The scene switched to Brody at the bridge.
"Bro, our life is just so dope, awesome! I love this!" Brody screamed before he jumped down.
Geoff smiled only for him to realize... that Brody forgot to put on the bungee chord around his ankles. He screamed as he fell down and into the water.
Later, the Haters were back up to bat.
"I forgot how to put this on," Ryan claimed.
"You attach it to your ankle, like this." Stephanie demonstrated by attaching it to her own ankle.
She looked down and realized that the cord was now on her ankle and not his.
"Did you just reverse-jujitsu me with my own mind trick?" she asked.
"Have a nice fall!" Ryan taunted.
Stephanie yelled as she fell, "I HATE YOU!"
The camera panned away from Stephanie falling to the two of them in the confessional.
"Are you okay?" Ryan asked.
"Okay?" Stephanie began. "You pushed me off the bridge Ryan."
"Aw, you can't be too mad. You just set the record for the world's longest belly flop!"
"Did I want that record? No." Ryan laughed at her. "It's not funny!"
Back at the bridge, it was the cadets turn to try and catch a fish.
Sanders sighed as she returned to the bridge with her partner.
"Still no fish, huh? Step aside, partner. I'll take it from here." MacArthur ordered.
She attached the bungee cord to her ankle and jumped down in glee.
The Adversity Twins were shown at the stage, trying to do the challenge. Jay spoke at a medium-loud volume, while Mickey's voice could barely be heard.
"You need to be louder." Jay told Mickey.
"Like this?"
Mickey recited the chant and, this time at a normal volume. He was given a thumbs down.
"Better. But we still don't got it." Jay told him.
Jay did a solo interview.
"I'm beginning to wonder if we picked the right challenge to tackle. Then again between this and bungee jumping, it's possible we might be screwed."
He sighed, ending the interview.
A montage was shown showing Brody, jumping down with the chord this time, and Father and Son trying to complete the challenge, with Dwayne break-dancing and spinning, much to Junior's confusion. The judges nodded in disapproval. Ryan was coming up from the challenge, only to have grabbed an electric eel. The eel fell in Stephanie's arms and shocked her as she laughed. Carrie tried the dance, but failed. Jay and Mickey tried the dance, only for them to trip on a rock, and fail.
Back at the bridge, Body was jumping around, enjoying the challenge.
"The Goths become the second team to finish the bungee jump challenge."
"Wahoo!"
Kitty was shown jumping down the bridge, catching a bowery fish with her hands and holding it firmly by the tail end as she sprung back up.
"And the Sisters go for third."
A brief interview of the sisters was seen.
Emma smiled. "Nice work, Kitty!"
The fish tried to slip out of her hands before settling down. "Wow, um, thanks?
"No problem. Let's move!"
The two left promptly, ending the interview.
Meanwhile, at the stage, the twins and best friends were trying to do the dance correctly.
The scene switched over to Carrie and Devin, the former trying to complete the dance.
Carrie tried to recite the chant as Devin paced angrily. "Hoo ha ooh ba. Ba-burrito? I don't think that's it."
"Let's do this! Hoo ah ooh, Shelley you troll! Hoo-hah I will crush you under my winter boot! You will beg for mercy!"
A mountain shot was shown before turning back to the Best Friends.
"Oh uh, Devin. I think we have to start to over
"What?" He got up in the faces of the judges. "What was wrong with it?"
The red-haired judge quickly said, "It was perfect, would you just go?"
The scene switched to an interview between the two best friends.
"We passed." Carrie told her partner.
Devin was still mad. "I hate how great that challenge felt. Felt so good!"
The scene switched to Carrie in Devin's arm, Crimson holding the fish as she ran beside Ennui, and Kitty holding the fish as she ran next to her sister Emma.
"The Best Friends, Goths and Sisters are in foot race for second."
The sisters ran ahead. The fish flopping in Kitty's hands as they went forward. The fish flopped onto the carpet as the sisters made it.
"Second place to the Sisters."
"Yay!" Emma exclaimed.
"Third to the Best Friends."
"Not bad." Carrie remarked offscreen.
"Goths take 4th."
"Yoohoo! Sweaty people!" Josee taunted as the camera showed her and Jacques in lounge chairs relaxing. "We were wondering when you would arrive. We've been waiting for hours..."
The scene switched to the Ice Dancers in an interview.
"Coming in first means you get the royal treatment. Ice drinks, gourmet meals, foot rubs..."
Jacques looked at the smiling Josee in surprise. "Foot rubs?" And folded his arms. "I didn't get one of those."
The scene switched to a different interview, this time with the Sisters.
"I can't believe how well that went." Kitty stated.
"Of course we are! We're two awesome women with no surrender and no distractions!"
Kitty smiled and giggled nervously, her eyes darting away from the camera.
And finally, the Best Friends were interviewed.
"We went from near bottom to second place." Carrie told the audience. "I mean Devin may be a bit scary, but as long as he stays this driven. We really have a chance of winning this!"
Devin growled before the camera filtered out and showed the Ice Dancers again.
"Devin and Carrie have no chance of winning this." Josee began.
"We've added them to our enemies list." Jacques added with a whistle. "It's getting longer."
A brief montage was shown with the Haters and the Surfer Dudes.
"Fifth place!"
"Sixth place!"
"Only three teams are left," Don narrated, showing the Cadets, Adversity Twins and Father and Son in three slots on a split screen, before the right part took over the entire screen and Dwayne and Junior tried to dance, only for Dwayne to break dance again.
"Dad, what are you doing?" Junior asked exasperated.
"Magister. Bro-ifying the dance. Adding some hip cool juice. Wahoo wahoo waoh!" Dwayne started walking backwards. "Look at me I'm moonwalking."
Junior sighed.
Over on the other side of the arena, the twins were still struggling with the challenge, due to Mickey accidentally hitting his brother in the face.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry."
Jay groaned. "It's fine. This wouldn't be the first time." After an awkward pause, he added, "Or the second. Or third."
"Maybe we should switch to the other challenge?" Mickey suggested.
"There's no time." Jay told him. He breathed in. "We can do this! Just follow my lead!"
Slowly but surely, Mickey and Jay recited the chant and completed the dance three different times, becoming even louder and more confident with each one.
The judges nodded and gave them two thumbs up each.
"We did it!" Mickey cheered.
Back at the bridge, Sanders was doing the bungee-down challenge and had finally caught a bowery fish.
"Finally! We got one."
"Let's go partner!"
MacArthur slapped Sander's backside and the fish flopped and onto Sanders's head. "Woah, woah!"
"Oops."
Back at the stage, Dwayne and Junior were trying the challenge again, with Dwayne dancing weirdly again.
"Dad, stop!"
"My moves are super cool."
"No, they're super not!"
Dwayne glared at his son. "Oh, but they're cool?"
"Uh, they're huge men with face tattoos, so yeah, automatically awesome." Junior reasoned.
"Yeah, but..."
"Dad, you are not cool and you never will be!" Dwayne hung his head down in shame, knowing his son was right. Junior put his hand to his dad's shoulder as he apologized. "Oh dad... I'm sorry."
"Let's just get this over with." he said, slowly becoming determined.
The two completed the challenge, getting thumbs up from each of the judges and a few tears before switching to them in an interview.
"I'm sorry I tried too hard." Dwayne apologized. "I just thought if I could be cooler... you'd... appreciate me more and want to spend time with me."
Junior consulted the magazine. "According to this, I'm supposed to be pulling away right now. What's happening is normal. It doesn't mean you're not cool."
"I'm coolish? I'll take it."
Back at the Chill Zone...
"Lady Cops, you're in seventh place!" Don announced.
"Oh man that was close!" Sanders exclaimed. The fish bit her head. "Ow! Now can someone get this fish off my head?!"
The ladies walked out of the camerashot and MacArthur was heard groaning as she tried to get the fish off.
Don smiled as he greeted the next team...
"Eighth place."
Which was the twins.
Mickey sighed in relief. "Phew. Another close shave."
Jay nodded in agreement. "No kidding."
The twins walked off as Father and Son arrived at the carpet of completion.
"Dwayne Sr, Dwayne Junior. I'm sorry to say this, but you're in last place."
Junior cried, "Aw man..."
"Well, looks like I tried too hard to be cool and it cost us the challenge..." Dwayne lamented.
"Is what I would I would have said if it was an elimination round! Congratulations, you two are still in the game!"
"Really?
"Wahoo!" they both exclaimed.
The two were shown in the last interview.
"Alright, I need to put this behind us and focus on the next challenge." Junior affirmed. "No more distractions."
"And no more trying too hard." Dwayne added.
"Who will be next to go?" Don asked. "Only one way to find out, next time on... the Ridonculous Race!"
Don smiled for the camera as the episode ended.
