Hope you guys enjoy it!

"Speaking"

'Thinking'

*Sounds*

[Belt-san/Kamen Rider System]

"Super Moves!"

{Television}

[Awaken, Kamen Rider Gold Drive.

The time has come.]

A soft female voice calls Gold Drive, who finally awakens from his slumber within the pod tank his body was resting in.

"Yes, Mother."

A smooth child-like voice comes from the golden-colored imitation of Drive's Type Speed.

The golden warrior then complies next with the order as yellow energy envelops him, transforming his body.

*Flash!* *Blink!*

He turns himself into a golden-colored Shift Speed(It looks exactly like the Toy-Exclusive Golden Ver. Shift Speed Shift Car. Also, I'm gonna call it Shift Gold Speed from now on).

*Crash!*

Shaking furiously, the Shift Car breaks itself free from the pod tank and flies away, hitting several computers and lab equipment along the way.

Roidmude Hideout - Halls

*Vrooom!*

"Did something just fly past?"

A curious 009 asks as she and Legatus(Cyberoid ZZZ) barely managed to see a small golden blur flying past above them at a high speed, the two Executives observing the mysterious figure from a nearby window as it quickly disappears from their view.

"..." The Overseer Executive narrows his eyes, having an idea of what, or rather, who it was that just passed them.

[Beware of attacks.]

'Mother' instructs as the Shift Car comes face to face with several Roidmude Berserk Bodies, of all three Plain Types, guarding a portal that leads to somewhere.

Having no idea of what exactly the Shift Car is, the giant monsters all begin to attack the Shift Gold Speed without hesitation.

*Slash!* *Bam!* *Bam!*

But this did nothing against the small item as it made its way through them, striking them and piercing their bodies as Shift Gold Speed easily destroyed every single Roidmude Berserk Body stationed there.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

[Go to the human world.] 'Mother' instructs again as the Shift Car enters the portal, being teleported to somewhere else.

*Vrooom!*

It is revealed that Shift Gold Speed reached Musutafu City after passing through the portal. And it was currently nighttime as the golden Shift Car flew through the skies before eventually landing on an alleyway somewhere within the center of the city.

"Mother… I'm tired." Gold Drive tells 'Mother' as his voice came from the small Shift Car.

[You did a good job, my dear child. Sleep for now and rest, my Gold Drive.]

My Hero Academia Illegals: Vigilante Dark Drive

Drive 25: A Golden Arrival

The next day…

At the hospital

"Damn… We couldn't do a single thing back then…"

Rumi spats out bitterly as she and Ryuko were sharing a room while recovering from the wounds they got as a result of the Fairy Lip heist.

"..." While not as vocal as her fellow heroine, the Dragoon Heroine was equally frustrated with how the whole thing ended as she tightens her hold over the blanket of her bed.

'Just like the second attack on U.A… What are we supposed to do? How are we going to beat those new villains?'

The blonde then ponders about her interaction with Kamen Rider Tracer, the female vigilante likely having the answers that she and Rumi desperately seek to better understand this whole situation.

'But how am I even going to get her to talk? And there's the fact that I don't know when we will get to meet either her or Dark Drive again anytime soon…'

"Fuck. Once I get out of here, I'm gonna train like I have never done before in my entire life." Rumi speaks as she frowns. "And then I'm gonna beat the truth out of those guys. I had enough of being left out of this entire freaking loop!"

Ryuko merely raises an eyebrow at her colleague.

"Are you serious, Rumi? Do you even have a plan? Have you already forgotten how bad things ended for us? This is your problem, you never think before acting!"

This earns a scoff from the Rabbit Heroine.

"And what about you, Ryuko? How long are you gonna be depressed!?"

"What? Why you…!"

But before the two heroines could keep bickering, someone enters their room by forcefully opening the door.

"Ryukyu!" A worried Hado Nejire calls her mentor's name, quickly approaching the blonde's bed.

Having learned about what happened with her workplace mentor, the bluenette quickly rushed into the hospital to check up on Ryukyu.

"Nejire…" Ryuko's expression softened once she saw the girl's worried expression.

"I'm so glad you're okay!" Nejire tells her mentor, she seemed to be on the verge of crying.

"I'm alright, Nejire. Really." Ryuko assures her. "I did not get any lethal injuries. Hopefully, I will be discharged soon."

"That 's great!" The bluenette seemed to be happy upon hearing the news, smiling at her mentor.

"..."

But silently observing the U.A. High student, Rumi noticed that wasn't actually the case.

Somehow, the Rabbit Heroine seemed to realize that the bluenette was merely acting cheerfully in front of the Dragoon Heroine and it seems that Ryuko hasn't noticed it yet.

But why? Was it just to not worry Tatsuma? Or was there another reason for it?

As for Nejire, she was secretly worried about the damages the Roidmudes had caused during the whole Fairy Lip operation. Being aware of how dangerous the androids actually were, she unconsciously came with the intent of finally telling about them to her mentor.

*Knock!* *Knock!*

But before anything else could be said, the three heard a knock on the door as two individuals entered the room.

"Excuse me." Yuuki says as he announces his presence, showing his police badge to them. "May I have a word with the two of you? Mirko. Ryukyu."

Yuriko was right behind him, also showing her badge to the heroines.

"I'm detective Shijima and this is my partner, Tomari-san." The female Rider speaks next. "We would like to get your testimonies regarding the heist of the Fairy Lip."

"Ah! Tomari-san! Shijima-san!" Nejire greets the vigilantes, surprised at seeing them there.

"Eh, Nejire-chan? What are you doing here?" The female investigator asks, equally surprised at seeing one of the U.A. Hero Course's students at the hospital.

"You know them, Nejire?" Ryuko asks the teenager, earning a cheerful nod from her.

"Yeah! They are-!"

But before the bluenette could properly introduce them to her mentor, Yuuki clears his throat, getting the women's attention.

"We're getting a bit sidetracked, aren't we?" He says, trying to act professionally and not sound rude. "I'm sorry, but could we just get your testimonies? It's just… We still have plenty more people to talk with today."

"Ah, of course. And if I remember it right… You two were the detectives in charge of the museum's case, weren't you?" Ryuko asks the Riders, narrowing her eyes at them.

"Yes." Yuriko confirms, nodding to the Dragoon Heroine.

"Hey. Do I know you from somewhere?"

A curious Rumi asks Yuriko, looking suspiciously at the female police detective. Especially at the ravenette's sky-blue eyes. There was something unsettling about them.

"Huh?" The Rider makes a good job of faking a confused expression as she looks back at the Rabbit Heroine, having just finished getting the bunny's testimony. "No. I don't think so, Mirko-san. I didn't even get the chance to talk with you back at the Grand Museum."

'Really?' The heroine asks in her mind, feeling doubtful about it.

There was something off about the black-haired woman…

But she held her tongue back, for now.

"And that will be all. Thank you for your testimony, Ryukyu." Yuuki thanks Ryuko after getting the blonde's testimony and every other important detail from her.

"Of course, I'm just glad to be of use." The Dragoon Heroine replies, nodding politely to the police detective.

The veteran investigator then glances at Yuriko, gesturing for her to follow after him.

"C'mon, Yuriko. We still have to talk with the others."

"Right, Tomari-san."

The two then bid farewell to the heroines as they left the room.

"Wait!"

But Nejire follows them to the hospital's corridor, making the detectives halt as they face the bluenette.

"Nejire-chan? Is something the matter?" Yuriko questions the girl, tilting her head.

"Can I talk with you two for a moment?" The 3rd Year asks, feeling a bit hesitant.

"There's something fishy about that woman…"

"Huh?"

Ryukyu raises an eyebrow as she looks at Rumi, the bunny heroine having a pensive expression on her face.

"What do you mean, Rumi?" Ryuko questions her colleague, confused by the other woman's sudden comment.

She was mostly curious about how exactly her protege knew those two police detectives, but Nejire soon left the room after them before the dragoon lady could ask the bluenette about her relationship with detectives Tomari and Shijima.

"I don't know… I just had this feeling… My instincts were telling me that I had already seen Shijima somewhere else before… But… I don't know… It's just…" Rumi explains, growing as she remains in deep thought.

"Well, maybe you probably did. I mean, she is a cop. Perhaps she was involved in one of those recent cases you took part in." Ryuko assures the Rabbit Heroine. "Why don't you ask Detective Tsukauchi if you're curious? Maybe he can shed some light on your doubts…"

"Yeah, I guess so." The white-haired agrees as she sighs before resting her head on the pillow.

'But still… What is this uneasy feeling…?' Rumi thinks as she stares at the room's ceiling.

This sensation that she is overlooking something very important…

Back with Nejire…

*Click!* *Clack!*

"Here you go."

Yuriko offered the Hero Course student a drink that she bought from a nearby vending machine.

"Thanks, Yuriko-san.." Nejire thanks the older woman as she sits on the bench.

The female detective was drinking some orange juice while her partner bought canned coffee for himself from the same vending machine.

The trio found themselves in a secluded corner of the hospital's floor, making sure no one would eavesdrop on their conversation.

"So… What is it that you want to talk about?" Yuuki questions the blue-haired girl as he rests his back against a wall, raising an eyebrow at her.

"I…"

The teenager hesitated for a moment until speaking once more. Nejire-chan looks firmly at the two Riders before making her decision:

"I want to tell Ryukyu about 'everything'."

"..."

"..."

While Yuriko inhaled sharply at this sudden request, Yuuki narrowed his eyes at the U.A. High student.

"I wish to tell my master about this." The bluenette quietly said. "This… this isn't something I am comfortable with keeping from her. Especially considering what happened to her during the Grand Museum's Heist. She almost died."

Ryukyu is the hero Nejire was working with for her Hero Work-Studies and the two seem to have a fairly close relationship as teacher and student. Nejire admires Ryukyu a lot and is very attached to her, listening carefully when she speaks to her and following her orders without hesitation. Ryuko hired Nejire to work in her agency and because of that, she is aware of the bluenette's abilities and skills, deeply recognizing her talent.

"We wanted to keep the information limited." Yuuki replies in complete seriousness. "If we tell one after the other, the information would spread like wildfire and it would reach ears that can act on it sooner. And you should know why exactly. Our enemies have eyes and ears everywhere, Hado-san."

"Right now, if we start spouting about some 'shapeshifters' amongst us, people are gonna freak out." Yuriko added.

"And everything is already insane as is." Her senpai poignantly reminded them.

"Shouldn't we at least tell more trustworthy people of this?" Nejire inquired with a nervous frown. "Ryukyu knows how to keep secrets. This is incredibly serious and-"

[We will tell her and the rest once we know and understand more, Nejire.] Belt-san interrupted in a calm fashion as Shift Next Special came out of Yuuki's blazer's pocket, landing on the girl's hands. [Simply blurting out the information we have only just begun to understand and research can lead to unintentionally drastic and terrible circumstances. We must tread delicately here.]

"Krim is right." Yuriko quipped, observing said Shift Car. "First things first is learning everything we can about how many Roidmudes have infiltrated into the hero system, the law enforcement and the rest of the government."

[And that involves learning all that we can before making any moves, be they drastic or small.] Belt-san sagely stated.

"We try anything out in the open or more people find out about it, the people behind all this are gonna figure it out and do something drastic." Yuuki said with finality.

Nejire didn't seem satisfied with their words, but she did not have any argument to use against them either.

"We must have patience, Nejire-chan." Yuriko calmly tells the girl. "Krim has made it clear that rushing recklessly as you and some of the Pro Heroes have so often done will not be an effective means of counteracting this plot. We're not just doing this to defeat the Roidmudes, but to also save the world itself. We will let others know about the war later. Ryukyu-san as well. But you need to be patient."

"Alright. I… I understand." The bluenette complies, now sounding dejected.

"..." Yuuki silently analyzes her, wondering about the concerns the girl has for her mentor.

She could have easily ignored the cops and told Ryukyu about the Roidmude menace right away. It's not like they would blackmail her to remain quiet or anything of the sort.

But Nejire didn't…

All because she probably didn't want to betray the 'trust' the Drive Team has placed on her. Just like how she was also struggling now because of the bond she has with the Dragoon Heroine. The bluenette wanted their approval before spilling the beans to Ryuko.

'And I honestly don't fault her…' Yuuki ponders. 'Many heroes have already died at the hands of the Roidmudes and she simply wants to make sure her master is safe and aware of the danger… Just like how Yuriko was concerned with Ingenium's safety.'

He remembers how his partner was heartbroken upon learning about the death of Yoroi Musha and the several other Pro Heroes back at the Fairy Lip Heist, with all of them being carried away from there in body bags. Yuriko would certainly not want this tragedy to fall upon anyone else.

This got the vigilante cop to think about the reason he didn't want Ryukyu in the loop: His trust issues.

Because, why would he trust her? He barely knows the Dragonoid heroine aside from the media and the good things Yuriko and Nejire told him about Tatsuma Ryuko.

Additionally, even after opening up to the others back at the manor's meeting, Yuuki was still struggling to connect with others as he remembers some of the things people told him lately.

"If I kept solving everybody's problems, they'd never know how to do it for themselves."

Yuuki spoke with a sardonic smile.

"Some things are bigger than that," refuted Toshinori. "Sometimes you've got to stand for people when they can't stand for themselves, not just to fight back against the Roidmudes."

"The amount of pain and courage it took for you, to tell us your whole story, is not the action of a man that is going to betray us." Tensei stated. "You also saved not only everyone back at Hosu. But also everybody that was made hostage during the second invasion of U.A. High. So, you have my trust and thanks for telling us everything." He said before he bowed a bit to Yuuki, who went wide-eyed at what the Turbo Hero did.

"I may have opened up some old scars, but I will not deny that you have given a lot of secrets up to prove your own trustworthiness. Very well, I shall try to trust you as well." Vlad King admitted.

"I can't fault you if you think that way, Tomari. But remember, Shijima-chan, Tsukauchi and several of your coworkers still think you are a great police officer as well. Myself included. There were several cases in the past that were only solved thanks to your insight. Many lives were saved thanks to you." Kenji tells Yuuki. "You can't abandon the police force. Everybody needs you. More than you believe. More than you give yourself credit for. To protect the people and fight for the right thing is not just the Pro Heroes' and the Kamen Riders' duty. This also applies to the police force. This is also a belief that your predecessor, Tomari Shinnosuke, lived by."

"Humanity being wiped out by the Roidmudes is certainly bad for me. But that doesn't mean I'm going to go out of my way to save every person in danger, like how the rest of you are doing now. Why should I put my life at risk to save the same bastards that wouldn't hesitate to discriminate against me any other time? I could care less about how many die as long I am alive." Mashin Chaser told Kamen Rider OverDrive.

'Trust in other people is the very basis of society… But rather than having the others learn to trust me, it seems that my greatest issue right now is the opposite. To learn to trust and rely on others…' Yuuki grimaced.

This is different from paying no mind to insults and hurtful things people, like Bakugo, always say to him.

Something he was already used to…

But this was something entirely new to him.

'What should I do? Nejire said that Ryukyu is a reasonable person and that she doesn't discriminate or look down on us Quirkless… And there are probably more people like her out there that need to be warned about the Roidmudes… And yet, I'm still deeply hesitant mainly because of my insecurities and fear of being judged due to my Quirkless condition.' He ponders as he looks between the teen and his partner, both looking equally distressed with the aftermath of the Grand Museum's incident.

Maybe Yuuki will find the answer to this dilemma someday, but not today.

Not now…

Later that night…

[Awaken, Gold Drive. It is time for battle.]

Back at the alleyway Shift Gold Speed was hiding at, 'Mother' gives a new command.

*Vrooom!* *Vrooom!*

The golden Shift Car glows as it begins to move once again.

"Yes, Mother."

*Whoosh!*

*Bzzt!*

Gold Drive complies as Shift Gold Speed flies to the top of a nearby utility post and tackles it, absorbing a great amount of electricity from there and consequently causing a blackout in the nearby neighborhood during the process before flying away once he was done.

*Vrooom!*

And people would become worried as they saw a golden blur moving rapidly in the dead of the night, with nobody being able to make out what exactly it was…

The next day…

Early afternoon

Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall

Today was Yuuki and Yuriko's day off.

Deciding to take some time off from their duties and get proper rest and recovery after the whole Fairy Lip Heist fiasco, the detective duo decided to spend some time together somewhere interesting, while also deepening their bond in the process.

(Flashback)

"Tomari-san. Are you free tomorrow?" Yuriko suddenly asks her partner, getting a curious look from him.

"I don't have any plans or anything. But with my luck, I might get caught up in trouble. Why?" Yuuki questions her, slightly joking.

"Okay, do you want to hang out then? Just to relax a little from everything that's happening, I mean?"

This got the man a bit more intrigued.

"Where? Do you already have a place in mind?"

"I was thinking about the Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall."

"Hmm… A shopping mall, huh? Damn, I honestly don't even remember when was the last time I ever went to one." Yuuki grumbled at the notion, cupping his chin in thought.

'Tomari-san…' The female Kamen Rider looks at him in concern.

Unbeknownst to him, Yuriko proposed that idea to Yuuki because of what she learned about how her partner spends his day off, with Krim having told her.

'Even when he is not working at the precinct or in any particular case, Tomari-san likes to keep himself busy by investigating Roidmude activity in his free time… He doesn't have an actual hobby or something else 'fun' to do to relax. Just like how Krim told me.'

And speaking of the sentient Drive Driver, he actually agreed with Yuriko that his son needs to spend some time away from his job, to avoid overworking himself.

As for Yuuki, he was wondering whether or not he should accept his kouhai's offer. Initially, he was about to politely refuse her invitation. But the young man ends up hesitating upon remembering how upset she was after witnessing the death of some of the Pro Heroes she admired.

Something inside him now ached at seeing Yuriko this sad, with his heart soon wishing for him to now do something to lift her spirits.

To make her happy…

Could this be achieved if he spends time with her, aside from their job?

"Sure, that sounds good. I guess we can text each other now, so we can figure out the details later." Yuuki finally tells Yuriko, shocking her with his answer.

'Tomari-san…' She didn't understand what exactly got him to suddenly agree so easily with her offer, but she wasn't complaining.

Seeing her nod in confirmation, Yuuki waved at her as he walks away.

"Talk to you later, Yuriko."

"Yeah, sure. Take care, Tomari-san."

Both of them then parted ways and began heading home, wanting to get some rest at their respective homes.

As soon as Yuriko was far enough away, she pumped her fists with a grin.

"Yes! I got him to agree!"

But upon realizing that people nearby had noticed her outburst, she blushed and kept her thoughts to herself.

(Flashback ends)

Currently, Yuuki was waiting by the Mall's entrance for Yuriko to show up, being dressed in his casual clothes. He is wearing a white collar shirt with two red vertical lines along the placket, a blue sweater jacket with a white checkered pattern on his left sleeve bicep, tan trousers and dark navy sneakers.

But suddenly, the Rider hears some familiar voices as he turns towards another direction. The detective was certainly surprised to see that some of the students of U.A. High's Class 1-A were also there at the mall.

"Are you guys ready to shop!?" Mina asked, looking at her classmates.

"Yeah, gonna get some new shoes and swimming trunks," Denki said, walking off.

"I think it'd be more convenient if I used a big duffle bag instead of a suitcase..." Kyoka said.

"I'll join you!" Momo said, the two preparing to walk off.

"Sounds like we all need to split up! Let's meet back here when we're all done!" Eijiro said, as everyone else was about to split away.

"Hey Uraraka, what do you need to get?" Izuku asked, looking at the brown-haired girl.

"Well now, what a surprise to also see you kids here." Yuuki speaks as he approaches them, briefly startling the teens with his presence.

"D-Detective Tomari!" Stuttering a bit, Izuku greets the Rider on the behalf of his class, earning a nod from the cop. "W-What are you doing here?"

"Today is my day off." The ravenette explains with a shrug as he gestures to his casual attire. "Suppose the same for you guys?"

"Yeah, you could say that."

Izuku then explains to Yuuki the reason for his class to be there at the shopping mall, with the heroes in training making their preparations for their summer camp training.

(Flashback)

U.A. High, in a big classroom containing both Classes 1-A and 1-B

After the First Term Final Exam…

The door slid open, and Aizawa and Vlad King walked in, both handing big stacks of paper.

"Alright, everyone take a seat," Vlad King said, as everyone obeyed.

"Your results are in," Aizawa said.

"Oh no..." Denki said, dreading the announcement.

"Here it comes..." Mina said, bracing herself.

"You've all passed the written exams," Aizawa stated.

"YES!" the combined class cried out.

"But the ones who barely just passed it and failed their practical exam will be taking that special summer school hell. Sato, Sero, you're among those that'll need to take them," Aizawa said, dryly.

"Aw nuts," Hanta bemoaned.

"We should've known that was the case..." Rikido said, grimacing. "We did practically nothing after all..."

"Same goes for you, Monoma, Tetsutetsu. You both barely passed your written exam, and failed your practical," Vlad King said, looking at the two of them. The aforementioned teens stared at each other in shock. "Kaibara, Yanagi, Tsuburaba, while you three failed your practical, you did pass the written exam with flying colors, so we won't be as hard on you, but you still shouldn't expect a cakewalk."

"Right sir," Sen said, relieved that it wasn't all bad news.

"Of course," Kosei said, holding back tears of relief.

"I understand the complexities of the circumstances behind my failures and successes," Reiko said, nodding.

"You have tomorrow off from class. Everyone, take a manual for the special training site and double-check that you have everything," Aizawa said, as he and Vlad King began to pass them out.

Everyone flipped through the manuals to see what they needed. They were also making their part in order to better prepare themselves against villains and future attacks from the Roidmudes.

"For two weeks, we will be spending time at a special training site that's on UA property, but away from the main campus," Vlad King said. "Principal Nezu asked a Hero Agency to assist with your training, and they're setting up the buildings and facilities needed with Cementoss and a construction company, as well as connecting it to the security system on the main campus. The setup will be similar to what we were planning for your summer camp to begin with. The other two weeks will be spent in Gym Gamma."

Aizawa speaks next:

"For one, the point of having a new training summer camp here at U.A. is to gather you all so we can make sure that you all are progressing, which is moot thanks to the switch to a boarding school system. Second, with the fact that Terminus and his kin have the ability to find out anyone's secrets, the school will run the risk of the Roidmudes finding out where the original summer camp was supposed to be, opening us to a potential attack. And third, UA's campus is the safest place to do this now, thanks to all of the anti-Roidmude measures and protocols that are being put into place thanks to the assistance of Mr. Steinbelt."

(Flashback ends)

Yuuki nods in understanding as Izuku finishes telling him about the situation back at U.A. High, with the hero academia also making their own preparations for the war against their mechanical enemies despite the disadvantages the people with Quirks had against the evil androids.

'I know these kids are heroes in training… But still, they shouldn't have to bear the same burden Yuriko and I have to as we fight the Roidmudes. They are just children at the end of the day.' Yuuki ponders as he thinks about the aftermath of the Fairy Lip Incident.

Following Yoroi Musha's death, his surviving sidekicks and several other Pro Heroes all involved in the heist decided to quit being 'heroes', with the elder's agency being closed down following the No. 8's unfortunate demise.

These people couldn't handle the pressure that came from fighting the Roidmudes, especially with the media criticizing them for their failure and with fear also taking over society as people learned about all the hero casualties from the battles that took place at the Grand Museum of Musutafu City.

'And I even heard reports about several of the public backlashes the HPSC has to deal with now from the community.' Yuuki laments with a shake of his head. 'But they shouldn't have come up with the idea of trying to capture Lupin in the first place.'

In the end, somehow, Torigoe Naeji was turned into the main scapegoat of the whole thing as all blame now lies mainly with him and his misdeeds as the HPSC made a statement that none of this whole fiasco wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for his crimes.

And speaking of it, the police confirmed later that Kamen Rider Lupin indeed returned the Fairy Lip to its rightful owner, Shiomi Moena.

The cop Kamen Rider then frowns as he notices someone absent within the students' group.

"By the way, where is that angry pomeranian? Is he not here?" He asks, looking amongst the kids of Class 1-A for a certain explosive blonde. "And what about Endeavor's kid?"

"Bakugo… Well, he wasn't interested in coming with us." Eijiro suddenly speaks, looking uncomfortably to the side. "That and… Some 'stuff' happened with him."

The rest of the classmates, especially Izuku, also became uncomfortable with the subject of Katsuki being brought up, so Yuuki took it as a hint to not ask any further.

"As for Todoroki-kun… He said he needs to visit someone today." Momo explains the whereabouts of their other classmate.

'Ah… Something tells me it must be his mother…' The vigilante Rider deduces as he remembers the dual-element boy's family issues.

"Tomari-san!"

A familiar voice suddenly gets their attention as everybody turns to see Yuriko approaching them, the woman waving cheerfully at them.

Her current casual attire consists of a white jacket over a light pink shirt, black stockings, white skirt and shoes. She was also wearing a black beret on her head with a gray ribbon connected to it as she carried a dark blue purse with her. The detective's long black hair was loose instead of being kept in a bun as usual.

"Hey, Yuriko." Yuuki's expression softens as he smiles at his partner, becoming happy with her arrival.

The female Rider nods to him and then looks at the U.A. High kids, greeting each of them.

"Oh, hello everyone. It's nice to see you kids again."

"Detective Shijima, are you also here today on your day off?" A curious Ochako asks the policewoman, earning a nod from her.

"Yeah, I decided to hang out today with Tomari-san here at this shopping mall." She explains to the Hero Course students.

The hidden implications behind her words were not missed by a certain pair of girls.

"Oh, does that mean you two are on a date!?" An excited Mina asks the cop duo.

"Like the previous Drive and his partner!?" Tooru questions next, making a comparison with Shinnosuke and Kiriko.

"Ashido! Hagakure!" Momo scolds them. "You can't just point out this sort of thing. It's rude. What if they aren't on a date?"

The cop Riders only seemed to be amused at this, chuckling at the girls' reaction.

"It's fine. There's no harm, Yaoyorozu." Yuuki assures Momo.

"Yeah, it would certainly look like a date from an outsider's perspective. But we are just two friends hanging out together today. For real." Yuriko clarifies.

Although, she did feel a bit bothered when she spoke that.

"Aww…" Mina and Tooru seemed disappointed with their answer.

"Well, I guess we should get going now." Yuuki says as he looks at Yuriko and then at Class 1-A. "You kids still have to make preparations for your summer camp training, don't you? Don't let us hold you here then."

"Right. See ya!" Yuriko tells them as she and her partner begin to walk away, letting the Hero Course students resume their shopping trip.

As the cops kept walking, Yuuki subtly looked at Yuriko while she was distracted seeing some of the shops in the mall.

'A date, huh? But would someone like me be good enough for her? Could I make Yuriko happy?' He wondered as he watched how his partner seemed to be happy spending time with him, with none of them having to worry over their duties as Kamen Riders.

Just for this day…

A while later…

"Yuriko?" Yuuki called.

Looking back, he saw a few feet away that something in one of the mall's shops' display windows had caught the woman's eye.

"Looking at something?"

"What? Oh no, it's nothing." She replies, catching up to the veteran Rider.

"Oh, really?"

Yuuki started walking back despite the sudden protest of Yuriko.

Looking at the same window she was, he saw that his kouhai was looking inside a clothing store.

"Really?" The silver-eyed ravenette questioned, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.

"Don't judge me," The female officer said back.

"No, no. I just really didn't see you as the shopping or fashion type." Yuuki clarifies.

"Well, normally, no. But I've been wearing the same clothes for a long time now and it's really plain and boring compared to what everyone else is wearing." Yuriko explains.

"So you want to go shopping then?" Her partner asked.

"No, that's fine. We can just continue looking somewhere else."

"We've got all day," Yuuki told her, smiling gently at her.

"No, no. I shouldn't be wasting our time with- hey-HEY!" Yuriko cried out when Yuuki started dragging her forcefully by the hand towards the store.

Inside the store, Yuriko sorted through different racks of dresses, shirts, and pants that she thought she would like. A lot of the stuff she picked out seemed strange or too normal for her taste, but eventually, she did see something she liked.

"I think I want this one," The woman said, looking over herself in front of a mirror.

"But it doesn't look much different from what you used when you visited me at the hospital…" Yuuki calmly pondered, taking a look at her choice of clothing.

Despite changing outfits, the dress she wore simply looked like a plain white strap dress.

"Yeah but this one has blue frills and sewn-in pink flower designs along the top and bottom lining," Yuriko said, giving her partner a closer look.

"Oh… Yeah. it does. But you can't really see all that without looking up close, it's mainly white on white." The older detective notes.

"I still want to get it, it'll be nice to finally have something new to wear that doesn't feel like it's made of cheap cotton, how much is this one?" Yuriko took a look at the tag, her face soon losing all of its joy. "Oh… wow things out here are a lot more expensive."

"Is that really too much?" Yuuki asked, looking over the price tag.

"It's well over what I was expecting." Yuriko said, sounding a bit disappointed. "It's fine, I don't really need it anyway."

"..." While she wasn't watching, her senpai adopted a pensive expression as he made a decision.

Yuriko had changed back into her casual usual and exited the store, a bit disappointed that she couldn't buy anything.

"Well, let's continue." The female ravenette said as she sighs in resignation.

"Yeah, let's see what else this place has," Yuuki said, walking out while holding a small bag with him.

"Wait, did you buy…? Tomari-san!" Yuriko complained.

"You said you wanted it," Yuuki said, holding up the shopping bag containing the new dress she wanted.

"I can't afford it, and I can't pay you back anytime soon," The rookie detective told him.

"You've done more than enough for all of us once you became Kamen Rider Tracer. And trust me, money isn't that big of an issue for me." Her senpai replies, shrugging.

Right…

Yuuki was the son of Krim Steinbelt. Not only was his father rich, but Tomari-san would technically be the rightful heir to Steinbelt Corporation had he decided to not become a police officer.

However, that doesn't mean Yuuki is a spoiled rich kid either. Krim also taught him to work hard and the importance and to earn his own money. Additionally, the bespectacled scientist taught his son how to make the right investments and what to apply in the stock market.

These teachings sure paid off in the end as Yuuki carefully earned a considerable amount of yen on his own eventually.

As for Yuriko, Krim even offered to initially pay her a generous 'salary' of sorts once she became a Kamen Rider. But the female cop politely turned down the offer, saying that she was simply satisfied with fighting for the right thing.

"I don't need it though," The woman said to her partner.

"Well you can return it if you want," Yuuki replies. "But to do that, you'll need the receipt." He told her, holding up a small piece of paper.

"Fine I will," Yuriko said.

She reached out for the piece of paper. But before she could touch it, Shift Max Flare came out of Yuuki's pocket and quickly engulfed it in a small burst of fire, disintegrating the receipt.

*Fwoosh!*

"Hey!" Yuriko yelled as the Shift Car returned to her senpai.

"Welp, looks like you're stuck with it." Yuuki said, smirking triumphantly.

"What if I ruin it?" She questioned.

"Then I'll just buy you another one," He said matter-of-factly.

"You don't have to spend so much money on me, Tomari-san." Yuriko tries to argue back.

"Then take good care of my gift," The male vigilante says, smiling softly at her.

His kouhai grumbled at his words, knowing that she was now stuck with an expensive dress.

"Thank you," Yuriko said, though still sounding annoyed.

"So, you hungry?" Yuuki asked her.

"I suppose, but I'm buying my own lunch," She demanded.

"That's fine," The veteran detective agreed.

After lunch…

Yuriko was sitting on a bench while waiting for Yuuki, she was humming as she takes a look around the shopping from her spot.

"Sorry for the wait."

Yuuki grabs her attention, showing up with two vanilla-flavored soft serves in his hands as he offers one to her partner.

"Thanks." She accepts the dessert and starts eating it.

Yuuki sits next to her and the duo quietly enjoys the ice cream before Yuriko frowned at what she saw in one of the stores.

"Ugh, really?" She said as she glanced over to a store that had Stain masks.

Once they finished eating, the cop duo went to the store and pretended to wear Stain's masks.

"I can't believe that they'd make merchandise for villains sometimes. Especially after how we found out that the reason he killed heroes was precisely because they profited off their images." Yuriko grumbled.

"I know... It's a really weird turn," Yuuki sighed, looking off to the side.

They eventually put the merchandise back down and left the shop.

"I mean, it doesn't help that they released as much information as they could about Stain's background, including his old social media posts." The female Kamen Rider said.

"As much as Stain has a point about there needing to be some sort of reform, the fact of the matter is that being a hero in our society is just fancier law enforcement and rescue work. Wanting compensation isn't wrong. Otherwise, public services like the police force and the firefighters shouldn't receive a salary either." Yuuki replied as they walked away from the store to somewhere else.

"And really, any good point he made was ruined the second he chose to use violence to make it. Not to mention how when you read what he wrote, it's pretty clear that it didn't matter if someone was a hero if they saw it as a way to support their family to make them comfortable, or follow in their family's footsteps. He wouldn't settle for anything less than what he considered 'perfect'." He adds.

"It's people like Stain that ruin whatever argument they could have. It's so easy to justify hurting people when you delude yourself into thinking that you have some sort of right for your goals. And what's worse is that he tried to use All Might as an example of what he thinks a hero should be." Yuriko adds her input.

"All Might is someone people aspire to become like. I mean, that's how most started, but Stain-" Yuuki starts.

"- put him up on a way higher pedestal than he needed to, and he looked at him at a surface level. Like did he not remember that All Might's got whole lines of merchandise and Might Tower, easily one of the biggest Hero Agencies out there? Yeah, All Might's also a big philanthropist, but we saw how Stain viewed people who wanted to be a hero for any monetary reason. His admiration blinded him to the fact that other heroes can still do good." Yuriko finished.

Eventually, the two made it to another store, finding a certain amusing sight as they saw shop employees replacing Stain's merchandise for something else. And much to the detective duo's surprise, the items were things like chibi plushies of Kamen Riders Tracer and Dark Drive.

Even stuff related to Lupin was there!

"Oh…" Yuriko takes a plushie of her alter ego, inspecting it with fascination.

'Not bad. Some of these are actually pretty accurate.' Yuuki thinks amusedly as he inspects the items. 'Wonder how Belt-san would react to this…?'

Their mood was now improving upon this as they realized that people were now becoming more focused on the Kamen Riders than someone like Stain, who was now being slowly forgotten by most people given his incarceration.

The Quirkless warriors were now the trend!

'Of course, Roidmude 059 copied him and is still roaming around somewhere. But his time will come eventually as well.' Yuuki thinks about the Plain Bat Type android that got Chizome's data, copying his form.

He then manages to spot some of the Stain merchandise being tossed into a nearby trash bin.

Having had enough for today as the cops had enjoyed spending time together, Yuuki and Yuriko finally decided to leave Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall.

"Thanks, Yuriko. Today actually proved to be fun after all." Yuuki tells her, nodding to the woman with a small smile. "I hope you also enjoyed our time here."

"Of course I did. We're friends, Tomari-san. I liked hanging out with you as well." She replies, giving him a bright smile of her own.

They then happened to spot a familiar boy on the way to the exit. Someone that stuck out like a sore thumb: A boy with green hair sitting at a bench that circled around a palm tree, with his back turned.

"Is that Izuku-kun?" Yuriko asked as she and her partner got closer to the boy.

But the Riders soon noticed something wrong.

As the crowd started to disperse a little, he could see a man in a pitch-black hoodie and black pants sitting next to him with his arm slung around Izuku's shoulder. But the way it was angled was a dead giveaway that he had his hand around the boy's throat. He watched the man turn his head a little to Izuku and took note of his deathly pale skin, scars, wrinkled eyes with red irises, and heavily chapped lips along with stringy, bluish-gray hair.

'That man…' Yuuki thinks, narrowing his eyes in suspicion.

He already saw him before. And it wasn't a face he was going to forget anytime soon given that this particular individual was there at the Grand Museum's incident.

'That man is a Villain. Shigaraki Tomura: 'leader' of the League of Villains and the 'mastermind' behind the U.S.J. Villain Invasion.' Yuriko also realizes once she saw her senpai's wary gaze.

"Yuriko." He calls the blue-eyed ravenette, giving her a serious look.

"Yes, Tomari-san?"

"Let me handle this. Just make sure nobody gets caught in it." Yuuki tells her as he pulls out the NEXTridoron (Car) Key.

The item looks exactly like its predecessor, the Tridoron Key, but with a few differences: There were extra silver details on it and the 'R' Ability Crest was colored green.

Shigaraki Tomura was absolutely ecstatic.

He had finally gotten his answer and now it felt like a fog had been lifted from his mind. His grip around Midoriya's neck tightened, choking him as he relished the petrified look of fear and the beads of sweat rolling down the boy's putrid little face.

"Ahhhhh… My head feels so much clearer now. It's like I finally connected the dots! I now understand why the Hero Killer pisses me off so much and why you're so annoying." He happily deduced as he gave Midoriya a terrifying, face-splitting grin. "It's all about All-"

*Pow!*

Tomura's smile vanished in an instant when he felt a strong hand grabs him by the head and before he could even so much as move a finger, he was slammed down onto the ground and was being repeatedly punched in the face with the force of a jackhammer!

Izuku tumbled off the bench as the sounds of screaming shoppers filled the air.

Coughing and sputtering as he gripped his neck, Izuku turned around and saw a tall man in black fling Tomura into an isolated corner of the mall like he was a sack of garbage!

"Ahhhhh!"

His eyes were locked on the mysterious man as the shoppers ran for their lives.

It was then that he noticed a familiar device strapped around the newcomer's waist.

'A Mach Driver…' The grennette thinks as he now takes a full look at the newly arrived warrior.

He was wearing a black bodysuit with blue connecting lines formed over his body, a set of armor pieces falling into place sporting a similar blue line on a black surface design to that of the NEXTridoron.

The armor's helmet was completely black with the exception of a blue circuit line running along the middle of the forehead to meet the 'R' logo resting on the forehead. The man's eyes were protected by blue optics that were shaped like a pair of stylish sunglasses, with a spike prodding up above each of the eyes. The helmet sports two dark blue prongs, one on either side of the helmet, that point straight up.

The armor also had a silver-colored Shift Tire attached diagonally around his torso, with the tread grooves highlighted in a green color and the word 'Type Counter' inscribed on the black surface. And just like Kamen Riders Mach and Tracer, there was a default cyan-colored Rider Kourin Signal on his right shoulder.

The warrior wears dark blue pauldrons with black edges, also wearing silver anklets with dark blue spikes on the back that curve upward sharply. He has four sky blue vertical lines on his forearms and tattoo-like 'X' bands crossing over his chest, wrists, and ankles. Similar bands, but with white ends, lie around his neck as collars.

This is Kamen Rider Counter Drive, a form that Yuuki can access by inserting the NEXTridoron Key into his Mach Driver.

(Flashback)

Reaching an isolated corner of the Shopping Mall and making sure no one nearby would catch him transforming, Yuuki places the Mach Driver around his waist.

[Mach Driver!]

The Driver makes its announcement.

"Henshin!" He chants, inserting the NEXTridoron Key into the Driver after striking a pose.

[Signal Bike x Shift Car! Rider! Counter!]

Yuuki is surrounded by tires and gears made of energy as a green holographic cylinder with a dark blue ring forms around him, concealing his frame. Steam comes out as armor pieces assemble around his body.

When the holograms and steam disappeared, a new form of Kamen Rider Dark Drive now stood in his place.

'This form is also perfect to fight anyone with Quirks. A trump card I made to fight someone like All For One when the time comes.' Yuuki reflects deeply.

He then decided this form will be known as Kamen Rider Counter Drive!

His sunglasses-shaped visor lights up as they glow.

(Flashback ends)

'Detective Tomari… He is using a new form with the Mach Driver. But what exactly does it does?' Izuku wondered as he observed the Rider.

"Deku-kun!" He heard someone yell.

Izuku turned to his right and saw Ochaco and the rest of his classmates running over to him.

"What's going on?!" She worriedly exclaimed as she and Denki helped him up.

Her eyes snapped over to the man clad, head to toe, in black armor as he walked towards a spot obscured by a curtain of dust.

"Who's-"

"S-Shigaraki!" Izuku coughed out as he pointed to the corner. "Shigaraki!"

They all looked to the direction he pointed and the dust cleared to reveal a man completely dressed in black and immediately recognized the pale skin, messy hair and eyes.

It was Tomura Shigaraki! The one responsible for the U.S.J. incident!

Tomura felt like the side of his face was on fire. The punches had ripped up his skin, he could feel the fracture in his cheekbone and his upper lip was horribly split, reopening the scar. He was so dazed that he could barely make out the armored man advancing towards him and slamming his foot into his chest!

*Smack!*

Tomura was sent crashing through the counter of a nearby store and didn't get a moment of reprieve as the man grabbed him by the neck and head-butted him, breaking his nose!

*Bam!*

Tomura tried to grab onto the Kamen Rider's helmet with both of his hands but he was punched in the gut, spun around and the man roughly grasped him by his hair, slamming him face-first into the glass display case!

Counter Drive slammed Tomura's head over and over again into the counter, heedless of his squeals of pain as the shards of broken glass dug into the Villain's skin. As easy as it was to punch this little bastard's head off, he wanted to make him suffer a little more.

He threw Tomura into a wall with so much force it sent him crashing through it and into another store.

*Crash!*

The vigilante Kamen Rider strode through the large hole he made as he saw Tomura make a beeline towards a frightened old man huddled near a clothing rack.

"Stay away! Or I'm gonna kill him!" Tomura threatened.

Unimpressed by the cliche threat, Counter Drive kept walking towards him.

"I'm warning you!"

The Villain tries to use his Quirk on the frightened civilian as Izuku and his classmates remain rooted where they stood in shock.

"No!" The greenette cries in horror.

*Tap!*

"..."

"Huh? W-What!?"

However, nothing happens once Tomura's fingers make contact with his hostage, much to the confusion of everyone else.

*Zoom!*

Counter Drive appears before him and quickly separates Tomura from the hostage, grabbing the criminal by the neck. The old man quickly uses this opportunity to run away to somewhere safe.

"This way, sir." Yuriko shows up and safely takes the elder away from the two combatants.

'What the fuck!? Why couldn't I use my Quirk!?' Tomura wondered as he struggled to break free from the Kamen Rider's grasp.

He tries to use his [Decay] on the vigilante. But like the previous attempt, it didn't work either.

"GYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Shigaraki's throat went coarse as he screamed his lungs out.

It was then that Izuku noticed something on Tomura's body, a familiar 'X(Chi)' symbol that was once used on Kaachan.

'The Recusant's Sigil! Shigaraki has also been marked with it!?' Deku thinks as he spots the symbol glowing on the Villain's back.

But how was that possible!?

'I thought Tomari-san could only use [Imagine Breaker] when he was in his Crimson Drive form. But he's clearly not fused with a Roidmude now.' Izuku thinks, trying to understand Kamen Rider Counter Drive's abilities.

The truth behind Counter Drive was that it was technically the 'completed' form of Crimson Drive, with the latter serving as a prototype of sorts. It is a stable form in which Yuuki wouldn't need the help of a Roidmude and the Neo Viral Cores to use his [Imagine Breaker].

Following the 'duel' between Yuuki and Katsuki, the Drive Team updated the data they obtained from Crimson Drive's abilities into the NEXTridoron Key, allowing Yuuki to transform into a Kamen Rider without Belt-san's help or whenever Krim was unavailable.

"Well, well. What do we have here? And here I thought you wouldn't be so dumb to do something like showing up in public so soon after the fiasco at the Grand Museum and given how Chaser made you guys run away with your tail between your legs, Shigaraki Tomura. But it seems I was wrong." Drive snidely tells a beaten Shigaraki as he lets go of the Villain, cracking his knuckles.

"W-What the fuck you did, asshole!? What did you do to my Quirk!?" The pale man cries in anger.

'Wouldn't you like to know?' The Rider thinks, seeing no reason to entertain the defeated villain as he produces a pair of handcuffs, ready to apprehend Tomura and hand him to the authorities, letting them handle the rest.

Shigaraki uttered pained mewlings as tears ran down over his bloodied cheeks, trying his hardest to fight off a combination of shock and intense pain.

Just like his encounter with Mashin Chaser, he was only realizing now how outmatched he was against these new masked warriors. Those guys were above his level, seemingly 'toying' with him.

"..."

Far away from the two of them, the Class 1-A students safely watched as they saw how Kamen Rider Counter Drive brutally subdued the leader of the League of Villains.

They had mixed feelings about the vigilante's actions for while he had previously saved them back at U.A. High and now did the same again for Izuku at the shopping, they still weren't completely in agreement with the man's methods, even if he wasn't going as far as killing Shigaraki Tomura.

'Did he really need to beat Shigaraki like that after negating his Quirk?' Izuku wondered as he saw the grim expression some of his classmates sported.

"What are you kids still doing here!?"

They heard a familiar voice as a worried Yuriko rushed towards them.

"Tomari-san got this. Leave, now! Go somewhere safe!" She ordered them.

"But…!" Tenya was about to protest, but the woman gave him a stern look that made the young man falter.

The rest of the Class 1-A teens soon found themselves under her gaze as well and decided to comply with her demand, finding it better to not argue with one of their saviors.

'Time to end this. I better make sure to permanently remove and destroy this guy's Quirk.' Kamen Rider Counter Drive thinks as he prepares to use the ultimate move of his [Imagine Breaker], looking down at the vulnerable Tomura.

"Damn you…! You will pay for this, Drive!" The Villain cursed the vigilante.

"You won't harm anybody else. Not anymore." The Rider sternly tells the pale young man.

*Zoom!*

Suddenly, the Shift Gold Speed Shift Car comes into view as it gets inside the shopping mall through an opening in the ceiling.

*Zoom!*

'Hmm?' Counter Drive notices the strange item flying around, above everyone, as it summons the mini tracks that all Shift Cars can, in the air, to move on.

The detective widens his eyes as he identifies the object.

'That's…! A golden Shift Car!?' The vigilante cop notices as the minicar now heads towards Yuriko and the U.A. kids.

"Watch out!" He immediately warns them.

Yuriko and the Class 1-A students hear his warning and they all start to disperse across the area in order to avoid being hit by the golden Shift Car.

"Dodge!" The female cop cries as she grabs Izuku before having both of them duck down, barely managing to avoid Shift Gold Speed at the last instant.

*Zoom!*

Shift Gold Speed now heads towards Kamen Rider Counter Drive, trying to hit him as it envelops itself into a golden energy aura.

*Clank!*

But the dark vigilante reacts in time, summoning a dark blue X-shaped barrier to protect himself from the Shift Car's strike.

'This thing… It's strong!' The vigilante cop thinks, struggling a little to keep his barrier.

But eventually, he manages to push the minicar back, sending it away before dispersing his barrier.

Shift Gold Speed lands a few meters away from the black Kamen Rider before it stops moving.

*Flash!* *Blink!*

Yellow jumbled data comes out from the golden Shift Car before it takes the shape of a humanoid figure. When the process was done, a new individual now stood in front of Kamen Rider Counter Drive, wearing certain devices familiar to him.

'What the…!?' The vigilante tries to make sense of who, or what, was now in front of him.

The one who now stood in front of him was a Human Type Roidmude, much like Protozero/Chaser and Cyberoid ZZZ. But this one has extra gold accents all over his body, making him a new variation of the Plain Human Type Roidmude. He also had a Core given that the number '109' was printed on his chest plate.

But what actually shocked Drive the most was the fact that this new Roidmude had the Banno Driver equipped around his waist and a jet-black Shift Brace, with a red strap, around his wrist, with Shift Gold Speed already inserted in it.

'That black Drive Driver… No way… Is he Banno!?' The dark vigilante thinks in disbelief.

"Henshin!" Roidmude 109 chants before pulling the gold Shift Car lever within his Shift Brace.

*Flash!* *Blink!*

[Drive! Type Gold!]

A female voice announces as the transformation process begins.

109 was soon enveloped in a holographic yellow cylinder with a red ring around it that concealed his whole body, which became jumbled data as steam then came out of it. When the holograms and steam disappeared, Kamen Rider Gold Drive's figure now stood in his place as he faces Counter Drive.

But this new Gold Drive has a certain difference in comparison to the form once used by Banno, before the mad scientist got destroyed: He has a gold Shift Tire in place of where the repainted Archetype Gear used by Banno should be. The Shift Tire has tread grooves highlighted in black color, with the words 'Type Gold' inscribed on the golden surface.

[Now fight, Gold Drive.] 'Mother' commands, her voice now coming out from the Banno Driver.

"Yes, Mother." The golden Kamen Rider complies as he gets into a fighting stance, preparing to attack Counter Drive as his helmet's red lenses lighten up.

The Closing Screen of this chapter shows Shift Speed Wild Technic(Shift Trinity), Shift Next Special, the NEXTridoron Key and Shift Gold Speed, side by side, with the logo of Kamen Rider Dark Drive behind them.

Author Notes:

Thank you for reading!

If you guys have any ideas or suggestions that I could use for this story, you're free/welcome to share!

If possible, I would like all guest reviewers to identify themselves since this will make it easier for me to reply and for you all to check what I typed in response for each of you.

And please, stop asking me about updating my other stories in the review section!

Just like how Tomari Shinnosuke can transform into Kamen Rider Super Dead Heat Drive with the Tridoron Key and the Mach Driver Honoh, I came up with the same for Yuuki in case he needs to use the NEXTridoron Key and the Mach Driver in order to transform on his own.

The result of this was Kamen Rider Counter Drive, a form that I also decided to make as the 'final version' of Crimson Drive, which is a form that I won't be probably using much in the future due to not having many opportunities for the protagonist to fuse himself with the good Roidmudes during the later chapters I have planned for this story.

I took some inspiration from the character Don Murasame, who appears in Avataro Sentai Donbrothers, while I made my Kamen Rider Gold Drive(Plain Human Type Roidmude 109)'s personality. Similarly to Murasame, he also has an entity he calls 'Mother', which will be having the role of supporting and advising 109/Gold Drive, just like how Krim/Belt-san does to Yuuki/Dark Drive.

Question Corner!

(Please answer this in the Reviews if possible):

[I plan to eventually turn Melissa Shield into a Kamen Rider. What would be a cool codename for her? And what about her possible Driver, how would you name it?]

Review Time!

PhantomKnightPercival: Yep. Hope you liked the chapter.

brave kid: Thanks! Glad you liked the chapter.

Guest DCDGojira: Thanks! Glad you liked the chapter.

Yes, Miho being in a coma is the connection between Akira/Chaser and All For One, with the latter being responsible for it. Yeah, Mirko and Ryukyu are going to be shocked when they learn that Yuriko is Kamen Rider Tracer.

I'm still thinking about a Kamen Rider name for Melissa, but thanks for your suggestions anyway.

Not sure yet if I will give a Mach Driver later to Kaito/Lupin. Maybe I will. The same for the idea of using an Octopus Roidmude in this story.

#2nd review: Now that I think about it, no. Kamen Rider Shinobi's visor doesn't change color when he changes forms.

Alright, you and Recentreader325 made some interesting points that I will make use of later. Thanks!

#3rd review: Not really sure about using that dialogue with Himiko since not all of the mentioned Kamen Riders will probably interact with her.

As for the Dustards, that seems like a valid thing to consider when I eventually make a crossover between my Dark Drive and Shinobi's stories.

Devad the Detective Overlord: Thanks! Glad you liked the chapter.

I will try to slowly show everyone's reactions to the situation, one by one.

The Knight Galahad: Thanks! Hope you liked the chapter.

Ok. But I simply used the yellow color for the taser's spark because of this story's original Shift Car in question, with Shift Volt Charger is a yellow generator truck that releases yellow-colored electric attacks. And I kind of saw some cartoons and animes using yellow instead of blue. I will try to make sure this doesn't happen in other situations if possible.

As for Endeavor, I actually thought I needed to start with that specific interaction he had with Yuuki/Drive to slowly start his redemption path, earlier than canon. But I'm still going to try to make it a lot harder for him to become a better person as he struggles with his personal issues.

UltraSenshi: Thanks! Hope you liked the chapter. Ok, I will try to check your stories one day when I have the opportunity.

Mario Hernandez III: Please, I'm serious. Stop asking for updates on my other story in the review section! :(

SynchroRegis: Thanks! Glad you liked the chapter.

silverstudent: Yep.

Toa Solaric: In regards to Endeavor, I actually thought I needed to start with that specific interaction he had with Yuuki/Drive to slowly start his redemption path, earlier than canon. But I'm still going to try to make it a lot harder for him to become a better person as he struggles with his personal issues.

No, Shijima Go/Kamen Rider Mach is not the Roidmude Emperor. It is someone else. No spoilers though.

Guest(1): Please, I'm serious. Stop asking for updates on my other story in the review section! :(

Dragon Of The Ecplising Moon: That could actually be an interesting idea. In the same way Banno could steal Shift Cars, Signal Bikes and the weapons from the Tv Series Kamen Riders, the new Gold Drive could do something similar with people's Quirks.

For'Sleep 3rd: Glad you liked the chapter!

Ok, thanks for sharing some of your suggestions as always. Maybe there is something I might be able to make use of later.

In regards to Endeavor, I actually thought I needed to start with that specific interaction he had with Yuuki/Drive to slowly start his redemption path, earlier than canon. But I'm still going to try to make it a lot harder for him to become a better person as he struggles with his personal issues.

#2nd review: I don't know. I don't really know a thing about what exactly FGO is all about.

Ok. But I really hope the anime gives an actual explanation about the Origin of Quirks. I would be very disappointed if they don't do that. After that, I will decide whether I will use my own Quirk Origin Theory or not in this story.

Zx: Thanks! Glad you liked the chapter. I will try to always update as soon as I can.

CraneTheVillain: Yeah, I checked it out after you pointed it out. I already fixed it.

hafizfaishal1402: Thanks! Glad you liked the chapter.

Guest W: Thanks! Glad you liked the chapter.

Yeah, I literally had the idea for Kaito/Lupin's Rider Machine after watching some episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS. But I don't plan to make more items based on hoverboards for him to use. He will keep using Viral Cores and Shift Cars as part of his arsenal. Yes, he has the Mega Max Flare and Get Dream Vegas(Dream Vegas' upgrade) Shift Cars.

Not sure yet if I will give a Mach Driver later to Kaito/Lupin. Maybe I will. The same for the idea of using an Octopus Roidmude in this story. Since I didn't remember saying anything official yet after all, simply that I would think about it.

Of course, I will make a situation in which Kaito/Lupin will deserve his title of Kamen Rider, with him using his abilities to protect the people important to him. Just like what you suggested in your review.

Sure, Izuku/Deku and Yuriko/Tracer will become fascinated as they will get to meet other Kamen Riders that don't make part of the Drive Series.

About Beros' situation, I will also think about it. I actually had an idea of already using a Quirkless member of Humarise that defects from the organization and joins the Drive Team, becoming their new Kamen Rider Mach in the fight against the Roidmudes. Maybe I can make Beros a friend of this person and make her defect alongside them or something of the sort.

#2nd review: LOL!

Recentreader325: Thanks! Glad you liked the chapter.

No idea yet about what Akira/Chaser's relationship with Lady Nagant will be like. Yeah, and Akira will try to do everything he can to make sure he kills All For One.

That idea about the Exectuvies' rant looks interesting! Maybe I will make use of it later in a future chapter.

Yes, the press will criticize the police once the identities of the Kamen Riders get revealed to everyone. Yep, and there will be tension between the HPSC and the police once Yuuki and Yuriko's secret identities as Kamen Riders get revealed. Especially because of their efficiency in dealing with Roidmudes while refusing to make themselves 'Pro Heroes'.

TheRealD3lph0xL0v3r: Thanks! Glad you liked the chapter.

No, I still haven't decided on Himiko's Fusion Roidmude name. I will probably settle with something like Vampire, Bloodlust or Bloodborne.

Wynnt'r: I'm still thinking about a Kamen Rider name for Melissa, but thanks for your suggestions anyway.

yogaratw607: Thanks for sharing your ideas with me! Maybe I will make use of some of them later in future chapters. But I won't answer some of your questions in order to avoid giving possible spoilers.

Yes, the goods guys will have Anti-Roidmude Bullets(shown in episodes 16 and 43 of Kamen Rider Drive) to use against the monsters, similar to the Nerve-Breaking Bullets, bullets created to fight the Gurongi in Kamen Rider Kuuga.

Of course, I do plan to later make use of some elements from Lupinranger VS Patranger in this story. But I can't tell you yet what exactly.

Haven't watched Kamen Rider Geats yet. I will do so later when I have the chance.

Which war arc are you talking about? The Paranormal Liberation War Arc? Because if so, then yes. I'm going to add it to this story and maybe make a 3-way battle just like you mentioned.

FlameFireZero X: Thanks! Glad you liked the chapter.

I actually planned to use that idea later. But instead of using a new 'Unite' Viral Core, Kamen Rider Lupin would do a Triple Tune, similar to how Mashin Chaser does with his Chaser Viral Cores, to combine all Roidmude Berserk Bodies into one monster.

Of course, Gentle and La Brava will team up with Kaito and Atsuhiro/Mr. Compress.

Yeah, the HPSC will be getting a lot of criticism later for their decisions.
