart Roidmude as an example. The Drive Team is aware of this and how their enemies could basically wait and outlive everyone until all the Quirkless are gone from the MHAverse. This is one of the vigilantes' main reasons to quickly defeat the Roidmudes as soon as possible. Because if they fail, there won't be other Quirkless people left to face the evil Mechanical Life Forms.
I will later explore the idea that not only society, but the Roidmudes as well, aren't currently fully aware yet that only Quirkless can become Kamen Riders(This being the reason why the Roidmudes are attacking right now rather than taking their time). When everyone learns the truth, some people will probably start to gradually value more the Quirkless people.
3- Yeah, being the Quirk supremacists that they are, the Meta Liberation Army would certainly be in denial of the idea that only Quirkless people can use the Rider System to transform and fight. I will probably do something like some Roidmudes already having secretly infiltrated the Meta Liberation Army's ranks as they slowly destroy the group from inside.
4- Of course, I will eventually show how the public opinion over the Kamen Riders changes as people start to favor them. The idea of a holiday seems kind of random though.

I'm actually tempted with making use of the idea that the U.A. traitor/spy's identity is revealed way earlier than canon.
The talk between Yuuki/Dark Drive and Kaito/Lupin was necessary to make the detective slowly start to understand that the Phantom Thief is someone way more complex than just another villain that needs to be defeated.

Not sure yet about when exactly I will make use of foreign Pro Heroes and how some of them, like Star and Stripe, might come to Japan to aid in the fight against the Roidmudes.
In regards to the MHA's movies, what would you do to not make them feel so 'forced' then? I have plans to at least incorporate the first movie's plot in this story. Not interested in the second one and I still need to see the third film before deciding what do to with it.
Yeah, I also think that the anime's author didn't give much importance to the Quirkless as a group, but mainly just to Izuku's case. The last thing that was relevant about them was that [One For All] best fits Quirkless and Aoyama Yuga's situation.
I also liked Kamen Riders W and Ex-Aid and I hope someone eventually makes fanfic using them since I'm currently not interested in making one.
Right. How Star and Stripe would fare during Heavy Acceleration is an interesting case. I believe she can actually place a rule on herself to move during the time distortion without actually harming her body in the process. But that will leave her available to use only one more rule while fighting the Roimdudes, which are harder to defeat than human beings.
It will also depend on how creative and quick thinking she can be during one of these types of battles since using the second rule to just give her superhuman traits to fight(she can't become as strong as All Might in his prime) will definitely not be enough to beat a Roidmude. Especially the Advanced, the Executives and the ones that achieved Ultimate Evolution.
#2nd review: Yeah. I sort of think that Atsuhiro/Mr. Compress being revealed as a descendant of the Peerless Thief right before being defeated/arrested in the manga was information that the anime's author kind of wasted. It sort of came forced and out of nowhere. The guy did not even have his background properly exploited before the Paranormal Liberation War Arc.
Yep. But besides the Roidmude Reaper Legion, I have plans to also make use of Human Type Plain Roidmudes in this story. Not in the form of Protozero(000)/Chase or Cyberoid ZZZ, but as one of the new main enemies that the Kamen Riders will have to face in the future.
Yeah, and the Pro Heroes will also eventually learn that Kaito/Lupin is more than a villain they need to arrest as they try to understand the real meaning behind his actions.
