Guess who? Your favorite (not-too-sus) writer, YNS, that's who! And here's a bit of a continuation with our favorite Mink! Im usually good with nicknames but ngl, kinda struggling with one for her. I might roll with CC but i'll still think about it. Sorta am still finding myself stumped with how to continue things, but good thing we're still a ways off of where we really need to be in the story and still have a mystery or two on our hands! Now it can probably reach 5 chapters lol Oh and let me thank yall for getting this story over 1000 views in such sort time upon release, and NOW that first chapter's over 2000! Before i talk more about it, yall may notice that im in a bit of higher spirits now. "Did you fuck last night?" PFFFFT, I wish! Women usually give coomers like me a hard time, but anyways! Im feeling better mood-wise cuz I got a bit of a countdown til im outta this penthouse shelter, a 10 day countdown! Way better than spending another month here. Anyone that's really been keeping track of me knows that i've been practically homeless for most of the year, so i've been having tons of lows (and yeah, being maidenless for a few months is shitty too. Cooming out...and doing all of THIS always helps me tho), but now there's a light at the end of the tunnel for me nowadays. One of my fams got me a ticket, but i ran into a bit of an issue after seeing that an Uber will cost me over 100$ to get to the airport (FUCK THAT). I was able to see that getting a bus (not a metro. they dont even take me close to there) will take me close to there for about 1/3rd of the price! Steal much? EVEN BETTER i got it set to the night before the flight, and it seems i can just chill at the airport til my flight gets ready. It all should go accordingly. Then when i get a job down once i get back to my hometown, yall can expect chapters more regularly.
I guess I can get to thoughts about the chapter. Sooo i feel like the story is in a good spot now. Still trying to think of how go about the whole Awakening thing with the reader's DF. Im also thinking where i can squeeze Sulong Carrot into all this. Surprisingly all this is still within a day. Pretty full for one, eh? lol As for JP, it should be obvious that i meant for her to be comedic but gave her some weight to the story anyway, which i dont think is a bad thing. She's practically the leader of the Committee, yet she's starting to turn into something else. Let's say her stuff's starting to look rather unflattering. Not as bad as NaitoRenamon, but she's up there. How things're going, it gives me extra time to solidify the other members in my head. I'll have to think of how to progress Carrot over time too, especially power-wise to take on the bigger threats, but I sorta surprised myself with how the reader works well with the other Minks on the team lol. I have a few ideas for Motos (if that's his real name...OOOPS), but expect some bs when it comes to fighting him. His backstory should be in an interesting place now too. I hope everyone's looking forward to seeing Pedro shine, since literally everyone felt it when he died, on some Ace levels. Marines and Warlords may come into play too, depending on how smart I play my cards from here on. My favorite part of this may be the ending. I feel like Im doing a great job ending chapters for this story.
In other news, I'll sorta remind yall that I have preview chapters for some of these stories on my , with one exclusive preview for a new fic I've been wanting to do and Im actually gonna do another one soon. No one's pledged to see them so far, but as of now i gotta replace the ones that got whole chapters real soon, and i'll make one of them a preview of an extra chapter. Anyone that's paid good attention knows which one that'll be...Well you'll have two good guesses there. I also got a new drawing i've been working on and i already made a WIP post about it on my Conversations tab. I wanted to skip out on it to work on a chapter, but i was like "Fuck it. Imma do it for a bit", and it got a little motivating cuz it's about how i'd draw the the reader in my fanfics, which my favorites would be how this guy'll look in Renny's story, then maybe Etna's, Miu's and Shiki's, but they all have potential to have my favorite designs since i like to draw pretty experimentally. Chances are stacked against them if they lean heavily on being a slice-of-life MC...Well everyone except for the exclusive story i mentioned earlier. To wrap up, i also mentioned in a post how my internet's going to give out real soon as of writing this, but i can still continue doing fics (via phone) til the 19th rolls around and i have someone else's internet for a change. Ummm, i kinda check in on those guys that doing readthrus of my Lilac story here and there, but they haven't covered the last chapter for the longest, so they're lame af for that. OH YEAH, last and final thing, I've played and beaten FP2 a week after it came out. Not a fan of how it tells the story, but there're a few things i like about the story in it and i may be able to make those aspects shine when i do a continuation for the Lilac fanfic (that im certain everyone saw coming, but i got something pretty thrilling for it's beginning), which i may get around to after one of my 7 little-leaguer stories finish up. I'll talk about the many types of things that i wanna fuck at some other time, sooooo yeah. That's about it, you go ahead and read more of my massive walls of text down below now if you haven't.
Chapter 2: Jared's Rescue Team! The Mystery Behind Japri.

Japri was dashing her way to where Carrot's place for selfish reasons (possibly steal me away from her), but suddenly finds herself bounced back by Wanda's large pair of tits, knocking her on her back, legs up. "And just where do you think you're going? -x-" Wanda asked, "Uuuuuh uuum...N-nowhere just...ouo; *sees her raise a brow* A-a sale! Yeah, there's a sale Im trying to catch!" Japri lied, "Must be some sale, cuz I would've seen other Minks-teia rushing like you were. Besides, I thought I told you to remind Carrot about what Pedro said...And that was over half an hour ago - _-" she points out, "W-well y'see, I was busy with..(Think JP, think! What else could I have been doing? Oh I know! There's what Nekomamushi and Inuarashi told me!) ^ ^; I was also was spying on Carrot and-! (No! What the hell was that?! TTOTT)" she said accidentally. Wanda then proceeded to pick her up and held her in her armpit with a frustrated expression on her face to take her to a private area, while Japri was mentally kicking herself due to her slip-up.
A few minutes after this lil event, me and Carrot were going out to gather some more food. When a few Minks saw us passing by, they couldn't help but turn to us as she either rubs her forehead against my cheek or kisses my cheek with that big smile of her's..Admittedly she looked even cuter with that backpack she's carrying. We shortly got to a stray river that flows into a duct from Karau City. Huh, look at all those fish in it. "That felt great earlier. We should do it again really soon ouo" Carrot broke the silence with, "! Uh yeah. Never thought my first time would be that good either. It's just that...Well yknow.." I was trying to say, "Hmm? What is it?" she asked, "It's..Still weird for me. I've never been with a Mink before...Let alone any girl, but I'd never think it'd be with someone like you" I told her, keeping my nervousness down as much as possible, "*holds my hands together* It's ok! Carrot really likes you, and you really like Carrot. That's all that matters, right? ^w^ Now let's stop moping. The fish wont catch themselves ouo" she optimistically told me, giving me a bit of a chuckle. I used my Water-Water Fruit powers to raise a group of fish up in a water ball and Carrot used her Electro to shoot them out into the grass on the other side, frying them like this.
"Say...How do you feel about Pirates?"
"[Carrot] They uuuh...I only heard about them being ruthless stealers and that they're all trying to find the One Piece. The only ones I like are Luffy's crew o3o"
"(Why'd I even bother asking? Hmmm...I can try this) What if I told you I was one of the good Pirates a few years back?"
"[Carrot] So you used to be a good Pirate? Why didnt you tell me earlier?"
"(Ok. A bit smarter than expected) Cuz well...I wasnt sure how'd you feel about me. Even if I was a good Pirate."
"[Carrot] What would one do then?"
"They help people on islands, of course...L-like Luffy and his crew! ^ ^;"
"[Carrot] What happened with your crew?"
"Y'see, I wanted to do the most good out of everyone, and they started doing their own things as they broke into some people's houses. The first guy that walked out on us...He stuffed the Water-Water Fruit down my mouth and threw me off the ship."
"[Carrot] What a jerk! I oughtta beat him senseless for that! \m/"
"Well after having this Fruit for years, I've been able to do alot of things with it. Makes me wonder what'd it be like to Awaken it."
"[Carrot] Awaken? Your Devil Fruit-teia? o O"
"I only heard of this one guy, Doflamingo, being able to Awaken his and be able to turn his surroundings into strings."
"[Carrot] Ooooooo so you'll be able to turn things into water? owo"
"Sounds about right. I think Im close but I dunno...I have a feeling I am. Ever since two weeks ago, I can control some water in lakes and rivers. I cant make anything in 'em though."
"[Carrot] Ooo oo I know! Maybe Pedro can help you with that!"
"Does he have a Devil Fruit?"
"[Carrot] Nope! ouo"
"Heheh, you sure have alot of faith in him."
"[Carrot] He's helped me so much with becoming as strong as I am now. If he can help me, he can help anyone! ^w^"
"We'll have to see when we get a hold of him. You can get the fish now."
"[Carrot] Oh right."
"*sees her walking over the river carefully, and bends over when she crossed it* (Cmon man...Dont...Look.. ;)"
"[Carrot] *looks back, seeing that I look nervous* (Uh oooooooh, somebody likes what he sees ಡWಡ) *wags small tail at me and slightly lowers short-shorts with a predatory look*"
"*turns all the way around, covering eyes* (She's actually trying to arouse me! Carrot, pleeease! ;;;) *tramples forward a bit, and gets bounced back by something big, barely catching my footing* Whoooa! Who the- *opens my eyes, firstly seeing Wanda's huge tis* (T-they must be even bigger than Carrot's! )"
"[Wanda] *tosses Japri in front of me, making her land head-first on the ground* You said you have some important information. Go ahead and tell them. uxu"
"[Japrila] *raises head, shakes the dirt out of hair before staring at her in hate* (Drrrg, you damn dog-mink..I'll make sure to come after you first on my hit-list, sister!) *gets up* Ahem...We have to find the rest of the Restoration Committee. We have a traitor among them."
"[Carrot] How do we know it's not you? -.-"
"[Japrila] Wha-! How can you suspect me?! oVo;;"
"[Carrot] You've been acting weird. That's all I have though."
"[Wanda] Before we point fingers, we have to gather the Committee-teia up first."
"[Japrila] Y-yeah, that's right! In fact, that's what Nekomamushi told me to do."
"There was another guy you mentioned with him, Carrot. Who're they? Both sound important."
"[Carrot] Of course they are! They rule all of Zou! They have to know just about everything that happens here."
"Oh I see then. In that case, she must've talked for quite a bit with them."
"[Japrila] It's a long story, but one of the members, Jared, gathered alot of information outside of Zou. He found other civilizations on different giant ancient animals like Zunesha. And that one of them has some sorta Devil Fruit tree."
"[Me & Carrot] D-Devil Fruit TREE?! But HOW! O O"
"[Japrila] As big of a discovery it sounds, we may need to find Jared first. He sounds like he's been really fatigued..He's been flying for several days now, and neither Inuarashi or Nekomamushi knew where he went."
"Wow...He's really dedicated huh..Who knows what else he found too."
"[Carrot] (If I were a lil birdie...Where would I be?)"
"[Wanda] It sounds to me that he's still flying, so we'll have to go from one giant animal to the next to find him, so he can take a break. He could be in danger too."
"Alright then. (Maybe he saw my crew when he was investigating..I have to find out! Where ever y'all go, I'll go)"
"[Carrot] Mission Return The Teammates is underway! Let's go!" she said enthusiastically, with Wanda taking the lead after stepping in front of her. Her and Wanda found it odd that they recently haven't seen the rest of the Committee members for a whole day. They understand Jared's case, but they suspect that there might be more than one traitor in the group. This in mind, they gathered up the materials to ensure they can make it to one of the ancient creatures that were similar to Zunesha, to look for Jared as their first member to retrieve.
Meanwhile, in Jared's area, at the back end of Ban, the aimlessly sailing gigantic ancient turtle (15,000ft), he tries his best to escape but keeps getting taken down by a dark version of himself. "*coughs blood, struggles to crawl, leaving a trail of blood and torn off feathers* I...Have to...make it back...Back to Zou..." Jared said to himself, "*lands in front of him* Hmmhmmhmmm! I hope you dont die after this!" Jared's dark clone said, kicking him a few feet into the air, and drilling his beak into his chest. Upon instinct, Jared stabbed his talon into the opposition's ribs before falling on his back. The Jared clone laughed off the pain before falling as well. "Not bad...For something weaker than me..*stands up, smiling menacingly over him with a glowing red eye* I was going to report to Motos about this..But Im going to kill you anyways! *quickly goes in for a beak attack but sees him shoot an air blast out of his mouth* SQUACK! Since when could he-?!" he reacts before being flung into a tree upon impact, "*flops head to the ground, heavily breathing* (Good thing...I ate one those Fruits 12 hours ago..It might be wearing off by now..It wasnt ripe at all..If...If I can just hide a bit longer..)" Jared thought to himself, crawling into some high grass. Resting there while enduring starvation. In the center of the civilization, Motos sensed that the clone he made had failed before opening his eyes. "Maybe if my Mink Generals were to be put to use, they could get the job done. *makes a very loud, echoing snap of the fingers* Duo, Zappa. *sees them busting through the door before bowing* A pest has been spying on me recently. I have no idea where he is but I know that he came from Zou. See to it that you two destroy that place for me so this doesnt happen again. Die if you have to in order to do this" Motos told them, "We will return alive, Lord Motos!" Duo, the armored Hippo Mink, tried to assure him, "Then go. Now. *sees them run out of the door before leaping into the air* If they return and Zou is still in tact...They will constantly work for 3 days and 3 nights, before I kill them myself" Motos then hatefully said under his breath, before looking at a dozen pictures on a wall behind his throne, reminding himself of the royal family he once had. Most being his children.
The four of us didnt take long to make a boat that was around 2 meters wide, nicely fitted with leaves plastered on the sitting areas. We gave it a sail just in case, but I got it covered as far as movement. I used to be plenty help on my own when I was with Fred's crew. "Oh and we should bring some food too. Fruits should do" I reminded, "You got it! I'll be right back!" Carrot replied, but right when she turned, two big shadows started forming below us. We look up, seeing an armored hippo Mink and a gorilla Mink. "And who might you two be? *sees the hippo Mink strike his heavy metallic arm this way, holds it up with sword* Gggnn! But you two are fellow Minks! Why attack us?!" Wanda points out, "You know nothing about us. *makes the arm explode on her but the smoke clears and she's a dozen feet away, only suffering damage to her right eye* We're Lord Motos' Mink Generals. We swore ourselves to his cause to eliminate all Minks" the hippo Mink said, "But you guys-teia are Minks too! Where does that leave you?!" Carrot asked in concern, "When we swore allegiance, we want to die in battle. To prove the true strength of all Minks, and show how dangerous we really are" the gorilla Mink told us, taking a fighting stance with his 300lb broadsword, "I dont think we'll ever get to them, Carrot..We have to fight" I told her, generating water around my a wrists and making water claws, "But wait! Why does he want that?! Who is this Moto guy?!" Carrot asked before flipping backwards from the gorilla Mink's mighty launching swing, "Talk is over. Let's kill them and the rest of the Minks, Zappa. If this guy wants to fight with them, then he dies too!" the hippo Mink told him, "(The rest of the Minks!? He isn't talking about all of Zou, is he? I wont let that happen! Not when they're good people!)" I said in my head, building up my courage. "*shoots the hippo Mink with a stream of Electro and Wanda follows up with a bigger burst of Electro* Wow! That sure is alot! There's no way he'll- *sees his mechanical arm absorb all the electricity* What?! How'd he just suck it in all in like that?!" Carrot reacts, "(Mink's Electro is really strong compared to normal electricity..Someone must be able to know how much voltage you'd need to absorb to come out unharmed)" Wanda pieced together. "*sees Zappa dash to Carrot, who easily flips over his swings* Hey. I have alot of control over my Water-Water Fruit abilities. Follow my lead" I whispered to Wanda before throwing out water claw extension attacks at Zappa with one hand, then do the same with the other hand for the hippo Mink, both trying their best to bat away my assault, "(Follow his lead...Oh I get it now!) Now if I can get to Carrot.." Wanda said under her breath. "*gets closer to them, and starts exchanging blows with them in water armor* (Im sure they know what the plan is by now. I just need this hippo guy to-)" I was plotting right before Duo gives me a big swing of his bulky metallic arm, making it explode on me upon contact. Zappa was about to land a big chop down on me but found himself captured in a big wad of water mid-swing, simultaneously as his partner was caught in it as they see that half of my body was heavily scared from the explosion. "*catches my breath* There...That should be good enough..*looks over to the hippo Mink as he eats and chops through the water globs then spits out gallons outside the water* ! He can actually get through alot like that?" I somewhat react, "Heheheheh, dont underestimate Duo all cuz you caught him like this. Water's a speciality of his!" Zappa shouts, "*regenerates pieces of watery globs to lock him in place as he keeps spitting them off of him, and locking away the chunks of his metallic arm by my other water spheres on the ground* The regen rate of my capturing waters isn't as fast as how much Im losing..Dammit!" I comment, "*feels the waters around body and arms start to shrink* Just like that, Duo! He's mine now! *resets chopping swing, but feels an immediate halt from it* Huh?!" Zappa reacts, seeing Wanda holding the tip of the blade with one hand while upside-down before landing, heavily straining his grip on it. "Electro!" Carrot, Wanda, and Japri shout out, channeling tons of electricity through the water I still held the two opposing Minks in. Of course right before I rolled away and detached myself from both of 'em. "GIGIGIGIGIGIGIGGIGIGIGIGIGIIGIGIGIIIII! XOX" the two shouted while being intensely tased and fried like this, "Heh! I bet all that water and the metal from that big arm and sword didnt do you two any favors, huh? uo" I taunted, "*struggles to get back up* You'll...! Pay for...! Ggghhhnnn!" Zappa was trying to say, "(Persistent eh?) *zips to him, stabs him in the back with blade* Electro. *electrocutes him from the blade, making his head and arms rattle before he flops back down* There. Now his heart should be stopped" Wanda said with a serious look on her face, "*sees Due crawl away but lifts him up with sweeping grab of bushy tail* Unfortunately for you too. I trained my tail to not only have great control of it..But also generate and multiple the output of Electro through it by up to 20 times" Japri told him, making his heart sink before being electrocuted by her tail, making him shout in agony and start to bleed blood out of his skin. After a minute of this while smiling, Japri tossed him off of Zunesha to the depths below. "Even if he does wake up, he should be out for at least a few days. He'll never catch up" Japrila ensured, "(Whoa..I never figured she'd be this strong. I feel like I got off easy in comparison)" I thought to myself, "*claps* Garchuuu! That was amazing, Japri! I knew you could do it! ^^" Carrot gratifies, "Yeah...*drops to one knee, holding the big scar from under my armpit to my ribs* Guh..I took way more damage than I thought there..Even with my water armor up, his explosion still went through.." I said with some grunting, "Oh no! You're really hurt, huh? I dont wanna leave you here! m" Carrot said in worry, "Dont worry..At most I need 10 minutes" I told them before I held some water on my scared areas, "*sees a few spots look less red and some blood goes back into my body* I see. So his-teia water has healing properties. That's really helpful to have. He's definitely an advanced user of it" Wanda noted, "We can take an extra few minutes so we can heal that eye of your's too. Im sure you dont wanna go out looking like that" I told Wanda, putting a smile on her face as she wagged her tail. Japrila went ahead and kicked Zappa off of Zunesha as well. Carrot sees that his big sword got left behind, and gave her an excited smile when she thinks about what it could do.
We took some time to heal up and prepare the boat for our voyage. I was able to raise up a 300ft pillar of water below us, but it was still not high enough to us all the way down safely. "Oh I know! Let's use Zunesha's trunk to get down!" Carrot suggests, and since everyone was short on ideas at the moment, we went with what her idea. There was some long traveling we had to do, but we were able to get there in a timely manner. Well if you consider getting somewhere within 2 hours timely. The thing sorta seemed as if it knew what we were doing, cuz once we set foot at the top of his head, Zunesha himself held his trunk at a nice slope leading into the water. We held on to our seats to prepare for a big splash below. "*looks up, seeing the fruits fly out* Oh no! Not our food! *sees water tentacles grab each of them, putting them back in the boat; looks over to me controlling them with a hand* Wow thanks! You really are good with your Water-Water Fruit ^w^" Carrot gratified, "It's like I was made for traveling on a ship. *raises the excess water that was flooding into the boat, and releases it out into the sea* Now watch this" I told her, amassing a sum of water behind and around the boat and force it to push us forward. We were going a decent 45mph like this and I kicked my feet up over the back of the boat as it moved seemingly on it's own. We all took the time we were out to eat some of the fruit, eating mostly 3 out of the 7 melons that we brought, with few big apples and a dozen bananas to spare. "*sees me relaxing while closing my eyes and the boat still goes the same speed* It's really nothing for him to keep going at this rate? I wonder if he can keep it up if I were to...Have my way with him-teia...-/-" Japri comments out loud, quickly getting our attention to her surprise, "Excuse me?" Wanda questioned, "! I-I mean if we were to have our way wi- NO! I-I MEAN! (One of 'em has to help me here!) D-dont our minds go there when he's the only guy and he's around 3 attractive women? o/o" Japri tries to correct, "I'd rather you keep that to yourself, Japri. We're supposed to focus and stay on guard. A sea king or two could pop up at any moment when we're this far out" Wanda told her, "Yeah. Be silly later 3" Carrot followed up, "*looks back at me as I stare back with a cautious look before turning back around* (Drrrrgh! Just you wait! I may've embarrassed myself now, but I will make him have my babies, AND he'll enjoy every second of it! My inner walls are irresistible and will drain him dry! M )" Japrila thought to herself before looking more attentive to watch over the boat.
Not long after, around an hour later, we were able to see in the very distant horizon two massive wonder animals in front of us. Though, a swarm of sea kinds were much closer to us compared to them. It's hard to make out, but the one on the right looks like a turtle. "What do you think we should do, Wanda?" I asked her, "The right seems to have way more sea kings, so it's best we go the other way. Whatever choice we make, we're going to have to fight some of them off" Wanda told us before channeling her Electro through her blade. "*sees a few staring this way and start coming closer in a rushing manner* Oooooo buncha meanie sea kings! Can they see we're trying to get somewhere? -V-" Carrot complained, "I can jet us through some of them but no guarantees here.." I told them and they came charging at us. Unknown to us, Motos saw through one of the sea king's eyes. "*sees us trying to steer to the left* Just as I expected. Then I must stay here...I have a certain 'Weapon' to attend to" Motos said to himself, walking from his throne. He goes into his dungeon, filled with various captured and locked up Minks, but behind them all was a sort of iron maiden casket, with a large electric ball above it. He places his hand right below the picture of a female Mink on it. It was someone. Someone he was familiar with. Whoever it was, he seeks to make this person into a "Weapon".
I was able to make us soar above most of the sea kings that were coming toward us, but then there were even taller ones behind those. "(Tail-Lectro can maybe take out 2 of them, but..) I'll help" Japrila said, blasting a beam of Electro from her body and a bigger one from her tail, making sure they shoot downwards and right under the boat we are on. She kept a constant stream of Electro this way, using it as a thruster to take us higher and higher. "*sees the sea kings back away but some get tased by her Electro coursing through the water* Good thinking! Now they should think twice about coming after us" I point out, "*sees pelican-like sea king dive at us from above with it's mouth wide open* Did it just fly out of water to do this?! Now it's gonna eat us! OoO" Carrot said in a panic, "*aims a hand downward to the right* Geyser Blast!" I shout, shooting a powerful burst of water out of my hand, blowing a 20x40ft hole in the sea below us, thrusting us fast enough to get out of the way of the giant thing's mouth in time. Japrila struggled to keep her stream of Electro going but my maneuver gave us a much clearer way to get to the giant lion way up ahead. "*gasps* Hey it's one of those giant animals like Zunesha-teia! Do you think you can- Woah! *sees how my arm is really bloody* Did that hurt alot? It looks pretty bad!" Carrot asked, "Imma..Need you and Wanda to throttle us there with your Electro..Think you can do it?" I asked her, "*looks at Wanda and she nods* We'll give it our all! *charges us alot of electricity into a ball in both hands* Hmmmmmm! ELECTRO!" Carrot shouts, "Electro!" Wanda said at the same time as her, shooting out her's in the same way, both doing so behind us. We must've at least went 800mph with their help, and with Japrila's help, we kept ascending higher and higher. Only one sea king was tall enough to stand in our way, which was part giraffe and part bird, who opened it's mouth to us, showing several rows of sharp teeth. Cmon now! We're almost touching the clouds at this point! "*sees it's mouth get wider* (They'll need my help here..But Imma need his too!) Hey! You have to use that move one more time! I'll follow up!" Japri told me, "If you say so..It better be really good...*puts a hand out, and kneels at the back end of the boat* Get down for this one, you two. GEYSER BLAST!" I shout with a wince, using a water blast that doubled our speed as it knocked Carrot and Wanda down, "Now my turn! Hold tight! *spins the boat around with some leaning and pulling of it's side then generates more Electro through body, using tail as the source, forming big horns with them* Rampaging Corn Nut Twister!" Japrila shouts, drilling through the huge sea king's rows of teeth, twisting his neck upon impact with his mouth, falling into the ocean below afterwards.
