Author's Notes:

-Hey guys. Happy new year! Also, sorry for no updates in a long time. I've been busy between work, tending to my other fic EL and a million other distractions. However, EL will soon be on hiatus to plan out the next phase and so I can focus on other works like this one.

"Booyah, partner! Not in last place! Not in last place! Not in..."

The ice cracked underneath them and soon drifted, leaving the Cadets stuck in the icy river.

"Aw crud..." MacArthur groaned.

"As the cadets float away, the other teams continue to work away." Don narrated.

The Sisters worked as Emma sawed away at the ice and Kitty put the blocks in place.

"Alright, we got the first floor done." Kitty said. "Should need about a dozen more blocks."

"Got it."

She sawed the ice as Dwayne worked to saw the ice, panting as he did so.

"Come on Dad! Just thirty more blocks."

"I'm sawing as fast as... I... can. Maybe I can..." A rip sound was heard. "Ow!" He pulled the saw out, a line of red shown on the ground and looked at his other hand. "Oh no..."

His left hand had a large cut across the palm and wrist.

"Dad! Are there any medics?!"

The Best Friends arrived on the scene.

Carrie squinted in apprehension as Dwayne looked around for help. "Yikes... so, okay. This should be a good spot to set up."

"Alright." Devin said, still apathetic.

"Oh..." Junior groaned.

Junior took the ice block his father dug out, and set it on top of another, the blood dripping down onto the ones below it..

Meanwhile, the Goths had their large pile of snow and started digging at it. "Now we hollow it out."

Ennui, Crimson and on the ground Loki started to hollow out the snow pile.

Jacques sawed away at the ice and Josee put the blocks into place.

Meanwhile, as the Twins tried to toss a ring onto a narwhal, they tried to focus on their target. Mickey threw the ring and closed his eyes, and opened them and

"Yes! You did it!" Jay cheered. "Let's go!"

He noticed Geoff still slouching in sorrow. "Wait, one thing." Mickey took one of the rings he found earlier. "Here, take this." He put the ring into Geoff's hand. "If I can do it, so can you."

With these words of wisdom, Mickey hopped on the snowmobile and the twins left. Geoff closed his eyes, breathed in and gave a serious look as he threw the ring. He cheered as he saw and heard the ring being hooked onto the narwhal.

"Aw yeah!"

"Sweet!"

The Surfer Dudes soon took off.

The scene switched to the Adversity Twins riding through the tundra. Jay was in front, driving the snowmobile as his younger brother Mickey held on tight.

"Alright, that took a long time, but if we speed through, we should be able to make it to the igloo site before the Surfers." Jay told him.

"Jay, look out!" Mickey warned.

Suddenly, a baby seal with a gold ring around its neck and body appeared, startling the twins.

"Ahh!"

They screamed as they drove off a pile of snow and landed into a snow hole.

Back at the igloo building site, The Surfer Dudes arrived and got to work as everyone built their igloos. Dwayne tried to saw the blocks with his opposite hand before handing the blocks to junior one at a time, Carrie put blocks into place and Emma quickly sawed away at the ice.

A few moments later, the Ice Dancers noticed the tension between the Surfers.

Interview; Ice Dancers

"The tension seed has sprouted." Jacques said.

Josee followed, "Now it's time to make it ka-Bloom!"

End Interview

"Hey, you need to pick it up." Josee taunted. "Brody told Jacques that you've been dragging him down."

"No... he isn't that upset about being last to finish the

"Oh he is." Jacques added.

Geoff turned away in sorrow as the Ice Dancers smirked.

Interview; Geoff

The scene showed Geoff facing the camera in the snowy tundra.

"Is he still upset with me for being the last one to finish the challenge? Oh dang. I gotta kick it into overdrive!"

End Interview

At this, Geoff picked up his pace, placing ice blocks onto the wall of the igloo very quickly.

"Woah, woah, slow and steady dude!" Brody warned.

"No way, we're too far behind!" Geoff told him.

Their igloo soon fell apart.

"Dude..." Brody sighed.

As the Surfers emotions sunk under the waves, Kitty put the last piece of ice into the igloo, completing the structure.

"There! We're done!" Kitty exclaimed.

The local gave them a thumbs-up and Emma cheered.

Kitty looked around anxiously. "Mickey and Jay haven't arrived here yet. Are they okay?"

Emma just brushed her off. "Doesn't matter. Let's go."

Kitty screamed as her older sister dragged her along.

Carrie placed some blocks onto the igloo, seeing that it was two thirds of the way done.

At that same time, the Ice Dancers finished their igloo.

Josee waved at her, "Hey, hey, you! We're done!"

The local gave them a thumbs-up before the Ice Dancers rushed off. The native got up, snow covering her amused face.

Not too long thereafter, the Surfer Dudes slowly rebuilt the igloo.

"Oh man, I don't want to be the reason we get sent home."

"It's not your fault, it's mine." Brody told him.

"Maybe it's nobody's fault." Geoff suggested.

The brunette dude looked at him. "Really?"

"Maybe we just gotta chill on the stress, and finish this igloo. We're not falters, we're surfers."

"Yeah, we can do this!"

Brody cried tears of joy as they gradually repaired the broken igloo.

Meanwhile, the Cadets were still gloating away.

"The freezing temperature of the water might kill us, but we have no choice." MacArthur toward her partner. "You go first!" Sanders glared at her. "What, too cold?"

Suddenly a narwhal placed its tusk onto the ice cube, pushing MacArthur and Sanders forward. "Ah yeah!"

Interview; Cadets

MacArthur smiled. "I used to hate all mammals, but this narwhal is pretty cool!"

"Uh, we're mammals." a confused Sanders reminded her.

"I know."

End Interview

At that time, the sisters arrived at the carpet of completion.

"Sisters, you're in first place!" Don told them.

"Yoohoo!" Emma cheered.

Not too far behind them, the Ice Dancers arrived at the chilliest chill zone.

"Second place is pretty darn good."

Josee snarled. "This is what I think of second place."

She walked up to the snowman, bit off his carrot nose, punched his head off and snapped his stick arms.

Don grew apprehensive. "Stop! You're hurting Chilly Billy!"

By the end, Chilly Billy was nothing more than a dismantled snow heap as Josee laughed.

"Billy!" Don got to his knees. "WHYYYYYYYYY?"

Interview:

"The next team we chose to destroy won't be so lucky." Josee declared. "And I know who we're targeting next."

End Interview

Back at the igloo, Junior was noticing his father struggling to cut the ice. Their igloo was only a third done due his father's reduced speed.

"Here, I'll take the saw. You put the blocks in place."

Dwayne looked at his son in worry. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure! Almost everyone here is over halfway done!"

He reluctantly handed the saw to him. "Please be careful."

Junior gave his dad a reassuring smile. "Don't worry dad. I will."

Soon the Cadets and the Twins arrived as Junior began sawing at the ice.

Sanders was relieved. "Phew. We made it."

Mickey looked at the igloos around him. "Igloos. Okay, this shouldn't be too hard, right?"

"Start cutting me blocks and don't stop until I say so!"

"I'll get to sawing." Jay remarked.

The Cadets quickly settled into a rhythm.

"Block!"

"Block! Placing."

"Sawing. Block!

"Block!"

As the other teams got to work, the Surfer Dudes arrived.

"Third place goes to the Surfers!"

"Third place is good! What's his problem?"

"Sometimes a dude's just gotta cry." Geoff exclaimed.

Brody hugged Geoff and Don.

The host was startled. "Help! A little help here!"

Interview; Surfers

"We know that the Ice Dancers were messing with our heads." Geoff told the camera crew.

"That's below the belt." Brody continued. "And you know what's below the belt?"

Geoff pointed to his feet. "Socks! Socks reek, yo!"

End Interview

A brief montage was seen as Don narrated.

"As more and more teams get the thumbs up, and some are doing other stuff..."

The Goths were carving out some lines into their skull igloo, and the native girl gave a confused thumbs up.

"The last three teams try to catch up."

Many of the teams left, leaving the Cadets, Father and Son and the Adversity Twins as the last ones remaining. Dwayne handed a block to Junior as Mickey finished the first line.

"Alright, the first layer is done!" Mickey exclaimed.

"Good work, Mickey! Now keep it up!"

The results of the next few teams were shown.

Best Friends in fourth,

"Fourth."

Goths in fifth.

"Fifth."

The Cadets arrived.

"And sixth place goes to the Cadets. As the cold begins to settle in, it's a race between Father and Son and the Adversity Twins to not come in last place. Dang, it's freezing!"

A montage was shown of them working on the igloos. Jay squinted in apprehension as he sawed the blocks, and Junior exhaled, his breath shown in the frigid air as he continued sawing. Dwayne and Mickey placed blocks on top of each other.

"Done!" they all shouted.

She gave them thumbs up and they all dashed off.

The other dude from earlier brought the girl a flower, and she kissed him, tackling him to the ground.

With Dwayne and Jay driving their snowmobiles, they screamed and ended up hitting a pile of snow. The four men were all trapped in a growing snowball, causing Don to run as the snowball approached the chill zone.

The giant snowball came to a stop, and the father-son duo emerged first.

"Father and Son, you're in seventh place!" Don announced.

"Haha! Yes!"

"Wahoo!"

The twins poked their heads out of the snowball.

"The way that race ended in a giant snowball in pain is rather symbolic of the struggles you've faced. Sadly, you're the last team to arrive." he informed.

Mickey sighed. "Aw..."

Jay looked at his twin. "Well, we tried our best."

"At least we made it past the halfway point."

"Sending you home is what I would do, if this were an elimination round, but it's not. You get to stay!"

Jay smiled. "Phew."

"We're saved!" Mickey exclaimed.

Interview; Adversity Twins

The scene showed the twins still in the tundra, now out of the snowball.

"That was close." Jay said.

"Too close.

"Well we just have to do better." Jay told himself and his brother. "We're not ready to go home."

"Not yet." Mickey agreed.

"Next time, we'll redeem ourselves."

"You know we will."

End Interview

Don smiled for the camera. "The underdog twins still remain. But can they keep their place in the race? Stay tuned for more chills, thrills on- the Ridonculous Race!"
