Here is another chapter for you all!!! The plot is really taking shape in my mind and I'm proud of it. Honestly, this fic has turned into an Exile Au situation. I was supposed to make a one-shot out of this Au idea and then created a full on storyline!!!
Review, favorite and follow!!

"What are RiverClan warriors doing on our territory?" Morningpaw was unsurprised by the loud booming exclaim that came from an outraged Darkstripe. The sleek, dark gray tabby warrior with black stripes had always been the first to state his nugatory opinion on others. This time wasn't any different.
I'm going to refer to him as Dirtstripe from now on, Morningpaw spitefully thought to herself. I hope an apprentice ends up putting maggots in his nest tonight. Morningpaw spared the traitorous rogue only a small glare as she was led past her former dead enemy. Though Morningpaw didn't pay attention to him long. Not when Whitestorm led the three RiverClan cat's down a rocky ravine and through an all too familiar gorse tunnel. It was nostalgic to once again enter her former home of her past life. It was here that she had learned the meaning of the warrior code, it was here that she had made friends and a family, it was here that she had led them with pride alongside the blessing of StarClan.
But that was all in a past life. A life where she has a different name. A different home. Filled with different friends and family. A different purpose entirely.
Morningpaw was led into ThunderClan's camp not as a Clanmate or ally, but as an enemy and rival.
As soon as Morningpaw had stepped a paw in the sandy clearing, multiple sets of eyes were immediately upon her and her companions. Morningpaw could sense the way Whitepaw and Silverstream had tensed up. Morningpaw felt a little tense herself, but the memories and melancholy were suppressing her rationality and blinding her to the very real danger that surrounded the RiverClan cats.
Morningpaw's breath caught in her throat at the sight of Bluestar rapidly approaching the group of cat's and the unexpected RiverClan cats that they brought along.
"Someone tell me what in StarClan's name is going on!" Morningpaw shivered at the commanding tone that Bluestar typically used when using her position of authority to lead her Clan. It's been a long time since Morningpaw had heard it in the living flesh. Seeing Morningpaw's, or more accurately Firestar's, former mentor and leader, made the ache for her former life that much more tangible.
Mistyfoot lookalike padded forward to stand in front of the patrol. Her ice-blue eyes, the same shade of color as Mistyfoot and Stonfur's, raked over the group till they landed on Whitestorm.
"We found these three RiverClan warriors and two of our own apprentices returning from what Graypaw had told me was a rescue mission to reclaim Frostfur's kidnapped kits."
Bluestar was taken aback but before she could say anything a frantic Frostfur burst from the nursery, looking around frantically before she spotted Mousefur and Runningwind holding the rest of her kits.
"My kits! My kits! You've found them." Frostfur didn't wait till Mousefur and Runningwind set the pair of kits down before smothering the kits beneath the swipe of her tongue.
Witnessing the love that was being showered upon the kits made Morningpaw recall a past life where she herself had gazed upon two kits with unwavering adoration. The phantom feeling of willingness to sacrifice whatever needed for those two lives that Firestar had helped create.
Morningpaw wondered if she would ever experience such a blessing again.
Bluestar had also glanced over during the snow-white queen's reunion with her kits. Something softened in the pale blue-gray leader's gaze as she turned back to the three RiverClan cats. "I'd like to hear the three of you, you're side of the story. What was it that brought three RiverClan warriors to the aid of ThunderClan."
"Well, it goes something like this--"
Morningpaw spent the time alternating between herself and a very helpful Graypaw in explaining the entire situation to the majority of ThunderClan and their leader. Of course a few details were left out, one being the fact that Morningpaw purposely lingered around Sunningrocks just to catch the attention of one specific ThunderClan's apprentice, and the second being the identity as to who had willingly and freely indulged the information about the kidnapped kits. Morningpaw would protect Ravenpaw regardless of where they now stood on opposite sides of the border. Something's were forgotten under the grief of telling them about the brave sacrifice of Yellowfang for the Clan that took her in when she had nowhere else to go. Morningpaw could spot the grief that speckled Bluestar's eyes for a moment before it disappeared underneath the blink of an eye.
"Then we were chased out of ShadowClan territory by some ShadowClan warriors and made it safely onto ThunderClan's territory before being found by one of your patrols." Morningpaw finished.
Bluestar thought about this a moment, sharp eyes narrowing. "I see. So, ThunderClan is indebted to RiverClan."
"Wait!" Morningpaw tensed and forcibly kept herself in check as Tigerclaw forced his way in the front, swinging his head to look at his leader and then glared at the RiverClan cats. "How do we know that they haven't had a paw in stealing the kits in the first place?"
"We had nothing to do with your kits being kidnapped!" Whitepaw hissed, hackles rising in outrage. "You're a minnow-brain to think we'd ever bother with stealing someone else's kits. RiverClan warriors don't go around breaking the warrior code. We'd also never aid some fox-hearts like ShadowClan!"
Though Whitepaw's words were harsh. Rippled approval went through the surrounding crowd of ThunderClan's warriors. "Well said, youngster." Whitestorm could be heard saying.
Morningpaw shared a look with Silverstream, both she-cat's rolled their eyes at their snowy-white pawed friends' hot tempered reflex. Usually Whitepaw was more mellow and easygoing, but with what they've all been through with ShadowClan, Morningpaw didn't blame him for snapping. The flame-colored she-cat apprentice could also see a bit of Whitepaw's mentor in him as well at that exact moment.
"I understand your doubt, Tigerclaw," Bluestar meowed, "but these RiverClan cats seem genuine and regardless of their intentions they still saved ThunderClan's kits. I also trust our two apprentices…warriors." Something overcame Bluestar then as she gestured for Whitestorm to stay with the three RiverClan cats as she leaped upon the leaders perch as she called her Clan to order, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!" It was unnecessary seeing as all of ThunderClan's warriors were already assembled from both the return of the kits and the appearance of RiverClan cats in their camp. But regardless the ThunderClan cat's came closer to the base of the Highrock to hear what their leader had to say.
"Two of our apprentices, alongside the sacrifice of Yellowfang, had gone above and beyond in rescuing Frostfur's kits who had been kidnapped by ShadowClan and had safely returned. Though we cannot honor Yellowfang, we can still honor the living, Graypaw and Ravenpaw, come forward."
The two ThunderClan apprentices in question shared a bewildered look before stepping forward. However the three RiverClan cats shared looks of understanding, it was clear as to what Bluestar was planning to do with the pair of apprentices.
"Graypaw, Ravenpaw, it was you two who rescued Frostfur's kits, and both of you deserve a great reward for your bravery," Bluestar meowed. "It is time for you to become warriors."
The apprentice's mouth fell open. But Graypaw quickly recovered as his chest puffed out with gusto, Ravenpaw was just as excited if you looked into his eyes. Though there also seemed to be something more to the sleek-furred black tom. Both waited as Bluestar pronounced the ritual words.
"I, Bluestar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn." She fixed her blue gaze on Graypaw and Ravenpaw. "Graypaw, Ravenpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Ravenpaw trembled slightly, but his voice was steady as he meowed, "I do."
Graypaw's fur bristled and his yellow eyes widened in anticipation as he replied, "I do."
"Then by the power of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Ravenpaw, from this moment you will be known as Ravenwing, StarClan honors your bravery and your loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan."
When she finished speaking Bluestar stepped up to Ravenwing and rested her muzzle on his bowed head. Ravenwing licked her shoulder respectfully, then walked over to stand with the warriors.
"Graypaw," Bluestar turned to the gray tom who looked on with anticipation. "From this moment on you will be known as Grayfang. StarClan honors your courage and loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan." the newly named Grayfang walked up to his leader, with shining yellow eyes, Bluestar rested her muzzle on his bowed head. And Grayfang licked her shoulder respectfully, then stepping back he walked over to stand with the rest of the ThunderClan warriors.
The watching cats raised their voices chanting the new warrior's name. "Ravenwing, Grayfang, Ravenwing, Grayfang!" They began to press around them, congratulating and wishing them well.
Bluestar left her Clan to enjoy the new warriors and came forward once again to address the RiverClan trio. "We thank you for your help here today. But it's time that we escort you back to your camp. I'd like a word with Crookedstar."
Instantly all three RiverClan cats' tails dropped. Crookedstar will not be pleased to find out what they had been up to this entire time.
Please StarClan, let Crookedstar be in a good mood when we return! Morningpaw hopes that StarClan could hear her plea.

Fun Facts:
Did you know that if Cherith could have been able to make Ravenpaw a warrior, she would have named him Ravenwing?
I also really like the name Grayfang and so plan on using it in my main series later on. But I like the foreshadowing in this AU for now.
Yeah, I got some interactions and a base for further interactions between ThunderClan and RiverClan. You can sort of see who is who and what's going to come of this.
Not going to be the last time you see Ravenwing and Grayfang!!! Got something planned! Something big!
Next chapter is in the works! Don't worry!!! Also Merry Christmas!!!
