Another chapter!!! I hope you all enjoyed my last one!! I'm slow at writing these as I have much to add to a chapter then having to go over and change it sometimes. Also it doesn't help that I write them all simultaneously and therefore slows the updates down. I'm working on all my current fanfics all at once and whenever I complete a chapter instantly begin writing the next one so it's never ending.

Morningbreeze liked to imagine that when they returned to camp that they would find everything in perfect order, warriors just going about their routines and Oakheart reporting that everything had been quiet since they had been gone. But Morningbreeze found no such thing because as they returned to camp they found it in disarray with their island home nearly submerged underwater and plenty of cats relocated up in the bushes at the top of the slope.

"Crookedstar!" The returning RiverClan cat's turned from the horrifying sight of their ruined camp to instead see Oakheart approaching with a grim look on his usually roguish face. "Thank StarClan you're back! The rainstorm flooded the river and submerged most of the territory, both Sunningrocks and even our camp are underwater now."

"I can see that." Crookedstar meowed grimly, gazing across at the camp that was practically washed away. "Is everyone alright?"

"We're all fine for the time being, although I think you might want to take a look at Mistyfoot and Silverstream, Mudfur." Oakheart advised, and the senior medicine cat was instantly on alert. "They've both been sick and I'm not sure why."

"I don't know what I can do without my supplies but I'll still go check on them." Mudfur meowed, reassuring both worried father's.

Mudfur passed the RiverClan deputy as he headed up the slope. Mosspaw followed after her mentor, but glanced back from time to time until both medicine cat's disappeared through the bushes. Leaving Crookedstar, Oakheart and Morningbreeze behind in an awkward silence.

"How was your trip to the Moonstone?" Oakheart finally asked, his eyes going back and forth between Crookedstar and Morningbreeze, searching for something.

"It was helpful." Crookedstar said curtly, not going into details.

Oakheart looked unsatisfied with his brother's response, but didn't push further, though a confrontation would happen between the brother's at some point. Morningbreeze was sure of that. Then the dark reddish-brown warrior turned to Morningbreeze and welcomed her back as well, "It's good to have you back as well, Morningpaw. Whitecl--"

"It's Morningbreeze now!" Morningbreeze corrected, watching as Oakheart blinked down at Morningbreeze, a look of pleasure and surprise spreading over his face.

"Congratulations, Morning-breeze, I wish I had been there to have seen your ceremony." Oakheart flashed a look of reproach at his brother.

Crookedstar gazed back at his brother, but they were now narrowed as an unknown tension rose between the pair. It startled the flame-pelted warrior, how quickly the two brothers could switch between intensities towards one another. It baffled her as to what has brought this uneasiness between them now.

Crookedstar broke eye contact with his brother for just a moment to address Morningbreeze. "Why don't you go find your friends? I believe me and my deputy need to discuss some things in private."

Oakheart seemed to agree with him. "Yes, we do have a few things to discuss."

Morningbreeze looked between the two, wondering if it was truly a good idea to leave them alone by themselves. Then she shook the thought away, these were two grown warriors who could talk things out by themselves. She dipped her head and headed up the slope, where she had seen Mudfur and Mosspaw disappear, but before she left, Crookedstar called out to her, "I'd like to talk to you later, Morningbreeze."

Morningbreeze waved her slightly crooked tail, signaling that she heard. And as she pushed her way through the bushes she heard Oakheart say, "What do you want with Morningbreeze-" as she entered the shelter of the bushes she was first greeted by Heavypaw.

"Hey, you're back!" The big, thickset brown tabby apprentice meowed, coming up to nudge her side. "I've heard from Mosspaw that you've become a warrior now."

"Yep. I'm Morningbreeze now." Morningbreeze confirmed, accepting the congratulation.

"Nice to hear some good news with all the flooding going on." Heavypaw meowed, nudging the flame-pelted she-cat again. "just you wait, Whiteclaw is going to make a spectacle of himself when he hears you've become a warrior."

Morningbreeze's delima about choosing what to do about Whiteclaw after finding out about her best friends affection towards her from before her journey reared its head and she didn't have that long to decide as a distraction in the form of the combined surprised meows of what sounded like Mistyfoot and Silverstream.

Concerned for her she-cat best friend and old mentor, Morningbreeze pushed through a curtain of reeds and found Mudfur standing over Mistyfoot, his paws gliding back and forth over her flank as if searching for something.

"I heard yelling." Morningbreeze blurted out, coming to hover on the sidelines, not getting in the medicine cat's way.

"Morningpaw," Silverstream greeted the flame-pelted she-cat in a far off dreamy voice. "I'm going to have kits." The silver-and-black tabby sounded as though she could hardly believe it. Neither could Morningbreeze. Just when was Silverstream seeing anyone? Why didn't she tell Morningbreeze about them? It hurt deeply that Silverstream kept this from her for so long.

"Both you and Mistyfoot are going to have kits!" Mosspaw piped up, correcting the silver-and-black tabby she-cat who hadn't seemed to hear the medicine cat apprentice.

"Both of you?" Morningbreeze meowed, blinking dumbfoundedly, her jade green eyes narrowed, Morningbreeze thought back on her first life and was certain that both Mistyfoot and Silverstream got pregnant at some point in their lives. Mistyfoot had quite a few kits, she was certain that one of them even became her deputy after she became RiverClan's leader. And as for Silverstream-- the newly made warrior's eyes stretched wide in horror as her jaw hung open in a silent screech of terror, although from an outside point of view it seemed as though she was just overwhelmingly surprised.

Silverstream didn't, how could she, why did she-- Morningbreeze couldn't wrap her mind around the situation that Silverstream was in. The flame-pelted warrior tried to calm herself down, there was a possibility that the father wasn't who she was thinking it was, but then why didn't Silverstream tell Morningbreeze about seeing someone? Why else was she always going on patrol and missing all those moons? In her past life all it took was one short meeting between Silverstream and Graystripe-fang to fall in love. Did the same thing happen in this life as well? Was Silverstream going to-- Morningbreeze violently shook her head, trying to physically throw them out, this was not the time for what ifs, she needed to focus on the here and now.

Morningbreeze forced a purr as she congratulated the pair. "You are both going to make good mother's."

"I never even knew that I was pregnant till now." Mistyfoot exclaimed, looking part thrilled and another part scared. "I just all of a sudden vomited and Blackclaw got all concerned. I thought I might have swallowed a feather or something."

"Mistyfoot is farther along," Mudfur remarked, his paws skimming over the recently discovered pregnant pale blue-gray warrior's stomach. "Although kits can come at any time they want, so they could be born late."

"Blackclaw is surely going to faint." Mosspaw mewed, sounding excited to see the muscular, broad-shouldered smoky-black warrior reaction to becoming a father. Secretly that was something Morningbreeze wanted to see too.

"I guess this means I won't remain your mentor for much longer, Morningpaw." Mistyfoot remarked, appearing guilty, as though she failed Morningbreeze.

"Oh, you don't have to worry about that," Morningbreeze assured her old mentor. "Crookedstar already made me a warrior. I'm Morningbreeze now."

Mistyfoot seemed surprised, and turned to Mudfur for confirmation. The light brown medicine cat nodded, "I was there when it happened, it wasn't very traditional but it happened all the same."

Mistyfoot's surprise turned into calm satisfaction, the newly found out queen then turned to her former apprentice, a warm light emitting from her ice-blue eyes. "If anyone is ready to become a warrior, it's you."

Morningbreeze shyly ducked her head, embarrassed by her mentor's praise, but it filled her with pride to gain her approval. It went to show that Morningbreeze earned her place in the Clan, without her past knowledge or her helping in defeating the Dark Forest. Mistyfoot truly believed in her and saw her for her skills and dedication alone.

"I can't wait till Whiteclaw finds out," Mosspaw meowed once again. "He's going to make a spectacle of himself."

There were agreeing murmurs between three of the cat's, and it caused Morningbreeze to duck her head in embarrassment for another reason altogether. She needed to have that conversation with Whiteclaw as soon as she could, to clear up the misunderstanding and figure this all out.

Morningbreeze nearly leaped out of her pelt as Oakheart abruptly pushed her way into the temporary designated medicine cat's den. Startling everyone. "Announce yourself before making a dramatic appearance." Mudfur grouches, leveling the embarrassed deputy. "We've got two expecting mother's that need to take it easy."

Oakheart's amber eyes stretched wide as his gaze flickered around at all the she-cat's present. Morningbreeze hurriedly shook her head, signaling that she wasn't one of them. Mosspaw was still an apprentice, so it only left Mistyfoot and Silverstream. The RiverClan deputy let out a loud purr as he went to lick his daughter's ears, congratulating her. "I'm so happy for you, you're going to make a wonderful mother." Although when his gaze turned to Silverstream, there was a glint that held something different than what he said to Mistyfoot. "You as well, Silverstream."

Silverstream seemed to recover from her transe, blinking her haziness from her blue eyes. She turned towards her uncle, leveling him with a more icy stare than the one he was giving her, and meowed, "Thank you, uncle. If you'd excuse me, I'm going to tell my father. I'm sure he's going to be happy about becoming a grandfather." abruptly the silver-and-black tabby she-cat left without a backwards glance towards any of them.

Morningbreeze was startled by Silverstream's sudden departure, but Oakheart and Mistyfoot shared what looked like a knowing look between themselves. It made Morningbreeze suspicious, it seems that both father and daughter might know what their niece and cousin had been up to as well. But Morningbreeze wasn't going to interrogate them before knowing about Silverstream.

Morningbreeze rose, planning on following after her friend in order to talk, but she was called back by RiverClan's own deputy. "Morningbreeze, can I have a word with you for a moment?" The flame-pelted she-cat froze for a moment, wondering what Oakheart might need her for, she turned around and found Oakheart gesturing for her to follow him out the makeshift medicine cat area and out of the temporary camp.

Both cats didn't go far. Still in sight of camp but out of hearing distance. Morningbreeze curiously wondered what Oakheart wanted to speak to her about, and from the grim look on his face, she wasn't sure she was going to like it.
