Charlie wandered aimlessly through the dimly lit hallways, her thoughts weighed down by the events of the day. She glanced at the clock on the wall, her heart heavy with a mix of exhaustion and sorrow. The final minute of Extermination Day was ticking away, and she couldn't help but feel a deep sadness—not just for the countless souls lost, but for the peculiar case of Yuta and Rika.

"What do you mean you don't remember meee!?" Rika's voice pierced through the air, filled with frustration and heartbreak. "WAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The sound of her wailing echoed through the room, sharp and shrill.

Charlie winced, scratching her head awkwardly. "She's… not taking it well, it seems." Her eyes drifted back to the clock—only seconds left now. She turned to the window, watching as the exorcists ascended back to Heaven, their work done for another year. A sigh of relief escaped her lips. The day was finally over. She hadn't been able to save many, but saving just one was enough for now. It was a small step forward, but a step nonetheless.

Yet, as the dust settled, a new problem emerged, one she hadn't anticipated: Yuta.

Yuta couldn't remember anything from his past life—not even Rika, at least not in her current monstrous form. He seemed to recognize her voice, but that was the extent of it. There were so many unknowns about this boy—his past, his connection to Rika, and the strange circumstances of his arrival in Hell. Charlie knew she had to figure it out, and a thought crossed her mind, a possible lead.
She pulled out her phone, her fingers hovering over the screen before she dialed the number she knew by heart—her mother, Lilith, the Queen of Hell. The phone rang, each tone echoing in the silence as she glanced over at Yuta. He was staring blankly at Rika, who was still sobbing, her monstrous form quivering with each cry. The confusion on his face was palpable, and Charlie's heart ached for him.

"Please answer…" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Finally, the call connected, and a deep, familiar voice filled her ear. "Charlie?"

"Heeey, Mom," Charlie replied, forcing cheerfulness into her tone.

"Hey, sweetie…" Lilith's voice was warm, but there was an undercurrent of stress that Charlie immediately picked up on.

"Um… is everything fine?" Charlie asked, concern creeping into her voice.

"Y-yeah… it's just been a tiring day, that's all…" Lilith's response was quick, almost too quick.

"A-are you sure, Mom?… Did… you go to the meeting with Heaven this time?" Charlie's worry deepened. She knew how taxing those meetings could be, especially without her father by her mother's side.

"Yes… your father couldn't go because of… his work, so I had to go. But don't worry, sweetie… are you okay? I know these days are hard for you." Lilith's tone softened, her concern for Charlie clear despite her own exhaustion.

"Um… actually… I'm kinda fine… I actually saved a sinner!" Charlie's voice lit up with excitement, momentarily forgetting her worries. She could almost picture her mother's surprised expression on the other end.

"You… what?" Lilith's disbelief was evident.

"He's friendly! I swear… and he's fine… well… not really…" Charlie's excitement faltered as she remembered the reason for her call.

"Not really…?" Lilith's voice grew more serious.

"I… called you because of this… since you know more about this stuff. See… he… doesn't remember anything from his past life, not even his name. For now, I'm just going off what this weird creature—Rika—says." Charlie explained, her words tumbling out in a rush.

"I-I don't quite understand… nothing at all? That's impossible… that sinner must be lying to you, Charlie…" Lilith's tone held a hint of disappointment, as if she couldn't believe what Charlie was telling her.

"N-no, Mom, I swear he's not… he really isn't…" Charlie insisted, her eyes drifting back to Yuta, who was now wandering around the room, his expression lost, almost vacant. "I know he's not lying." The conviction in her voice was undeniable, and she could hear her mother sigh on the other end.

"Charlie… you're too good for your own good… Please, just consider… it's really impossible to lose memories on the way here…" Lilith's voice was soft, almost pleading.

"Mom! Please… if it's really impossible, then help me figure out how to make him remember… please… I saved him… I don't want to leave him without anything from himself…" Charlie's voice broke slightly, her desperation clear. The silence that followed was long and heavy, each second stretching painfully.

"Okay… just this once… just come home…" Lilith finally relented, and hope surged within Charlie.

"Thank you… thankyouthankyoumom! I'll go there in one hour!" she exclaimed, her excitement bubbling over. Across the room, Yuta and the others looked at her, clearly confused by her sudden outburst.

"Is she always this… energetic?" Yuta asked Razzle, who simply nodded happily, a playful grin on his face.

Before Yuta could process what was happening, Charlie was beside him, her hands gripping his shoulders as she shook him with the same enthusiasm as before.

"Yuta, my mother can help you recover your memories, isn't that great?!" she said, her voice loud and filled with joy, her energy nearly overwhelming.

"R-really?" Yuta stammered, surprise coloring his tone as the world around him seemed to spin.

"Yes! Now let's go! We need to hurry!" Charlie didn't give him a chance to respond as she grabbed his hand, practically dragging him toward the door. Razzle and Dazzle followed closely, their expressions a mix of excitement and curiosity, while Rika, her face twisted in anger and confusion, trailed behind, her eyes never leaving Yuta.

The limo glided through the chaotic streets of Hell, its sleek, black exterior a stark contrast to the destruction unfolding outside. Razzle and Dazzle, the little goat demons, drove with unsettling cheerfulness, weaving through the carnage as if it were a normal day. Inside, Yuta sat beside Charlie, his eyes wide with confusion and fear as he stared out the window. As for Rika she vanished again, unable to fit in the confined space, leaving Yuta alone with his thoughts and the nightmarish scenery.

"What… are these people doing…?" Yuta's voice was barely above a whisper, his eyes fixated on the chaos outside—demons tearing at each other, buildings crumbling, and rivers of blood staining the streets. There was a childlike confusion in his tone, mingled with a deep, unsettling fear. Charlie glanced at him, feeling a pang of guilt.

"This… this just happens after an Extermination Day… well… always… but it's worse after that day." Her voice was soft, almost apologetic, as if she wished she could shield him from the harsh reality of Hell.

"Extermination Day?" Yuta echoed, the words foreign on his tongue.

"It's a day… where angels come down from Heaven to… kill sinners. It's their way of dealing with Hell's overpopulation problem. Any sinner caught by an angel is killed without a second thought, permanently. It's just for one day, but the slaughter is… just too much. And after it's over, the survivors… they just… they fight for power, for survival. It's a cycle." Charlie's explanation was tinged with sadness, her eyes avoiding Yuta's as she spoke. The weight of her words hung heavily in the air, and Yuta blinked, trying to process the horrors she described.

"So… I'm a sinner?" Yuta's question was hesitant, filled with a quiet disbelief that made Charlie pause.

"Well, yeah… technically. You were sent here instead of Heaven," she replied, her tone casual, as if she were discussing the weather. But for Yuta, it was like a punch to the gut—a realization that hit him harder than he could have anticipated. He was silent for a moment, his mind reeling.

"Then that means… I… I was a bad person before… right?" Yuta's voice was barely audible, each word a struggle. His question caught Charlie off guard, and she turned to him, seeing the raw vulnerability in his eyes.

"That's why I'm here… in Hell… I was a bad person…" he repeated, as if saying it aloud would help him understand. But it didn't. It only made the reality more painful, more real.

Charlie didn't know what to say. She could see how deeply this revelation was affecting him, and she regretted her earlier words. She could only imagine the turmoil in his mind—the fear, the guilt, the confusion. He didn't even remember what he had done to end up here, and yet, the weight of it was already crushing him.

"Look… Yuta… don't worry about that right now. Let's just focus on finding out who you were. And even then… it's okay. You seem like a really good person inside," Charlie said softly, her hand reaching out to rest on his. The warmth of her touch was comforting, and she gave him a small, reassuring smile.

"And you seem like you're already regretting it… whatever it was… and you don't even know what you did," she added, her voice gentle, trying to offer him some solace.

"I… I don't know how to feel about it… I don't think it matters now… I'm in Hell," Yuta responded, his tone filled with a sense of defeat. He felt like a shell of a person, hollowed out by the knowledge that he was here, in this place of torment. Whatever he had done, he regretted it—he could feel that much. But the details, the memories, were lost to him, and that made the regret even more unbearable.

"Actually…" Charlie began, hesitating for a moment before catching Yuta's attention. "I have… an idea… maybe… or you know what? Just forget it…" Her voice trailed off, uncertainty lacing her words. She buried her face between her knees, suddenly unsure of herself.

"W-what is it, Charlie?" Yuta asked, his curiosity piqued despite the gloom hanging over him.

"It's nothing, it's just… something I want to try… but everyone says it's a stupid idea… and… I don't even know if it would work." Her voice was muffled, filled with self-doubt, and she seemed almost embarrassed to bring it up.

"Charlie… you can tell me," Yuta said gently, leaning in a bit closer. "You've been so good to me since I arrived here… you even gave me a safe place… I promise I won't call it a stupid idea like the others… I… just want to hear it. But if you don't want to… that's fine too…" His voice was soft, reassuring, as he tried to convey his sincerity. Charlie looked up at him, surprised by the kindness in his words. She hummed softly, thinking it over.

"M-maybe… maybe I'll tell you later…" Charlie finally said, a faint smile touching her lips. She could feel his sincerity, and it comforted her. But still, she wasn't ready to share her plan—not yet. Yuta nodded at her response, respecting her decision. He turned back to the window, watching the inferno of Hell with a resigned expression.

The limo continued its journey, weaving through the chaos until, finally, they arrived at their destination. Yuta's eyes widened as he gazed at the massive structure before them—a palace, towering and grand, unlike anything he had ever seen… even if its not much he remembers first of all.

"I-is it here?" Yuta asked, his voice tinged with awe.

"Yeah… my home…" Charlie replied, her tone casual, as if it were the most ordinary thing in the world. Yuta blinked, still trying to wrap his mind around the sheer scale of the place.

"A-alright then…" he murmured, more to himself than to her. He didn't question it further and followed Charlie, his mind a whirlwind of thoughts. As they walked toward the grand entrance, Yuta couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding. Whatever awaited him inside, he knew it would bring him closer to the answers he sought—answers that, perhaps, he wasn't entirely ready to palace was overwhelming for Yuta. Everywhere he looked, grandeur greeted him—gleaming surfaces, intricate carvings, and towering portraits that demanded attention. But it was the family portraits that captured his focus. They depicted Charlie's family as if they were royalty. A man with the same pale skin as Charlie, a wide, almost unsettling grin on his face, dressed in a pristine white suit and hat—her father, undoubtedly. Next to him, a tall woman with lilac skin, magenta horns curling majestically from her head, clad in an elegant dress—this had to be Charlie's mother. And there, in the center, sat Charlie herself. Unlike her parents, her presence seemed softer, more kind, radiating a warmth that Yuta hadn't expected in this place.

"Charlie…" Yuta's voice broke the silence, drawing her attention. "Who are you… exactly?" His gaze lingered on the portrait, as if trying to piece together the puzzle.

"Oh!" Charlie turned to him with a light-hearted laugh, as if she'd just remembered something trivial. "I forgot to mention that. My family rules Hell—I'm the Princess of Hell!" She beamed, her words casual yet carrying a weight that made Yuta's jaw drop.

"Y-you forgot to mention that?" Yuta echoed, incredulity in his voice.

"Yeah, yeah, I know…" She waved off his reaction with a dismissive hand, already moving down the hall. "I tend to forget things. But come on, we need to see my mom. The sooner we get to know more about you, the better."

As Yuta followed her, the realization of who Charlie was sank in, his mind swirling with even more questions. The Princess of Hell? What did that mean for her… for him? He sighed, his anxiety growing with each step. If Charlie was different from her surroundings, what about her parents? Were they as terrifying as the title suggested and Charlie was the anomaly?

The walk to the next room felt endless, Yuta's thoughts gnawing at him. What kind of person had he been? A thief? A killer? Something worse? Each possibility felt like a dagger twisting in his gut. He tried to push the thoughts aside, focusing instead on following Charlie.

Finally, they arrived at a room cluttered with books and scattered documents—a stark contrast to the palace's otherwise pristine halls. At the center, behind a large desk, sat the woman from the portrait, Lilith, sipping wine as she perused a stack of papers. Her presence was commanding, effortlessly filling the room.

Lilith sensed their arrival before Charlie could announce it. She rose to her full height, towering over both Yuta and Charlie, her imposing figure casting a long shadow. Despite being a bit taller than Yuta, Charlie seemed almost small beside her mother. When Lilith's gaze fell upon Yuta, he felt an overwhelming aura of terror wash over him. For a moment, he struggled to keep his composure, but he held his ground, refusing to show fear.

Lilith's eyes narrowed, a subtle smile playing at the corner of her lips. "Strong-willed… Interesting," she mused, her thoughts interrupted only when Charlie rushed forward to embrace her.
"Heeey, Mom!" Charlie chirped, her voice bright and full of affection. Lilith's stern expression softened slightly as she returned the hug, though her eyes remained fixed on Yuta.

Charlie quickly pulled back and dragged Yuta forward, eager to make the introduction. "Mom, this is the sinner I told you about. His name is Yuta—Yuta Okkotsu." Her enthusiasm was palpable, but Lilith's gaze remained unyielding, her eyes boring into Yuta.

"Didn't he lose all memories of his past life?" Lilith inquired, her voice calm but laced with skepticism.

"Yes, but Rika told me they were close… in their past lives, I think."

"Rika?" Lilith's attention shifted, her brow furrowing. "And who is this… Rika?"

Charlie leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. "It's complicated… I'm not entirely sure what she is. She's like a… a creature that's somehow attached to him. It's almost as if she's inside him, but not in a… bad way of course." Charlie's hesitation was evident as she tried to explain, her words carefully chosen.

Lilith's expression remained unreadable as she listened. Finally, she turned her attention back to Yuta, her gaze intense. "So, Yuta," she began, her voice carrying a weight that made Yuta's stomach twist, "you truly don't remember anything about your past life? About your… sins? You're in Hell, after all."

Yuta swallowed hard, his throat suddenly dry. "I… I don't remember anything… I swear," he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. Lilith's expression remained cold as she stepped closer, lowering herself until she was face-to-face with him.

"Do you know who I am?" she asked, her tone leaving no room for evasion.

"You're Charlie's mother… the Queen of Hell… she told me," Yuta replied, forcing himself to meet her gaze. They stared at each other, the silence between them thick with tension.

Lilith's eyes narrowed as she summoned a chain that coiled around Yuta's neck like a serpent. With a flick of her wrist, the chain tightened, pulling him to the ground. Charlie gasped, panic flooding her eyes.

"Mom! What are you doing!?" Charlie's voice was frantic, but Lilith raised a hand to silence her, her focus never wavering from Yuta.

"Being the Queen of Hell is more than just a title," Lilith's voice was icy, her words cutting deep. "I've ruled this plane for its entire existence alongside my husband. Every soul that has fallen here is for a reason. You are no exception. You were a bad human, a flawed creation. You've been fortunate to find Charlie… but she is kind to a fault, often taken advantage of, lied to. Losing memories? Impossible.
You carry every sin, every mistake within you. So tell me… are you here to start over? Or are you just another sinner looking to exploit my daughter?"

Yuta's hands clawed at the chain around his neck, the pain searing as he gasped for air. But even in his desperation, there was no fear in his eyes—only confusion.

"Mom, stop this!" Charlie's voice was strained, her horns beginning to grow in anger.

"I don't know what I was," Yuta choked out, each word a struggle. "I won't say I wasn't a bad person… I'm in Hell, after all… like you said…"

His eyes began to water, the weight of his words sinking in. "I was lucky to find Charlie… and I've never thought of hurting her, or taking advantage of her… she doesn't deserve that… But I need to know… I need to know who I was, why I'm here… I can't live with this doubt… Please…"

Lilith stared into his eyes, searching for any sign of deception. But there was none. No malice, no ulterior motives—just a genuine plea for understanding. It stirred something within her, a feeling she hadn't expected. But before she could react, a fierce roar erupted, and Rika materialized, her monstrous form lunging toward the Queen of Hell.

In an instant, Lilith was out of range, Charlie pulled along with her, the chains releasing Yuta.

"Oh no," Charlie muttered, fear creeping into her voice.

"Wait… what?" Lilith's eyes widened in disbelief, her usual composure shattered. "A cursed spirit?"

Rika roared again, ready to strike, but Yuta intervened, grabbing her hand. "Stop it… I'm fine… please, don't get us into trouble… please, Rika," he pleaded, his voice soft yet firm.

Rika glared at Lilith, her protective instincts overriding everything else. But Yuta's words reached her, and slowly, reluctantly, she backed down, her form retreating behind him, still ready to defend him at a moment's notice.

Yuta coughed as he struggled to stand, his voice hoarse. "I-I'm sorry for that… she didn't mean to… she was just protecting me… I should've told you sooner… I'm so… sorry."
Lilith watched in stunned silence, her mind reeling from the events that had just unfolded. How had this boy managed to control a cursed spirit? One of this much power... And more importantly, why was this… sinner just apologizing?

The room fell into an uneasy silence as Charlie hurried over to Yuta, her eyes filled with concern. "A-are you okay? Does it hurt?" she fussed over him, checking the marks on his neck, while Rika hovered nearby, her protective gaze never leaving Lilith.

"I'm fine, Charlie… really," Yuta assured her, though his voice was still shaky. He tried to smile, but it didn't quite reach his eyes.

As they spoke, Lilith's gaze remained locked on Rika, replaying their earlier confrontation in her mind. There was something about this spirit, something she couldn't quite place…
"Mom! What the hell was that!?" Charlie's voice snapped Lilith out of her thoughts, the anger in her daughter's tone unmistakable.

"I…" Lilith faltered, uncharacteristically unsure of how to respond.

"I told you to believe me! I told you he was telling the truth! Why do you still think of me as some defenseless girl? I can take care of myself; I'm not a child!" Charlie's voice cracked, tears threatening to spill over.

Lilith's heart ached at the sight of her daughter's pain. She had let things spiral out of control. "C-Charlie… please… I-I know you can take care of yourself… and I'm sorry… but—"

"But what?! I came to you for help, and instead, you treat the sinner I saved like this! I just can't believe it!" Charlie's voice was raw with emotion, and Lilith felt each word like a blow to the chest.

Sensing the tension rising, Yuta stepped forward, placing a gentle hand on Charlie's shoulder. "Charlie… I'm fine. And please, don't yell… I'm sure she means it when she says she's sorry… She's your mother, after all. She only wants what's best for you…"

"But she made a mistake… she didn't believe me!"

"I know… but you're her daughter. She wants to protect you—especially here in Hell. Wouldn't you do the same?" Yuta's words hung in the air, and Charlie's anger began to fade as she considered them.
Lilith watched in disbelief. This sinner… after everything, he was defending her? She had been so sure of his intentions, but now… she wasn't so certain.

Charlie turned back to her mother, her expression softening. Lilith seized the moment, her voice gentle but earnest. "Charlie… I'm truly sorry. I should have trusted you. I should trust you more. Please… forgive me."

Charlie hesitated, then slowly nodded. "I… it's fine… I'm sorry for yelling…" She still wasn't sure how to feel, but the anger had ebbed.

Yuta exhaled in relief, glad he had been able to diffuse the situation, at least partially. He turned to Rika, who had been watching silently. He reached out, gently patting her head.

"Listen… she was just trying to protect her daughter, just like you were trying to protect me." Yuta's voice was soft, almost coaxing. Rika slowly nodded. "Can I ask you something?"

"Yeees, Yuta?" Rika replied, her voice losing some of its earlier hostility.

"Please don't attack everyone you see… I'll be fine… trust me." He smiled at her, and after a moment of hesitation, Rika nodded, her form slowly dissipating, leaving Yuta, Charlie, and Lilith alone in the room.

"Yuta…" Lilith's voice broke the silence, and Yuta looked up at her. Her expression had softened, a hint of regret in her eyes. "I'm sorry for putting you through that…"

"I-I understand… you don't have to apologize," Yuta replied sincerely.

But Lilith shook her head. "No, I do. I was wrong about you… and I want to make it up to you. Please, let me help you recover your memories." Her voice was calm, almost pleading, and Yuta could see the genuine intent behind her words.

After a moment's hesitation, Yuta nodded, the weight of uncertainty lifting just a little. Perhaps, with their help, he could finally uncover the truth about his past and what had led him to this place.

As they walked through the expansive halls, Yuta's anxiety deepened with each step, the weight of the unknown pressing down on him. Charlie, sensing his unease, gently took his hand and offered a reassuring smile. The warmth of her gesture was enough to calm his racing thoughts, if only slightly. Yuta squeezed her hand in return, finding some solace in her presence.

Lilith, observing the exchange with a subtle glance, softened her tone. "Nervous?" she asked, her voice now carrying a gentle concern.

"Nervous is an understatement" Yuta admitted, his voice betraying the tension that knotted his insides. Lilith nodded, understanding.

"Whatever you were," she began, her expression serious and intent, "won't define what you are now, or what you choose to become." Her words were meant to ease his nerves, but the weight of them only added to the silence that followed.

Charlie, perhaps sensing the growing tension, broke the quiet. "Mom, you mentioned Rika as a cursed spirit... What exactly is that?" Her question made Lilith pause briefly, glancing at her daughter before resuming their pace.

"Cursed spirits are the physical manifestations of human negative emotions" Lilith explained, her tone neutral but laced with the gravity of the subject. "They are dangerous beings, born of an ancient cursed power."

"An ancient cursed power?" Yuta asked, his curiosity piqued despite his apprehension.

"They exist only in the human realm, and even then they are not common at all… they are still pretty rare" Lilith continued, her gaze flicking down to Yuta. "It's impossible for one to be here in hell even… but then again," she hesitated, studying him intently, "your very presence defies what I've known for all the time I've existed, first with your unusual memory loss and now your… cursed companion…"

Before Yuta could respond, Lilith stopped in front of a towering door, the conversation left hanging in the air. "We've arrived," she announced.

Yuta's eyes widened at the sheer size of the door. "What is this place?" he asked, his curiosity momentarily overshadowing his fear.

"The Grand Archive" Lilith replied as she pushed the doors open. They entered a room so vast that it seemed to stretch on endlessly, even by the palace's grand standards. "This is where every piece of information about every citizen of Hell is stored."

Charlie looked around in awe. "I've never seen this place before… It's enormous."

"It's a pocket dimension your father created," Lilith explained. "With the nearly infinite number of souls arriving in Hell, we needed a space that could expand indefinitely."

Yuta marveled at the endless rows of files, each one representing a soul, a life once lived. "But… how will we ever find my file in all of this?" he asked, the enormity of the task sinking in.

Lilith smiled slightly at his concern. "We won't need to search for long." She began chanting softly, her hair lifting as a red aura enveloped her. Within moments, a single file appeared before her, floating gently into her hands. She handed it to Yuta, who stared at it in disbelief.

"That's… it?" he stammered, inspecting the file with his name embossed on the front. The picture attached was of him, he almost looked the same as his life on Earth.

"It's simple," Lilith replied with a shrug. "Especially since you've only recently arrived."

Yuta looked at the front page and read aloud, his voice trembling slightly. "Date of birth… unknown? Japan?… Date of death... December 24th, 2018… Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan…" Meanwhile Lilith just raised an eyebrow, the file doesnt show his birth date?

"Wow, you're Japanese?" Charlie said, surprised. "I've heard they're very interesting people!"

But Yuta couldn't respond, his eyes fixed on the file as his hands trembled. Both Lilith and Charlie noticed, and Charlie placed a comforting hand on his back.

"Yuta," she said softly, "no matter what you find in there, it doesn't change who you are now. You've already shown you are different."

Yuta looked at her, then back at the file. With a deep breath, he slowly opened it, his eyes squeezing shut as if bracing for impact. Charlie and Lilith watched him, the anticipation palpable.

When Yuta finally opened his eyes, he stared at the pages in confusion. "What… what is this?" he asked, bewildered.

Lilith took the file from him, her expression shifting to surprise. "The text… it's changing. It's like it's distorting itself, this is unreadable..."

Yuta watched in silence as the words on the page twisted and morphed, his thoughts mirroring the chaotic script. The more he tried to make sense of it, the more the words seemed to slip away, leaving him with only more questions than answers.

End Of Chapter

Writer: Aaand another chapter, as you can see this story takes years before the first episode of Hazbin Hotel, since Lilith is here! She is not gone!... yet! As of now we dont know how she truly is so this is just more of... what I think she could be, no matter, even if she turns out to be... bad... welp not here in this story I guess.

As for Yuta... he is the Shinjuku version as you can see too, I decided to take him from that point (What point of the fight exactly? Well I cant tell that of course, lets keep a bit of mystery lol), hopefully you like what I have planned for him in the future chapters!

Ill try to make the characters as faithful to their originals as much as I can do, Ill do my best!

And with JJK almost done as of now, hopefully Gege doesnt kill Yuta off because it would be very sad :(
