Hey everyone, I know that it has been a long while since I last uploaded a chapter and much has happened in the FNAF universe since August. I thank you for your patience, especially Doctor Chaotic, (love the name btw) and now it can be rewarded.

Fazbears Frights 'Bunny Call' came out and I really like how it and the preceding books are (excuse the pun) stitching the story of the Stitchwraith together, with it being a shared universe. Although 'In the Flesh' carries a lot of interesting implications and a way for many of FNAF's previously 'dead' characters to return (if you've read the book and its setting, then you'll know what I am referring to).

Loved Bunny Call, it carried its tension well and the Man in Room 1280 was very intriguing and an interesting change to the other stories that we have gotten so far.

Also, we finally got footage for FNAF Security Breach and wow, it looks absolutely breath taking!

Given what the trailer showed us, it seems that we might be switching between playing as Gregory and the security guard and the Glamrocks will actually be helping us (at first. . .).

Or we could just be playing as Gregory in the prologue and the security guard is our main character for the rest of the game.

Either way hats off to Steel Wool for a good first impression, hopefully we will get more gameplay footage in the near future. I suspect that the game will be launched in November as that's when the Playstation Five is being released.

Seeing a FNAF game being teased alongside the likes of Resident Evil, Spiderman and Call of Duty, it really shows how far the franchise has come, after initially being Scott's last game when he received tons of criticism for his previous works.

Thank you Scott Cawthon for making Five Nights at Freddy's and long may it continue. . .

Now regarding this chapter, this was originally much larger, but in the end, it simply become too big and I had to split it in half, so Chapter 54 should be uploaded sometime next month.

Hopefully, my upload speed will be quicker than before, but we'll see.

A huge thank you to both Fer09 and AugustFrost12, I deeply appreciate you leaving reviews.

Yes, Vincent Afton is the father of Thomas Afton aka Tommy and everything falls into place. . .well most of it does. Although there is still much about this connection to be revealed, I will say that this is largely where the main difference between Vincent Afton and William Afton lies, it being their motivation for why they carried out such murderous actions. – Even if some of you could see it coming or even suspected this reveal, then I hope that the impact landed well and that it didn't appear to come out of nothing.

Indeed August, with Elizabeth Afton being canon as well as that drawing of Circus Baby, FNAF Sister Location will actually be a part of this story, as well as several non-FNAF related things!

Yes Fer09, Vincent is pretty much responsible for everything, but in the eyes of the possessed prop suits he didn't actually cause their deaths, so he is technically off the hook. Yet in their vengeful mental state they may very well attack him, as the immorality of his crimes far outweigh anything done by the children, even though they've accumulated a much larger body count.

As for the demon that Tommy has within him and what became of the rest of the Afton family, you'll find out eventually.

Also a huge thank you to both Rabbistar and LadyKDQ for favouriting this story, although we have come far, there is much more in terms of story/plot to be revealed. ;-)

Apologies for any lingering grammar mistakes.

Chapter 53

Shadows Within Shadows.

"Somethings can only be seen in the shadows."

Carlos Ruizz Zafons

Half an hour earlier. . .

Nightmare Mangle's eyes burned out of the darkness like the vibrant eyes of a predator, as she hung from the ceiling like a snake lying in the grass waiting to pounce. Although she had no intention to do so, as she could spy out the faint figures of both Charlie and Cassidy running further into the darkness at the far end of the hallway.

"Run all you like, you are not the first victims to have fallen into our trap, our labyrinth, the darkness will not hide you," she whispered harshly under her breath.

"This place was our womb, our home, it will betray you to us."

She then felt a whoosh of air from underneath her and looked down to see Nightmarionne gliding across the floor like a shadow, with the Nightmare speaking with great curiosity as she did.

"If I were them, I would either try to find an exit point in desperation to escape, or. . ."

Her tone then changed, now sounding amused.

"I'd find a place to hide and wait things out."

"They'll certainly do one or the other," Nightmare Fredbear muttered nonchalantly, his scarlet red eyes sweeping the area ahead of him like a searchlight. He stood before the doorway to Tommy's heavily damaged bedroom.

"Regardless we will find them, even if they call in the remaining children to help them out, that'll just add to the fun," he remarked coldly.

He then walked forward, casting a sweeping glance at the nearby wall upon which hung several pictures.

"Wait. . .hang on," he mentally whispered in surprise, realising that he had noticed an irregularity.

He looked back, quickly finding the source of his confusion.

One of the pictures was gone with there being a faded outline of where it once hung.

"Interesting," he muttered, gazing at the vacant spot.

Quickly, looking down at the floor, he could see that it hadn't fallen off its holdings, as there were no traces of shattered glass to be found.

He felt a shadowy presence brush past him, and he briefly glanced over in its direction to see Nightmarionne also being intrigued by the missing picture.

Her white dots for eyes widen as she swiftly reached out and traced the picture's faded outline with her long claws, running her jagged vine like fingers along the aged wallpaper.

"They've taken 'that' picture," she whispered, sounding rather shocked.

"The Afton Family picture. . ."

She turned to face Nightmare Fredbear, uttering in a voice that barely betrayed a fearful tone.

"This is bad. . ."

Nightmare Fredbear narrowed his eyes as he spoke in a serious manner.

"So, they have, that is a concern Nightmarionnie as you've noted, but what matters above all is that they cannot be allowed to share the significance behind that picture or anything else that they might uncover in here."

He flexed his claws menacingly as he turned to face Nightmarionnie, his scarlet red eyes burning into her ghostly white dots as he continued to speak.

"No more fooling around, they cannot be allowed to escape this place and I would rather have their will be ripped out of them instead of having them run around in endless circles inside an ever shifting maze."

"Even though that would be entertaining, we can't afford to give them any breathing room."

"Well," Nightmarionne began, speaking nonchalantly, although in her eyes she looked serious.

"The house will hopefully delay them, and we know this rabbit warden inside out."

"Although that's not to say that they won't fight like a cornered animal when we do catch up to them."

"Given what we will put them all through, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest," Nightmare Fredbear remarked, turning away from Nightmaronnie and looking up at Nightmare Mangle.

In his vision he could see beyond the darkness that kept the ceiling shrouded and easily spot Nightmare Mangle clinging to the hallway ceiling. She was like a spider, posed to race across the ceiling's surface in quick pursuit of the children.

"Nightmare Mangle, what do they know so far, you heard more than we did?" he asked curiously.

Nightmare Mangle immediately looked down at him and she smiled knowingly.

She almost looked pretty with that smile.

"In terms of serious news, only that Fredbear was responsible for Tommy's death back in May 1983, which was quite a shock for Springtrap," she replied assertively, confident in her own memory of what she had heard.

"Other than that, nothing much else, thankfully Tommy was in one of his 'states' and for obvious reasons refused to say anymore, other than that we were his jailers," she said nonchalantly, although her voice quickly became irritated.

"I was for a moment worried that he might just confess everything that he knew in the vain hope that doing so would set him free."

Then Nightmarionne spoke in a rather knowing tone.

"Regardless, Tommy knows more than anyone else on how to handle himself."

Nightmare Mangle smiled a little, knowing exactly what Nightmarionne meant by her words, before replying with.

"Still he gave us away, the dam fool, but I had the good sense to drop right in and prevent him from revealing any more information."

She gritted her fangs together and narrowed her yellow eyes like a hawk.

"I wonder why you didn't attempt to jump Springtrap earlier on when he entered your room, by the sounds of it according to you Nightmarionne; he nearly discovered the animatronics from Fazbear Entertainment that Vincent had given us," Nightmare Mangle remarked observantly, although with an undertone of frustration that the Nightmare hadn't acted sooner.

Nightmarionne sighed and pushed her raven/jet black hair back behind her ears, replying with.

"I was merely waiting, watching from the corners of that room as Springtrap wandered around for a bit, although my webs kept him and the children well at bay from any of our secrets."

She smiled mischievously, as she turned to look up at Nightmare Mangle.

"Trust me, had he actually discovered the suits, I would have dealt with him via my 'womanly charm'," she said in a dark tone, although her voice held a mad edge to it.

She gave Nightmare Fredbear a psychotic grin that radiated an unhinged nature lurking beneath her eyes.

"I can be very 'enchanting, when I want to be with my songs and tunes."

Nightmarionne's white dots for eyes glowed an unnatural vibe.

"Granted I have never been given a proper opportunity to prey upon the innocent, but my fight against that demonic clown was a worthy test of my skills."

"Have you ever been seduced by song N-Fredbear and made helpless like a puppet on strings before someone whom you suddenly hold so much desire for?"

Nightmare Fredbear resisted the instructive urge to shudder at the thought of finding Nightmarionne to be 'desirable' and the mad glint in her eyes made him feel warry.

Nightmarionne giggled, sounding rather assumed by Nightmare Fredbear's cautious expression.

"Don't worry, I'll never try to use my talents on the likes of you, you're far too below my standards to be worth seducing," she said humorously.

Nightmare Fredbear frowned at her words, he even growled slightly at the insult, but Nightmarionne spoke again before he could respond.

"Yet going back to it, thankfully for Springtrap's sake, he didn't attempt to explore any further, nor did the children; and they certainly didn't notice me as I had my eyes closed the whole time, listening to their footsteps, wondering how far they dared to go."

"Although listening in on their emotional conversation about how dark the children's' souls had become and how Springtrap could somehow save them was very interesting, thankfully Plushtrap and Nightmare Balloon Boy were listening in as well, so it saved me the time of having to tell you two."

"Just as well, that neither Springtrap or the children sensed you earlier," Nightmare Fredbear began plainly, allowing her previous insult to slide, he didn't feel too bothered to bring it up again given their current circumstances.

He looked around, with the glow of his scarlet red eyes illuminating the surrounding walls.

"This house has a way of cloaking us, distorting the spiritual senses of outsiders, so we are lucky that they didn't get the overwealhming sense to leave earlier."

"Even though the children got a bad vibe from this place and heavily advised caution, their desire for answers and naïve curiosity has driven them into our hands; regardless that their instincts were screaming at them to turn and run."

"Though you are quite right N-Mangle, Tommy needs to be returned to us soon, to avoid him giving them any further information."

His scarlet red eyes then narrowed, as his voice became deadly serious.

"We'll need to remind him that secrets are meant to be kept."

"My thoughts exactly N-Fredbear," Nightmare Mangle remarked confidently.

"Even though it was fun to mess with Springtrap on his desire to know more about the past, still. . ."

"It's a good thing that Tommy doesn't know 'everything'."

Nightmare Fredbear was more than aware of what she meant, expressing a knowing look in his eyes as he spoke.

"Tommy wouldn't like the truth, it would certainly devastate him to say the least, although that would depend on what aspect of the truth he is being informed of."

He glanced back at the faded outline of the picture; his eyes now displayed a sense of concern before speaking rather reflectively.

"Still, his heart would be broken if he were to realise this particular truth. . ."

"And yet, I don't think that it matters too much in the grand scheme of things," Nightmare Mangle said nonchalantly, still looking down at Nightmare Fredbear.

"Even if Tommy were to find out the truth, there is far more that neither he, Springtrap, or any of the children will ever know of."

She smiled and it was a genuine smile, one of comfort, a rarity among the Nightmares given that such emotion was only expressed among themselves.

"In truth, we have little to fear for ourselves in terms of safety."

Nightmarionne smiled and nodded in agreement, before reaching across and placing one of her skeletal claws on Nightmare Fredbear's shoulder. He couldn't deny that he monetarily flinched at the sensation, but he did eventually welcome the move, he even leaned into it.

"We are still safe and if we act right now, then everything else can be kept hidden from prying eyes," Nightmarionne said reassuringly.

"Remember. . ."

"We hold the upper hand here and we should never forget it, if their desperation for answers forces them to stay here, then they shall learn the conquences of 'overstaying' their welcome."

"Actions have conquences," Nightmare Mangle remarked assertively, smiling even more than before.

Nightmare Fredbear could feel himself being uplifted by Nightmarionne's words. What she said was true, there was far more information that was hidden then there was known and only he and his Nightmare brethren knew the full truth.

Vincent Afton knew most of it, but there were even a few things that remained beyond his knowledge.

A few things that they had deliberately kept from him.

Some things are best left buried. . .

Nightmare Fredbear smiled, feeling his concern being washed away like a sand castle before the tide. Things could be a lot worse and hopefully the significance of the picture would be the last thing that Springtrap learned before they found him. Regardless, Nightmare Fredbear knew that the significance of the picture wouldn't be damaging to him and his brethren in the slightest. . .although the same couldn't be said of Vincent Afton.

Yet it would in many ways be a price worth paying, his secrecy for their own survival.

"They will learn the hard way, lost in a labyrinth, searching for answers that seem to be so close and yet somehow always out of reach," Nightmare Fredbear said confidently.

He smiled sinisterly, as he turned to face Nightmarionne and Nightmare Mangle, now speaking with a determined tone.

"This where their story ends, they are already dead, but death will not save them from the horror and terror that can exists in Limbo."

He then looked beyond them down the gloomy hallway that stretched forth into the darkness that seemed to have no end.

"We should remind them of that fact," he muttered seriously.

"Considering what we ourselves have experienced over the years we are well versed in delivering such an experience."

"Although," Nightmare Mangle began in a reflective tone.

"Given what we've suffered through it is nice to once more be the one inflicting the pain instead of receiving it."

Instantly, both Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmarionne knew exactly what she was referring to.

There had been two occasions in the past where they were to force to fight for their very existence and the agony that they been forced to endurance was almost indescribable.

The first occasion was when they were able to drag five kids into Limbo back in the mid-1980s, intending to use them as physical vessels in order to escape this mausoleum labyrinth of a house. It was their first attempt to break free and for the most part things went reasonably well, with their intended victims being lured right into a waiting trap.

The four boys were easy to take out, but the lone girl among them proved to be a lot tougher. Although it wasn't a contest, when given how they had been watching her and the others for a considerable amount of time. The girl possessed an incredible gift and it was her power that had gained their attention as she seemed to wield and control physical objects with the power of her mind, telekinesis it could be called, as well as possessing a few other interesting capabilities.

Yet it caused her to bleed from the nose each time she used it, an interesting side effect to observe.

Yet in the end the girl was forced to succumb to their combined strength and unwillingly become a vessel, as her very being was invaded by a Nightmare and her soul was slowly crushed into oblivion. Nightmare Fredbear could remember her piercing screams for mercy and help, as her body was viciously wrapped and altered to comply with its new host.

In the end, all they needed was time to properly consolidate their newfound hold over their recently gained bodies and be one more step closer to bringing about their actual freedom.

Only, things didn't quite turn out that way. . .

Something 'else' also wanted the children, something extra-terrestrial and it was willing to do anything to get them. . .absolutely anything.

The moment the entity breached the house's walls, everything went straight to hell. Hordes of strange humanoid monsters threatened to engulf them all in a tide of chaos as they swarmed the house from top to bottom.

Things might have been a little bit easier for Nightmare Fredbear and Plushtrap to defend their brethren in their new host bodies had Nightmares Mangle, Balloon Boy and Nightmarionne been present.

Yet unfortunately for them, this event happened before their creation.

However, it was the second occasion that had almost destroyed them all back in late 1980s, when something from the outside found its way into their home in the pursuit for souls to sustain itself. It had a particular thing for the souls of children, using their fears as a demoralising weapon against them; having sensed great potential to feast upon the terror that existed within Tommy's soul and to consume him utterly to satisfy its ravenous hunger.

Yet by removing Tommy from existence, it would have resulted in the Nightmares themselves ceasing to exist and thus it became a life or death struggle to defend the boy from the monster that ruthlessly sought him out.

And they almost lost, barely hanging on by a thread. . .

Now Nightmare Fredbear knew that for the most part you couldn't actually die in Limbo due to you being already dead. In fact, such a realisation had given them all an ego in believing that they were all technically immortal for long as Thomas remained.

It was the main reason as to why the Nightmares found the real possibility of death on Earth so terrifying, because it was a remote outcome for them in Limbo.

Yet, there were at least two ways in which one could cease to exist in Limbo, or in other words. . .die.

The first explanation was simple in that when a spirit moved onto either heaven or hell, anything which their mind had created faded away into nothing, a fate that the Nightmares were desperate to avoid before they could successfully break free.

The second explanation however wasn't actually known about until it almost happened to the Nightmares themselves.

Soul absorption. . .

Yet the ravenous creature that sought their souls, especially Tommy's, despite it being in a fractured state seemed to be aware of how to inflict such a fate.

"That wasn't a monster, it was a demon and she would have consumed all of us, had we not all pulled together to stop her," Nightmarionnie remarked with evident displeasure, physically shuddering at the memory.

"In fact, it was probably her discovery of how eating Tommy would result in her eating us as well that further drove her on."

"She was a desperate creature at best and a powerful one, she nearly pushed us all onto the grave," Nightmare Fredbear muttered, sounding reflective as he recalled the dire straits that they all found themselves in.

"I have never been so scarred as I was back in that moment."

He could remember feeling his body disintegrating, sensing all of his strength leaving him, struggling to breathe as his mind began to collapse. It was like he was going backwards in his mental development, ceasing to be sentient and turning back into the feral beast from which he originated, but it wouldn't stop there.

After that point was simply death, permanent death, as his soul was dragged out him, feeding that creature's hunger, as it proceeded to devour everyone's souls like a ravenous child. Tommy's soul was like a whirlpool, dragging everyone else in and due to the Nightmares' spiritual bonds, they couldn't resist the pull as their life force was literally drained out of them.

The hellish screams of the other Nightmares, the traumatic groans and moans of the house as it physical shrunk itself down in size. It was like a spider curling its eight legs up as it slowly died, with its hairy limbs twitching amidst its death throes.

Even Nightmares Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy who at the time had been placed in a sleepless coma in their new human hosts on earth, remembered feeling a dreadful sensation wash over them. They all heard a sinister laugh that vibrated deep within their minds, like invisible fingers reaching forward and ripping their souls out of their bodies. They were more than aware that something terrible was happening to them, but they couldn't fight it as they grew ever weaker in both mind and body, with only the feeling of immense dread and panic left to accompany them through death's door.

Everything was dying and all that Nightmare Fredbear could do was watch and suffer alongside his family, as the creature feasted on their very being and to great delight.

He remembered its voice well, female, animalistic, cruel, and perverse. It openly mocked him as he tried to defend Tommy from its grasp, and it mocked him still as the Nightmare tired his best to withstand the pull he was feeling on his soul as the monster devoured him, immensely revelling in his torment.

Nightmare Fredbear closed his eyes briefly, with his mind recalling scenes that he would rather forget. . .

Limbo Late Summer 1989

Tommy Afton was shivering next to him; the boy was particularly clinging to Nightmare Fredbear so great was his fear of the intruder that had broken into the house.

The room was small, but it was dark enough to hide them and Nightmare Fredbear had his eyes closed to prevent giving away their location to the monster that now stalked them.

"Please. . .don't let her get me," Tommy whispered, barely able to contain the fear in his voice as he clung to the Nightmare's side.

"Shhh, 'it', or rather she won't harm you or any of us anymore," Nightmare Fredbear whispered back in a somewhat reassuring tone that was intermixed with a determination to avenge his fellow Nightmares.

Just what the hell happened?

There had been some indication that there was something wrong, but nothing on this sort of scale.

They had been investigating something supernatural, but when things started to go wrong, their attempts to reverse it had been met with stony silence. Then a short while later, everything had gone to hell and they found themselves fighting off a monster that had suddenly broken through into the house, seeking out Tommy's soul.

Despite being on edge, there was no doubt that they had been caught off guard and their efforts to defeat the monster failed; with Nightmare Fredbear being forced to flee with Tommy, while the other Nightmares covered their retreat until they could resist no more. Now having disposed of them, the monster was free to hunt down Tommy, although it was probably aware that the other Nightmares would eventually recover their strength and seek a rematch.

"Just what is she, a demon, posing as a clown?" Nightmare Fredbear asked himself mentally, as Tommy hugged him, burying his head into the Nightmare's tattered golden suit, as though he was trying to escape his fears.

"Keep quiet Tommy, she's won't find us if you are really quiet," he whispered again, keeping his voice low.

If the situation wasn't so tense or terrifying then he would actually find Tommy clinging to him humorously, let alone deeply ironic.

He was literally running to the Nightmare interpretation of the man who had taken his life for protection against an even bigger threat.

However, Nightmare Fredbear's realisation of the irony of the situation quickly vanished in the face of reality.

This monster was ruthless and strangely enough it had somehow perceived the Nightmares as additional souls on which to feed alongside Tommy's, who acted as the key that bound everyone together.

They were all prey and this monster clown was the predator, and it was a ruthless one at best.

Suddenly, his ears stood up, he had heard something. . .a footstep.

His body stiffed and Tommy's whimpering lessen momentarily, noticing the change in the Nightmare's posture.

There were more footsteps from somewhere outside, moving in a steady pattern, even they sounded light.

"Tommy, are you there?"

"Your Nightmare friends are worried about you, they're with me now, please come out," a soft and reassuring female voice called out.

"Tommy, I am sorry that I scarred you earlier, but I was confused on where I was and your Nightmare friends didn't exactly react well to my presence, it was all just a big misunderstanding."

The footsteps appeared to be getting closer, as with each step the sound became louder.

"Please, I didn't mean to frighten you, everything happened so fast," the voice said, retaining its gentle tone.

Then there came the sound of doors along the corridor outside being opened and then closed a short while later, the creature was searching for them.

"It's been such a difficult day for all of us, we've both witnessed things that we would like to regret."

"No, no, no," Tommy whispered, sobbing as he spoke in absolute fear. He knew what the creature was saying was a lie. It didn't regret anything in the slightest, seeming to relish the opportunity to wreak havoc and generate fear.

"Please come out, I won't act out again, it was just a mistake, an overreaction on my part," the voice said in an almost remorseful tone, but both Tommy and Nightmare Fredbear knew that it was merely a fabrication, a trick to lure Tommy out.

The sound of doors being closed shut grew ever closer, as did the footsteps of the creature and each time either one sounded, Tommy's breathing became more tense and frantic.

"Keep quiet or she'll find us," Nightmare Fredbear whispered in a stern tone, trying to maintain his aura of authority, even though he was feeling just as terrified as Tommy was.

This creature had been able to take out Nightmarionne, Nightmare Mangle, as well as Nightmare Balloon Boy and Plushtrap, despite the tremendous amount of damage that they were able to inflict on it.

And less said about how Nightmare Fredbear's black clothed counterpart had fared, the better. . .

Tommy proceeded to cover his mouth, trying to muffle his terror induced sobs.

"Why do you come out and we can play a game together, it'll be fun, and I promise that I won't scare you like last time," the voice called out once more, and it was now so close that Nightmare Fredbear could easily pinpoint its location in the corridor outside.

He could also hear its claws dragging themselves against the corridor's aged wallpaper, creating a scratching sound as it moved towards the door of the room that they were hiding in.

He felt his guts twist in fearful anticipation of what was soon to come.

"Your Nightmare friend can join us, we can always make room for one more," the voice remarked, now in a playful manner, yet there was something in its tone that felt. . .off.

Nightmare Fredbear half opened his eyes and through the pitch blackness that surrounded them he could see the faint outline of the door at the room's end.

Suddenly, there was a growing eerie yellowish light, coming from underneath the doorframe, the creature was right outside.

Instantly, Tommy's breathing quickened, and his grip on Nightmare Fredbear immediately tighten, he had also noticed the yellow light emitting from under the door.

"It was just a misunderstanding, I'll make it up to you Tommy, I promise," the voice called out, but as with before there was something unnerving about it's reassuring tone and Nightmare Fredbear could easily deduce that the creature was speaking vaguely, appearing to mean nice things, but really intending to do the complete opposite.

Its idea of a 'game' would certainly be different to what Tommy or any other kid would envision.

Normally Tommy would have buried his head into Nightmare Fredbear's suit for safety, but he was too terror struck to look away.

"Save me Fredbear," he whispered, barely to say the words as though something had clamped his voice box shut.

The door started to creak, with the scratching sound of the creature's claws pushing against the wood.

Nightmare Fredbear gripped Tommy's shoulder tightly.

"Tommy be still," he muttered softly, preparing for what was now inevitable.

The door was slowly pushed open and the hellish yellow light of the creature's eyes flooded into the room.

"I think she's found us. . ."

Throughout his life Nightmare Fredbear could say with conviction that there were moments where he had been terrified.

Yet those moments when he was hiding like a terrified child with Tommy, followed by the sensation of disintegrating into nothing as the monster feasted upon his soul; and cruelly mocked him for his helplessness were by far the scariest.

And he would never forget it, feeling the mocking laughter of that 'clown' echo about in his head.

However, that was then, and this is now. Although somethings would perhaps never be the same and a terrifying encounter such as that one had only reinforced their desire for secrecy. They liked to play it safe when they could do and limit what was known about them to either enemy or ally. Even though one might argue that their current line-up of enemies was not as threatening as what they had previously encountered.

But appearances can be deceiving. . .

Turning his mind back to more pressing matters, Nightmare Fredbear concluded on what concerned him the most regarding Springtrap's seizure of the Afton Family picture.

"It is how they, the Fazbears might use such information that worries me," he muttered to himself in a low tone.

"Even though there is no doubt that Vincent would suffer the most from its' reveal then compared to us, but still. . ."

He thought things over, trying to shape his inner thoughts into something coherent.

"It's a dangerous precedent that I would like to avoid."

Suddenly with renewed vigour, he turned upwards to face Nightmare Mangle.

"Go quickly, keep a watch on Springtrap and the children, and if the opportunity arises, hound them all into oblivion." he ordered.

A delighted smile crept over Nightmare Mangle's face.

"Challenge accepted Nightmare Fredbear," she remarked playfully, with there being a mad glint in her eyes as she spoke.

"It's hunting time at last."

She turned about in the direction of the hallway, primed to race across the ceiling in leaps and bounds.

"Happy hunting Nightmare Mangle," Nightmarionne replied in a dark tone.

"Don't give them any room to breathe."

"Oh, don't worry, others will want to join in, the more the merrier I say," Nightmare Mangle remarked excitedly.

She then paused, seeming to have realised something.

"Are you two going to join me?" she asked, looking back at Nightmarionne and then at Nightmare Fredbear.

"We need to find them quickly, granted that Plushtrap and Nightmare Balloon Boy are probably already on their tail."

Yet Nightmare Fredbear shook his head.

"No, Nightmarionne and l will join you later," he replied casually.

"Besides. . ."

Nightmare Fredbear smiled humorously.

"We wouldn't want to ruin your 'fun'."

Nightmare Mangle smiled back in response.

"I can't argue with that," she replied, clearly amused.

Then she proceeded to move forward across the ceiling at a rapid pace, using her endoskeleton claws, as well as her own to leap forward at certain moments. Slowly she disappeared into the darkness, with it appearing to swallow her whole like a black inky tide.

"You'll both know where to find me," she called out eagerly, her voice carried great anticipation.

"Just follow the screams. . ."

And with that Nightmare Mangle completely vanished into the darkness, with the sound of her endoskeleton claws slowly fading away.

Thus, Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmarionne were left alone.

Nightmarionne turned to face Nightmare Fredbear no sooner had Nightmare Mangle fully departed.

"They cannot get out this place, the last group of children we had in here only escaped by pure luck," she muttered nonchalantly, although there was a clear undertone of frustration in her tone.

"Had that wretched monster not decided to intervene, then we would have been in an advantageous situation, hell we might not even have needed Vincent's help at all."

"Might I add Nightmarionne, that you didn't even exist at that point, so I cannot see how it is a concern of yours," Nightmare Fredbear added plainly and Nightmarionne looked irritated with how he dismissed her words.

Then his tone took on a warm tone, preventing Nightmarionne from mounting any immediate response.

"Yet, seeing it through your eyes, I understand your frustration, who knows how far things would have gone had we been able to access the world beforehand, without the need for any outside help."

Nightmare Fredbear's eyes slowly narrowed as he spoke.

"However, it is greatly received, and Vincent has proved himself to be very resourceful and more cooperative than I first imagined."

Nightmarionne sighed, turning about on the spot to face the open doorway that led into Tommy's bedroom.

"How could he object to the offer that you lot presented to him, both he and us needed help and it was fortunate that our end goals align," she remarked reflectively, staring into the darkness that had since claimed Tommy's bedroom when her banshee scream took out all the lights.

Nightmare Fredbear chuckled slightly, although he didn't un-narrow his eyes, maintaining a serious expression.

"Well. . .they're close enough for us to share a common goal," he muttered knowingly.

"Still, there are somethings that even Vincent doesn't need to know. . .for good reason."

His scarlet red eyes flickered over to Nightmarionne, even though she had her back to him, but he knew that she was listening attentively.

"Our experiences with the unknown have taught us to be careful and to cover our tracks."

"No loose ends, Nightmares Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy know what they need to do if Vincent is seriously endangered and has absolutely no chance of getting himself out of any hole that he's got himself into."

His words resulted in a cold response from Nightmaronnie.

"He has to die before the Fazbears can gain any insight from him, not that he would tell them anything 'willingly'," she remarked, saying the last part in a stern tone, she was determined to maintain her family's secrecy at any cost.

"He knows far too much be allowed to live in the event of his capture."

Nightmare Fredbear nodded in firm agreement, before looking away towards the faint outline of where the Afton Family picture had once hung.

"It may not surprise you, but Vincent has already dug his own grave given what he intends to do, but still, we can't afford to take any major risks."

"Thanks to that demented vindictive clown monster, we have learnt to be keenly aware of our weaknesses."

Yet Nightmarionnie didn't respond, although someone else did.

"I'm glad to see that lessons from our past experiences are sinking into you Nightmare Fredbear."

Nightmare Fredbear's eyes widen, and he instantly spun round on the spot.

He knew that voice, that smooth, soft demonic voice that was close enough that he could decipher it to be male and in truth he had been wondering when this certain individual would finally make their appearance. It wasn't like them to miss an occasion like this, especially not with how it had practically fallen into their laps.

Nightmare Fredbear smiled in delight as he gazed at the doorway that lay on the far side of Tommy's bedroom. Yet he felt that the stale surrounding air had noticeably gotten colder, and he could feel an icy presence brush lightly against his skin.

"Finally," he said in naked relief and excitement.

There in the darkness, surrounded entirely by shadow and gloom was a bright pair of scarlet red eyes, glaring out of the dark back at him.

"It took you awhile to show up," Nightmare Fredbear remarked humorously, gesturing towards the figure in question.

"Although you like to wait in the shadows while we do the heavy lifting. . .as always, you've become a creature of habit. . .Nightmare."

The figure whom Nightmare Fredbear had addressed as Nightmare didn't respond initially, but Nightmare Fredbear could easily sense that he wasn't amused by his choice of words, even though there was a ring of truth to it.

After a brief tense silence, Nightmare responded in a plain tone, but there was a clear undertone of coldness, if not irritation to his voice.

"I would challenge that presumption of yours Nightmare Fredbear, after all you and the others are in my debt for what I was able to achieve regarding 'many great things'. . ."

He made sure to stress that last point, a reminder of what he had been able to bring to the Nightmare family, particularly regarding the creation or 'birth' of Nightmares Mangle, Balloon Boy and Nightmarionne.

"Granted you and the others have made yourselves known to the intruders, but I can't see why I need to make my entrance right now," he remarked observantly.

"I can wait until a more ideal opportunity occurs, certain 'things' hold my interest currently."

Nightmare didn't need to specific what those 'things' were but Nightmare Fredbear was more than aware on what he meant, and he nodded slowly, his eyes locked with those of his Nightmare counterpart.

"Still, it would be intriguing to see how Thomas reacts, should he uncover the truth about his father and what he has done in his name," Nightmare said smoothly, as though he relished such an outcome.

"It'll break his heart for sure. . ."

His scarlet red eyes then narrowed slightly, giving off a stern look, though it was the only visible part of him that expressed any indications to what his inner thoughts were.

He spoke again, this time sounding rather reflective.

"The boy who suffered so much without justification, completely falls apart at last when he hears what has become of his tragedy stricken father."

"Vincent did promise to put him back together, that he would do his upmost to set his son free," Nightmare Fredbear remarked nonchalantly.

"He is doing so. . .in his own messed up way," Nightmarionne muttered observantly, drifting into the open doorway and curling her black skeletal fingers around the doorway's frame.

"He knows that there is no coming back from what he has done, all that matters to him is making Fredbear and the others suffer, before everything ends. . .as every heart wrenching tragedy should."

She looked a little bit sorrowful as her eyes glanced over to the scattered Fazbear plushies that lay about across the bedroom floor, having been thrown from the bed when Nightmare Fredbear landed on top of it by bursting through the ceiling.

It had been a dramatic entrance on Nightmare Fredbear's part, but it certainly sent several tremors of fear racing up the children's spines. For a monster of such size being able to break through the ceiling must be a terrifying sight to behold.

Nightmarionne continued after a momentary pause.

"Looking at it from the outside, it is a pity that Tommy has had to suffer so much, given that he is the most innocent of the Aftons, excluding his mother Evelyn of course," she said softly, reaching out with one of her claws and picking up the plushie of Foxy, examining it briefly, before Nightmare caught her attention.

"And therein lies the tragedy of his fate Nightmarionne, knowing the truth about his father will just be adding another layer to it," he said in a determined tone, as though he were trying to prove a point.

He then looked away, now appearing to be in contemplation before speaking again in a soft tone.

"Still. . .he'll be in shock for weeks or months on end if he actually does find out; but Thomas doesn't need to know about Elizabeth or Micheal and I know for a fact that Vincent wouldn't want to tell him for obvious reasons."

"He didn't when he and Tommy briefly met in Limbo back 1987, but we could all see that he desired to keep his son in the dark about his misdeeds by telling him lies about how Michael and Elizabeth were still alive and what he had been doing since Tommy's unfortunate demise."

The Nightmare chuckled to himself, enjoying a private joke of sorts.

"Lies intermixed with truth, he did tell Tommy that he was seeking a way to free him, but he deceived him on how he would make Tommy's freedom from Limbo a reality."

Nightmare Fredbear smirked and his scarlet red eyes shone with a strong sense of humour as he too understood the game that they were all playing.

"It was ironic and still is that Vincent was keeping Tommy in the dark, when he is also in the dark about many other things," he remarked coldly, almost seeming to be taking some enjoyment from the fact.

"It would appear that only we know what is really happening and why."

"I am not surprised that Vincent doesn't want to let Thomas know of his dark deeds, daring not to shatter the heroic image of a father desperately trying to save his son," Nightmare Fredbear said stoically.

"Still. . ." he turned to gaze at the destruction which his arrival has brought to Tommy's bedroom. Not that it mattered as it would soon be restored to its original state by the supernatural powers of the house within an hour at most.

When he spoke again, his tone had changed to become immediately, if immensely curious.

"Do you think that Springtrap and the children, particularly given that these are the children that Vincent murdered will want to reveal to his son what he has done?"

Nightmarionne wasted no time in responding, for her, the answer was obvious.

"Yes, the children will undoubtedly want to tell him, as they will want to expose Vincent's crimes and if that turns Thomas against him then they will do it simply out of spite," she answered vehemently, slowly stroking the soft fur of the Foxy plushie.

Yet Nightmare thought differently.

"Springtrap might not want to tell him though, he truly seems to care about the boy's welfare and may not want to harm him," he remarked curiously, with his eyes shining brightly in the dark and yet his face was barely luminated.

"He seems to be domineering enough to dictate where any conversation might go if he truly wants to avoid exposing Tommy to any uncomfortable truths."

"I am intrigued as to what he might want to gain out of it though, it is beyond doubt that he wants answers to our connection to Vincent and to Fredbear and Friend's. He correctly senses that there is something big afoot here and we cannot let him discover any more than what he knows already."

Then he turned his gaze towards Nightmarionne, looking rather intrigued.

"I am sure that discovering the bear, bunny, chicken and fox animatronics in your room Nightmarionne would only have given him more reason to keep exploring."

"For them to be housed in a decrepit and seemingly desolate place as this would be baffling to most people."

Nightmare's eyes then seemed to gleam with realisation.

"Regardless, he won't understand their significance, and nor shall we ever tell him, even though it would be tempting to lead him on a wild goose chase."

"Still, keeping those suits on hand is a valuable form of insurance should our plan with Vincent fall through somehow."

Then Nightmare's eyes immediately looked over at Nightmare Fredbear, as though he could sense that the Nightmare was about argue and he sought to pre-empt him.

"If anything, it'll be his immediate capture that'll force our hand in removing him, I cannot see him betraying us, or that we will deliberately seek to end his life," Nightmare said sternly, making sure that his voice dominated the conversation.

"Only once he becomes a serious lability, do we take him out."

Nightmare Fredbear looked curious, if not a little unsure.

"Do you really think that Vincent may not end up making himself a lability?" he asked, sounding rather mystified.

"Given how much of his life, what little remains of it he has devoted to his long pursued quest for vengeance, his mental state could begin to deteriorate as his life long goal now nears its end."

"The realisation that death is staring him in the face and that everything else is finally coming to an end could cause him to either lose focus or to doubt his determination to go through with his death spiral."

Nightmarionne nodded, still clutching the Foxy plushie in her long bony fingers and she spoke in a confident tone.

"I agree, Vincent has stated before that he knows where he is going when the smoke clears, but when he spoke of such things, the end was far off and the implications of his actions were remote."

"He could afford to be brave in the face of his own annihilation back then, but now. . ."

She then smiled sinisterly as she started to squeeze the Foxy plushie, so hard that it was as though she was strangling it.

"Vincent might want to back out and delay things to extend his own life, out of fear of the devil; he has a strong survival instinct and I would be very surprised if he is willing to actually dive into hell if it means utterly destroying the Fazbears."

Her white dots for eyes narrowed, giving her a rather cold and intimating expression that combined with her cruel smile to make her look truly terrifying.

Nightmare Fredbear felt a faint chill run up his spine, but he suppressed it.

"If he starts to back out, then that'll cause problems for all of us and we cannot allow that to happen," Nightmarionne uttered softly, but her voice held a lot of venom to it, making it clear to both Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare what her position was.

Nightmare was about to respond when Nightmarionne held up her hand to stop him and she kept on talking.

"Yet if I may add, we actually don't need Vincent as much as we think we do," she said confidently.

"We know how to re-build Soul Stealer each time we need to use it, granted it uses some parts which are quite hard to come by, but we don't need Vincent for that part."

She then gestured over to Nightmare, who remained hidden in the darkness, only revealed by the reddish glow of his scarlet red eyes.

"In fact, you got those parts yourself, the ink from Bendy and Alice Angel and those demogorgon dog creatures from the Mind Flayer, although the latter event involved everyone excluding myself and Nightmares Mangle and Balloon Boy for obvious reasons."

She then frowned, looking visibly disappointed, resulting in Nightmare's narrowing his eyes in anticipation of an accusation coming his way.

"It's unfortunate that luring those kids in here ended up attracting the Mind Flayer and its demogorons minions," Nightmarione remarked in a disappointed manner.

"I admit that I didn't fully cover my tracks that time, even though you weren't alive at the time to even complain Nightmarionne," Nightmare replied in defensive tone, but there an undertone of coldness to his voice.

"None of us fully understood the risks that came with trying possess actual bodies, considering that it was our first time."

Nightmarionne's frown reduced slightly, arguing back with.

"We can get new human vessels, unwilling or otherwise and we just need a human helper, a follower if you will for a brief period of time to help set things up and then we can just discard them."

"Thanks to Vincent, we have worked out the clinks and know how to break through the barrier, we don't need him anymore, even though we are both seeking the same outcome."

"Ask yourselves this, do we still need Vincent Afton?"

Nightmare Fredbear looked thoughtfully for a moment, comparing the costs and benefits of such an action, tossing the thoughts around his head like a ship caught in a storm.

Nightmare likewise also settled into a quiet demeanour, pondering on the implications of Nightmarionne's suggestion, as his eyes looked downward at the floor, lost in deep thought.

For a moment there was a period of utter silence before any of the Nightmares responded to her question.

Nightmare Fredbear went first, speaking calmly.

"In one sense, no, we don't need him, not to get through the barrier, and we are capable of reaching the same outcome as Vincent is, so I can definitely see where you are coming from."

He could see a lot of validity to Nightmarionne's argument.

However, Nightmare saw things differently.

"Yet would it be worth the effort to remove him, we are close to the end now," he muttered stoically, sounding rather convinced of their arguments.

"Granted we didn't need Vincent to collect the key components of Soul Stealer, even though he was useful in putting them together, but that is another problem within of itself."

Nightmare then sighed, before he resumed speaking in a low tone.

"I do not know the fate of either Bendy or Alice Angel; not that I care much for either of them, given how they were posed to tear eachother and that decaying cartoon studio apart."

"Getting any new ink of that 'special' variety will be extremely difficult if every one of those ink emotion-infused entities are gone, despite us having a few spare containers of ink lying around."

"It was hard enough trying to convince them to settle for a trade," Nightmare Fredbear remarked stoically, thinking back to that chaotic time.

"Even the Mindflayer was easier to bargain with, it could at least sense the worth in making a deal with us."

He then turned to face Nightmare, speaking sincerely.

"Yet I would rather hope that either Bendy or Alice are still alive after all this time, they could continue to be useful to us, regardless of how irritable they were."

"That is an understatement," Nightmare muttered coldly.

"Particularly where Alice Angel was concerned, even though Bendy literally threatened my life on several occasions."

"And the less said about Bendy's 'followers'. . .the better."

His voice trailed off, evidently wanting to forget his experience of having to deal with those 'Ink demons'.

Yet Nightmarionne laughed heartily at Nightmare's expense, covering her mouth with her hand, but it didn't stop her girlish laughter.

"I remember being told how difficult Alice was to work with, given how she kept switching personalities while you were talking to her," she said humorously, laughing as she spoke.

Nightmare growled in a low tone, expressing his displeasure at being reminded of having to deal with the fallen psychotic angel, as his scarlet red eyes glowed in annoyance.

"Regardless," he muttered, steadily regaining his calm composure and the fierce glare from his eyes slowly died down.

He could let her enjoyment of his past embarrassment slide, given the importance of their current situation.

"We'll find a way to acquire more ink, as well as anything that we need from the Mind flayer, if it is required, although we don't know of its whereabouts, let alone that it is still alive."

Nightmare then looked at both Nightmarionne and Nightmare Fredbear, his scarlet eyes flickering from one to the next, to see if they were fully listening.

"We clearly don't need Vincent for any of this and thus I argue that we only remove Vincent if he is about to be captured and there is no way of saving him, or if he appears to be backing out of his plans to destroy the Fazbears. . .in other words a liability."

His scarlet red eyes narrowed, as his voice became stern.

"If we were going to remove him, then I might well have done it no sooner had he brought Nightmares Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy into the world, that was the ideal time."

"To me, there is no point, considering that his life is going to end, he might as well enjoy his life's work up to its final moments and in the end we'll be free; Tommy is forced to move on and Vincent gets to die happy."

Nigthmarionne slowly nodded, before speaking in a quiet tone.

"Fair enough, this game is almost at its end and it's not like we can't take Vincent on if he ever tried to back out."

"He can live. . .we might as well help him see things through to the bitter end."

"And if he wavers or is captured," Nightmare Fredbear began coldly, slowly tightening his fists.

"Then we shall quickly end his life within a heartbeat."

"In the end, we both want the same result, perhaps in hell Vincent might thank us for carrying out his wishes."

His words made Nightmarionne smiled in sadistic satisfaction, as she equally gripped the Foxy plushie as she still held.

"Well. . ." Nightmarionne said, now in a sly and knowing tone.

"Not quite the same outcome, when you really think about it."

Nightmare chuckled darkly, knowing fully what she was implying.

"If Vincent knew, I am sure that he would appreciate the end result all the same, regardless of not being able to see it take place," he replied humorously.

"And above all Tommy himself doesn't need to know if Vincent ends up dead anyway."

"Even though he has revealed a few truths to Springtrap, he won't reveal anything else because of his fear of us and that any hope of escape is merely an illusion."

Yet Nightmarionne now looked unconvinced and her grip on the Foxy plushie weaken, relaxing her black skeletal hand, even though she narrowed her eyes at Nightmare.

"I wouldn't' be so sure, Springtrap might be able to convince him to reveal more of what he knows," she remarked in a stern voice, with an undertone of worry.

"Regardless of. . ."

She sighed, before continuing with.

"You know what I am on about, don't you?"

Nightmare's eyes shone vibrantly as he stared back at Nightmarionne, expressing a blank expression, but there was no doubt that he carefully crafting a response to her concerns.

He knew full what she was referring to.

Then Nightmare Fredbear's eyes glowed as he thought things over, seeing a solution to Nightmarionne's concern.

"It is a great risk yes with having him in the company of someone like Springtrap, but as I've told Springtrap already, Tommy cannot be 'saved' the way in which Springtrap believes."

He continued unabated as the eyes of both Nightmares slowly turned in his direction.

"Besides, the presence of Springtrap and the children is to be temporally, and Tommy should surely know this, in the end he'll be left alone with us as always."

"As weak as he is, he is aware that telling Springtrap of our true intentions and secrets won't get him anywhere in the long run, especially not when we hold most of the cards."

Yet Nightmarionne shook her head in disagreement.

"Still, it would be better for us to get him back as soon as possible," she said worryingly, not hiding the urgency she felt.

"Because even if what Tommy knows is useless to him, Springtrap, or worse yet the Fazbears might be able to find a way to use it against us."

She then looked directly at Nightmare, before asking.

"Surely you must know that, if I can clearly see it?"

"It is a glaring weakness that shouldn't be overlooked," Nightmare Fredbear remarked in a concerned tone, appearing to support Nightmarionne's words.

Yet Nightmare only expressed a calm outlook, as though Nightmarionne's argument on the dangers that Tommy present when in the company of outsiders didn't shock him in the slightest.

And when he responded, he appeared to have a good reason to not be worried compared to his Nightmare brethren.

"And yet you both forget that Tommy won't tell them any more than what he has admitted to already because of his divided nature," he said in a quiet tone that reflected his collected expression.

"Tommy is weak, indecisive and above all else he is afraid of us, as well as not wanting to let others get hurt."

"He'll believe that there is no point in revealing in any extra information as it'll make Springtrap and the other children stay for longer and put them in greater danger."

"Tommy has good reason to believe that there is no path to freedom, other than the one that we are seeking for him."

Nightmare's eyes widen, further amplifying the glow from his scarlet red pupils.

"He'll have to accept that his options are extremely limited, well. . .the lighter side of him will have to accept it."

"We are well aware of the other half of him thinks," Nightmare Fredbear remarked, expressing a knowing smile.

"However abrupt and chaotic it makes itself known."

"Tommy should be tearing himself apart, unable to truly decide what he wants and even though one side of him wants to move on in a certain way, the other part of him will do anything to prevent its own desires from being denied."

Nightmare smiled in agreement.

"That is how it is," he remarked amusingly.

Nightmare Fredbear looked rather bemused as he replied, whilst gazing in Nightmarionne's direction.

"Tommy is caught within his own mental tomb, even when he isn't being watched by us, he is never truly free, or have you forgotten so easily Nightmarionne."

Nightmarionne's look of concern did seem to waver slightly as Nightmare Fredbear continued.

"Tommy as he is currently is the walking embodiment of trauma and indecision, and you Nightmarionne should know the mindset of his darker nature. . ."

The Nightmare could have said more, but he instead withheld his tongue, seeing his words shake Nightmarionne loose from her worry, as she visibly relaxed.

"You're both right," she began, looking from one Nightmare to the next and speaking in a relaxed tone.

"Thomas Afton shall never be free as long as he lingers, it is his curse and our blessing that he is inflicted to such an insane degree."

Nightmarionne then looked at Nightmare, who gazed back at her with a vicious smile and she replied in kind, although hers was far more deranged then his.

They both knew the cause for Tommy's terrible affliction, as well as to how and why it kept on reoccurring. In their shared smile they fully understood the sadistic intentions of the other and how Tommy's 'darker side' would be a useful element in the very near future.

Nightmare Fredbear's scarlet red eyes glowed with satisfaction as he smiled with hideous intentions. Like his brethren he perfectly understood the true nature of the game that was being played against Springtrap, the children, as well as against Vincent Afton.

He then briefly turned in the direction of where Nightmare Mangle had gone, knowing that they needed to join her and the other Nightmares. Even though Tommy would keep himself and the others occupied, Nightmare Fredbear had to agree with Nightmarionne on the need to get Tommy back as soon as possible.

"Now that we are fully on the same page, we should leave and re-join Nightmare Mangle, for we have nothing left to discuss," he said in a domineering tone, catching the attention of both Nightmarionne and Nightmare.

"Agreed Nightmare Fredbear," Nightmarionne called out in a joyous tone and her white dots for eyes glowed with sinister intent, no doubt she was looking forward to what would soon follow.

"Yes, our conversation is at an end, we should leave and join the other Nightmares," Nightmare stated firmly, officially concluding the conversation as he focused his attention onto the hunt that lay ahead of them.

"Before we all depart, Nightmarionne," he began, immediately earning the Nightmare's attention.

"The Foxy plushie, give it to me please, I have an idea, one among many."

Nightmarionne eagerly complied, wanting to see what Nightmare had in mind with the plushie as she threw it across the room.

The plushie seemed to vanish into the darkness beyond the doorway, but there was the sound of it being caught by Nightmare's invisible claws.

His scarlet red eyes glowed once more, as they expressed a shrewd if not devious intent.

"Soon, very soon. . ." he began, sounding rather malicious.

"We'll make Springtrap, the children and Tommy regret that they ever met eachother in this accursed hell. . ."

Finally, Nightmare has been introduced, even if it is in a limited capacity, only two more Nightmares to go before we get the full cast.

Even if two groups are mostly aligned in their goals, there will nearly always be a difference in what they view as the end goal.

Despite Nightmares being incarnate creatures of pure horror and terror, there are other beings that are much greater and better skilled in such arts, more than enough to terrify the Nightmares themselves. . .

As I said earlier hopefully Chapter 54 will come out next month, but if not then just know that it will be finished eventually.

Thank you for reading and do please review, I appreciate your thoughts.
