"Last time, on the Ridonculous Race…"
A montage as the camera showed narrated the last episode's events; teams were shown running through the airport, showing the stage, followed by the Goths successfully doing their magic trick, the Surfers each having a turn at dune buggies, and Mickey and Kitty interacting backstage before the former collapsed onto the carpet and Mickey waking up with Kitty nearby.
"Lady luck brought us to Vegas, city of lights and long nights. The Goths made magic happen and snatched first place. And while it seemed the Adversity Twins and/or the Sisters might be down for the count, Mickey came to his senses and the Sisters learned it was a non-elimination round. Who will collapse under the pressure? It's time for.. the Ridonculous Race."
Don flashed a smile for the camera.

The scene showed the carpet of completion as Don announced the Goth's arrival.
"We're back in sunny Nevada and the unsunny Goths are preparing to receive today's first tip."
Crimson got the tip from the Don box, stoic as ever. "It's time to go to Mexico. Ole."
A montage began of Don showing off the featured country, starting with a beach sunset postcard, before shifting to a sunny palm tree, and a fly burning in the salsa before it exploded over the camera.
"I think you mean Olé! Yes, there's plenty to get excited about in beautiful Mexico- where the sun is hot and so is the salsa."
The camera showed Don standing on a sandy beach with mountains in the background.
"Teams must take a form of local transit known as 'The Chicken Bus', all the way here to the beautiful cliffs of Acapulco for their next challenge."
Interview; Father and Son
"The Chicken Bus?" Dwayne questioned. "Huh. Strange name, but hopefully it's just shaped like a chicken."
Junior gave a concerned glance at the camera before looking at his dad in the same way. "Aren't you worried about jinxing us again?"
Dwayne nervously chuckled.
End Interview
The scene transitioned to the Surfer Dudes getting their tip, along with another unidentified hand.
"We're going to Mexico bro!" Geoff cheered.
"Ah, perfect, I was just craving some chimichangas!" Brody exclaimed.
Josee, with her partner Jacques following closely behind, got the tip before the scene cut to an interview.
Interview; Ice Dancers
Josee scowled at the camera. "No more underestimating the competition. Those gothic vampires got lucky in Vegas but their luck is about to change."
"Not vampires, but I hate them so much!"
"You're interrupting me."
Jacques scoffed. "So I'm just supposed to stand here and be the pretty one?"
"Ah, no, you support the pretty one." Josee gestured to herself. "Hel-lo."
End Interview
"The Sisters are the last one to get their tip." Don narrated.
Kitty pressed the button, reading the tip. "Mexico. Ole!"
Emma wordlessly ran forth, before both sisters were shown in different parts of the desert.
Interview; Emma
"Okay, Kitty is definitely hiding something. I need to find out what it is. Maybe the next challenge will help me get some answers out of her.."
New Interview; Kitty
"Oh, why didn't I tell him how I really feel? I'm not that afraid of what my sister would think…" She glanced directly at the camera nervously. "Am I?"
End Interviews
The scene transitioned to a standard bus with tons of luggage on its roof driving along a desert road.
"All teams are now on the bus and heading to Acapulco." Don narrated.
Interview; The Sisters
"When we heard that we were taking a chicken bus, we thought, 'You know, that's just an expression.'" Kitty admitted.
End Interview
Smiling, Kitty set up her camera as she took a pic with a few chicks. "Say cheese, chiquita."
The phone's camera snapped an image as the scene transitioned to Father and Son.
"Man, your mother would throw a fit if she was on this bus." Dwayne remarked.
"You're not wrong there!"
The two shared a laugh.
"Thankfully I got some nose plugs." Junior remarked.
Dwayne smiled at this as he and Junior put them in. "Man, you really came prepared."
Geoff turned to his friend. "You got the Gorditas?"
Brody pulled up several stained boxes of food stacked on top of each other. "Oh, and the burritos."
The camera shifted over to the Adversity Twins, their jackets taken off and used as seat covers. Jay and Mickey were shown wearing jersey shirts of yellow and black, with the numbers of 3 and 7 on them. .
Mickey looked at his jacket below him. "Well, we can wash these later, right?"
"Hopefully." Jay said. "Unrelated topic, was Kitty trying to tell you something a few days ago after we had gotten to the chill zone?"
"I'm not sure…" Mickey looked at his brother, the sound of chickens making his voice barely audible to others around him. "But, can I confide in you?"
Jay smiled. "Of course. You can tell me anything."
"It's about Kitty. I… I think I like her. Like, like-like her. But I'm not sure what to do. I know you want to get as far as possible, maybe even win the money for mom if we can… What should I do?"
"Mickey, I want you to be happy. But I do want to get as far as we can. Remember what Mr. Lyre said to one of his students regarding romantic advice? He said you should listen to your heart, but don't ignore your head."
Mickey nodded, feeling slightly better. "Okay. Thanks."
The scene transitioned to Geoff and Brody as they finished their feast. A box fell onto the ground, joining a pile of several empty ones.
"It's official; bus station burritos are the best thing ever." Geoff declared.
Brody commented, "I know, and this is our last one."
He looked at the burrito with a loving look, his eyes widened in anticipation, tongue out and mouth watering, then drooling.
"You eating that or making out with it?" MacArthur asked.
"Ah don't be jealous, my little chalupa. Try it." Brody offered.
Sanders quickly pulled her back. "She doesn't want any."
MacArthur looked up at her partner before she was let go. "Uh, pretty sure you're wrong."
Sanders bit back a sigh before asking, "Do I have to tell you why it's a bad idea to eat a sketchy fish taco?"
MacArthur relented with a sigh. "Ten-four officer, standing down."
The Ice Dancers discussed some strategies as a baby chick landed on Crimson's head.
"Ah, maybe we can turn em against each other."
"Won't work. They're stuck together like glue."
"Maybe they don't have weaknesses." Jacques told her.
"Everyone has a weakness." Josee told him. At that moment, Loki jumped down from Ennui's shirt to his lap. Ennui silently gave him a pet. "And I think we just found it."
The Chicken Bus was shown coming to a stop.
"After an eighteen hour bus ride, our teams are revved up and ready to rumble." Don narrated.
Brody and Geoff were shown running immediately off the bus looking very uncomfortable.
"Toiletti? Bathroomo?" Brody asked.
"No time bro, run for cover!" Geoff exclaimed.
"There's the Don Box!" Dwayne exclaimed, pointing up ahead.
The Sisters, Father and Son, and the Cadets ran forth as the Surfers tried to relieve themselves.
"Oh, my tummy…" Geoff moaned.
"I told you not to eat any of that stuff!" MacArthur remarked in faux bravado.
"I told you!" Sanders scolded.
The scene switched to the Goths, Adversity Twins and Ice Dancers walking towards the Don Box. The twins slightly behind them, their jackets left behind.
"So, uh, do you like stuff?" Jacques asked the Goths.
"Not particularly." Crimson answered.
"Stuff is so mainstream." Ennui remarked.
Jacques laughed. "You are so funny! Did anyone ever tell you that?"
"No." they both answered.
Jacques fell back as Mickey ran forward in an attempt to catch up with the crowd.
"Mickey, your shoes are untied!" Jay warned.
"Huh?"
He noticed it only too late, tripping on his laces, sending him backwards right into Jacques, causing him to fall forth and get a faceful of sand. Ennui quickly backed out of the way, getting closer to Crimson, who took the bunny.
"You're coming with me."
Crimson held Loki in her arms before lifting them and having him hop onto her head.
Mickey saw that he had landed right on Jacques and quickly got up, apologizing, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!"
He knelt to tie his shoes and ran forth, catching up to his brother and the two took off.
Interview; Ice Dancers
"Curses! Our plan is ruined! The twins' bad luck is rubbing off on us." Josee remarked from afar. "Now what?!"
"We'll have to wing it." Jacques told her. He spit out some sand. "Maybe we should eliminate them next."
End Interview
Meanwhile, the Twins had just caught up with the Cadets, Sisters, and Father and Son. MacArthur was the first to get a tip.
"It's an all-in." Junior read.
Jay read the tip. "Who loves peppers…"
"And who loves dip?" Emma finished.
The camera cut to Don demonstrating the challenge, showing off the mountain and its jump points.
"For this all-in challenge, one team member must eat a hot pepper from this food cart. Once eaten, wave the corresponding flag color. Then the second member must make like an Acapulcoan cliff diver. Eat the hottest pepper, and your partner leaps from the lowest ledge. There. Eat a mid range pepper and your partner from there, but eat the mildest pepper and your partner is basically jumping from the space station. Jumpers will find their next tip attached to canteens anchored along the bottom of the bay. The canteens are filled with just enough cold milk to soothe the burns.
The scene shifted away from the mountains to Don narrating, showing a red card in play.
"Oh, and one more thing. There's another boomerang in play. Whoever finds it can use it on another team to make them repeat the last challenge. Just to add some extra spice to those hot, hot peppers!"
The scene switched to the teams present at the site.
"You jump, I'll eat." Mickey instructed. "Hopefully I can take the hottest pepper."
"Alright. Shouldn't be a problem." Jay ran off to start climbing the rock.
"How do you feel about eating a pepper?" Sanders asked.
"I could eat a bowl of fire with lava smeared on top." MacArthur bragged.
Interview; Cadets
"I'm all about the spice. Back at the academy, they call me 'The Volcano."
Sanders looked a little annoyed. "You think people call you that because you eat spicy food?"
"Why else would they call me that? What could possibly be the reason for…?!" MacArthur calmed down as she realized, "Oh, because of my temper."
End Interview
The Surfers were shown at the Don Box, having already read the tip.
"I eat one more bite of anything and I'm gonna need a new pair of shorts…" Brody moaned.
Geoff burped. "Oh...kay, I think I just made a little bit of space. Let's go!"
The Ice Dancers and Goths arrived at the challenge site.
"As the last two teams arrive, the other teams dig in."
Interview; The Twins
"Well, we can't really feel hot or cold on our skin, so, surely the hottest pepper can't be that bad, right?" Mickey questioned.
End Interview
The younger twin tried taking a bite of the hottest pepper, only for his face to turn red and spit it out immediately. His tongue was burnt and his eyes puffy and red.
"Mickey?! What's wrong?!"
Mickey screamed as he ducked his head into the ocean.
MacArthur went over and dragged his head out of the water. "What's the matter, Prince Charming, can't handle the heat?
"Oh, I was wrong…" Mickey admitted.
"Just eat the medium pepper! I'll climb up one!" Jay told him.
Mickey sighed in relief.
"Way to impress the nice girly-girl." She dropped his head back into the water before walking up to the pepper cart. "Back at the academy I used to pepper spray all my meals to build up an immunity." She grabbed a handful of the hottest peppers and ate them. "So eating the hottest pepper is easy-peasy."
Only moments afterwards, her face twitched and heated up, much to Sanders' concern. Her eyes spun as the heat built up and fire came out of her mouth.
"Sanders, jump!" She waved her red flag. "I need milk!"
Sanders gave a thumbs up and quickly jumped down.
"Sweet baby allstein I need milk! MILK! Why would anyone eat this?" MacArthur groaned.
The camera switched to Dwayne grabbing one of the hottest peppers as Junior readied himself to dive.
Dwayne took the hottest one and soon his eyes went wide, causing (temporarily) blindness. "Oh no! Not again!"
Junior tried to guide him to the right flag. "Dad! Head three paces to the left!"
"The hottest one can't be that bad…" Kitty said to herself.
A heat-exhausted MacArthur collapsed on the ground. "Kill… me."
Mickey was shown drinking the salt water of the sea; Dwayne accidentally stumbled into a yellow flag.
"Okay, medium it is!" Kitty declared.
Interview; The Sisters
"The bravest decision isn't always the smartest one." Emma remarked.
"Seriously, I love spicy food, but those peppers are hotter than the sun." Kitty told her audience.
End Interview
An exhausted Sanders ran up to MacArthur.
"I couldn't find the milk." Sanders quickly reported.
"I don't care if you have to milk a mother manatee!" MacArthur picked up her partner and threw her back into the ocean. "Don't come back without milk!"
"As the Cadets try to hold on to their lead, the Goths, Ice Dancers and Sisters try to catch up. And Mickey has recovered enough to try a medium pepper."
The younger brother held the pepper in his right hand. "Okay Mickey, you've got this."
He closed his eyes and chomped down quickly, the heat rushing to his cheeks and screamed as his eyes puffed up. "Hurry Jay!"
Mickey waved the green flag frantically.
Jay got a running start and quickly jumped down, landing in the water… with a painful flop. He sank down and started swimming around.
Kitty was shown eating the medium pepper.
"You can do it, kits!" Emma encouraged her.
Her face turned red and she screamed, running in panic. "Hot, hot, hot! Oh! It burns! Jump!" Kitty cried out, waving the green flag.
Emma jumped off the cliff. She was also the first to grab a milk canteen as Jay got bitten by a fish. He suppressed a scream as Sanders winced and Emma swam to the surface.
Kitty was sweating a lot. "Oh thank goodness."
Emma glared at her sister. "Hold on. You're not getting this until you tell me why you were so concerned about Mickey during the last challenge."
