Mother commands her Operator, her voice coming from the Banno Driver.
"Yes, Mother."
Kamen Rider Gold Drive complies as he charges towards Kamen Rider Counter Drive, determined to destroy the Quirkless vigilante.
"*Gasp!* Is that… Gold Drive!?" Izuku asks aloud as he, Yuriko and his classmates observe the fight from the sidelines.
"There is no mistake. That black Drive Driver… It's the same one used by Banno." Yuriko comments as she glares at the device around Gold Drive's waist.
"Banno, as in the creator of the Roidmudes?" Kyoka asks the female detective, earning a nod from her.
"Is that you, Banno!?" Counter Drive questions the golden enemy, blocking all the blows his opponent tries to inflict on him.
But Gold Drive doesn't talk with him, being simply focused on taking the vigilante down.
'Not the talkative type, huh?' The Quirkless fighter ponders, avoiding a jab from his enemy before kicking him back in the stomach. 'So could you possibly be someone else?'
Gold Drive then forms a large yellow energy sphere on his hands before firing it at Counter Drive.
*Bam!*
The vigilante Rider treats the incoming attack like a soccer ball, kicking it away and towards above him as it hits the mall's ceiling, causing a small explosion around the area.
*Boom!*
Panic began to spread again across the area as the civilians that were still present at the location began to run around desperately towards the exit for their lives.
Seeing this, Yuriko makes her decision to intervene.
"Izuku-kun. Everyone. I have a favor to ask of all of you." She starts, addressing the Class 1-A students as they look at her in anticipation.
"What is it, Detective Shijima?" Ochako questions.
"I want to help Tomari-san against Gold Drive. But there are many civilians still here in the mall that need help. Can I count on you all to take care of them while we deal with things on our end?"
At this, the U.A. High students start to remember the talk the Drive Team was giving them the other day by asking them to mainly focus on the rescue and evacuation of civilians bystanders while they dealt with the Roidmudes. All so the Kamen Riders could freely fight without having to hold back, nor deal with possible collateral damage that could happen with innocent people getting accidentally caught in their fights.
Unlike Katsuki, who complained about this, Izuku and his classmates all nodded in understanding towards Yuriko. Despite civilian rescue and well-being not looking like a big deal for some Pro Heroes, they could see how much difference this could make for the Drive Team.
"Right! You can count on us, Yuriko-san!" A determined Izuku declares on behalf of Class 1-A, with his classmates all adopting the same resolve as him.
"Thank you, everyone." The policewoman smiles in appreciation for their cooperation, nodding to them in gratitude before she rushes towards somewhere safe to transform with her Mach Driver.

Drive 26: The Next Phase
[Kyoku(Zenith) Counter!]
By pressing the Boost Igniter of his Mach Driver four times, Kamen Rider Counter Drive taps into the power of the NEXTridoron Key.
Green aura covers his hands before he approaches Kamen Rider Gold Drive, immediately aiming a two-fisted punch on the Roidmude's torso.
*Fwoosh!*
"Reject!" The vigilante cries as the blow makes contact with his intended target, sending the golden warrior flying away.
*Bam!*
"Ah!" Gold Drive cries as he hits a wall, leaving a huge spider web crack on it.
Counter Drive summons his Blade Gunner and twirls it around before charging towards his opponent.
[Drive, use the [Gold Conversion].] Mother instructs her User, prompting him to fight back against their enemy by using another tactic.
"Yes, mother." He complies.
Just like in Banno's case, by turning the Advance Ignition on the Banno Driver, Gold Drive's Shift Tire ignites, allowing him to briefly steal his opponent's weapon or data. The support devices also seem to be obedient to him once they are swiped, and not even the Shift Tridoron Car was immune to this ability's effects.
This special ability is known as the [Gold Conversion], the power to steal from others.
*Flash!* *Blink!*
Following Mother's order, Gold Drive releases a wave of golden energy aura, from his Shift Tire, that washes all over the area, hitting Counter Drive in the process.
But much to the Roidmude Rider's shock, the [Gold Conversion] did not seem to affect the vigilant at all since it was unable to steal both the NEXTridoron Key and the Blade Gunner within the Quirkless Kamen Rider's possession.
"What!?" The Roidmude was taken aback as the vigilante once again strikes him, slashing him with his sharp weapon before kicking him away with a roundhouse kick.
'No way I'm letting you steal my items, you little sneaky bastard!' Counter Drive thinks as he looks at his arsenal.
The reason the [Gold Conversion] did not work at all now was because the ability was gradually rendered ineffective after Rinna put a [Data Coating] encryption on the Shift Cars and the Trailer-Hou to protect them from this ability, then the Signal Bikes received the same enhancement, which temporarily put Mach and Chaser out of action until it was completed.
In the eventual case the Drive Team would come to face an enemy similar to Banno in the new world, Krim followed Rinna's example and made the wide decision to also use the [Data Coating] on the rest of the Drive System's arsenal, which includes the weapons like the Blade Gunner, the Handle-Ken and the Door-Ju.
'I'm glad Belt-san had time to also prepare the [Data Coating] encryption to prevent our weapons from being stolen, now Gold Drive cannot steal anything from me!' Counter Drive thinks in satisfaction.
Gold Drive decides to switch to another tactic, producing an energy-made yellow-colored bow in his hands and using it to fire several arrows at his Quirkless enemy.
In response, Counter Drive snaps his fingers as a Shift Car comes to his aid.
*Beep!* *Beep!*
This time, it was Shift Amazing Circus.
[Shift Car! Tire Koukan! Bikkuri(Surprise)!]
The Mach Driver announces once Amazing Circus is inserted into its slot.
"Take this!" The golden Roidmude cries as he fires a large number of energy arrows at his target.
[Hissatsu! Full Throttle! Bikkuri!]
Tapping into the power of Amazing Circus, Counter Drive summons several firework rockets from out of thin air before prompting them to seek out his opponent's arrows.
The arrows and the rockets clash, causing a small explosion in the area as a result.
*Boom!*
A large smokescreen envelops the two of them, with Gold Drive trying to use it as camouflage to take his adversary by surprise.
Only to find out the vigilante was missing from his spot.
Confused, Gold Drive suddenly sees a shadow approaching him from above.
"Got you!" Counter Drive cries as he kicks him in the face, making the Roidmude skid backwards while bouncing a bit on the floor.
*Pow!*
"Argh!" The golden warrior grunts in pain as he charges towards the Quirkless human, now summoning energy blades in his hands.
He tries to slash the vigilante apart in two, but his enemy blocks all of his strikes with his Blade Gunner.
[Imasugu Tomarle!]
Suddenly, a familiar red and yellow energy bullet hits Gold Drive, freezing his body as a large 'STOP' sign envelops him.
Counter Drive turns to the side to see Kamen Rider Tracer joining them, having loaded Signal Tomarle into her Pat Megabo's Megaphone Mode before firing at the Roidmude.
"Tracer!" He addresses his partner, earning a nod from the masked woman.
She then pulls out the Zenrin Shooter, having already loaded Signal Kikern into its slot.
[Tottemo Kikern!]
*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*
Tracer fires several Demon Beasts at Gold Drive, with them all biting him as the living bullets embed themselves into their intended target, building up energy until they explode, causing massive damage to the golden Roidmude.
*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*
Stumbling around, it seemed that Gold Drive was now too injured to keep on fighting…
[Withdraw for now, Drive.]
Mother instructs her operator as the other Kamen Riders take notice of this, staring at the Banno Driver as they also hear an unfamiliar female voice come out of it.
'What the!? Who's that?' Tracer wondered.
"Yes, Mother." Gold Drive complies as his body is enveloped in a jumble of yellow data before he becomes Shift Gold Speed once more.
*Vrooom!*
Forced to flee, the small toy car makes its way to the mall's ceiling and quickly escapes through an opening there.
"No!" Counter Drive cries as he and Tracer try to take the evil Shift Car down, both firing at it with their respective firearm weapons.
But much to their dismay, the Ultimate Evolution Roidmude managed to eventually escape from the Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall.
"..."
As they are left behind to ponder about what just happened, Tracer faces her partner with a troubling question.
"That Gold Drive… It wasn't Banno, was he? Just who exactly was he then?"
"Who knows." Counter Drive replies grimly, equally puzzled. "But I have a nasty feeling that we will encounter him again very soon."
Nighttime
A few moments later…
Kiyoshi Police Station
Several Pro Heroes and the authorities finally arrived at the Shopping Mall to assess the situation as the place was temporarily closed down for investigation.
But the Kamen Riders have all left the area by this point.
Some people were called by the police to give their testimonies, with the kids of Class 1-A there being among them.
Right now, Yuuki and Yuriko, still wearing their casual attires, were waiting outside the interrogation room for Tsukauchi to finish questioning Izuku.
"So much for our day off." Yuriko grumbles as Yuuki could see how upset she was that their peaceful time at the shopping mall got interrupted because of Shigaraki Tomura and Gold Drive's appearances.
"Oh, it's you two. Tomari. Shijima."
The Rider duo turned to see the frail Yagi approaching them, wearing his suit.
"All Might? What are you doing here?" Yuriko questions him, surprised to see the Pro Hero there.
"I have heard about what happened. I came rushing as soon as I could because I was worried." Toshinori replies, adopting a serious expression. "It's not just about Shigaraki being there. But Gold Drive as well. Is that true?"
"Yeah, it is." Yuuki answers grimly. "I was facing Shigaraki Tomura when he suddenly appeared. And while I was busy dealing with Gold Drive, Shigaraki got away."
The [Decay] user was sneaky enough to run away and escape from the shopping mall while the vigilante was busy dealing with Gold Drive.
"Well, at least he won't be able to use his Quirk." Yuuki speaks in assurance, drawing a curious look from Toshinori.
"Does that have something to do with your [Imagine Breaker]?" He asks the Rider.
"Yeah. But it's different from the one I used on Bakugo. The Recusant's Sigil I marked Shigaraki with won't disappear in one week. It will stay with him for as long as I want." The male detective explains, showing his NEXTridoron Key to the Pro Hero and explaining to Yuriko and Yagi about his Counter Drive form.
"Well, good to hear. It's one less problem to worry about." Yuriko says to her partner, nodding in approval. "We'll get them next time."
"Right. But the Roidmudes now have one more troublesome foe for us to deal with. It seems that the creator of the Roidmudes, Banno Tenjuro, is finally back as well. I wonder how Krim is going to react to the news." Toshinori wonders.
"Actually, I don't think that was Banno. But rather, a new Roidmude that has the same abilities as him." Yuuki clarifies.
"What?" The frail blonde looks confused as the ravenette detective explains his opinion.
"Not only this Gold Drive 'lacked' emotions in comparison to a bastard like Banno, and he didn't even act like him, but there was also something really off with that black Drive Driver around his waist. I could hear a woman's voice coming from it, instructing that Roidmude. Kinda like me and Belt-san's connection." The cop Rider explains his view of Roidmude 109.
"I see. And it's numbered Core 109… From what I remember, 009 did say that the Roidmude Emperor could make more of them. I supposed this means that this Gold Drive was the first of the new ones that have yet to come." Yuriko deduces somberly.
"And that's not all. Things only got worse for us with today's incident." Yuuki speaks gravely, making his partner and Toshinori look at him in concern.
"What do you mean?" The Pro Hero questions, knowing he would not like what they were about to hear.
"With Gold Drive's appearance, the Roidmudes are now one member short of completing the Promised Number. They just need one more Ulmitate Evolution to cause the Global Freeze." The male Rider reveals as Yuriko and Toshinori look back at him with horrified expressions on their faces.
Meanwhile…
In a dark and abandoned alleyway somewhere within Kiyashi Ward…
*Vroom!*
The Shift Gold Speed Shift Car lands in a quiet and desolate space once it was far away enough from the Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall.
The minicar then transforms back into its Plain Human Type Roidmude form as 109 stands slowly up, carefully analyzing his surroundings and making sure there were no humans nearby.
[You must repair the damage you got from the Kamen Riders, Gold Drive.] Mother instructs him as her voice comes from the Banno Driver, with a pink light also showing up now on the device's circular screen. [And now that you have some data fighting them, we can measure their power and prepare a proper plan for the next time you face them.]
But none of this seemed to matter to her Operator.
"Mother, why was Gold Drive… Why was I born?" The Roidmude asks her innocently, somehow also feeling bothered by this sudden feeling of curiosity that came over him.
[A pointless question. You must get your mind off this needless distraction. Just do as you're told.] She replies emotionlessly.
"Oh…"
Although he complies with Mother, Gold Drive can't help but feel dejected with the vague answer. He wasn't satisfied, but he wouldn't question her either.
At least not yet...
"You seek answers."
Startled upon suddenly hearing the unfamiliar voice, the Kamen Rider turns towards the source as he happens to see a dark portal opening before him.
From it, three figures stepped out: The Roidmude Emperor, Legatus and Roidmude 5886.
While the mysterious mastermind was wearing his usual black robes, Legatus and 5886 were using dark cloaks to cover their bodies as they simply stood there to serve as their master's bodyguards.
The machine overlord calmly approaches the golden Kamen Rider, who was now on guard.
[Calm yourself, Drive. He is not showing any hostility towards us. He is the Roidmude Emperor, your creator.] Mother tells her partner, reassuring Gold Drive and prompting him to relax his stance.
As he stops before Roidmude 109, the Emperor speaks with him:
"You feel nothing. Nothing is real."
"..." The newly born android could only nod at this.
"But I can give you purpose." The mysterious leader offers, getting the younger Roidmude's attention. "Do you know who you are?"
"Kamen Rider… Gold Drive." 109 answers.
"Yes, that is right. This is the new you."
The emperor then offers a hand to his newest minion as he smiles.
"Now, let us fight together… My child."
At the League of Villains' hideout - Seedy Bar
"That fucking cheater… Dark Drive! Argh!"
An injured Tomura cries and curses as he is safely brought back to their hideout by Kurogiri.
The black mist found him and took him away from Kiyashi Ward as soon as he could.
Tomura now looked like something out of Silent Hill: he was paler than usual, his face and upper body was covered in bloody bandages, he breathed heavily with blood dripping from his mouth.
But worst of all, he couldn't even use his Quirk!
What did that asshole do with him!? And how he negated his [Decay]!?
"Shigaraki Tomura, I understand your anger but you must lie down!" Kurogiri implored. "Save your vitriol for All Might!"
At this, Shigaraki began to giggle, causing Kurogiri to step away from him again.
"Yes….The Symbol of Peace…." Tomura began to remember how overjoyed he was when he finally learned how to bring down society until he was beaten to near death by a certain armored man. "But it won't be just All Might that will suffer…that bastard in black…I'll kill him too…"
He then tore off the bloody bandages on his face to reveal an insane smile with maddened eyes as his psychopathic laughter grew louder; his anger and insanity numbing him to the searing pain his body was in.
"I'LL FUCKING KILL HIM!"
But an unexpected sight was waiting for them once the two got inside their shady bar…
Rather than being greeted by the rest of their band, Tomura and Kurogiri found the others laying down on the floor of the establishment while agonizing in pain.
"Argh… It hurts… It's hard to even breathe…" Himiko whines as she breathes heavily.
"Fuck… My body… It feels heavy…" Dabi grumbles as he tries in vain to stand up, only to fail and cry in pain.
"What the fuck is going on here!?" Tomura demands, trying to make sense of the sight before him.
"About time you showed up." An unfamiliar voice calls.
Just then, the pale man and Kurogiri noticed someone sitting by the bar's counter while drinking a cold mug of beer. The two also noticed a black energy aura coming from his body, which was flowing through the place while also being used to make everyone else there feel sick and weakened.
"Ugh! What the!? What is this feeling!?" Kurogiri grunts in pain as the aura suddenly hits him and Tomura, making them both drop to their knees as a sensation of sickness comes over the two of them as well.
"Argh! Y-You asshole! Who the fuck are you!?" Tomura demands from the newcomer, who just finished drinking his beer.
The individual slowly stands up from his spot and approaches the leader of the villain group, forcefully grabbing Tomura by the neck as a large malicious grin comes over his face.
"Argh! Let me go!" The hand-obsessed villain cries in agony, trying in vain to break himself free from the man's grasp.
"Let's have a chat, alright?" Terminus, in his human form, tells Tomura as his red eyes glow.
Elsewhere…
At a certain secret dark laboratory…
Dr. Garaki Kyudai was currently working on the latest Nomu models for his master, All For One.
He is a fairly old man of portly and short stature, being completely bald and has a very large and bushy mustache. As a villain, he wears a rather peculiar set of goggles that are shaped somewhat like gears, along with a white, buttoned-up lab coat.
Kyudai has incredible knowledge of Quirks, being considered an expert in the field. He also possesses a biological and technological genius. His remarkable intelligence has allowed him to create copies of countless Quirks to implant into his Nomu.
But lately, the mad scientist has been in a 'slump'.
All thanks to certain Kamen Riders that made short work of his Nomus whenever they came into contact with his deformed creations.
"Dammit! It's no use!" Garaki cries in despair as he struggles, slamming his hands against a nearby console. "No matter what Nomu I try to create, those Kamen Riders seem to be able to easily take care of them! What am I supposed to do!?"
Kyudai is very prideful of his Nomu creations, referring to them as "children" and regarding the High-End ones as "masterpieces." He treats Nomus as offerings for All For One, although he has allowed some of them to be used by Tomura under his master's wishes.
But his ego took a hard hit ever since he got reports of how the Kamen Riders could easily destroy his monsters without struggling. Something that even All Might was incapable of doing right now given his body's current condition.
And it seemed that creating a specific Nomu to destroy them was impossible!
"Ah, so this is where the Nomus are produced. I see, quite an interesting lab you got here."
Upon hearing the unfamiliar voice echo over his laboratory, Garaki couldn't help but flinch as a chill ran down his spine.
He was not alone there anymore…
Someone was watching him work! But for how long!?
'Who!? What was that!?' The bald man thinks nervously, his head sweating nonstop as he refuses to move to take a look around.
Suddenly, a pair of arms belonging to a Plain Spider Type Roidmude forcefully grab him by the shoulders, further scaring the scientist.
"Your knowledge of Quirks shall be put into good use for the sake of His Majesty."
The last thing Garaki gets to see is the menacing sight of Roidmude 004 before being assaulted by the android and receiving a 'jumpscare' from the mechanical monster.
"Ahhhhh!"
No matter how loud he screamed, nobody would come to the mad scientist's aid given his laboratory was soundproofed…
With All For One…
A few rather visibly large bumps had occurred in these last few months and they were starting to grow in terms of influence and irritation.
Within a dark room, the sinister man who was known to the world as the Symbol of Evil tries to hold a deep frown within his deformed face as he turns to the monitor before him.
It showed him Musutafu City…
And within said city was a dangerous and unpredictable variable that went against many of his future plans for the world.
Ever since their debut, All For One had kept a wary eye upon these individuals, always taking every chance he could to observe them in action and formulating plans against them.
These individuals seemed to exist outside the Quirks' workings.
Outside what he was familiar with…
Their powers and abilities were both astonishing and frightening, something that didn't sit well in any way shape, or form with the Symbol of Evil.
But he was still utterly confident in all of his plans to come.
But he'd be a fool if he were to deny the dangerous threat that these Kamen Riders and Roidmudes pose to him and the grand plan of the 'demon lord'.
Right now, he'd rather not think about that matter…
There was still work to be done, information to gather from U.A. and the Hero network and to distribute to Tomura and the rest of the League in order to keep this war going.
Returning to his desk from his momentary break, Shigaraki(AFO) resumed his work on his console.
That was until it suddenly went out.
'Frowning' a little, he went to turn it back on but it was not responding at all.
Before long, he decided to call for maintenance to come in to look into the problem.
But like his console, the systems were not working.
Which only left one thing.
"...Not this again…"
All For One previously dealt with a similar mess when one of the Nomus the Doctor was experimenting on caused an accidental power surge in this hideout. He did not want to deal with another such predicament ever again.
Planned as it may be, it was still a pain to deal with.
Then, All For One's expression suddenly froze.
He did plan for the Doctor's experiments and side effects.
But the dark mastermind did not plan for this.
Now that he thought about it, Garaki was not even here. He was doing his tests back at his hospital in Jaku City.
"Hehehe…"
A moment later, a sinister and dark metallic chuckle was heard.
"!?"
All For One whirled about to see if it came from behind or anything close by.
Taking a moment, the Villain realized the chuckle could be heard from within the room, causing him to become alarmed.
He looked around each corner to see if this intruder was here…
Only to find nothing.
His ugly face adopts a neutral expression at this, wondering where the source of this came from.
A moment later, the metallic laugh was heard once again, this time being much louder.
Shigaraki walked over to the emergency console and pressed down on it.
He assumed that there was a likely chance that it wasn't going to work and it turned out to be true.
"Damn it. What is-"
"Oh it does function properly, but I pulled the plug at this time."
All For One snapped his head around, wondering how someone snuck into his chamber without knowing.
So that laugh had a voice to it.
It sounded… human… yet also robotic and droid-like.
"Who goes there?"
"The great All For One… The only Villain All Might came to ever fear…" The voice said mockingly. "Now looking not much better than a potato…"
The screen of the computer in his room flared to life and showed the hologram of the Freeze Roidmude. Larger than All For One and All Might, he could arguably be more menacing in appearance than the two of them combined.
"Hello, hello there. Glad to make your acquaintance, face to face as it were." Freeze starts. "It's about time we have a chat."
A Couple Days Later...
David stood at the airport exit, luggage in hand. He took a deep breath, and sighed.
So, this was it.
He was finally going to meet with the Drive Team today.
The Support Items Designer didn't know yet about everything he wanted to talk about with them. What was he going to ask his mentor? So many thoughts were still going through his head, and he was having trouble-
"Excited to see Uncle Might, dad?"
David was snapped out of his thoughts as he turned to a blonde long-haired girl with blue eyes and glasses. The splitting image of her late mother, save for the glasses. His wife Carol never wore glasses like them.
"Y-Yeah, it's been a while," he said, smiling at Melissa.
"I know! I can't wait to see him either!" she said, practically bouncing at the thought of seeing her beloved Uncle Might.
"Right. But just where is he? I know I sent him our itinerary-"
"HAHAHA!"
David and Melissa turned to their right, and saw All Might standing outside of a UA bus, laughing as people waiting for their rides stared and gawked that the Number One Hero of Japan was there for some reason.
"I AM HERE! To pick up an old friend and his beautiful daughter!"
"Uncle Might!" Melissa said, running to All Might and hugging him.
The jaws of everyone around them dropped as they watched this foreign girl hug All Might with zero issues or hesitation.
"Hahaha! Why Melissa, you've gotten so big! Last time I saw you, you were just up to my knee!" All Might laughed.
"I haven't been that small for years, Uncle Might!" Melissa pouted.
"And Dave! It's so great to see you in person after so long!" All Might said, coming in and giving the brown bespectacled man a bear hug.
"I-It's great to see you again, All Might!" David laughed. "But can you let go? I'm having a hard time breathing."
"Of course!" All Might laughed, as he opened the bus door. "I'm so glad that we're getting a chance to spend some time together before I-Expo!"
"So why are you picking us up with a bus, Uncle Might? We don't have that much stuff," Melissa said, looking at the UA bus.
"Well, you see, it's because I wanted to pick you both up myself, but we... didn't have any cars that could fit me, and the biggest vehicle we had is this bus," All Might admitted.
"Ha, that's smart!" Melissa laughed, preparing to walk in. "Come on, we just gotta go see UA High and all the Hero Course students you told us about then!"
"Oh, but there's someone else also eager to meet David. They have been waiting for him here with me!" Toshinori says as he gestures to two individuals walking towards them.
"Professor!" David calls in surprise as he sees his mentor and Kanade joining the three of them.
"David, my boy! It's good to see you!" Krim greets his protégé, embracing him in a hug.
"Likewise, Professor." David replies, smiling warmly at the older man.
The I-Island scientist then looks at Kanade, greeting the secretary next.
"Thank you for coming here despite your busy schedule, Mr. Shield." The short-haired bluenette tells him.
"Think nothing of it, Mrs. Haibara. I'm glad to be here to help with whatever I can."
Curious, Melissa was looking between the newcomers and her father, wondering what sort of relationship he had with them.
Noticing this, Krim smiles warmly at her.
"Ah, Melissa. It's been a while, isn't it?" The CEO asks her.
"Huh? You know me?" The blonde girl asks back.
She of course immediately knew that the gentleman before her was one of the most influential individuals in the IT Community and the CEO of one of the world's top companies.
But for him to personally know her?
It was certainly surprising…
"But of course. You may not remember me because you were little back then, but I used to visit your family quite a lot back then when I was still living in the United States." Krim explains to her. "I even held you once in my arms when you were still a baby."
"What?" Melissa asks again, still surprised by what she just heard.
She then turns to her father, hoping that David can explain things to her.
"Professor Krim Steinbelt was my mentor back in my college days, Melissa." David reveals, surprising her. "Just like All Might, he is a good friend of mine. And almost like a second father to me. I wouldn't be who I am today if he hadn't taken me under his wing."
"I-I see."
"It's not surprising that you didn't know, Melissa." Krim tells her. "Since I came to Japan, I have been a lot busy with work and wasn't able to stay in regular contact with David. So him also talking to you about me was a topic he probably never managed to bring up due to several reasons. Unlike in Toshinori's case."
David nods at this.
"But that's in the past now." Toshinori says, as he places a friendly hand on each of the men's shoulders. "Regardless of what led to this, it's a good thing that we can talk like this. We have a lot to catch up on."
Krim and David smiled at this, nodding to the hero in agreement.
"That we do." David says in response.
"Alright then. Let's get going to U.A." Krim says next, now sounding pleased and eager.
"Huh? You're also going there with us, Mr. Steinbelt?" Melissa asks him.
"Yes. Aside from a personal matter I have to settle with David and Toshinori, I have other business to attend to there."
This information also piqued David's curiosity while Toshinori seemed to have an idea of what the older scientist was thinking about.
"So you have an answer? Are you going to see her, Krim?" The hero asks the CEO.
"Yes. I want to have a word with that girl. I want to see what she can show me."
"Who are you two talking about?" David asks his friends.
"We'll tell you on the way, David." All Might assured him as the group now heads towards the bus.
"Here, let me help you with your luggage." Kanade offers as she assists Melissa, helping the girl take her luggage to the bus.
"Thanks… Er… Mrs…"
"Kanade. Haibara Kanade. I'm Krim's secretary." The Roidmude in disguise says, introducing herself to the blonde girl with a friendly tone and smile.
While the two girls were busy, the others were still talking and whispering things to each other.
"She's a real go-getter, isn't she?" All Might said as he looked at Melissa, crossing his arms. "Just like her mother."
"Yeah... you sure you're alright with picking us up with your muscle form? I mean, you must be-" David began to say in a low voice and away from Melissa's ears, remembering Yagi's weak body condition.
But All Might stopped him.
"It's alright, Dave. I wanted to come to get you and Melissa. After all, it's been quite some time since we've seen each other in person. Besides, I have a feeling that you're going to love meeting the next generation and Young Midoriya."
"O-Of course... of course," David said, looking to the side. "It's still unbelievable to think about all the things Professor Steinbelt kept from us... Not to mention that multiverse theory is now a multiverse fact."
"Trust me, David. About what I told you back at the manor… Believe me, you're still just scratching the surface of something much bigger…" Krim tells his former student with an amused smile.
"It is a lot to take in, I know, David." All Might said, agreeing with his old friend as they both turned to face the old scientist. "But you just gotta learn how to roll with the punches. Anyways, we've dilly-dallied long enough. C'mon, let's get to UA."
The group was soon on the road, with the bus smoothly heading towards U.A. High.
However, an obstacle suddenly appears in their way.
"What the!?" Toshinori has to stop driving, halting the vehicle as a person manifests before them.
*Sreeech!*
"What's wrong, Toshi!? Why did you stop so suddenly?" David asks Yagi, getting to his side.
Quiet, the hero couldn't help but simply point at the individual that was now standing menacingly in front of the bus, with their arms crossed.
David gasps as he and All Might instantly recognize the new person.
"Krim?" The I-Island scientist questioned.
It was indeed 'Krim Steinbelt'.
However, this man was wearing a dark trench coat, with a bulletproof vest underneath it and a scarf wrapped around his neck. Furthermore, this 'Krim' has some sort of futuristic scanner attached to his glasses. And both David and Toshinori couldn't help but feel malice and evil intentions coming from this doppelganger.
"What's going on!? Huh? Professor Steinbelt?" Melissa questions as she also comes closer to the bus' front to take a look, simply becoming confused at seeing another Professor Steinbelt before them.
She looks between the man that is with them and the one dressed in dark clothes.
"It's Roidmude 004!" Kanade says instantly, warning the others.
"R-Roidmude?" While Melissa becomes puzzled by the mysterious term, Toshinori and David quickly get on their guard.
Seeing their reactions, 'Krim' sneers at them before transforming into his Plain Spider Type Roidmude form.
"A Villain attack!?" Melissa questions, now becoming frightened of the monster before their group.
004 snaps his fingers as several Reaper Unit Roidmudes show up at the scene, ready to attack the group.
"Watch out!" Krim cries as All Might grabs Melissa and David before quickly exiting the bus from a back window, with the older scientist and his secretary following after him.
*Crash!*
The androids are relentless, quickly destroying the large vehicle before surrounding the group of five.
All Might grits his teeth at this, preparing himself to fight against the mechanical monsters.
But Krim suddenly blocks him with an arm, shaking his head to the Symbol of Peace.
"No, Toshinori. Let me take care of them." He quickly tells the Pro Hero before taking a glance at David and Melissa. "I want you and Kanade to take David and Melissa away to somewhere safe."
This shocked the other humans while Kanade nodded in compliance.
"What!? Professor… Don't tell me…! You plan to fight them on your own!?" A shocked David questions.
How he plans to do that when Tomari Yuuki is not with them!?
"But you can't! You're not a hero, Mr. Steinbelt!" Melissa adds before taking a look at All Might. "Besides, Uncle Might will take care of them in an instant."
However, the others grimaced at this comment. Melissa becomes confused as she notices this.
What's wrong with them? Why are they reacting like that?
"Krim, Terminus is not here! I think I can take care of them!" Yagi tries to argue back.
But this wasn't enough to convince the elder.
"The one attacking us is another Executive rank enemy. Even if Terminus is absent, this doesn't mean they won't attack us. It's precisely because they have other ways to deal with you that they are bold enough to appear before us." Krim warns the Pro Hero as Yagi doesn't have a comeback for that.
Kanade grabs David by the shoulder, looking firmly between him and Toshinori.
"Krim knows what he is doing. Especially when it comes to Roidmudes. Believe in him." She tells the two men.
"Haibara…" Toshinori trailed off before he and David looked at each other, eventually conceding to their old friend's wish.
*Beep!* *Beep!*
Suddenly, several Shift Cars showed up and began to attack the Reaper Units, creating some distance between the group and the machine monsters.
"Huh!? Toy cars!?" Melissa questioned, wondering where they came from.
"Now, go!" Krim orders them as everybody else runs away, leaving him behind.
David takes his daughter by the wrist and immediately moves, with All Might and Kanade standing between the Shields and acting as their bodyguards.
Some of the Shift Cars follow them, protecting the humans and Kanade from the Reaper Units that started to pursue them.
Krim and 004 stay behind, both planning to settle the lingering score they had to settle.
"So you plan to buy time for your companions to escape by holding me back? How noble of you, Krim Steinbelt." 004 says mockingly, clapping his hands in sick amusement.
"Enough, you inferior copy! I won't let the knowledge you copied from me continue being used for evil." Krim argues back, now sounding enraged.
"You really plan to fight me despite not having your Operator around, Krim?" The Spider Roidmude questions with a sneer.
*Poof!*
In response, Krim simply transforms into his floating Belt-san form. The Shift Brace also manifests before the sentient Drive Driver as Shift Next Special comes into view, inserting itself into the wrist device.
"What!?" 004 was taken aback, certainly not expecting that.
[Henshin!] Belt-san chants as the transformation process begins.
[Drive! Type Next!]
Now Kamen Rider Dark Drive - Type Next was standing before Roidmude 004.
'He can actually fight without a user!? But how!?' An astonished 004 thinks, trying to process what the human did.
However, he soon comes to the conclusion that what Krim was doing is making use of the autopilot function that Kamen Rider Dark Drive comes with, just as shown during the events of 'Surprise Future' when 'Tomari Eiji'(Roidmude 108) was shown controlling an 'empty' Dark Drive armor without having to equip himself with it.

In the dystopian future of year 2035, the Drive Driver has been modified and upgraded. Though the Krim Steinbelt AI in the driver is gone or nonexistent, the Drive Driver has an autonomous mode that allows the Drive Driver to fight without a host. The Krim Steinbelt AI from 2015 is eventually restored onto the 2035 Drive Driver during Surprise Future.

"Ah, I see. So you can actually fight on your own now." 004 comments flatly as he takes a look at his base template, the human he copied.
'I have learned from my own weaknesses and mistakes back in my homeworld. Heart killed me for the first time because I couldn't fight back. And fighting alongside Shinnosuke later showed me that I had to be more than simply some transformation device for him to make use of. Just like how I was actually 'able' to fight against the Roidmudes when Type Tridoron was unlocked and I could take control of his body sometimes.' Dark Drive(Belt-san) thinks carefully.
In comparison to his previous hosts and Yuuki, Krim was still not really much of a fighter. But that doesn't mean he was busy just working on the Rider System. Whenever he could, the scientist would also spend some time training his body to fight against his mechanical enemies.
Especially in case he came to a potential situation in which he would be separated from Yuuki and become unable to fight together with his Operator…
He would need means to at least defend himself properly this time.
But he couldn't deny either that Dark Drive was still at his peak when he has a proper user to adorn the black armor.
"Impressive. Very impressive indeed, Krim." 004 tells Belt-san. "However, you are not the only one to have learned a new trick here."
After saying that, the Spider Type Roidmude's body becomes enveloped in a jumble of red-colored data as he suddenly evolves, also adopting a new form.
[What the...!?] Belt-san becomes briefly horrified as he sees what 004 has evolved into.
He now looked like a monstrous version of Kamen Rider Drive - Type Speed. To be more specific, Roidmude 004 has now evolved into a monster that looks exactly like the malicious being known as Another Drive, a creature that was originally part of the Another Riders: a group of monstrous Kamen Riders whose powers are derived from their original counterparts.
004 has finally achieved his evolution, becoming the Another Drive Roidmude.
"Now then, let's take you for a ride!" Another Drive says before he charges toward Dark Drive(Belt-san).
Meanwhile…
"C'mon! This way!"
All Might was leading the group through an alleyway as they got further away from Krim and 004.
Melissa was still struggling to understand what was fully going on as her father was running beside her. And Kanade was right behind them, watching their backs.
"Ha! Got you!"
Suddenly, a Reaper Unit shows up beside the teenage girl, ready to cut her with a scythe.
"Ah!" Melissa screams in terror at this while All Might and David become horrified, with the former also being busy fighting other Roidmudes and trying to keep them away from their group.
"Melissa!" David cries, already fearing the worst.
But before the worst can happen, Kanade quickly moves between them and stops the Reaper Unit's attack, jabbing the Roidmude's chest and stealing the android's scythe.
*Slash!*
Immediately, the secretary slashes the enemy with their own weapon before proceeding to attack other units nearby.
"Ha!" The bluenette cries, swinging the scythe around as she shows some mastery over the sharp weapon.
Briefly surprised at the display, David and Toshinori relax upon seeing that Melissa was fine, with no injuries present on her thanks to the disguised Roidmude's aid.
"Are you alright, Melissa?" Kanade asks the blonde girl, offering a hand to her.
"Thanks, Mrs. Haibara." A grateful Melissa replies, accepting the hand.
The bluenette nods to her as the four keep running.
'Is she really just a secretary? I wonder what kind of Quirk she has?' Melissa thinks, carefully analyzing Kanade's moves as the latter was still holding on to the scythe she just stole.
However, the group was far from being safe.
They noticed the Reaper Units following them have decided to suddenly retreat, now allowing other Roidmudes to face them.
The Malware Roidmude then appears before them, his arms behind his back as he looks at the group with disdain.
"You…! You're the other Roidmude that was with Terminus when he attacked U.A.! Malware!" All Might cries, glaring at the black mechanical monster.
"Yes, that's right." The Executive affirms uncaringly. "But I'm not here today to deal with you, All Might."
The 003 Roidmude now stares at David.
"Now, Mr, Shield. If you could quietly come with me." Malware orders, extending a hand towards said Support Items creator. "It would be in everyone's best interests that you comply. Otherwise, your companions may end up getting killed before I take you by force."
Upon hearing those ominous words, a chill ran down the spine of the humans while Kanade was simply sweating nervously, failing to keep a neutral expression on her face.
'They are after David!? But why!?' Toshinori wondered, eyes widening in concern.
The gears in his mind begin to quickly work, coming to the conclusion that the Roidmudes probably want David's memories and knowledge for the sake of whatever secret plans they have in store.
Just like how 004 copied Krim's data in order to create the Sigma Circular…
"Over my dead body! I'm not letting you lay a hand on anyone here, Roidmude!" All Might declares, ready to charge at Malware.
*Fwoosh!*
But before his fist can connect with the android's head, a blue energy shield manifests in front of the Executive, easily halting the Pro Hero's moves as it protects the 003 Roidmude.
"Ugh!" All Might grits his teeth at this, trying to force his way.
But the shield was not cracking…
"Is that all [One For All] is capable of? Perhaps you give yourself too much credit sometimes, Mr. Symbol of Peace." Malware mocks the human. "Ah, so predictable… Relying so much on your precious Quirks… That's why this world's so-called heroes don't stand a chance against us…"
"Uncle Might…" Melissa looks in concern upon seeing how her uncle is struggling to fight back against this cyclops villain.
Malware then pulls out a switch and shows it to Toshinori before suddenly pressing it.
*Click!*
"Ah!" Toshinori cries in pain and drops to the floor, with his hands holding his head.
Unfazed, Malware dismisses his shield and calmly walks past the fallen hero, ignoring the man's cries of pain.
"What!? What just happened!?" A horrified David questioned.
Malware briefly looks at the device he just used as he comes closer to his target.
The switch was an item given to him by the Freeze Roidmude that could be used to cause intense headaches to anyone that was targeted by the 001 Executive, just like in Toshinori's case. The device would send a signal to the ice needle inserted into the Symbol of Peace's brain, making it cause intense pain to its intended victim.
"Mr. Shield! Take your daughter and run!" Kanade tells father and daughter as she prepares to fight the Executive. "I will buy you some time!"
"Haibara!" David calls the bluenette as she runs towards Malware, ready to swing her scythe at him.
"Cross Laser!"
But the Advanced Roidmude simply uses his special technique, blasting the secretary away with a cross-shaped energy projectile as she crashes against a nearby wall.
*Crash!*
"Huh…" Kanade grunts in pain, her head bleeding as she passes away.
"Mrs. Haibara!" Melissa cries as the Shields are now the only ones left standing.
*Beep!* *Beep!*
The Shift Cars sent to protect the group try to attack the Roidmude Executive next, but they are also sent away and scatter across the area as Malware makes use of an energy release technique.
"Now then, come. I'm not repeating myself again, Mr. Shield." Malware orders David.
But the I-Island scientist was not moving, simply deciding to protect his daughter by standing in front of her and using his own body as a shield.
"Melissa, stay behind me!"
"B-But dad…!"
Both were too terrified to try running away from there. Especially because they don't want to leave All Might and Kanade behind.
"I see… So perhaps I have to kill your daughter, huh?" The Roidmude coldly asks, further scaring the Shields with his uncaring attitude.
He produces a lightsaber and points it at Melissa, ready to pierce her with it.
'Someone… P-Please… H-Help us…!' Melissa cries, closing her eyes as tears appear.
"Stop right there!"
*Slash!*
Kamen Rider Tracer suddenly lands before them, slashing Malware with her Pat Megabo's Baton Mode before pushing him away with a spinning kick into his stomach.
"Huh!?" Melissa becomes shocked at the sight of their unexpected savior while David seemed relieved upon recognizing who just arrived to their rescue.
"Grrr… Kamen Rider… Tracer…!" Malware growls once he recovers from the blow, his apathetic mask slipping away as he becomes furious upon meeting the Quirkless human that once defeated him.
'Kamen Rider?' Melissa ponders, becoming intrigued upon hearing the vigilante title.
"Are you two okay?" Tracer turns to the Shields, checking their condition.
"Y-Yeah." David nods to her. "Thanks."
"Good. Don't worry, you can leave the rest to me." The female Rider kindly reassures them as she glares back at Malware. "It seems you're up to no good again, Malware."
"You will pay back for the humiliation you gave me back then, Tracer." The Executive states with deep hatred, pointing a finger at her. "I will make an example of you, human!"
"Fine by me! Bring it on! I will beat you as many times as necessary!" The police-themed Kamen Rider responds back, clenching her fist before the evil android.
Back with Belt-san…
*Bam!*
"Argh!"
[Ugh!]
Kamen Rider Dark Drive(Belt-san) and Another Drive kept exchanging intense blows with each other.
Eventually, both fighters end up hitting each other's chests with a strong punch, causing a powerful shockwave that sends them flying away to opposite directions of the road that became their fighting arena.
"Huff… Huff… I suppose I should have at least expected this much resistance from my originator…" Another Drive says flatly as he stands up again, looking down at Belt-san, who was now struggling a bit to stand up. "But it seems that you still aren't used to fully fighting on your own. I guess this is the end of the road for you."
He then points a large cannon, at point blank, at Dark Drive(Belt-san), ready to use it to disintegrate the sentient Drive Driver into nothing.
[D-Damn…] Belt-san cursed his current predicament.
*Vroom!*
But suddenly, the NEXTridoron comes into view and quickly approaches them, hitting Another Drive and sending him away from Belt-san as the Type Next falls apart.
*Smack!*
As the black Mercedes-like car stops next to the sentient transformation device, Yuuki steps out of it.
[Nice timing, Yuuki!] Belt-san compliments his user, attaching himself around the cop's waist while the ravenette places the Shift Brace around his wrist.
"We have already been informed of the situation. Yuriko is watching after Mr. Shield and the others while we take care of this guy, Belt-san." The detective replies as he inserts Shift Speed Wild Technique(Trinity) into the Shift Brace, now ready to transform.
[Good! Then let's take care of my impostor!]
"Right! Henshin!"
[OverDrive! Type Trinity!]
Now Kamen Rider OverDrive - Type Trinity would be the one to face the Another Drive Roidmude.
And speaking of the Executive, he reappears before the Quirkless human and Belt-san with his own 'Rider Machine'.
"Come, Another Tridoron!"
*Vroom!* *Vroom!*
As if on cue, a demonic-looking version of the original red Tridoron responds to Another Drive's call: the Another Tridoron.

Another Tridron is an evil counterpart of Tridoron Type Speed. It was destroyed by Kamen Rider Grand Zi-O & Kamen Rider Drive's All Twenty Time Break and Speedrop.

Both Rider Machines then proceed to head towards each other at full throttle, firing their laser beams with the sole intent of destroying the opposing counterpart.
The Closing Screen of this chapter shows Shift Amazing Circus, Shift Next Special, the NEXTridoron Key and Shift Gold Speed, side by side, with the logo of Kamen Rider Dark Drive behind them.

In this story, Kamen Rider Gold Drive won't be able to easily steal the equipment of the Drive Team, such as the Shift Cars and Signal Bikes, with his [Gold Conversion] ability because of the [Data Coating] method Sawagami Rinna had created and Krim/Belt-san decided to further implement. It would be logical for this to end happening considering the good guys had time to prepare themselves against the Roidmudes. However, I have certain plans to give Gold Drive's ability the power to steal something else besides the Drive Riders' weapons and items.
With the Roidmudes finally making contact with the League of Villains, I will try to make the interaction between the two groups turn into something different from the cliché route of having the bad guys join forces simply because the heroes have done that before them. Especially considering that All For One and the Roidmude Emperor will not submit to each other so willingly. And if anything, things might end up with the Roidmudes having control over the League of Villains.
With Yuuki being able to transform into Kamen Rider Counter Drive on his own with the Mach Driver and after rewatching the Kamen Rider Drive: Surprise Future movie, I decided to also give Krim/Belt-san the capacity to fight on his own by transforming into Kamen Rider Dark Drive and using the autopilot function that the form has. Of course, he won't be as strong as the default Type Next without a human user to fight with.
I have watched the episodes of Kamen Rider Zi-O that featured Another Drive and decided to put him in this story. I know that he is supposed to be the Paradox Roidmude(108), but since I have other plans for that monster, I decided to have another Roidmude evolve into the monstrous form of Drive Type Speed. Roidmude 004 ends up being the one chosen for that role given that he is an evil copy of Krim.
Just finished watching Kamen Rider Outsiders Ep. 2 and the preview for Ep.3 got me even more excited! Seeing Banno possibly return as (Kamen Rider) 'Bronze Drive' makes me wonder if I can later use that form in this story. Just sucks that I will have to wait until July to see what it is capable of.

Well, I just wanted to come up with a situation in which Yuuki would not be able to quickly get Belt-san in order to transform into Drive Type Next. Hence, I thought the previous chapter would be the perfect opportunity for him to use the form he can only access through the use of a Mach Driver alongside the NEXTridoron Key.

I'm still not sure if I should later give Kaito/Lupin a power-up or not. And if I end up doing that, it would not happen any time soon.
As for the Beros' situation, I'm mainly planning to make that happen if I decide to make the OC that is going to become Kamen Rider Mach, in this story, a person that decides to desert from Humarise. Still thinking about whether I should really do that or not.
No, I do not play Yu-Gi-Oh!. I have simply watched most of the animes until Vrains!
