INUYASHA: A Dog Ear Away

Inuyasha Takahashi sighed heavily to himself, why did he have to go to the summer festival with his older brother and sister in law? He wasn't a freaking toddler and being seen with two adults at his age around so many people made it all the more embarrassing.
"Inuyasha, do you want anything to eat, sweetie?" Rin asked kindly.
Rin was a very beautiful woman in her late twenties with dark brown hair and eyes, and currently was wearing a orange kimono.
"No," was all Inuyasha said, with unamused expression on his face, his violet colored eyes showing no emotion.
"Are you sure, you 'are' a growing kid, you should-"
"I said 'no' I'm fine Rin, I swear" Inuyasha stated finally, bowing his head letting his long black hair curtain his face from sight.
"Oh, okay if you say so" Rin said quietly.
"Hey! You will speak to your sister in law with respect, little brother" a man's deep serious voice stated sternly as he flicked Inuyasha on the head.
Inuyasha flinched and rubbed the side of his head, glaring at his brother.
Sesshomaru was Avery tall, broad man with long black hair and icy blue eyes, and an even more icy personality.
"It's been eight years since your mother and our father died, don't you think it's time you move on?" The man asked.
Inuyasha balled up his fists.
"Darling!" Rin scolded turning to face her husband.
"You are all so inconsiderate!" Inuyasha snapped angerly, not even waiting for the couple to respond as ran off from the festival, ignoring their calls for him to come back as well as the dirt he was getting on his red kimono.
Once a good enough distance away from the crowd, Inuyasha began to walk slowly and aimlessly into the cloudy night.
"I hate this stupid world so damn much, I hope the world ends soon…" he spat bitterly as he stared at his feet as he walked on.
It was then out of the corner of his eye Inuyasha spotted a small table booth off the beaten path of the area near the forest, and stopped
"Huh?" He breathed seeing that the person behind the table was an elderly woman with thick white hair, in a navy Prestiess robe with striking blue eyes.
Inuyasha cocked an eyebrow as he approached the table. "Masks…?" He wondered out loud, seeing the table with nearly a dozen masks, each one looked like the face of a different animal.
"Welcome" the older woman said in a rusty voice. "Would you care to try one on?"
Inuyasha blinked at her. Something about this woman was… off… but never less looked down and reached forward and picked up the mask that had the face of a white dog with triangular ears and a long snout…
